IDOC -- File:(R/3-- XI) : Idocs not reaching XI. Where to check for error

Hi,
I have completed the config for IDOC to XI (R/3-->XI) scenario based on various weblogs available on Sdn.
For testing, I am using we19 to trigger the outbound idoc from R/3. But when I look in IDX5 in XI or message monitor, I do not see any message or IDOC there. Even SXMB_MONI in XI does not have any message.
What could be the potential issue for this behaviour. Is there a way where I could debug or any steps that could tell me where to look for the error.
So far only odd behaviour I have observed is:
When in WE19 I trigger the IDOC for outbound processing, XI login screen pops up, where I need to enter password. Once I click enter the screen disappears and the message, IDOC sucessfully sent to external system/Port appears.

Hi,
I checked SM58 and teher indeed are errors saying
"Name or Password is incorrect (repeat logon) "
So which connection is having incorrect password in SM59?
I checked and I have a working RFC connection (TYpe 3) in SM59 for XI.
Just to add TCP/IP connection(Type T) has 2 connections not working. They are LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI.
So what should be my next step in correcting this error as I am not sure which RFC connection user-id is responsible for SM58 errors.
Any feedback is welcome.

What I want to do is somehow make my entire iMovie project smaller by compressing it somehow but without losing any footage or audio or quality. At the moment the project is a 56GB iMovie project lasting approx 1hr. I have a mixture of miniDV footage, titles created in Live Type (they are better quality than anything available in iMovie) and audio.
The miniDV footage is automatically compressed when it transfers from my camcorder to my Mac, no worries there.
The LiveType titles contain a motion background (imported into LT) and then text which appears and disappears at set points. The titles vary in length but are about 5 seconds each.
The file size for the LT titles is approx 180MB per clip, the movie requires about 20 or so of these clips, making a very large file size overall.
Is there a way that I can save something in LT so that the file size is smaller yet still keep the quality and use the clip in my iMovie ?

Travel Expenses not reaching to the superiors UWL for approval

When an employee creates a Travel Expenes on approve Travel Request, the Travel Expenes does not reach to his superiors Inbox for approval.
As well as while checking in SAP R3, via Tcode - swia, the said Travel Expenses not appearing in the list.

FlexBuilder not checking for errors in AS files

FlexBuilder 2 isn't finding any errors in AS files that
aren't explicitly referenced in an MXML file for anyone in my
office. This seems like a pretty basic function everyone needs, so
I can't imagine it's not a huge bug....
To be more specific, I have a flex project set up with two
files in the root named SimpleTest.as and test.mxml. If test.mxml
is empty, I can write absolutely anything into the .as file and
flex builder won't locate any errors in real time. As soon as I
instantiate an instance of SimpleTest in my mxml file, however,
flex builder suddenly reports all of the problems in the problems
view, and we're good to go.
This is a huge pain from a development standpoint - I don't
want to have to keep an instantiation of a class just to find if
there are any errors in it. And if I'm not able to find errors in
real/development time, FlexBuilder becomes a glorified text editor
with the only real useful AS feature being code hints.
If the project is an ActionScript project instead of a Flex
project, flex builder will detect errors on AS files if they're in
the root package, but files nested in folders aren't checked for
errors unless an instance of the class exists in another
root-package object.
Is there anything we can do to fix this? Is anyone else
seeing this error?

Sorry guys, but the way Flex ignores unreferenced .as files
is just plain wrong, and it's also inconsistent. There... thats the
synopsis of this post, now the explanation.
In our app, we want to have a list of menu items that are
read in from the database. Each item consists of the man-readable
text and the name of a class that is normally derived from
TextWindow. The user clicks on a menuitem and the window appears.
Flex provides the function flash.utils.getDefinitionByName()
which will return the class definition for the given class name
supplied as a string. But it will only work if the class is loaded
i.e it has been referenced somewhere. To get around this, I have
had to create my own map of class names to class definitions. In
other words, I've had to rewrite getDefinitionByName.

Hmmm...I'm using 1Password Version 3.8.20 (build 31499) with a fresh install (scrape and pave) of Mt. Lion on my iMac and it's working fine.
I use Dropbox to sync 1Password so for my fresh install I simply downloaded 1Password from Agilbits website and installed it.
Have you tried reinstalling 1Password? Depending on how you purchased it, download it from their website or from the Mac App store to reinstall/replace it. (IIRC v3.8.x comes directly from Agilbits and v3.9 from the Mac App store.) You shouldn't have to uninstall it, the new download should overwrite the existing copy.
As with anything else, be sure to run a backup first!

File not reached ftp : How to handle the error

Hi,
I am doing idoc-file scenario. I need to place file on ftp server. Now if i give incorrect ftp details, the error canot be seen in SXI_MONITOR but in Adapterframework i can see the error.
Can someone please let me know how this exception can be handled. I need to send mail notification notifying such errors.

Hi Vani,
XI has 2 basic engines, the Integration Engine and Adapter Engine running inside the J2EE engine.
The reason that you can see the error in Adapter but not in SXMB_MONI is that the processing of your Integration Engine has no errors in it.
But, when the Adapter is trying to post the file into the Destination System, it errors out and so, the error in the Adapter Framework.
Errors in the Adapter Engine can also be used to trigger alerts and send email.
To create Alerts, Alert Rule, just check this blog,

It will help you in doing your entire Alert Configuration.
Next,from SP14 onwards, activation of end to end monitoring is not needed for Alerting. Refer to this note 870232 for this info.
Next, to test if your Alerts have been defined correctly, go to SE38. In the program , type RSALERTTEST and then click on EXECUTE button ( F8 ). In the next window, it will ask you for your ALERTCATEGORY. Just give the name of your ALERT CATEGORY and click EXECUTE.
If you have configured your alerts correctly, you will receive a message that tells ALERT IS GENERATED and will give the ALERT ID.
Now, go to your Run TIme workbench and then select ALERT INBOX and see if you have got the ALERT message in your ALERT INBOX.
If this is working fine, then the last step, implement the note 913858.

Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 and App Store not notifying about or automatically checking for updates event though all settings are correct

Seems as though the automatic updates is not working. I have checked the boxes and unchecked them as well. Still no auto updating for the OS. They do work for my apps though. Attached is a command shell screen shot.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Not the normal "unable to check for available downloads"

This is my problem: I had my iTunes running for about a week now, during which i have purchased passes and music. These are the regular items that would be updated daily. The thing is i have not been able to get iTunes to get the updates(there have have been an outstanding of 10 of these) and i have not been able to download my music either... It's not a firewall problem because i still can download and receive podcast. I have check automatic settings as well as attempting manual updating, neither works providing "Unable to check for available downloads." I attempt downloading the updates through the email links... which shows that i have updates but when loaded the iTunes nothing happens. This is ongoing for the past 48+ hours.... Please help?

I have the same problem, going on five days and 8 backed-up downloads.
I contacted them and they have not been able to help me even though they've tried.
I am pretty much 99% sure it's not my computer/internet/firewall that is the problem. I didn't change anything and this suddenly happened.
msconfig showed no conflicts and diagnostics ran clean.
I am very frustrated.
I have checked elsewhere and one online forum said that a digital booklet might be holding up the queue. Have customer service delete it and reinstate it to the back of your queue. I don't think I have a booklet downloading (I'm really not sure) but I DO know SOMETHING is holding my DLs up. I'll edit this again to let you know if that was the problem. I just sent them another message.

Yahoo Mail not being downloaded, never stops "Checking for Mail"

Since the first time I synced since the new itunes version and the 1.0.1 update, I have not received any mail populating into my Yahoo account. I tried the restart, shutting off the other email accounts, etc.
I does not push, and when I try the Refresh, it never stops "Checking for Mail".
My gmail works fine.
Anyone have any ideas to correct?

Same here but a little stranger. Two items:
(1) If I go into my Yahoo Drafts, or Sent, or Trash, check mail works fast and I get the "Updated 8/26/07 time" message fine and it's accurate.
If I switch to Yahoo In, the initial footer says "Updated 8/14/07 xxx" and has said that for a week or so. It quickly changes to "Checking for Mail" and then never stops.
Anyone else see the "Checking for Mail" only on the IN box but not the others.
(2) I have been sending test emails to Yahoo (basic account). #1 happens as above (ie no mail seems to arrive). But if I scroll to the bottom of the IN box and click "Load 25 more messages", it does seem to pick up the new messages. "Checking for Mail" is still going strong. This seems to work most of the time.
Anyway. Not sure it this may help anyone figure this out.

Compile Forms on a Unix Machine (check for errors in any of the files)

Our organization is wrapping up the development phase and beginning our testing phase. I am responsible for the Configuration Management of our forms, menus, libraries, and reports.
We develop our code in a Windows environment (including compilation check), then we FTP the source files to a unix environment, then we compile the forms on a unix environment. We have this process down pretty well (for a couple of files at a time).
Now we would like to automate our "build" procedure. This process involves the following tasks.
1.) Extract all the source files from our vault software (PVCS)
2.) FTP all the source files to the UNIX environment
3.) Compile all the source files on the UNIX environment
4.) Test the Software on the UNIX application server
We have all of the above working (if no compilation errors occur). I am not sure how to check if any of the files errored during compilation. How can I check to see if any errors occurred during the UNIX source code compilation? I know how to do this manually (look at the output and see if the module compiled), but we are compiling approximately 200 files during our release build process. Maybe some sort of send the compilation results to an output file then search for any files that contain "not generated" (I assume if an error is generated, the text will be displayed to the user).
Is there an easy way to check if any of the forms, menus, libraries, or reports errored during the "automatic" compilation process?

I use this script to generate .fmx files from a zipped .fmb file. This approach allows for much faster FTP because our developers are not co-located with our servers.

I have the newest version of iTunes, and I cann open iTunes but I can't open the iTunes store, I click on it and then it says "iTunes is not working. Windows is checking for a solution" and then it closes.

This happened to me after the last iTunes upgrade. The solution for my problem was to completely uninstall and reinstall my security software PC Tools Spyware Doctor with Antivirus) Just disabling it did not work.

IDOC File target - file not getting created

I am using Realtime job for sending idoc from data services to sap. I am using idoc message as source, query and idoc file as target transform in the data flow. I have following settings in IDOC file as target
Idoc file : /tmp/costcentertest.txt
Idoc type: COSMAS01
Data store name: DS_SAP
Application server: saptest
When i send the idoc I can load the data into table or create the file in /tmp directory. After changing target to idoc file and entering the above settings i don't see any file getting created. I do see idoc was received from we05 and also show green in data management console.
I was checking if i have to change something or missing some steps.

Check whether the order qty field is there in flat file or not. Second if the data is there then it is getting uploaded
in read the file or not. Subsequently in converted data . When the mapping is correct and data is getting populated
in read file and converted file it will get uploaded. Hope it will help you.

We have cloned SAP-PI 7.0 server and SAP-ISU server. Now idocs from from SAP-ISU is not reaching SAPI-PI at all.
