IDOC (create .ido file)

Hi all:
I manage inbound and outbound IDOCs procces and its run propertly. Now, I have to create an .ido file from an inbound IDOCs . Can anyone help me?.
I'd create an documentation file trought WE64 and gave it to external system, but they reclamin me an .ido file.

It's not the solution. I want an description of the layout of an idoc in a specific format. In this case an *.ido format. I have an conversion program (TIE portal) where i have to import it for interfacing.

IDocs not created in file to IDoc scenario

Hi all
I am trying this file to IDoc scenario.
File picked up successfully and sent to R/3 BackendBut Idoc is not postedthe status records
In /n we05 in R/3 Backend shows that EDI: Partner profile inbound not available
I created/tested all basics like RFC dest, port etc.
File service that I am using is a business service hence I am specifying a Logical system name in
Adapter specific Identifiers of the file service.
I disabled EDI_DC40 control tag record as IDoc adapter
takes care of it.
So at first I tried the configuration of IDoc comm. Channel by checking the Apply control record values from payload
But SXMB monitor gave an error regarding this control record tagI guess as we have disabled it so there wont be any values
for control record in payload (correct me if I am wrong).
So I unchecked the checkbox Apply control record values from payload and monitor showed up as successfully processed.
But in the backend I am getting this error regarding partner profile.
I also tried to use an existing profile (LS type) by modifying its inbound parameters to accept CREMAS Idoc.
But the error is as persistent as me

Custom IDOC to create XML file

Hi,
We are on 4.7 release.
A custom outbound IDOC type is developed to creates a text file at the location entered in FILE type port.
Now we want to create XML file intead of text file. Is it possible by simply changing the port to XML FILE port? Or do we need to do any modifications inside the FMs for the IDOC?
Similarly for Inbound scenario (using custom IDOC type), do we need any chagnes in FMs to handle IDOCS in XML file format?

You can even do that conversion of idoc to xml by simple method
create a xml port and use the standard fm there
and it wud handle that.

How to create Inbound Idoc from XML file-Need help urgently

Hi,
can any one tell how to create inbound Idoc from XML file.
we have xml file in application server Ex. /usr/INT/SMS/PAYTEXT.xml' we want to generate inbound idoc from this file.we are successfully able to generate outbound XML file from outbound Idoc by using the XML port. But not able to generate idoc from XML file by using we19 or we16.
Please let me know the process to trigger inbound Idoc with out using XI and any other components.

Hi .. Did either of you get a result on this?
My question is the same really .. I am testing with WE19 and it seems SAP cannot accept an XML inbound file as standard.
I see lots of mention of using a Function Module.
Am I correct in saying therefore that ABAP development is required to create a program to run the FM and process the idoc?
Or is there something tht can be done with Standard SAP?

Hi Experts,
I am new to the PI. I am using PI 7.1. I am doing one scenario which is IDOC to file using FCC. I have devloped this interface. In Target side each idoc creats a unique file.
But my output file should be, Each batch of IDocs that PI processes must create one file. with date and time as part of the filename.
Could you please help me how to crete a file like this.

I have an Idoc to file scenario. Target side I am using FCC. The issue is only on file name which is creats by PI on target system The file name should have name along with only date. The output file name should be same with date. All coming files should be appended in that file itself. For making an history, each day I should maintain one file (Name along with date), Coming all files should append in that file itself. I will have one file per day. If it already exists, it will be appended to. Please help me on this

I am using SARA transaction for Archiving IDoc, but I need to execute and eliminate recods without create a file. In R3 version we have this option in RSEXARCA, but in ECC 6.0 not.
How to execute it?
Some one have the same problem?
Do you have any documentation about Archiving in Ecc 60.0?

WE19 IDOC test tool in reverse to create a file

Is there a way to use WE19 to "create" a file from an existing IDOC?

I have an inbound order IDOC viewable in WE05.
I want to load it into WE19. No problem, I know how to do that.
Then, I want to save it on my app server as a plain ASCII file. In other words, a file that would look like one sent from an external system.
Does that help explain it?

I want to create Scheduling Agreement from idoc using XML file means i am receiving XML file and i want to convert this XML file into IDOC and finally process this IDOC to craete scheduling agreement.

Hi,
You are receiving XML file and you want that to converted into the IDOC and inturn to be processed in your system, for this you need to create an XML port and you need to read the file from that port then an IDOC will be created. Create an XML file port in WE21 transaction and then goto WE16 transaction and you can use that transaction to upload a file as an IDOC into the SAP system.
Once the IDOC is created rest of the activity is same.

IDOC writing to file takes a while.

Hello, I would like to request if anyone can advice how can we analyze why the creation or writing of an IDOC to a file takes a long while, say it takes 15 minutes to be created. Wherein in production system, it only take 1 or 2.

Yes, actually that is the problem. In an example idoc, below is the technical info for the idoc, it took 15 minutes to create the file.

Doubts in SAP(Idoc)-XI-Flat file scenario

Dear All,
I am sending Delivery Idoc from R/3 and I am able to view the Idoc in XI in transaction IDX5. Also i m able to see the XML structure with the data of the idoc in SXMB_MONI.
Now as per my scenario I have to download this to a flat file from XI.
My question is, should I have to do the creation of Data types, message types, mapping interface & interface mapping in IR or should I directly do the designing in the ID.

DT, MT, MI : you will create these things for receiver flat file only.
First create
In Integration Repository :
1.     Import structure of IDOC in your scenario, In imported objects  IDOCs
              a.     In Interface Objects
1.     Create Data type for your flat file
2.     Create Message Type
3.     Create Message Interface (inbound Asy.)
              b.     In Mapping Objects
1.     Message Mapping : IDOC to Message Type of Flat File.
2.     Create Interface Mapping : IDOC to Flat file by using Message Mapping which you have created.
Make activate all these things.
In Integration Directory :
1.     Create Communication channel for File Receiver.
2.     Sender Communication channel is not required.
3.     Create Receiver Agreement.
4.     Sender Agreement is not required.
5.     Interface Determination
6.     Receiver Determination
At sender side you will take your IDoc and at receiver side you will take your flat file.

Hi Manish
We are using a standard IDOC called PROACT.PROACT01
(We are using transaction sa38(Report RSMIPROACT) in R/3 to send our IDOC.)
First we create the technical and business systems in SLD
Second we transfer these to the repository.(I think the only thing you need to do is to update the SLD cache to get them there - Design : Integration builder --> Environment --> clear SLD cache)
Then we just use the configuration wizard(Configuration : Integration builder --> Tools --> configuration wizard) to map everything together - defining sender and receiver etc(You get the configuration wizard tool by patching XI to patch level 4 or 5).
I assume that you have made all the configurations accordingly to the XI configuration guide which you can download from the service marketplace.
This is just a hint but maybe it can give you a start.

Error in IDOC(ALEAUD) to file Scenario

Hi ..
we have a client requirment were they want the ALEAUD acknowledgement in the form of file.
So we are creating a IDOC to file scenario, where IDOC is ALEAUD which is mapped to create a file in the traget system. but when we post the IDoc we get thwe following error.
*Note: have a small doubt. Can we use ALEAUD Idoc as a normal IDoc to File Scenario. because with the documents i understand that ALEAUD is a acknowledgment IDoc which is generated based on the request IDOC. but in our scenario we are manually using the structure of ALEAUD in the source system*

Hello,
If you need to send the ALEADUIT back to the SAP system if the file returns a successful ack, then you will need to have a BPM with a separate SEND step to send back the ALEAUDIT.

Idoc to flat file using Integration process does not show up at all

Hello All,
I created a scenario IDOC to Flat File using Integration Process and one without IntegrationProcess. I am able to execute the one without Integration Process easily.
However when I send the IDOC from SAP then the Integration Process scenario just does not work.
I Checked SXMB_MONI There is no entry for the Integration Process.I can see entry for other without Integration Process.
SXI_CACHE : I can see my Integration Process active
SWEQADM : I have activated the Event Queue and Background job
SWF_XI_ADM_BPE : ALL BPE is showing green status.
All syntax check on IP are fine.
There is no Basis Help for me so there could be some additional basis steps which need to be configured. Has anyone faced such an issue with Integration Process?

Hope this might help you. when u configure an IDoc as Sender with BPM this is how you proceed.
1. let us split the scenario into two.
a. Sender to BPM ( Integration Process).
b. BPM to Receiver.
2. First let us configure the first Sender to BPM.
a. Sender Agreement( Not required ).
b. Receiver Agreement( NOT Required).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service, Outbound Interface, Receiver Service(Integration Process).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface(Sender Abstract Interface), Message Mapping(NOT Required if your using transformation stepin Integration Process)).
3. Now let us configure the Second BPM to Receiver.
a. Sender Agreement( NOT Required)
b. Receiver Agreement( Sender Service(Integration process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver service, Inbound Interface).
c. Receiver Determination( Sender Service(Integration Process), Receiver Abstarct Interface,Receiver Service).
d. Interface Determination( Inbound Interface, Message Mapping(NOT Required)).
So Finally we have One Receiver Agreement, Two Receiver Determinations, Two Interface Determinations.

Idoc to flat file conversion: problem with mapping

Dear experts,
I have the following scenario: SAP (idoc) -> XI -> 3rd party
The idoc has s structure like this:
. ZSCX001 (idoc name)
... IDOC
..... ORDERHEADER

......... DELIVERY LINE
......... DELIVERY LINE
..... ORDERHEADER
....... ORDERLINE
......... DELIVERY LINE
......... DELIVERY LINE
etc
The flat file has this structure:
. FILENAME
... RECORD
..... FIELD1
..... FIELD2
... RECORD
..... FIELD1
..... FIELD2
etc
Now, per IDOC I need to create 1 file. For each delivery-line in the IDOC I need to create 1 record in the outputfile (flat file).
In message mappings, I did the following:
- messages-tab: Occurrence of the Idoc and inbound message type for flatfile: both 1
- design-tab: I linked IDOC to the FILENAME (so for each Idoc I create 1 flat file)
- design-tab: I linked the tag "Delivery line" to "RECORD" (I expected 1 record per delivery line)
When I test it, I only get 1 resulting record in the flat file, even if I test with 3 ORDERHEADER->ORDERLINE->DELIVERY LINE segments.
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

First make sure occurence of Record is 0..unbounded.
Second use the blow mapping rule..
Delivery line --->RemoveContext ---> RECORD

Idoc to flat file mapping using XSLT

i am using XSLT mapping. my requirement is mapping between idoc and flat file(xml to text). as i do not want to use FCC, i have opted for xslt mapping. please let me know any article which would be helpful for this.

Two things:
1. Achieving this functionality using XSLT is very difficult.
2. Secondly you may not be able to find a direct document to convert IDoc-XML to flat file using XSLT in sdn. Try google.
