IDOC issue: updates MM02 with WF-BATCH instead the current job user

We have a nightly scheduled batch job that changes the material master through IDOC. The IDOC processing for material master update is successful, except the changes are done with the WF-BATCH user id instead of the user who submits the job step. We are using SAP ECC 5.0. Can anyone help me on this where to change the settings/changes. Appreciate your help in advance.

WF-BATCH - is an ID in SAP which processes batch workflow tasks.
So if your IDOC posting triggers workflow task - it's going to be processed by WF-BATCH.

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.

Iphone will sync with one and only one cpomptuer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer. This is the design of the iphone.
It will erase the content when you sync.
Why not update from the comptuer with which you normally sync?

Someone recently noted a problem staying logged on the Huffington Post since it became connected with AOL. The workaround for that is to change your connection setting here:

Click the "Settings" button and choose either "No Proxy" or "Use System Settings" option, and OK the change.
Not sure whether Washington Post could be affected by that same setting.
In reviewing your extensions, I'm puzzled that you have both DoNotTrackMe and SavvyConnect. The first one seems to aggressively block certain communications with websites (potentially affecting functionality) while the second one seems to report on your browsing habits (they better pay well is all I can say). Have you tried disabling both of those to see whether that has any effect?

Hi c3 cyber club,
Unfortunately FormCentral and Echosign are two different services and forms created in Forms central can only be submitted via and to Forms Central.
We cannot have the form filled in using FormCentral and get it signed using Echosign.
However, you can use Echosign directly and you can get most of the functionality.

The update operation is not allowed in the current state of the request

When users have logged a request through the service manager 2012 portal and they go back in to add user input they sometimes receive a message that says " The update operation is not allowed in the current state of the request." The state of the
request has not changed it is still Active and has not breached its service level .
I can't seem to find any information about this error and don't know how to troubleshoot it. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

ok, so they're adding user comments after creating the service request. looks like this:
the first thing to check is that the user is added to the default, un-scoped "End User" security role, or the custom end user security role they are added to has a scope that includes all work items. The "user input" field adds a user comment related
to the SR, so the ability to create user comments is required to use this field.

I a, trying to create a drill down report - I am getting below error when I drill down from summary report to detail -

The issue is I have a budget report which will drill down to display amount by each period -
Jan-10 Feb-10 Mar-10
1223 123 10
Now I am trying to display detail GL transactions by clicking the amount field.
This means summary report should pass period along with amount to display detail GL transactions.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Explain exactly how you create your 2 reports.
The second one must have "is prompted" filters if you want it to use the values of the first one.

My question is as follows: Before installing the new version, do I need to uninstall the current version 3.0?

I had v 2.0 working fine... I downloade the v3.0 "lela-3.11.9139.94.exe" and when the install is at the "installing JRE it hangs.. and never ends. I am using XP professional with latest fixes.. I tried to clear the reistry, Tried install 5 times, Allway tops at JRE.. Also installed latest SUN JRE.. I have no idea what i wrong.. Must be a bug in the install..
Any suggestion?

Workflow to populate "Assigned to User" with AD group of the "Assigned to User" is empty or Null to user is empty.

I am updating roles and would like to use the [me] and [my group] tokens for views. I am planning on updating all the templates to specify an ad group in the "Assigned to User" field that corresponds to the appropriately selected support
group. I would like to avoid having the "Assigned to User" blank (this could happen either via using a generic template, or when re-assigning workitems) so I think I need a workflow to remediate any workitems that have no Assigned to Users.
There does not seem to be an easy way to do this just with a workflow configuration. Do I need to create a workflow with the authoring tool? Can I create a workflow that will compare a support group (enumeration?) and assign an appropriate
AD group?

probably the easiest way to do this would be to create a console workflow that runs on create (or update, if you want this to be reoccurring) and checks for the looks for the Display Name of the Assigned to user. This would only be populated if there was
a legitimate user, and would be null otherwise.
you could create console workflows for each support group (i.e. If Supportgroup = NumberA and AssignedtoUser.Displayname is blank) that applies a template that contains the correct user or group for that support group enum.
other options are available, so let us know what you're ideal conditions are.

How to find photos tagged with "5 Star" in the current album

I have just migrated a large library from Aperture, I can see and use the star tags "5 Star", "4 Star", "3 Star", etc. However, I do not seem to be able to search for photos with these tags localised to the current album that I am viewing.
For example, I have an album iPhoto Events > 2015-04 where I have imported photos from this month. I have tagged all the photos as I normally do in Aperture including "5 Star" tag. Now I want to see all the photos with "5 Star" and share them onto iCloud Photo Sharing. If I type "5 Star" in the search box, it shows me all the thousands of photos with this tag!

I guess that since the search function is not as powerful as Aperture's this will have to do until they add back all the functions from the old programs. I will try to do a last 30 days + 5 Star album for the time being. Thank you for your suggestion

Cisco Tidal 5.3.1 Job Group with (2) completed and the first job group (1) still waiting on Dependency.

We have a job group i.e. Job Group A that creates a second instance of the job group Job Group A (2) and completes normally. The problem is we have another job group that is dependent on Job Group A (1) so it never runs until we cancel the first job group or set it as completed. What could be inserting the Second occurrence of the JOB Group?

This sounds like a repeating job/group with new occurrences. Check out the Options tab for both group and job-levels

The correct setting should be:
Group Options, If job is running, then Run Anyway
Job Options, If job is running, then Defer until Normal or Defer Until Complete
which means if any of the deferred options are selected, the second occurrence will wait until job is completed normally (Defer Until Normal), or wait until job either completes normally or abnormally (Defer Until Complete)
Now I wonder what causes the second instance to complete normally and not the first instance.

Idoc issue - canbe fixed with enhancement?

Hi idoc Gurus,
I have issue related to idoc.
We have extended the DEBMAS with one custom segment(Z1KNA13).
Custom segment(Z1KNA13) has three fields. one of the field is to store customer's second address line(cust_address2).
When someone changes the customer's second address line in Mainframe. It updates the same in SAP.
And in WE05 under segment Z1KNA13
Field                                         Value
cust_address2                       B. P. road
But if someone deletes the customer's second address line in Mainframe, it does not deletes the same in SAP.
And in WE05 under segment Z1KNA13
Field                                         Value
Even field "Field" is empty.
Could anyone help me to figure out, where the problem could be.

Could you please clarify if my understanding is correct..
You are receiving the IDoc from the Mainframe...When you change the Customer Master in Mainframe then the MAinframe sends an IDoc to SAP with the change vales....the issue when deleting the record might be from mainframe side wherein they do trigger the IDoc exchange interface only for change and not for delete...if that is the case then you may have to extend your Idoc with another update indicator which states whether to change or delete the address record...
and based on the update indicator you can update or delete the record in the IDoc processing in SAP end...
Why I guess this is because you have sadi that the value in the IDoc field is empty..so if mainframe doesnot send the value in IDoc you will not get the value in SAP also...

IDoc issue - update address data vendor

We make use of iDocs to interface our vendor master data from an AS/400 system to SAP ERP.
But we now have an issue with the address data updates of the vendor.
If we check the vendor with XK03 - Environment - Field Changes:
Date: 12/02/2010
Field: City
New: LOUISVILLE KY 40290-1076
Old: CINCINNATI OH 45274-0124
But in XK03 the field city still contains: CINCINNATI OH 45274-0124 (and not the new updated city)
Table LFA1:
LFA1-ORT01: LOUISVILLE KY 40290-1076
LFA1-MCOD3: LOUISVILLE KY 40290-1076
Table ADRC:
ADRC-CITY1: CINCINNATI OH 45274-0124
ADRC-MC_CITY1: CINCINNATI OH 45274-0124
If we check WE05 ---> green flag, so no error while updating vendor master data (+ correct city is in E1LFA1M)
This is not always an issue - so not all vendors have this issue. If we reinterface the same vendor later, the address data is upated without any issue.
How can this be solved?

Check if there is some custom code concerned or not.
If not, check sap notes, then ask sap support to help you solve the issue.
Otherwise custom code may handle incorrectly something, but I can't tell you what!
