Idoc errors in supporting side

Hi,
can any one xplain what idoc errors will occur while doing in supporting side and xplain hw to rectify that errors?

Mostly the one issue will be Idoc hanging - Goto BD87 and process it manually...
Solution:
To identify the Idoc ie hanging - Right click on the Particular Load event in the process chain, Select Display Messages --> Processing tab --> Process monitor. A new window containing the load status details will be opened. Select the DETAILS tab, and Navigate into
Overall status--> Transfer (IDocs and TRFC). List of Idoc transfer between the Source and target system would be listed here.
Place the cursor on each line, the details of the idoc transfer would be listed at the bottom of the screen. The detail of Idoc transfer shows that idoc number. Idoc Status 03 - represents that the Idoc has been successfully sent by a system and Idoc status 53 denotes that it has successfully received.
In case of an issue, the Idoc number , the status in which its hanging and the system in which its hanging can be found.

IDoc error on outbound side

Hi.
I'm setting up a communication with (JMS adapter -> XI -> IDoc adapter).
No w to the problem. When we send the message with the IDoc adapter we get the following error.
Message has error status on outbd. side
We can see this message when I put my cursor over the red flag in the outbound status column in SXMB_MONI.
I do not think there's anything wrong with the adapter because we are using it to send an other IDoc and that IDoc gets processed correctly to the target system.
What can cause the error on the that I get above?

go to details of that transaction and check the error that caused idoc in outbound status failure...
an error tab can be seen in the outbound binding pipeline entry of that transaction and check the error caiused that

am working on JMS-->IDoc, where TIBCO sends MBGMCR01 IDoc to ECC through XI .
in SXMB_MONI : shows red flag in outbound:with the message as 'Message has error at outbound side'.

Message has Error Status Outbound Side

Hi All,
I have one question.... we procssed one file from ftp it should creates Idocs in R/3 side we developed this scenario using BPM....it processed successfully inbound side but in Outbound side it is showing Red Flag (Error Meaase : Message has Error Status Outbound Side) and its not creating IDOCs in R/3 Side but in Process engine all steps completed Sucessfully and created Idocs in XI....i tried so many ways...like in Queues and Refreshed Cache and checked RFC connection in Both ways and checked passwords in communication channels.... i could't find any this....if any body help me on this....it would be appritiated.
This was i am testing on Test system i got this type of problem but in Development box it is working successfully we are using the same fuctionality and same code also i don't know why its happening.

SXMB_MONI - Message has error on outbd. side

Hello,
We have occurences when interfaces appear to be successful in the SXMB_MONI monitor for processed xml messages. The status flag = successfull. But there is a column just in front of "Message ID" that also has another status flag.
When this flag is red and you hover over it, it shows the following "Message has error on outbd. side". How can we locate a corresponding log and get some more detail behind this message? We cannot seem to connect the dots between this red flag and a corresponding log entry to give us details of the problem.
When it says "outbound", which system should we be examining (PI or the receiving system)?

Hi,
Select the Messge in MONI and MenugotoOutbound Channel monitor
Double Click on the Idoc Number, this will take you to SM58 Screen
Here you can be able to seee the reason why it got errored out at Outbound Side.
Now in SM58Edit-Execute LUWs
Selection screen will appear and here select all the check boxes irrespective of any Error and select the date that when these message got into Error state and all.
And Now Execute that either in Foreground or in Background
This will execute all the Errored messages at Outbound side will process and the Idocs will reach to R/3

Message has error on outbound side in sxmb_moni

Dear All,
I have a query related to sxmb_moni messages.
Scenario : FILE - XI - IDOC
In sxmb_moni, message is successfully processed by XI but it is showing error " message has error on outbound side".
My questions are:
1)Is it possible to restart the message . When I tried to restart the sucessful message with error on outbound side it showed me message " You cannot restart xml message".
2)I tried to analyze error for outbound side using SM58, it showed me message "No connection to database,session terminated" .
Can anyone please advice what could be the reason for this .

Hi Prabhat,
the message was send to the IDoc adapter. The error occures there.
Control, if the send XML can be translated to IDocs (use a message mapping).
Control, if the SM59 destination to R/3 is working.
Conrol, if the communication channel is customized in the right way. Control, if the port is customized (transaction IDX1).
Also the metadata for that IDoc should be in IDX2, that should happen automaticly, if not, assumedly the destination is not working.

Inbound IDOC error :51 Passed with out Message Type to ALE Layer

Hi,
I am struct wtih the inbound IDOC scenario ..XI able to send IDOC but at ECC side it is in 51 red status and the error message is
"IDOC passed without Message type to ALE Layer"
Do I need to pass these segment values in Message Mapping? I didnt mapped any MESTYP,SNDPOR,SNDPRT and so on.. disabled these fields...
Could any one light on this issue?

IDOC error while receiving

Hi Friends,
In my scenario, I have to receive P.O. message from partner in to my R/3 system.
I am using PI 7.1
When partner is sending me message I am getting error , "Only asynchronous processing supported for IDoc adapter outbound processg" in SXMB_MONI
I tried to find solution on sdn, and I got 2 related foroum,
Idoc Error
Re: No receiver could be determined. (File to Idoc)
But from this also I am not sure hw can i solve this error.
Please Suggest.

For Error Only asynchronous processing supported for IDoc adapter outbound
IDOC adapter support asynchronous only,
Check Quality of Service in your sender adapter. Should be EO or EOIO, not BE.
This thread had same problem and resolved :

In Your case QOS is BE. Plz check in your CC if and BE is by default..
If you use BE, HTTP expects a Response back and as IDOC does not support BE, you go the earlier error.

HI . i want to learn idoc error handling on sap xi side because my current project is in PRODUCTION They implemented lot of idocs so is there any documents(guides ) regarding error handling of idocs for both sender and receiver side.

HI,
ODS : has overrite functioanlity where info cube has additive fucntioanlity.
So, every time we shud recommend ODS in between datasource and Infocube.
Another imp point is , if the datasource is not supporting delta fucntionality, how do we handle the situation? right.
So use ODS, from the datasource load the data till ODS and as ODS contains changelog with 0recordmode with before and after images, we can perform the delta functinality to the Cube.
Ticket procedure:
See, we have third party ticketing tools like Gremedy, clarify, lotus notes etc.
Ticket means- defect or issue in the data or application or technical object.
So user raises the ticket and it wil assigned to concerned technical resource by the helpdesk and based on the priority of the issue, technical peopel should resolve the issue or ticket with in the SLA(Service level aggrerment).
Views : View is nothing but a image of the tables.
So we can call up multiple tables in a view for generic extraction.

Error in generating SID for 0Requid (187.98)

Hi All,
We have transported requests into the Quality and when iam trying to run the infopackage for master data through flat file, it pops up this erro msg which says "Error in generating SID for 0REQUID (187.98)".
This is the case with all master data infopackages.
Also in the quality system, when i change the path for flat file assignment in infopackage and click on save, it pops up for a request. As far as i know it should not ask for a requst in Quality system
Please guide me to resolve this as soon as possible.

go to RSRQ and give the request ID and execute...it gives the load monitor...
chk the load to which it belongs to either master or transaction...
if it belongs to master...then try to find the object to which it was loaded...and schedule the change run for the same object....

Error when assigning SID while uploading text in the info-object of the DSO

I have a scenario where I need to extract a char 60 field from R/3 in the DSO.
I have created the info-object which is char 60 which has the master data text activated.
In the DSO transformation I have mapped it to the R/3 field.
While activating the data in DSO its giving the error message
'Value '20 per action plan' (hex. '32302070657220616374696F6E20706C616E') of characteristic'
'Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT InfoObject ZRMSD '
How to overcome this issue.

Change the InfoObject for this text so that it will allow lowercase letters. To do this, go into Change mode on the InfoObject, go to the General tab, check the Lowercase letters checkbox and activate the InfoObject. After this has been activated, you can then restart your process and this SID violation error should no longer be thrown for this.
If you don't want to do this, then you can use the TOUPPER formula in the Characteristic Routine, in the Transformation, to change the value of this field contents to uppercase. This can also be done by using an ABAP routine like this:
TRANSLATE column TO UPPER CASE.

Crystal Reports 2008 Formula in Cross-Tab Error Not Supported

I have a crosstab that was created in Crystal XI and when I opened the report in Crystal 2008 I receive an Error "Not Supported" when I removed the fromula that was in the Crosstab the report displayed. The following is the formula that is within the crosstab:

As I mentioned the formula works perfectly in Crystal XI but not Crystal 2008 which no sese at all. We are preparing to migrate from Crystal XI to Crystal 2008 and if this is an issue we may need to but upgrading off.
Any help with this would be gratly appreciated.
