Idisk still trying to sync daily, how do I delete sync

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, the iDisk - which no longer exists - still tries to sync daily using the schedule I had setup when using MobileMe. Each day I get the same error message that it can't perform the sync. I understand that but I can't figure out how to delete the sync settings.
MobileMe is not present in System Preferences, so I can't delete the daily sync there. Nothing in iCloud has a way to delete the old MobileMe sync. How do I delete this sync so the sync error doesn't appear everyday?
The iDisk icon does not appear in Finder so I can't make any changes directly to iDisk. If I try to login to my MobileMe account, which I know is now my iCloud account, it automatically sends me to iCloud. I can't find anyway to delete the sync in iCloud.

I'm afraid I have no further idea. You don't have a MobileMe prefs pane in 10.8, and if you can't find any of the prefs files then all I can suggest is that you contact Support.
If you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:

You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support (MobileMe Support is no longer available) and you will probably be asked to pay a fee.

To delete synced photos and videos from your device

Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.

So basically there is no answer to this question except workarounds. In my opinion, I think this is another bad design of the iPhone. Actually, i had already deleted the emails trying to be sent in the outbox, which didn't work. What did work was going to Mail>Window>Activity and stopping the sending from there. Thank you for replying.

I installed iSync from my SL backup and all went well as it showed up in my applications and when brought up on the screen, launched, I reset the history.
When trying to sync my calendars again I first uncheck all calendars via iTunes, syncronized and then check the one I wanted and syncronized again. No difference, ended up with many multiples.
I then searched a little further using spotlight typing in just iSync and a developer file showed up that looks like it is designed to reset the history but no sure. I opened in in Komodo but don't know how to proceed from there.
Here is the file: Under Usage it seems I could run this file but not sure how to. Could you help with this or am I on the wrong track?

This is a problem. Normally you do need to connect to the computer you've synced ith previously to delete albums that were copied from that computer.
In the case where the old computer fails, crashes or is sold or discarded, you need to get all of your stuff off the iPad and onto a new computer. Visit Apple support to learn how to do this. Once you establish a new tunes library on a different computer you can sync and delete the photo albums you no longer want.
Another option is to restore your iPad to its original state. That will delete everything including photos, non default apps, music, videos, etc.
Once reset and erased you can download all purchased apps again.

If it was synced from your computer then it can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select it from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

Okay, so istumbler says my connection goes to yellow when I go to the Aple TV location, but my internet speed is greatly increased tonight (20Mbps on speedtest.net near the router and 15.49Mbps at the Apple TV). Upload is unchanged at a little under 1Mbps). I did manage to get the Apple Contact location and I am sure they will post a credit for the movie (since their logs will show repeated attepts to download and no joy, although we both know they won't go to the trouble to look at them). As far as I'm concerned, it was a one-time problem and until it happens again to me, I will remain convinced it was on their end of the connection or in between (although that was unlikely). I've been administering and managing netowrks for over 20 years and am pretty confident that the connection on my end was working.

I updated my version of Itunes. I plugged in my Ipad to sync and it also needed an update to its software. It extracted the software and then moves to "backing up", but gets stuck for hours w/ only appx. 5% of back up complete. This happens to me often. I am unable to pin down what exactly causes it but I have discovered how to get it to sync. I delete the iPad backup from within iTunes and then hard reset it (by holding the top button and home button until the screen turns off) and then I force quit iTunes. I then restart iTunes and plug in the still-turned-off iPad allowing the connection with iTunes to boot up the iPad. From here, the sync will almost always work, albiet after a long backup process. This is normal, I believe, because iTunes needs to rebuild the iPad backup from scratch. By the way, I'm assuming you're on Mac OS X. I have no idea if this would work in Windows.
