IDOC is sending somewrong values
Hi,
we have once idoc where it was sending the wrong currency values. Like in place of 2.3 it was seding 1.8. in currency segment, in the data record. can you please let me know where we have to adjust this .
Send a message to SAP. Also when asking questions about IDocs, in the future you might to mention at least the IDoc name.

Want to replicate Payext IDocs and send them to another logical system
Hi all
we are generating payext Idocs to a bank partner profile using rffoedi1 program. Our requirement is to replicate the same payext IDoc and send to another logical system using a different partner profile.
I have a rough idea of sucking data from EDID4 table....
Can any one let me know how the code looks like If we have to create same IDocs again with different control record with same kind of data?
can some one throw their ideas of doing this with less development work?
Thanks
SteveTry this way:-->
1.Using fm IDOC_READ_COMPLETELY get complete data of IDoc you want to send, then change the Header record (EDIDC) with new partner profile, port and other values
2. Pass these values to fm MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE.
(pl remember to clear EDIDS values before calling above said fm)
This will send your IDoc to new destination

IDOC for sending material data including classification data?
Hi everyone,
I'm just looking for an IDOC to send to an external system all data of certain materials but including classification system data, variant configuration data...
I have checked MATMAS0x but I am not sure if those IDOCs match with my requirement.
I would be very grateful if someone could please help me.
Thanks in advance and best regards,

Sending Date value to SAP R/3
Hi,
I am trying to send Date value from Text box (javascript) to SAP R/3 thru transaction and BAPI. But it is not accepting it. In SAP it accepting time value but it is not accepting date value. It take default date (current system date).
But when we give date value directly in transaction it accepts.
what is the problem. how to solve it?
Regards,
SenthilYour text box is a string. If you assign it to a Local (or Transaction) Property of type DateTime, xMII may properly interpret it and allow the DateTime value to be populated. However when you try to map it to SAP, it will most likely fail as it is of datatype DateTime (which is actually xml datetime). You can assign the text box value to a Local Property with datatype String and format it from there. Or if your Local Property is correctly interpreting the string from the text box and is updated, then you can explicitly convert from xml datetime to string type.
functions which might be of interest or applicable are:

dateformat

I want to send a value from JSP file to another JSP file without..
I want to send a value from one.JSP file to another two.JSP file without to show the content HTML of the one.JSP in two.JSP (with include), only take the values processed in a Bean :
===================
Bean
package pck;
import java.io.*;
public class yyyy {
public String getXxx() {
return cccc;
========================
one.JSP
<jsp:useBean id="idBean" class="pck.yyyy" scope="??"/>
<%idBean.setXxx(ccc);%>
========================
two.JSP
<%@ include file="one.jsp"%>
<%=idBean.getXxx()%>
but without to show the content HTML of one.JSP in two.JSP.
Can someone help me?, please.Why don't just put the common code in a separate file and include it in both. i.e. the code that is in one.jsp that is needed by two.jsp could be put in a common file and included in both pages, thus the HTML is separated off. If this will not work, set a boolean value in two.jsp that can be used by one.jsp to decide if the HTML should be displayed or not.

Round badi does not work in default formulas triggered when sending a value
I have implemented the round BADI from sdn (how to). Problem is that it works perfect when :
- I execute it in UKT
- I run it as a data manager package
- I put it in default formulas and run the default formulas as a packe
It however doesn't work when it is executed in default formulas when sending a value from an input scheduls.It gives an error "error converting records - the root element is missing"
Anybody a clue ?

tell me which tcode is used to send the sales order data from sender to receiver.
Example : we use the following tcode to send the master data idocs like
SEND MATERIAL MASTER: BD10
SEND VENDOR MASTER: BD12
1)is there any tcode to send the sales order data also like this.
2)if tcode not there then tell me which function module is used in the sender system to fill the segments of order01 idoc.
3) I want to fill the sales order data in the segments , the following data i need to fill
sales area , document type , customer numeber , payment terms , material , net price , quantity , order data , po number.
tell me which segments are used for this.
4)where to see the segments of the idoc and its fields.
5) if any one having sample code to fill the orders idoc , please give me the linkprabhu
send data through Message control ? means how to send .
My requirement is to fill the idoc segments and then to post.
Which tcode is used to see the segment fileds both header and item other than we60 , we61.
For orders01 idoc how to identify which segment fields are used for sales area , customer , payment term etc becasue po fields are also there, so confusing -
Not Working-LexicalParamater used to send multiple values with one prameter
Hi,
I am calling a reportname.rdf from the web(using apache webserver and url as follows:
http://localhost/cgi-bin/rwcgi60.exe?server=reportservername&report=acctActivity.rdf&userid=bizsystest/[email protected]&destype=cache&desformat=pdf&placeholdercolumnname='2,3,4'&docid=2
I have to send multiple values for fundid.
To accomplish this,
I created a placeholder column and initialized the value '0' and type taken as character(even though datatype of this column is number).
In sql query
select table1.c1, table2.c2 from table1, table2, table3, table4 where table1.cl in (&placeholdercolumname)
and table1.c2 = table2.c2(+)
and table3.doccode = :docid
From Web, URL contains the placeholdercolumnnmae='2,3,4'
Still its taking the value zero and output is generating.
Its not taking my newvalues ('2,3,4') in IN parameter.
I donot know the reason, where exactly is wrong.
Please help me to resolve.
2. My Second Issue:
Is there anyway, can we hide all key/value parameters send through the URL not visible to endusers
like servername, database userid and password and configure some where, so system can pickup each time when I run report.
Please help me to resolve.
Thanks,
Usha.Hi Usha,
First of all, I assume that the place holder column you have specified is a UserParameter which you have specified on the command line. I don't think there is any direct way of doing that.
I created a placeholder column and initialized the value '0' and type taken as character(even though datatype of this column is number). If I infer correctly from what you are saying, you can't mix and match the datatypes of the columns, you can't define the parameter as a number and pass characters. I suggest you declare your parameter as a character with sufficient width to hold your LOV and then process them convert them to numbers.
Another suggestion is try replacing your "Placeholder" with another query construct.
For your Second issue,
You can use the Key-Map file Oracle Reports provides for the Web client. Please refer to
<ORACLE_HOME>\Report60\server\cgicmd.dat.
In the cgicmd.dat,you can alias your entire commandline with a single key and use that key in your URL.

Creating Idoc and sending it to its own...
Hello All,
The functional design specified that an inbound function module needs to be created to process a custom IDOC, let's say ZMMDLRTL, and using the data from the segments from this basic type ZMMDLRTL, I need to create another IDOC of basic type PORDCR101 to create a PO. This PO IDOC would then have to be posted to the same system where the inbound function module that would process the ZMMDLRTL IDOC. So this is just like creating an IDOC and sending it to yourself right?
I used the function module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to create the PORDCR101 Idoc and sends it to itself. But now I am getting an error status 20, which is "Receive of IDOC is its own logical system". I just need some inputs on this.
Thanks,
KristineHi!
In two words - to avoid this error you have to send PORDCR101 to another logical system pointing to the same client and make corresponding settings in distribution model (as you use MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE).
Proceed as follows:
1. Create a "dummy" logical system name, say LOGSYSD. This dummy logical system will serve as the receiver system in the distribution model.
2. Using SM59 create RFC-destination LOGSYSD for the dummy logical system. The RFC-destination addresses the same client.
3. Create a distribution view in BD64 with your "real" logical system for client as the sender and LOGSYSD as the receiver for your message type.
4. Generate partner profiles for distribution model using BD82.
5. Using WE20 create inbound parameters for your message type for <b>"real"</b> logical system.
Hope it helps.

Wanna send integer value by reference in function
I wanna send integer value by reference thro' function. Here's the code going.
class test
basic b = new basic();
test()
test2.Fuction(b.value);
class basic
int value;
basic(){}
//////here i want value to be affected by Function.I don't want it affected by value, but by reference.
class test2
public static void Function(int value)
value++;If you want to update the value in your b object, then you have to pass the reference of that object to test2.Function(..). Here is one way to do it:
class test {
basic b = new basic();
test() {
test2.Function(b);
class test2 {
public static void Function(basic b) {
b.value++;
}It's a good idea to follow the java naming convention. Classes should begin with an upper case letter. Methods and variable names with a lover case letter (but final static variables with all upper case letters). -
IDOC CLFMAS set initial values
Hi,
I am using IDOC CLFMAS02 to update values in material classification. I do not have problems with modify a normal value. But I want to set a date classification value to initial. If I inform with ' ' the value is showed as '00.00.0000', but I need that this value become initial.
I am trying to use field MSGFN = 003 (delete) on segment E1AUSPM but it does not running.
The FM that we use to input idoc is IDOC_INPUT_CLFMAS.
Any suggestion. Thanks¡¡¡¡Yes I try to remove date characteristic from E1AUSPM.
Also I try to set blank value.
Also I try with MSGFN value = 003.
I think that your code is only to delete values from multiple-values characteristics.

E1KSSKM 003ZCLAS 1

The problem is that characteristic must be defined to DATE format and when I set blank value, inside code is converting to 00.00.0000 -

One LIFNR, based on a function can send multiple values to traget.
Dear SDNers,
I need your help to solve this problem
Let me explain the situation.
I have a field value LIFNR, which is sending a value from the source to target.
Here by using a User Define Function based on parameters I have to map the exact target.
The problem is:
Currently I am having a function which is sending a value to the target based on parameters and some times the target values are more that a single value. At that situation the function returns a random value to the target value.
In the below Old Function there is a method used to execute only one value, if more than one values are there then it will select a random value from them and send that value to the destination.
IFIdentifier src = XIVMFactory.newIdentifier(strContext, senderAgency, senderScheme);
IFIdentifier dst = XIVMFactory.newIdentifier(strContext, receiverAgency , receiverScheme);
String strResult = XIVMService.executeMapping(src, dst, a);
Solution as in New Function,
I have created a array to that particular destination variable and stored all value in array and passed to that target value. I have bold that letters.
//here I run a loop to store multiple destination value
if(receiverService.length>1)
for(i=0;i<receiverService.length;i++)
if (receiverService.equals("EM1CLNT003")||receiverService.equals("KM1CLNT003")||receiverService.equals("C11CLNT003")) receiverAgency<i> = "C11CLNT003";
I am sending both the functions
My question is is that LIFNR can send the multiple values to the detination for this change ?
And also I want to know how to execute this program and transport and testing this UDF.
Please need your inputs.
Thanks
Bala Prasad

That's useless information.
When asking for help with a technical question here, you need to describe exactly what you did, showing all code, explaining the entire context in which the code is used, and showing all error messages and actual results along with a description of the expected results.
One thing though, if this example is based on the standard EMP table, why does "depno" have no "t" in it in all your references?
