Idoc acknowledgments...HELP !!!!!

Hi,
We are hving a scenario as  below, NOTE : We have the pdf.." how to idoc acknowledgments" AND Still Stuck
              Confirmation                       aleaud
Sys A  <--
Sys B <--
*Sys C*
EDI Partner -
> XI -
> R/3
                          EDI                       IDOC(orders)
We need to send an acknoelledgment of the idoc posted in R/3 back to the EDI system..
I read the document "How to idoc ack"
We have set up the distribution model, with filters for only aleaud, Basis also did the ports/partner profile config ON SYSTEM C
We have run into a strange issue while trying to schedule the background job RBDState...!!!!!!!!!, We get a pop up.." No parties are interested in the data" or "No audit data found"..when we can see 100`s of Idoc`s..., We were told the parameters used to schedule the back ground job arent right...
This is my question Gurus...
As per the diagram above can someone help us correctly fill the params below, these need to be done in the System C as above..right..Please correct me..if wrong
1) Confirmation to System -
> ______________ to ____________________
2) Message Type -
> _____________ to _______________________
3) Message Code --> _______________ to ________________
4) Message Function ---> ______________ to ______________________
5) Data Idoc Changed ---> _____________to ___________________
Last but not the least...is there anything else we need to do So that when we post an idoc we get an aleaud..from the R/3 system...
Can someone who has done this please help..........

Hi,
Please check this

For IDOC, you could have ALEAUD as an acknowledgment IDOC.
Check this document on handling IDOC acknowledgements. This might give you some pointers.

have a look at the Alert Framework, which can be configured to send mails to specific persons if an interface processing fails.

There are two types of JDBC acknowledgements Transport level and application level.
IF the JDBC call is asynchronous you can set up for transport level acknowlegement in the send step in ur BPM.
if the JDBC call is synchronous then JDBC adaptor will generate a response message with a tag update count, which gives you the number of rows that were updated.

  • Problem in importing idoc? help needed

    Hi all,
I am trying the file-xi- idoc scenario.I have created logical system, port, pprofile, rfc destination( using XIAPPLUSER id and password) in respective
    sap system.
In sap xi side, using transaction idx1, created rfc destination to sap system and created a port.
In i.repository, when i tried to import the idoc type, i am getting the error like 'unable to establish connection to R/3 system'. I have defined the receiver sap system in SLD asboth technical and as well as business sytem.
    Any help???
    Rgds,
    SR.

    Hello SR,
There could be various reasons ... one of them could be your definition in the Integration Repository. Check if you have given correct server address & Group name etc on the screen where you create NameSpace. Also check that the user has sufficient authorization in the SAP system from where you are importing the IDoc schema.
Let me know how it goes.

    Homiar.

  • IDoc Acknowledgments

    Dear XI Experts,
I've read through all of the corresponding Idoc Ack. posts and the How To Guide but still can't figure out why my scenario just won't work.
I've set up a File -> XI -> Idoc scenario and want to receive an acknowledge back in XI and send this out via the Mail Adapter.
File conversion works, Idoc is received in the R/3 system, an ALEAUD Idoc is sent back to XI and references the original Idoc. The problem is, I keep on getting an error at "technical routing of response" within the processing of the Acknowledgement.
The sender of the ALEAUD is the R/3 system, which is correct, the sender interface though is "http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30">Acknowledgment which I've never created and which is also not present!
Also the receiver of the acknowledgement gives me a headache, as it's the original file sender business system, the receiver interface is as well "http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30">Acknowledgment. How can that be? I've even deleted all receiver and interface determinations regarding the inbound processing of the ALEAUD message.
Does anyone know where this mysterious Acknowledgment interface comes from and why there's a receiver and interface determination even though I didn't configure it?
    Thanks a lot!
    Michael

    Hi,
I think that the entry within IDX_ALEREQUEST does not have any effect on my Acknowledgments. What I expect is that after the entry within IDX_ALEREQUEST has been applied, all ALEAUD messages are treated as separate XI request messages. I can select the corresponding port of the sending system, the partner no. of the receiver is a wildcard, so it shouldn't matter what value I enter there, but this all has no effect on the acknowledgments...
Maybe it's because XI recognizes the sender/receiver interface as "Acknowledgment" (which I did not even create). But How do I get it to identify the ALEAUD Idocs as ALEAUD IDOCs?? The receiver namespace for example is automatically determined as http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30. Where does XI get this from?
Anyone any idea what I'm doing wrong?

  • Question w/ mapping header text fields from the ORDERS05 idoc - Need help!!

My mapping seems to be combining two header texts categories(IDs) and putting in into the XML target field. That's the first issue.
The 2nd issue is trying to figure out how to only use only a part of the tdline.
The idoc value is: <TDLINE>232828-0 06/25/2009 EDI Vendor Confirmed</TDLINE> .
I only want to use the first part: 232828-0 and ignore the rest(
    06/25/2009 EDI Vendor Confirmed).
Would someone have 30 mins to help a newbie out.
I can send screen shots of the idoc coming into PI and the XML file going out as well as my mapping for the field.
    Thanks,
    Jeff
    jschreiber@ballhort .com

    Jeff,
I have sent a test email pl send me screenshots.
Issue 2: Did you try to use standard function for texts i.e "substring". Open the mapping in editing mode and all the way down you  can see "Function" from where you can choose std functions.

  • HRMD_A IDoc Serialization Help

    Hi,
I have a client that wants to activate IDoc serialization for HRMD_A. They have a global system that sends HR master data to multiple regional systems, MDM and SRM.
The requirement is to serialize the IDocs for all regional systems, but not for MDM or SRM.
My understanding is that we would need to activate both outbound and inbound serialization through SALE->Modelling and Implementing Business Processes->Configure Predefined ALE Business Processes->Human Resources->Master Data Distribution->Serialize HR Master Data.
We would activate outbound in the global sending system, and inbound in each regional target system, but not in MDM or SRM.
By activating serialization, will it activate for HRMD_A only, or for HRMDA_ABA as well?
We would then need to make sure that the serialization counters are all initialized in both source and target systems. We can do this with transactions RE_RHALE_HRMDRGOUT and RE_RHALE_HRMDRGIN.
Please correct me if any of the above is incorrect?
Once serialization is activated, how will this effect the system? If for example an IDoc is sent with 100 objects, and one fails, then what status will the IDoc go into? Will all other objects process correctly? How would the error object affect subsequent IDocs?
What steps need to be taken in order to resolve the following potential IDoc errors:
    - Change for person xxxxxxxx extends too far into past
Delete IDoc? What to do with counters?
    - Object 01 ,z ,xxxxxxxx does not exist: infotype 1001 cannot be created.
Resend missing objects with PFAL and then reprocess IDoc?
    - Relationship starting from 01 y xxxxxxxx impossible u2013 01 w zzzzzzzz does not exist/is not active.
Resend missing objects with PFAL and then reprocess IDoc?
    - Personnel number xxxxxxxx is locked
Will this sort itself out, or do we need to manually reprocess the Idoc?
    - Payroll area yy is locked for master data maintenance.
Reprocess the IDoc after payroll areas is unlocked?
Thanks very much for your help

    Hi,
If change pointers are to be written for custom fields then the change document flag  at the domain level should be checked for that field. Then maintain an entry for this field in transaction BD52. Object name will be the same as the original fields. Changes to custom fields will be only picked if the change document for such fields is maintained in table BDCP.
    Try now!

  • Need IDoc Related Help

    Hi Folks,
I need an urgent help on IDOC issue for COR3 Transaction.
We have one legacy system from where data is coming for a particular Process Order. Now in Process Order display transaction COR3 when we go to Good Receipt Tab, and double click on batch, it displays the batch characteristics. Now Batch Detail's classification tab there are characteritics values. These characteristic values are suppose to store multiple values. We have changed in configuration.
Now when I execute the IDOC it stores only current value. It is kind of that it overwrites the previous value and keeps the new value in it's place and i want to retain all the values from the very beginning to the end. Please help me with the same.

  • IDOC Configuration Help

    hello,
i have just started learning concepts of IDOC and ALE.
And found some docuemnts for the same.
WE have 2 clients in our dev server. 700 & 600.
I want to test idoc concepts on these clients of same servers.
Firstly i checked logical systems on client 700.
    Have a look.
here 600 client is not shown but it exists in our system.
Moreover , 400 client is shown..but it does not exists in our system.
Here is the view of table T000
Please tell me...what this is all about.
Whether i need to create a new logical system or assign client to existing logical system
or nothing. In order to run idoc's?

    Hi Abhishek,
Refer the steps below and let me know if it helped.
ALE configuration normally involves the seven basic steps which are:
    1. Creating users for ALE Transfer
    2. Creating Logical system and assign the client
    3. Creating the RFC
    4. Configuring Distribution Model
    5. Configuring and checking the port
    6. Configuring and checking the partner profile
    7.  Creating the message type
The steps to configure and use it is mentioned below:
Notes: 105 is Sender and 800 Receiver System in the example below:
    1. Create Users for ALE transfer in both receiving and sending client/systems.
Create users in both the client/systems giving the same user name and proper authorizations. We need to use these user ids to logon through the remote connection and perform the IDOC transfers.
    2. Creating Logical Systems
o       Create logical systems for both sending and receiving systems in both systems.
o       Login to Client 105 (SENDER)
o       Go to T. Code SALE
o       Expand Sending and Receiving Systems
    o       Expand Logical Systems
o       Click on Define Logical System
    o       Click on New Entries
o       Create Logical Systems with naming convention 'system name'+'CLNT'+client no . For example for sending system ex: SSPCLNT105
o       Create Logical Systems with naming convention 'system name'+'CLNT'+client no ex: example for receiving system ex SEDCLNT800
    o       Save and come back
o       Click on Assign client 105 to Logical system SSPCLNT105
o       Now, logon to client 800, repeat the same above process to create logical systems SEDCLNT800 and SSPCLNT105
    o       Save and come back
o       Click on Assign client 800 to Logical system SEDCLNT800
    3. Creating the RFCs
    o       In client 105, Go to T. Code SM59
    o       Expand R/3 Connections
o       Enter RFC Name as SSPCLNT105 (give this name same as that of logical name created in step1 so that the ports are automatically created)
    o       Connection Type as 3
    o       Language as EN
o       Give the logon details for client 800 (usually, we create a new user with proper authorizations for this ALE data transfer)
o       Click on Remote logon button to test the RFC
o       Now, go to client 800 and repeat the same process to create the RFC connection to client 105, giving logon credentials to client 105
    4. Creating Customer Distribution Model
(we usually create this in the original system(sending system) and then distribute it to other systems. The actual creation of the model requests that you mention a technical name for the model (unique identifier in the systems landscape), a sender system, a receiver system and message types to exchange between those systems.)
    o In Client 105, Go to T. Code BD64
o       Click on change and Create model view button
o       Enter the short text and Technical name as ZSSP_SED
o       Select the model and click on Add Message Type Button,
o       Give the Sender as SSPCLNT105, Receiver as SEDCLNT800,
o       Give Message type as required, Ex: 'HRMD_A' for HR Module.(usually Message types given by SAP are available for a particular module, see this using tcode WE81, if not create a message type first)
o       Note: If we are performing this data transfer task for all modules at a Customer site, then we will need to use the appropriate message type and create a new Distribution model.
o       Select the above model view and click on Environment -> Generate Partner Profiles
o       Select Transfer IDOC Immediately and Trigger Immediately radio buttonsF
    o       Click on Execute
o       You should get a list in green color which means it executed successfully.
o       Back to main screen, select the model view
    o       Click Edit->Model view->Distribute
    o       Click on continue
o       You should get a list saying model view is distributed successfully.
    5. Checking the Port
    o       In client 105, Go to T. Code WE21
    o       Expand Transactional RFC
o       Find the port from the list which is created using BD64 for SEDCLNT800 (Receiving system) RFC Destination.
    6. Checking the Partner Profiles.
    o       In client 105, Go to T. Code WE20
    o       Expand Partner Type LS
o       Select the Partner profile SEDCLNT800
o       Double click on Message Type (For Ex: In HR Module, HRMD_A in Outbound parameters.)
o       Check Receiver Port is assigned correctly
o       Check the Basic type as your Basic IDOC object.
o       In the sending system, select the option to transfer IDOCs immediately.
o       By default, in the receiving system IDOCS are bunched together and received.
    7. Creating the Message Type
o       Message type defines the 'meaning' of data. It is just a logical entity that gets connected to the Idoc type (in tcode we82) or gets connected to the distribution model (in tcode BD64)
o       If necessary create a new message type. In client 105, go to tcode we81.
    o       Click on change, continue
o       Click on New Entries button
o      Give message type in customer namespace Z* and description
    o     Save and back
This should be helpful for ALE configurations.
    Thanks,
    Anupam

  • Sending Project as an idoc pls help!!

    Hi ,
I am working on Project Systems Module . Can anyone please tell me how to send a project from one R/3 SAP system to another ? Is there any standard program to send an project as an idoc ?? What is the procedure to send the project to antoher system.
    Thank you

    Hi Alisha,
Instead of using idoc use BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN.
However if u really wanna use Idoc then there is a message type called <b>project </b>however in the distribution model you will have to add bapi, object type and method.
This message type only helps you to transfer project data
like project definition and wbs elements ,in order to transfer the entire master data you will have to either create a custom Idoc or enhance the existing one.
    Hope this helps you.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vanita

  • File1-RFC-File2-IDOC design help

    Hi,
Here is the business requirement. Please help with design options.
There are two files(Business Partner.XML & Vendor.xml) on FTP server.
Pick up BP.XML file, call RFC(BAPI) to post the data in R/3(ECC).
If BAPI return code is success, then pick up 2nd file(Vendor.xml) and post corresponding record(vendor#) as the IDOC(CREMAS)  in R/3.
If BAPI retrun code is failed, then do not post the IDOC(corresponding record in 2nd file).
Both files has vendor number as the key field.
    <b>File1 & File2 may have upto 10 records in each file</b>.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Mallik,
You can have both the files processed at the same time using two different interfaces.
    1. File ->RFC and
    2. File ->IDOC.
Now for the IDOC in the receiver system, partner profile make sure that for the message type CREMAS, <i><b>the IDOC configuration is to be collected.</b></i>.
In the first scenario RFC, make sure that if the business partner posting have been done successfully then submit the program RBDMON00(t-code is BD87) with the IDOC type and IDOCs having the status 64.
    Cheers

  • Idoc Occurance help rquired.

    Hi Experts
mine is a file to Idoc scenerio.  The file I have has several equipmnet numbers . The occurance of the equipment in the source structure is 0:1 .
The target is an idoc structure, Idoc occurance is 0: 999999 and equipment occurance is 0.1 .
My requirement is , as different equipment numbers acn come in the source information, hw do i make , a single IDOC , at the target for each new equipment  in the source???
Is my question clear, please help me out with this, and revrt back if you have any queries!!
    Regards,
    Arnab.

    Hi Arnab,
as per my understanding, you have different equipment number under single equiment which is 0.1, and you need different IDOCs for different Equipment number, if this is the case, then you can map ur equipment number to the target IDOC using the node function "SPLITBYVALUE", and the property for this node function you have to choose "VALUECHANGE".
    equipment no   -
    > SPLITBYVALUE  -
    > IDOC
                                               (ValueChange)
which will create different IDOCs for each new equipment number.(If my assumption is not wrong)....

  • [LSMW][IDOC Method] Help with CLFMAS Classification issue please

    Hello Everybody,
    I'm using CLFMAS for classification, I need to have 3 caracteristics ( I'm talking about segment : E1AUSPM ), I mean for example :
    E1AUSPM-MSGFN = '009'
    E1AUSPM-ATNAM = 'Characteristic 1' (it's a hardcoded value)
    E1AUSPM-ATWRT = MyStrucutre - Field1
    E1AUSPM-MSGFN = '009'
    E1AUSPM-ATNAM = 'Characteristic 2' (it's a hardcoded value)
    E1AUSPM-ATWRT = MyStrucutre - Field2
    E1AUSPM-MSGFN = '009'
    E1AUSPM-ATNAM = 'Characteristic 3' (it's a hardcoded value)
    E1AUSPM-ATWRT = MyStrucutre - Field3
Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue. I'm thinking of using Transfer Record but I don't know how to do this exactly.
Thanks for any possible help you would give

I find the solution, hope it will help somebody else.
1 - In the ' Field mapping and conversion rules 'step, press CTRL+F7. In the popup shown, check ' Processing Times '.
    2 - You're gonna see 'begin_of_record' and 'end_of_record' instructions in each segment.
3 - Choose the segment you want to duplicate
4 - Assign Characteristic1 and MyStructure-Field1 to the corresponding fields.
5 - In the end_of_record instruction, add the following lines :
    E1AUSPM-ATNAM = 'CHARACTERISTIC 2'.
    E1AUSPM-ATWRT = MyStructure-Field2.
    transfer_record.
    E1AUSPM-ATNAM = 'CHARACTERISTIC 3'.
    E1AUSPM-ATWRT = MyStructure-Field3.
    transfer_record.
NB : E1AUSPM is the name of the segment I want to duplicate.
MyStructure is the name of the source structure I use.
Field1 and Field2 are the source fields I want to map with the field ATWRT of E1AUSPM segment.
If you don't get something, I'm here to help.
