  • Idoc for stock level info?

    Dear EDI Experts,
we are looking for a solution for the following issue:
An external system (Mobile solution) shall get plant/stock info from SAP ERP.
    Process:
    1.Plant/Slocation is NOT empty, e.g. Material 1100 -> 100 PC
    2. Stock is posted to Pant/Sloc, e.g. Material 1110 -> 50 PC + Mat. 1200 -> 80 PC
For the stock movement idocs can be generated BUT we need ALL stock of Plant/Sloc in idoc
    -> 100 PC of 1100
    -> 50 PC of 1110
    -> 80 PC of 1200
As far as I know NO standard IDOC type exists which offers to transfer such info.
I came across the LOISM001 (to be triggered via transaction POIT) idoc which may meet the requirments. BUT it creates an idoc per material.
    Questions:
    1. LOISM001: Is there any chance to combine all materials of a plant/storage location to ONE idoc?
    2. Any other idoc type suitable and how to trigger automatically?
    Many thanks
    Regards

  • Not automatically accessing  Gracenote for track info - but it WAS!

Hope that someone can help me. I have a new MB with Leopard 10.5.2
I have been ripping music and up to tonight it was automatically getting track names. I have not done anything or changed anything - I was in the middle of a ripping session and then for no reason, it was not accessing Gracenotes for the track info. Sure I can do it manually but that is a real pain - especially when it WAS working perfectly and no other app was in use, only iTunes.
Itunes prefs, says that it is checked to automatically get the track info, I have done restart, repair permissions, quit, restart - all to no avail.
Any suggestions please woul dbe most welcome!

    Hi All,
I was also experiencing this problem so I emailed the Gracenotes support ([email protected]) and advised them that myself and multiple others were experiencing this problem. Here is the reply:

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
    Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

  • Editing/adding track info for tv shows and movies in iTunes 12.1 for Mac.  Does anyone know how to do this?

    iTunes 12.1.0.50
    late 2012 iMac running OS X 10.10.2
I can no longer edit or add the track information for tv shows and movies.  If, for example, there are 26 episodes of a tv show in a season and I want to edit their entries in iTunes to reflect 1 of 26, 2 of 26, 3 of 26, and so on, how do I do that?  With the 12.1 update, they took away the old info box.  Very irritating.

    JNLong2811 wrote:
The use of the right clicking while holding down the Option key for the "old" info box worked through iTunes 12, but when 12.1 came out, that option went away.
So edit the info with a proper tag editor (before you even add it to iTunes).
Use -> MetaZ and/or -> Subler to edit movies/TV shows.

  • Any recovery for track info lost in restoration?

My prayer is to gain back track info for my desecrated music collection. It was once quite respectable. While traveling in Asia, Macbook was caught in endless cycle of 'logging in' - brought him to nearest authorized dealer and backed up files. Thousands of tracks were lost when they (a) could not be backed up, or (b) would not transfer from backup. Hundreds more were stripped of their track information. ITunes spent hours "processing gapless playback information" (whereby it regained some of the lost labels) before it froze once more. The shop responded by restoring the system -again- at which point several more albums were lost. Since then, iTunes is no longer "processing --" and the tracks remain unnamed, all jumbled together. The iTunes store helpfully responded to my request to replace purchased items by recommending that I backup files (thanks, apple). Is there any hope ..?

Without an application that provides for this being installed on your iPhone, and without a MobileMe account being accessed on your iPhone which provides for this, the answer is no.
In the U.S. in the event of an emergency - someone dialing 911 but unable to provide their location, the police can request cell tower location services via the carrier for the iPhone, but a carrier in the U.S. will only do this in the event of an emergency when requested by a proper authority.

  • I can't find track info in the new Garageband for Mavericks.

I need to assign channels from my USB device to tracks. In the older Grageband, I could open track info from the track menu. How do I do this in 10.0.1?
And, there doesn't seem to be a way to select multi-track recording.

The app that you are looking for is below.  Let me know how it goes.

  • Why doesn't my iTunes Library list any  track info.  for the CDs I burn?

I've bought a new PC and after setting up iTunes i began to copy my CD library back into my new iTunes library on my new computer.
But when I copy a CD now the only album information that copies is "track 1" "track 2" "track 3" etc. No song titles, no artist names, no album names. No album covers. All of this information was automatically copied from the same CDs on my old computer with a slightly older version of iTunes.
What's wrong? How can I fix this?

Are you reimporting the CDs themselves or are you copying over the files from the old computer? I assume the latter.
If you are copying over the old files from the old computer, what format where they imported as? My guess is that you used AIFF or WAV files? If so, that is the problem. WAV and AIFF files can not store info like artist, track title, etc. like you can with MP3 and AAC files. Instead the iTunes database file (the .itl file on a Windows machine) keeps track of that stuff. If you move the WAV or AIFF files, that information is lost/disconnected.
Try this and see if it works. Pick all the tracks from an album and then use the Get Track Info command. Since they were originally imported by iTunes, it may work and fetch the proper information.

  • Item level parcel Tracking with external carriers through AII

    Hi folks,
I am new to AII and am trying to explore the possibilities with the tools at hand.
With flexible delivery processing, we have tight control over the goods statuses across customer and supplier. For example, EM would let the customer know that the goods left the warehouse and are on their way.
Suppose I would like to integrate this information with the parcel tracking service of external carriers. The web services and web based tools such carriers offer are surprisingly immature. Some "global" companies are not able to provide seamless information, every carrier has their own standard and some do not provide public interfaces which could be used for customer-level tracking in a useful way (eg requiring authentication credentials of the warehouse clerk requesting the delivery).
I am wondering whether AII could be enabled to orchestrate this information flow. If an appropriate EDI format would exist, the carriers could be requested to update AII on shipment item level with any new statuses through EDI. Now it's up to the supplier to present the information to the customer as need be. This would remove inconsistencies as mentioned above.
Does this sound like a viable idea, are there EDI messages available for the task at hand and do you know of companies having successfully implemented something like this?
    cheers & thanks,
    Andi

    Hi Amit,
thanks for trying to tie in!
You are right in assuming that I mixed up the purpose of AII and EM. This is about making EDI-based information accessible to all partners involved, and therefore a case for EM.
Probably it helps if I re-state my thoughts. The supplier sends an ASN to the goods recipient. Afterwards, the goods are transported by a logistics provider based on a transport order. Question is, how can the intermediate delivery statuses of the provider be captured and published? Web UIs of the Providers with a tracking URL seem a very unreliable way of doing it.
I figured that IDoc IFTSTA seems to be the correct form for this kind of information to flow back from the carrier to the supplier and from there to the recipient.
Does it seem to be a viable option to  incorporate the carrier data into EM for tracking purposes?
    Cheers & Thanks, Andi

  • Parcel tracking  - cheating XSI

    Hi,
I was wondering if there's a way to use parcel tracking functionality without actually connecting to the express delivery company.
I went through all the posts found on this site as well as SAP manual for setting up XSI and parcel tracking. I've beentrying to fill VTRKH table manually with almost no success (i got a web page entered in field SIGNATURL displayed when trying to get into change mode on the parcel tracking tab). But still no tracking data displayed and can't change anything manually either.
We already use files provided by UPS containing shipping data and I'd like to combine it with the parcel tracking data display functionality in delivery.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I am also trying to config the parcel track in ECC 6.0. I followed the guide for VTRC, and also SAP Note 366914. But it does not work for me. The problems are:
    1. I am using inbound DELVRY03 to update the delivery and perform PGI. I included segment 47 on the header and segment 49 at each parcel (HU) level. However, the VTRKH and VTRKP tables are not updated. I went through the codes via debug, and found when the process goes into function XSI_TABLE_UPDATE, all the XSI tables are empty, while the parsing of the IDOC is correct and the tracking data is available in a global internal table. How should the VTRKH and VTRKP tables be updated?
    2. I manually entered some tracking numbers in the above two tables. When display the delivery, I could see the parcel tracking tab at the header level. Each parcel and its content is displayed correctly, but no tracking number is displayed, and there is no way to trigger a tracking (launching the tracking page of the carrier).
Have any of you successfully implemented this kind of XSI feature?
    Thanks,
    Hart

  • How can I quickly get the same album art for all tracks on an album without manually doing them one at a time?

I am having trouble with album art linked to each track. My library is ripped from my own cd's and ITunes only provides some of the artwork from a find artwork search. The rest must be found and added one at a time manually from web. This process is tedious and time consuming for me. Is there a file in iTunes related to each album that I can just drop the art once and it shows up linked to all the tracks from that album when they play? I've tried selecting all songs from an album and dragging the artwork to the artwork window once in hopes of all tracks getting the artwork at the same time with no luck. Any advice for this paltry artwork dilemma would be appreciated. If Cassidy & Greene still owned this ******* child of SoundJam I know I would not be having this problem! HaHa...Thanks for any advice/help with this problem.

Thx 4 quick reply alexbird. Your method will work and after a little experimenting so will this: Just go to the album art view option and highlight the album you want artwork for. Drag the artwork from your album art web search page to bottom left hand album art window in iTunes and just drop it there. A small progress window then appears showing each album track adopting the dropped artwork one by one. It only takes 10-15 seconds for all of the tracks on your album to adopt the new artwork. I then went back and removed unwanted artwork(from the albums that had it) track by track from the get info menu. This goes pretty quick as you just pick track>get info>artwork>highlight art>delete>ok for each track.
This drag/drop to the album art view page has been the simplest and most effective way I have discovered to manually import album artwork into iTunes so far. Hope this helps someone else out there. Any other methods or suggestions to do this task added to this thread will be duly noted. Thx... Oh, I am currently using iTunes 10.5.1

  • How to sync the album and track info that I entered into a CD using iTunes with the actual disc?

    Hello,
I recently recorded some cover songs, and I imported them into iTunes. So, after entering the track info (track names and album art) into each track using "Get Info", I burned them to a CD. I was completely shocked that the track info and album artwork did not get inputted onto the CD. So, I entered the track info, but could not add the album artwork.
How to add the album artwork is not as important a question. But it's one of my 2.75 questions.
My other issue is that the info that I put on the CD using iTunes is only visible within iTunes. Therefore, I cannot get the track names elsewhere.
    My 2.5 questions are:
    1) How do I get the track and album info to display in Windows Explorer and Windows Media Player (and the touchscreen CD Player in the car)?
    2) How do I add digital album artwork to the CD (so that it shows on the touchscreen CD Player in the car - if iPods have the artwork and it shows on the car's screen, a CD should be able to show the artwork on the car's screen, when talking about limitations of the car)
2.5) How do I make that artwork display across everywhere I plug that disc into?
2.75) How do I ensure that when others import my CD, my artwork, track names, and album name also import from the CD?
I have already burnt the CD, so I would prefer a way to tweak the properties of the already burnt CD rather than burning a whole new disc.
    Thank you!
    -Royce

    1) Metadata visibility in Windows Explorer and/or Windows Media Player depends on OS version and file type. The mp3 format has the widest support. As for the touchscreen CD Player in your car who can say? If it can play data discs the results will be better than with audio CD. If it can display CD text then this option should be selected when creating an audio CD.
    2) Artwork cannot be attached to the tracks on an audio CD. If your car system supports it all then it will be with data discs. Check the specifications of the system for the media types it can support on a data disc.
2.5) Simply ensure the artwork is embedded in the tag.
I have two scripts that can help with this, CreateFolderArt and EmbedFolderArt.
The scripts have a slightly different purpose.
CreateFolderArt ensures that every album folder ends up with a Folder.jpg image which is the art that iTunes already knows about. Side effects are that if artwork has been updated in iTunes the folder art should be updated also, and if any track from the album doesn't have embedded artwork it gets embedded.
EmbedFolderArt was actually written for someone who already had various artwork images stored in the folders and wanted them added to their tracks, but not if iTunes had already downloaded a better quality image.
2.75) Again, use a data disc format. Note that you should not be giving away copies of copyrighted material.
Audio CDs are finalized, you cannot change any properties of them unless they are on rewritable media in which case you can erase the whole disc and start over.
