Idle and away status

I have "block others from seeing my status as idle" turned on. I have "set my status to Away after the computer is inactive" turned OFF.
So, I see my status in the ichat window goto idle, with the above settings, that just means others can't see it, right? Just wanted to make sure that with these settings that what I am seeing in my window should not always say "available."

Others should not see you as Idle.

What is the difference between "idle" and "away." I have mine set to "do not allow people to see I am idle," but they can still see I am away. Just wondered what the difference was>>

Idle is the time from your last keyboard or mouse Input.
Away is just a message.
iChat can colour this red.
You can obviously add text as well.
Idle can be over-ridden if the Screen Saver kicks in before the Idle time is achieved (less than 5 mins)
So can Energy Saver if the Computer sleeps sooner.
If no setting is made to set to Away the Buddies will see you go Amber if they wait long enough.
Timings get shown. You rarely see less than Idle for 10mins unless you tweak your Idle time.
You Do Not see Idle Away messages in iChat.
However mousing over an Away buddy can reveal that they are also Idle and the time with the Info Pop up.

Any chance for the "away" and "busy" statuses to make it back into Skype for Android?

I recently realized that the new (well new as of early July) Skype for Android is missing the "away" and "busy" statuses (and perhaps some other one as well). I've seen other users around this forum mentioning the same thing, but it's unclear to me whether this was done intentionally or not. Are there any chances for these statuses to be added back? And if not what has been reasoning behind the decision of taking them out? - Adriano

I inadvertedly changed a setting where the top of my screen no longer shows the apple logo in the top left or the clock and wifi status and strength on the top of the screen, how can I get it to show both of these things again like it used to?

I inadvertedly must have changed a setting where the apple logo and files and things that used to be in the top left corner of the screen are no longer there as the clock and wifi status and other installed settings used to show up in the top right hand corner of my screen. When I move my mouse to the very top of the screen they drop down but when I move my arrow away from the very top of the screen they both disappear again. So I was wondering how can I get it to revert back to the way it used to be? I hope this isnt confusing.

I tried the zoom thing but it still didnt resolve my issue Im gonna try to clarify my issue a little bit more, before the change, my screen when I would surf the web would have the apple logo and safari and file and edit and view buttons at the top left hand of the screen and the upper right hand screen would have the time and the wifi strength and my name and the spotlight box and a volume control but now they dont show while Im browsing the web unless I take my arrow and move it to the very top of the screen then those boxes will drop down like it used to be but when I take my arrow and move it from the top of the screen it disappears again and ll I get is a back and forward arrow and the url input bar. Anyone else have any ideas of what I did to mess this up?

Facebook and Twitter status buttons in notification center?

I was messing around on my ipad mini with iOS 7 today and noticed that I cannot update my Facebook and Twitter status from notification center. Does anyone know how to turn this feature back on or if it was done away with iOS 7 altogether?

Yes, Facebook and Twitter are defined & enabled. I'm able to send out Tweets and Post to Facebook from Notification Centre.

DG standby db recovery mode idle, and lag for days.

We have a RAC 2 node primary and 2 node RAC standby qa environment in redhat linux.
two nights ago, some maintenance caused primary down, and db failed over to standby. and now I found out by dgmgrl the following error:

they both are same resetlogs_change#? because FSFO initiated and there is no standby database to perform switchover.

A better way to get current and previous status?

I'm working on a system where status messages are read into a table for items of equipment. My requirement is to find all the messages arriving within a particular time window, together with the status value and the status value for the previous message sent for that equipment item, if any. This previous message can (and probably will) have a date outside the window I'm looking at, or might not exist at all for a brand new equipment item.
The table looks something like this:

How to get system status and user status of service order

I want to show user status and system status for service order in my report and i am using CRM_ORDER_READ function module to read the status, but it is returning lot of status records, could anyone please suggest how to get the system status and user status for service order.
I did not find any clue for how to get user status, i can see the user status when i open the transaction using CRMD_ORDER.

Go to CRM_JEST table give your service order guid and get the status, pass this status into TJ02. You will get the status of your order.

Shipping and delivery status from R/3 to CRM

Hi all,
we are creating sales orders in CRM and replicating it to R/3. CRM is the owner of the document.
Now whenever changes are done to sales order in CRM, the changes are replicated to R/3.
Let's say the shipping status is updated in R/3. Now the requirement is the changes need to be replicated
back to CRM.
I can use the scenario X + Y or X alone. But with X or X + y scenario Once I make changes in R/3 then the
document owner changes to R/3. this means any further changes in CRM will not be replicated back to R/3.
I require all changes from CRM to be replicated to R/3, but from R/3 I require the shipping and delivery status to be replicated back to CRM. How could this be achieved.
It would be great if you could share the experiences.

The requirement is to send the user status from CRM (where the request is generated) to R3 (where the material is processed).
The user status of the return order in CRM should be sent real-time to R3. Any updates to the user status in CRM should result in a corresponding change in the user status in R3. Any updates to the user status in R3 should trigger a corresponding change to the user status in CRM. All user statuses must be available in BI/BW for reporting and analytical requirements.
From R3 to CRM Standard R3-CRM middleware exchanges information between the two systems any time a transaction is created or changed. At this point the order information is exchanged between the two systems depending on whether the item or the header level data is changed in R3. The development should be able to download the user status at the header & the line item level when the middleware brings down R3 sales transaction data to CRM. For the sake of simplicity the status profile in R3 and CRM will be defined exactly the same therefore we do not need a mapping table between the two systems. This information should also be exchanged in case the line item is deleted / cancelled / rejected.
The same from CRM to R/3.
Processing restrictions :
This should not be transaction, item category or status profile specific so that as and when a new transaction type, item category or a status profile is added it should still be allowed to transfer between the two systems.
Should be developed as an enhancement to the standard middleware data stream between R3 and CRM.

Goods Movement and Billing status at header level

Hello,
Im new to this topic and have some very basic questions
Will WBSTK field be updated with goods movement status for a given sales order number in VBUK table ?
Similarly, will FKSTK/FKSTK or BUCHK will be updated with billing status ?
I know that for a given delivery document number, I can track the status at the item level.
But my aim is to know the overall goods movement and billing status at the order header level.
Any clues will be of great help.

A sales order does not determine a billing status for delivery related billing, field VBUK-FKSTK is only determined for delivey.
Just because of this, you will not find billing status field in VA03 -> goto header;
you could only find billing status field for delivery in VL03N -> status overview.

System and User Statuses Missing

Hi All,
Does anyone know what causes the system and user statuses to disappear on the main screen of the production order. Normally we see all system statuses and the current user status like this:

Some configuration must have changed because even though the statuses are in JEST, they are not displayed on the order.

Just a different thinking to see, whether we can get some clues.
I would suggest you get into the order in the change mode, try some minor changes may in terms of operation text etc...and try to save the order. if there are some missing stuff, I am sure now SAP would throw out the error lets take the leads from there on.
