Integrated Authentication not working for firefox 31 and above for NTLMv2

Users browsing from a Citrix session are being asked to authenticate using Firefox on newer versions (31-35) as they used to pass authentication transparently via NTLMv2 in earlier versions. This does not happen on IE so wondering what to do to get this working again for Firefox users.

I would like to bump this and I am wondering if this was ever solved. My only difference is at one point I had it working with http but ended up reinstalling using https. I get access denied but when I type in my username and password and it goes in fine.

I have changed NTFS permissions
Made sure NTLM was on top
Website is in the local intranet zone
On the server itself that hosts the webconsole I can get in fine.

Fallback for Spengo not working for Firefox even though it works for IE

I am using firefox, 3.6.8. I am trying to connect to an AppServer which uses SPNEGO as an external user. I have a fallback set up so that if it is an external user and SPNEGO fails, the AppServer will revert to Applicate Security which is simple BASIC authentication.
The fallback works ok for IE but not for Firefox. If I try to access the site, firefox just tells me:
SPNEGO Authentication not supported on this client and the fallback never happens.

Adobe Plugins are not working for Firefox or Explorer 8

HI There,
my firefox and explorer do not open adobe reader files any more. IN firefox it opens it in a different viewer and when it prints it prints the document as an artifact and the letters are not clear (almost looks like a blurry .jpg). The plug in is installed but when I go to adobe reader under preferences then internet it says that the program is not available. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling acrobat and it still does not work. I intalled the latest Java thinking that was the issue but still the same. I can not find a way to delete and reinstall the plugins in Firefox or Explorer. Are they built into the new Adobe Reader?

Can you guide me on how to change it to adobe reader as the default. I can't figure out where this option is.
I have to get access to the computer with the probloem to pull up the error message when trying to open a pdf file in Explorer. I think it says that it can`t find the program or to try shutting adobe down and try again.

FlashPlayerTrust file is not working for firefox

Hi guys,
there are two methods of putting your swf under the localTrusted.
1. add your location to local trusted by setting in to online setting manager on macromedia site.
2. create a cfg file and put it in flash player trust directory i.e "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerTrust".
Am i right?
now my application works fine in IE by doing so but it irritate me on firefox.
if i add my swf file location in online setting manager on macromedia site then it start working but cfg file doesnt leave any effect.
really i need to achieve this by cfg file not by adding some setting in online setting manager .
any solution, suggestion??

test your javascript code with a HTML page in both firefox and IE.
And then move it to OA framework.
Javascript behaves differently for different browsers. This is why Oracle doesnot recommend javascripts.

Flash drag and drop not working on Firefox for android browser

Drag and drop functionality is not working using Firefox Browser for Android on tablet. We tested with flash action script 2.0 & 3.0 content, both have same issue. Specs of the tab and OS are as follows.
Android - Kitkat 4.4.2
Tab models - Lenovo A7600H and Samsung Tab4 T531

Additionally, we observed that the object on which Drag and Drop event was triggered, is moving little bit when we double tap.
Does Firefox provide any libraries to support Drag and Drop functionality on Flash? We are using Geekoview api to execute flash content in our app. Will the same support be provided in Geekoview as well?
Are there other folks facing the same issue? Is there a solution or workaround to get this feature running?

Flash on Android is no longer supported by Adobe. While Firefox does support basic functionality we mainly focus on legacy video applications. You may run into issues with Flash and Geckoview. I doubt we have any resources to support that configuration.

That problem isn't related to Private Browsing specifically, that's how Firefox works with regards to multiple "sessions" with the same server - only one logon is allowed at any time. Try using one of these extensions to be able to run multiple session cookies.

Battlelog (for battlefield 3) does not work with Firefox 15.0.1. It works fine with the older Firefox 14.0.1

The flash features on the Battlefield 3 site - battlelog.battlefield.com do not work when Firefox updates itself to 15.0.1 It does not load the pages correctly or does it let you select/ click on anything in the flash parts. When I uninstalled 15.0.1 and reinstalled Firefox 14.0.1 I unchecked the option to let firefox re-upgrade itself and battlelog works fine.

I do not wish you to break Firefox on Battelfield 3, but have you tried using the latest version of Flash Player. You should also remember that using outdated versions of Firefox increases security risks to your computer and personal data.
You may get an answer to this sort of question faster by asking on a forum related to that game site, (and if you do please post back with the solution preferably with a link).
Possibly you could consider using Firefox 15 and later as the day to day browser, and Firefox 14 only for the problem games.
*The simplest way to do that may be to install Firefox portable (I assume that will run a Firefox 14 version)
* A better way would be to install multiple versions of Firefox. That is often considered advanced, but I imagine most experienced computer users could do it easily (I can provide links to instructions). That has the advantage that the problem could be looked at a bit more closely, possibly even filing a bug if it appears to be a Firefox regression causing the problem.

Crap. That's what I was afraid of...Well, since I'm away from home and not near my pc, it sounds like I'm out of luck. The problem is that I need my phone to be at least functional for making and receiving calls. There's an apple store nearby. Perhaps I can go there and have them restore it and at least I'll be able to make and receive calls until I get home and restore from my backup. Does that sound feasible, or am I missing something?

Tools Advanced setting is on auto spell check but has not worked for months - yes it had worked, probably for years. Looking at gmail for an auto spell checker I see that it leaves that to one's browser - Firefox.

Your More system details list doesn't show the en-GB dictionary.
If you do not have the en-US locale then check that you have a dictionary installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and selected.
You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu. 
Also make sure that [X]"Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu has a tick. 
You can also try to toggle the "Check Spelling" item off and on again.

I'm using Microsoft virtual earth map 6.2 (bing Map) in my application.On map showing number of images.On Each image there is onClick event that select image if user press left mouse button while holding Ctrl key .For this I wrote java-script function where I'm using Window.event.button (To check mouse button) and window.event. ctrlKey(To check control key) But these both are not working in Firefox 4.0 ,the same is working in Firefox 3.6X version perfectly.

Java Web Start is not working on Firefox 3 Kubuntu 8.04 64bit

When I try to access web start demo applications it redirects me to download page. It is not working for both Firefox 3 and Konqueror. If I type form command line javaws it will start some policy editor, which I assume means that web start is working. Is there any way to fix this?

plugin and webstart are not yet available in 64bit jre distributions from Sun.
These are targeted to 6u12 or there abouts.

Thickbox 3.1 juqery plugin does not working on Firefox 9.0 version

I have used thickbox 3.1 jquery plugin on my application. I have one issue, my open on new browser window instead on thickbox window. It's working fine with all the browser and with Firefox 3.6.0. But It does not working with firefox higher version like 9.0 and above. I have gone through the various forum to check the solution and being unlucky to found any.
Can you plese help to identifying the solution for the same.

Thanks for your quick comeback. What I found is the bug is in my js file which has fire event function to init click MouseEvents (event.initEvent). The event.initEvent has some conflicts with higher version of Firefox 9.0 and above.

Can you please provide more details about your configuration and the symptoms of what is not working for you?
What OS are you using?
What version of Flash Player do you have installed? (You can find out here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html )
Are you using Firebug and the BrowserLab for Firebug add-on, or are you just using BrowserLab standalone?
Does BrowserLab work in any other browser for you such as IE or Safari?
What are the exact steps you are taking and what do you see that you say BrowserLab is not working for you?
