Idoc from EH&S tables
Hi,
We need to send idocs with data from the EH&S tables (like ESTVA). I can't find any standard SPA idocs in WE30 for this purpose. Anyone can tell me which ones they are if any?
Many thanks!
Hello
take a look here:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/c1/eda0f591ec12408b25e7a1b369ca45/frameset.htm
in chapter:
Distribution (ALE) of Specifications, Phrases, and Reports
Don't try to do it in a different way as recommended by SAP. ESTVA is only part of the "data structure" in EH&S. The content of ESTVA alone does make no sense. Keep in mind that SAP or non SAP system nees data based on Phrase IDOCs as well. It does note make sense to distribute the specification alone
With best regards
C.B
PS: Pay attention. Phrases can be distributed automatically in SAP standard (that means if phrase belonsg to phrase group X it will be distributed automatically if a new phrase group is generated related to phrase group X. The same is not ! true regardign specifications. There is no automatitic distribution provided inthe standard. New Specifications must be distributed to the target system manually. If you would need an automatic distribution: sorry: you need to do something by your own

RajHi Raj,
you scenario can be:
R/3 -> XI -> JDBC
The flow is asynchronous - so you dont have any responses. If you want to use BPM/acknowledgements to catch errors have a look to <a href="/people/udo.martens/blog/2005/09/30/one-logical-system-name-for-serveral-bpm-acknowledgements Logical System Name for serveral BPM Acknowledgements</a>
You can split the IDoc (<a href="/people/jin.shin/blog/2006/02/07/multi-mapping-without-bpm--yes-it146s-possible without BPM - Yes, its possible!</a>) to several JDBC messages or put serveral statements into one message (

How to trigger an Idoc from Sales order creation and change
We are trying to trigger Idoc from sales order creation and change we have done following setting mentioned below:
Follow the below steps:
1. Go to NACE transaction
2. Select V1 application and select OUTPUT TYPES
3. Select the required output type and double click on Processing routines.
4. Enter Medium as DISTRIBUTION ALE, Program as RSNASTED and Routine as ALE_PROCESSING.
5. Save it.
message type ORDERSP in the distribution model (BD64).
Follow the below steps to configure the condition records:
1. Go to NACE
2. Select V1 application and select CONDITION RECORDS
3. Select the requred output type and click on Condition records
4. Selection screen will be displayed.
5. Go for execution. In that screen enter the selection criteria. For eg Condition record is based on Sales document type. Then
Sales doc type = OR
Funt = SP
Partner = blank. It means there is no restriction on partner numbers.
Medium = A
date/time = 4
Lan = EN.
Note: partner is left blank means, the sales order of type OR can be send to all partners.
6. Save it.
We also done ALE configuration.
We are facing problem that from VA02 "No output has been selected for printing Message no. V1102"
Kindly suggest the solution.
Regards,
Sharad DixitHi ,
Please check the total error description and diagnosis as below :
InVa02 enter SO go to extras->output->Header->edit.You can find a table with all the triggered output types. Choose the output type BA00 with medium Distribution ALE and go for 'Processing log'. It will show you the error description.
Please paste the diagnosis .

RSEOUT00 failing with "Could not write IDoc to file" TPRI_DEF table
Outbound Idoc processing fail with the following error:
Could not write IDoc to file
Message no. EA299
Diagnosis
The system could not convert data from the data record 000027.
Procedure
Check the port definition of the receiver port.
You can use the "Continue despite conversion error" option to write the IDoc to the file from transaction BD87 with replacement characters.
Short dump indicate that there is a some junk character in th e TPRI_DEF for program SAPLSPRI that it is unable to convert.
I have set the flag on the we21 port to "continue despite conversion error" and that seem to help, but I would like to figure out how to fix the junk characters from coming through from the TPRI_DEF table.
This is what shows up in the short dump after RSEOUT00 is run.
TPRI_DEF / / : : 00002932
010GV21 \0\0\0\0\x0006āȂ耀㐱〲\0\0嬇\0ሟ鴂푎眩\x0802儔잏퉓
I do not see any entries for area "GV" in the table, there is one for "GF". which has no user assigned to it and it is of key version 21.
I am not sure if the table is supposed to have an entry with no user assigned?
thank you for looking at this issue .HI Jurgen,
we have the same issue, chinese charecter is in PO text header. so facing error. If we click unicode format then it works fine as my testing in development.
I just want to knom what is the impact if i clicked directly unicode format ?( with refernce to your reply above " have you set the Unicode format flag directly above in WE21?" )
I doc is going from SAP sytem - (PO information )
Pls adivce..
waiting for your reply..

Steps to create outbound CREMAS IDOC from ERP
Hi,
Can you please share the steps to create outbound IDOC from ERP system?
Business requirement is that whenever a new vendor is created in the ECC system, SAP should trigger an outbound vendor IDOC CREMAS from ERP system. Also whenever the vendor data is changed then the entire vendor details should be passed to outbound IDOC and not just the delta changes. Change pointer can be configured but to create idoc for full vendor records.
I guess we can use CREMAS.
Can anyone please share the steps to configure it in ERP?

Creating JCo IDoc from flat file structure
Hi,
I need to send an IDoc into SAP using JCo.
The input to my program is a string containing lines representing a flat file idoc, e.g.
Line 1="EDI_DC40 2 ORDERS04.."
Line 2="E1EDK01 00000100000001 USD..."
Line 3="E1EDK14 0000030000000...."
Is there a simple way to use JCo to create & send the IDoc?
i.e.
1) If I use JCo and RFC IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS, what would be all the steps/calls to SAP (create TID, call IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS, confirm TID..?)
And can IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS be called using the flat file structures (without having to map to all the JCo ParameterList fields)? Since the flat file structures are in the format required by the RFC, just in one long string.
Line 1=>IDOC_CONTROL_REC_40
Lines 2..n=>IDOC_DATA_REC_40
2) Similarly, if I were to use JCo plus the JCO IDoc library, is there a way to pass the flat file structures without having to do all the mapping to segment fields?
3) Other options..?
I want to use ALE to SAP, not files, even though the input is in the flat file structure.Your reply gives a link to the general JCo documentation.
It doesn't give ideas on how to call an RFC or IDoc from JCO without mapping each and every field from a flat file structure.
I'm looking for a way to do something like this:
Function IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS has table parameters
IDOC_CONTROL_REC_40 STRUCTURE EDI_DC40
IDOC_DATA_REC_40 STRUCTURE EDI_DD40
Since I have the flat file representation of the IDoc, the first line should overlay exactly onto the EDI_DC40 structure. And the subsequent lines should overlay onto EDI_DD40. (all fields in this RFC are strings)
However JCO and JCO IDoc library seem very strongly typed, so it looks like I would have to map each field from the flat file structure to a field in the JCO Function or JCO IDoc object.
This could be done in a generic way using the function/idoc metadata, however there would still be some overhead.
Is there a way to get round this, and build the function/idoc treating its parameters as one long string? -
Error when posting Idocs From XI to SAP by Partner Profile
Hi all.
i have a problem. all my inbound IDocs in R3 use PP(Partner Profile) LS_XID.
but i need to send IDoc MATMAS by a diferent PP (LS_MATERIALS).
So, i added a new BS in transaction BD54.
In transaction BD64 re-desing the Distribution Model as follow
SL_130 (R3 DES)
> LS_MATERIALS (XI)
|> MATMAS.
In transaction WE20 define the new PP LS_MATERIAL. In inbound table add the MATMAS IDoc. Later imust delete de MATMAS IDoc from LS_XID list. same as transaction BD64.
My problem is when send the MATMAS to R3. it is still using PP SL_XID, so IDoc get status 56 (EDI: Partner Profile Inbound not Available) in R3.
Why?? Any IDea??
Thanks & Regards

3. post the idoc back to R/3.
Do you know how can I send the Idoc directly to R/3 FROM BW?
Thanks,

I created the following fm in R/3 to be called from BW:
FUNCTION z_read_table.
""local Interface:
*" IMPORTING

FIELD-SYMBOLS: <it_tab> TYPE STANDARD TABLE,
<ls_tab> TYPE ANY.
create internal table
CREATE DATA it_table
TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF (ip_tabname).
ASSIGN it_table->* TO <it_tab>.
read data
SELECT * INTO TABLE <it_tab> FROM (ip_tabname).
assign data
LOOP AT <it_tab> ASSIGNING <ls_tab>.
CALL FUNCTION 'SO_STRUCT_TO_CHAR'
EXPORTING
ip_struct = <ls_tab>
IMPORTING
ep_string = l_line.
APPEND l_line TO ep_tab.
ENDLOOP.
ENDFUNCTION.
In BW I am calling it with
CALL FUNCTION Z_READ_TABLE destination 'DEST'
IMPORTING ip_tabname = 'ZTABLE'
EXPORTING ep_tab = itab.
Hope this helps!

Error when generating IDoc from MC document - workitem to all the SAP users
A workflow item with the subject of Error when generating IDoc from MC document is sent to all the SAP users' inbox. Is it possible to stop the generation of this work item? If that is not possible, can we limit sending the work item to a specific user/agent instead of all the users in the system?
It appears that these work item or error message are generated when one of the developers reopen the POs and add line items. Moreover, during that time the procurement team blocked the IDOCs from going out to the vendors when changing and resaving the POs. Therefore, we need stop the generation of error message/work item when the IDOCs generation blocked.Please check Rule 70000141which is the default rule for this task. Inside this rule a FM is attcahed which is reading table EDO13 and EDPP1 where agent is retrieved Probably this table entries are not maintained. This Workflow is getting triggered from Message cOntrol I think.

Steps of EDI is used to transfer IDOC from R3 system to non sap system
Hi Experts,
Can you provide me Steps to configure EDI is used to transfer IDOC from R3 system to non sap system?
Full points will be assigned.
Thanks in advance!
SapnaHello,
The EDI Configuration required to be done for Transfering IDoc to non SAP System is.
1. First of all, we need to identify the Transaction Data which is required to be Transfered to external System.(Ex: Sales Order Data or Shipment Data or Delivery Related Data).
2. Secondly, Identify the IDoc Type & Message Type. IDoc Type can be found in Transaction WE30 & Message Type Can be explored in Transaction WE81.
3. After that, assign the IDoc Type to Message Type in WE82.
4. Identify the Selection Program (Outbound) which is generally a Function Module in the Form of IDOC_OUTPUT_<Message Type>. Example, if the Message Type is ORDERS, the FM will be IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS.
5. Assign the Function Module to a Process Code in WE41 (Process Code for Outbound).
6. Configure Port Definitions in WE21 for which the RFC destinations are to be maintained in Transaction SM59.
7. Maintain Partner Profiles for the Outbound Message Processing in WE20.
8. Last, but not the Least, we need to Focus Mainly on Message Control Configuration which is nothing but maintaining the Output Type for the Outbound IDoc to be Triggered for the Sales Order Application or Delivery Application.
i. In Message Control Configuration, we'll maintain
a. Condition Tables
b. Access Sequences
c. Output Types
ii. To Create the above elements, we can go to SPRO Transaction and do the same depending on the Application Area such as Sales / Shipping / Logistics Execution etc.
iii. For Output Types & Access Sequences, we can go to the Transaction NACE or VK01 in which we'll maintain the Output Types / Access Sequences & Condition Records.
Please note that all the above steps may not be needed if we are using some of the Standard Elements provided by SAP such as Message Type, Process Code, IDoc Type & Selection Program as many of the Standard SAP Applications have their own Elements for different Application Areas.
For example, if you want to send an Order Confirmation IDoc when the Sales Order is saved, you can use the Message Type ORDRSP, IDoc Type ORDERS05 & Selection Program as IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
However, Message Control Configuration is the Key Factor and is required for all the Applications as per the Customer's / Client's Requirements.
Hope the above procedure was clear.
Thanks and Regards,
