IDM is not working with Web Sphere

Hi,
i have installed IDM 7 and make the idm.war and deploying with websphere5. the deployment has success but when i tried to start the application from web sphere admin console the web sphere server stops and not work admin console also.
any other solution.
i am unable to find the loggingtoolkit4j from ibm site and i didn;t get the log.jar
kindly give the path where i can find out

This may not be related, but I found that it may be necessary to turn of the Java 2 security option on the JVM in WebSphere.
To turn off in WebSphere, logon to the WAS Administrative Console and navigate to Security > Configuration > Secure Administration > Applications and Infrastructure. Uncheck the Java 2 Security option.

I'm trying to enable BI Publisher to run from the internet. I have Web Cache (AS10g rel 2) in an internet DMZ, trying to work with BI Publisher running on a AS10g rel 3 server in a application DMZ. BI Publisher won't allow Web Cache to hide the URL after login. It tries to use the application server name as a URL and gets lost, since this is not resolvable from the internet. We have Content DB, other J2EE application installed in this same configuration, and it works fine.
This is duty managed as of today. They required an enhancement request, which I submitted. SR 6696835.993 -

Currently an enhancement - it was logged as that but IMHO its a bug as other Oracle products work OK - it kinda depends on whether its an ORacle strd to work with webcache or not. Suffice to say, we are investigating the issue and will update the er/bug soon.

Javascript not working with web.show_document.

Hi,
I executed the below command from forms 10g and it is not working.
web.show_document('javascript:var win=showModalDialog("http://otn.oracle.com/products/forms");','_self');
But if I execute javascript:var win=showModalDialog("http://otn.oracle.com/products/forms"); directly in IE, then it is working.
Frank, can you help me in this or any other people having any idea ?

Thanks for your quick reply. Your question is right. I think let me explain clearly my requirement. I have an application accessed in the web. A internet user is trying to a report through the application by giving a parameter as "A". Now using the window.open method, the report is displayed in the IE browser. Now the user can go to history and can see the complete URL with parameters.
If he just copies and pastes that url from history in the browser, the reports runs successfully. If he changes any of the parameter to "B", there is a chance that report will show the report for parameter "B". This should not happen.
Hope this is clear. Let me know if you are not still clear. Moreover, in the IE it is possible to clear history, but for internet based applications, how can we set them.

Drop-down box does not work with Web GUI

-> see distorted pop-up

You wouldn't happen to be using Vista's Home Edition are you? I work from home and have Vista Home on one of my PC's and it has the same issue when I'm connected to 2004s systems. Vista Home isn't supported. Only Vista Prof. Oddly, if I'm using the same GUI to attach to 4.6C releases, I don't have this issue.

Certificate request not working with web server v2 template on windows 2012 R2

I have tried to generate a certificate request on my domain joined Windows 2012 R2. I have tried both online and offline requests. I am using the web server v2 template.
Both Method fails with error message that the cryptographic algorithm is unknown. I am using these settings apart from the template:

I am wondering if a cryptographic service provider or several of them are missing? They are installed With Windows update are they not? The strange thing is that this supposedly have worked before with another user. Could it be that I do not have the
correct permissions to request a certificate with this template, or has something happened with the server?

Windows 7 Clients Not Working With Web-Auth

I am using 5508 controllers, configured for WEB-AUTH passthrough, Windows XP clients work fine but Windows 7 clients are hit and miss getting redirected to the splash screen.
The login page is customised showing T's & C's with two buttons Except or Reject.
Do I need to Pre-Auth with ACL's? Has anyone had similar issues, or any good doc's etc.

Many thanks for your relpy, the problem is that this is a guest network that's also avalable to the public and I dont have any control over the end clients.
After doing a quick search on the net I found this.
NCSI : Uses a combination of DNS and/or HTTP look ups to tell if you are connected to the Internet. The way NCSI does this is either via a HTTP request for http://www.msftncsi.com/ncsi.txt or a DNS look up for dns.msftncsi.com that resovles to 131.107.255.255.
NCSI does this whether you are logged on or not.
Do I need to Create a Preauthentication ACL on the Guest WLAN interface:-

Web Report not working with parameter form

I have a report which has got a parameter form. This report is
running fine in client/server environment. But when I deploy the
same report on web (CGI) using PARAMFORM=YES, I am getting the
parameter form and after pressing the SUBMIT button I am getting
a blank report under the following two cases even though I have
data for that query:
CASE1: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="html">
then I am getting the report with no data retrieved.
CASE2: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="pdf">
then I am getting completely blank report (no logo, no column
titles, etc.)
See the HTML code below. Remember, the same thing is running
fine in client/server environment. Moreover, if I make a HTML-
coded form for the report then everything on the client's
browser is running fine. But this is not what we want, 'coz we
are running the "BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" trigger in the report.
So, should I conclude that web-reports does not work with the
parameter forms?? Is it a bug???

No pal, that's not the problem. The problem lies with the
"BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" report trigger on the web. Check this
out on ur report server and u will understand my problem.

Flash is not, and probably never will be, supported on the iPad : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/ . Plus it would be up to Adobe to make a version of their flash player that works on iOS devices - something which they have never managed to do and which they have now given up on trying to do.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter and Puffin 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so your could try checking there for your sites (and there is the built-in YouTube app).

Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1?

Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1 64, If i try and play a video I get the message to install Flashplayer.
If I try and install it it says it is already installed. Your onsite installer says it is not applicable to my machine.
I have followed all the normal steps re enabling addons and active filters etc.
all to no avail Pc is Dell 6 months old, Flashplayer has never worked on this machine. Last MS update mid Dec 2014.
Version of flashplayer is 15....03.......

Safari not working with Yosemite- incompatible with google search too

Ever since I upgraded my macbook pro, Safari has been slow. In the past 2 days, it's more than slow - it's impossible. I am able to get to pages I have bookmarked or get to links in email documents - but every time I try to do a search using the search bar in Safari, it hangs. Sometimes I get a list of possible websites (after a few minutes) but if I click on any of those, Safari just hangs there and won't go. I even had to use Chrome in order to generate this question in the discussion groups. Does anyone have any suggestions other than using an alternate browser. Is it possible that google and Safari on Yosemite are incompatible? I did try using the "Develop" menubar option and chose DuckDuckgo as the search tool and it worked a bit better.
This is now the 2nd big issue I've had with Yosemite -- it totally would not work with my Adobe Photoshop Elements program -- I spent hours on the Adobe forums and discovered that 100s of others were also having issues. It turned out to be a problem with Yosemite and the trackpad. Adobe finally came up with a temporary plugin that allows Elements (and other Adobe programs) to run.

Try a Safari reset.
Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test. Then try Safari/History/Show History and delete all history items. Quit/reopen Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History and Web Site Data. The down side is it clears all cookies.Doing this may cause some sites to no longer recognize your computer as one that has visited the web site.

Captivate 4 AS2 Text Entry Box not working with Flash Player 11

I am having issues with text entry boxes not working at all in flash 11. I am using Captivate 4 and exporting an AS2 swf. When you get to the slide you can type but you cannot see anything nor does the button or keystroke to move on. Also there is no cursor. Any ideas?

You said it is not working with Flash 11, so does that mean you tested with previous version and that worked?
While publishing choose Flash player as 9 and publish that, verify if that plays in a compatible web browser.
AS 2 is a legacy scripting, it has been said not too be supported with even Flash Player 10 --

I believe if you switch back to version 9 while publish your project, it should work.

LOVs not working in Webi Report for SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 Patch 3

I have developed reports and universes in SAP BO 4.0 SP 5 and i have migrated those reports to higher version of BO which is 4.1 SP2 Patch 3.
My universe is working fine with LOVs but when i run the webi report , the LOVs arent working.
have anyone facing the same issue. any idea why the LOVs arent working on higher version.?

The List of values we will assign in universe in order to get filtered data works on universe query panel
but the same objects when i am using in report(webi report) , the List of values are not working .i.e
they are not getting displayed in webi report.
for ex: i have country object having country names as LOVs and state objects having state names as LOVs . Now when i select Country value , the LOVs of state objects should get filtered and shows only states which belongs to country .
the above logic is not working in webi report , i am only able to select country and when i go for state, the state names do not get filtered.
please let me know why this is happening in the SP2 patch 3 version and its working fine for SP2 , but the chrome issue gets solved after applying patch 3 and not if we only upgrade to SP2.
the webi reports are not working in chrome browser if we using SAP B04.1 SP2 and lower version
but the LOVs are not working in SAP BO 4.1 SP 2 patch 1, 2,3.

Pretty self-explanatory - the Spring framework jars are missing from the classpath used in compilation.
If you don't have them, get them from www.springframework.org.

Not working with Internet Explorer?

Not sure y, but all of a sudden, a few days back, my website is not working with IE. I use Firefox and it works fine. Others I know can't view it and they click on something and it takes them to some Mac error page. Any thoughts on this? I had my wife even update her IE to 8 and restart her windows machine. nada! cheers!

I have website for my 7th Grade class. Over the weekend, I updated to iWeb'09. Today, when my students (using IE7 tried to access the site, I noticed loading pages takes much longer and the tech guy tells me that IE doesn't work with Mobile.Me.
