XI doesn't send the message FTP receiver.In XI sxmb_moni the "c" column contains green flags that mean "message scheduled on outbound side".
In smq1 It writes "SYSFAIL" means "Password logon no longer possible - too many faile"
But I use "anonymus" in FTP adapter. Which password is this, which component is related with this error.
How can I do?

it may be that the FTP server where you want to send your output file does not accept anonymous connections.........so just get the username and password of that FTP server, which has access to do FTP to that machine, for doing ftp to that machine, then your output msg will be FTP to your target FTP server........

IDOC with extension from external ECC system

Hello experts.
I have a scenario where I need to receive an IDOC with extenstion from an external system.
how can I define the xsd of that IDOC in my PI system?
will I need to receive an xsd file from the external system and import it as an external defenition?
how is it done? (this 3rd party doesn't have a PI system, so they can't export XSD like me)
another option is to build a similar IDOC with extenstion in our SLD, and import it into the PI system... but it seems a bit problematic.
I'll be happy to hear suggestions from people who had to implement a similar scenario.

Three questions:
1. how your external system will send to you the data: by an Idoc-XML file ? or by directly an IDoc (so with an ALE config) ?
if it's ALE config, then you should have also a connexion to this Ext. ECC system, for instance to return back an acknowledgment. And so, if you have a connexion, you can import this IDoc into PI.
If it's a file, they have to provide to you an XSD file, that you can use as External Def, and create a Service Interface. So it will be not really like an IDoc, but like all other message which look like an idoc.
2. with this ext. ECC system, do you have a logon connexion ?
if yes, you can import this IDoc into PI.
3. Do you have to send the same IDoc to your own ECC system ?
if yes, that means the extension has to be developped in also in your own ECC. In that case, you will be able to import it PI and use it for source and target.

you can find on SDN, some program to generate an XSD from a DDIC table/structure, but for complete IDoc, I don't know.
Anyway, if it's really an ECC system, the better way to exchange data, it's to do an ALE config from their system to your PI, and no issue to import the IDoc def in PI.

IDOC Message type from XI

Hi,
I'm sending idoc type ORDERS05 from XI. Previously, I had set up message type ORDERS for this IDOC in the partner profile. But then I changed message type to ORDRSP, and process code ORDR for inbound idocs. I've also set message type ORDRSP for IDOC type ORDERS05 in WE82 message type - idoc type linking.
But for some reason, the IDoc is looking for message type ORDERS and not taking message type ORDERSP, and it is erroring in SAP, when I view the status of the IDoc it says that EDI Profile ORDERS Message type was not found.
So my question is - is this message type for an idoc type to be used passed somewhere from XI, do I have to make a change in XI side, or SAP side.

I did all these changes, in the IDOC mapping in XI and also selected the option to select control record from payload in the idoc adapter. The messge in SXMB_MONI, I can see that EDI_DC40 has mestyp ORDRSP, but when I see SAP we02 IDOC transaction, it says that message type is ORDERS. Don't know why this is still happening? Any other option needs to be checked guys?

Syslog messages coming from Standyby ASA ?

I have a pair of ASA's in Active/Standby configuration. I noticed this morning that the secondary ASA is generating syslog messages when I dont think it should. Here is the logging configuration -

The message that you show us is part of what the ASA is doing to maintain state for all the VPN connections from the primary ASA. I see similar syslog messages from the standby unit in an ASA active/standby pair.
You say:"I wouldnt expect any messages to be coming from it since it isnt really doing anything." But the standby unit is really doing things. As a new session is established on the primary the secondary must process and retain that information. And when a session is discontinued on the primary then the standby must process that also and remove the session from the state table. If the standby were not busy doing these things then it would not be able to take over and process sessions correctly if the primary were to fail.

I just got a Macbook Pro 15 inch. It is the preconfigered one with higher specs. I noticed that there is a loud fan like sound coming from my laptop. The strage part is, when I place my hands on it to typle, specifically the right hand. The sound gets cut to be about half as loud. I don't notice the sound when I am in class when there are people talking and the air is on in the room, but when I am in the library it is really loud. Does anyone know what this might be. All of my friends older Macbooks are dead silent.
This is not the buzzing or clicking sound that you can hear from a hard drive, it sounds almost like a computer fan, and it does it from the second the computer is turn on, to the second it is turned off or put to sleep.

Strange error message coming from mail

I'm getting this weird error message from mail and it's very random. " The mail server denied access to the account because an administrator or other mail client was using it when mail tried to login. Internal login failure" I dont have any other mail client checking my mail. I'm using pop3. If anybody has some information on this it would help.

I know I have the server correctly identified. I can receive mail but not send it. Have you had any

How to handle more than one message coming from an async BPEL in a sync BPEL process?

Here is the scenario,
Sync process A is calling an Async process B and Async process B is developed in such a way that it is returning more than one message to sync process A, how you will handle those messages in sync process A?

As durga said, its a wrong design, you will have issues in real time. You wont get the response back most of the time. It can be otherway around, async is waiting for sync process.
Change your design or provide what is your use case below, we can think of which design suits you.

I have 4 accounts in Apple Mail, 1 at iCloud and 3 at Gmail. On just one of those addresses a given message is received numerous times. Example: my inbox shows the 1st 2 messages coming from my own email address and the title is identical, Mind over .....

I'd love to offer a screen capture and save a few 1000 words. You'll see that I have numerous duplicate copies of emails being received by one account, my RegisterMe4Now address. Let's see if the captures don't speak for themselves.

HT4528 Since updateing with the new IOS 7.1 on my 4s, I have NO sound coming from my speakers or volume control, but I DO have sound when my phone rings. How do we fix this problem?

I updated my phone last night with the new iOS7.1 my phone worked fine before updating. Since updating, I have no sound from music or videos, but I do have sound when my phone rings. anyone know how to fix this? I have already done a restore that did nothing.

Inbound IDOC messages Retention Period- Where to Check

Hi Gurus,
Where do we specify Inbound IDOC messages rention period.
In our system I do not see Inbound IDOC messages ( coming from ECC to PI) older than 15 days.
But I see Outbound IDOC messages ( PI to ECC) older than 15 days.Also I see non IDOC messages older than 15 days.
I checked in SXMB_ADM, Integration Engine Configuration and I do not see any parameter for IDOCS.
I appreciate any pointers.

Hi,
As far as I know, there is no specific setting for IDOC mesages .
Retention period is generically set for all the messages in XI.
Inbound and outbound messages are always with respect to ECC and not PI.
(What you call inbound are actually outbound and vice versa).
Retention periods, can be viewed using SXMB_ADM transaction only.

I have a tricky problem. I want to exclude a specific number range for purchase requisition coming from the Project system.
The current number range I have for the purchase requisition is let say: 10000000 - 19999999.
I want to use another number range (50000000-59999999) for the purchase requisitions as an impact of material components of an network activity.
What I've tried but it is not working properly:
1. TC: OMH7 - I created a new number range as I mentioned above
2. TC: OMEB - I've copied the document type NB to a new document type ZNB (NB = ZNB)
3. TC: OPTT - as last step I've assigned the document type ZNB to the order category 20 (network)
Please advice ASAP

2. Create the ZNB document type and assign the number range number (i.e., two-character ID)
3. Assign this ZNB in OPTT
If I've repeated what ever you've done/said, check the settings once again. It should work.

Idoc coming from biztalk

If you attempt to receive an IDoc for a specific segment release (for example, 620/46C) and trigger the IDoc without specifying the release, the schema will filter all the segments and allow only the control record
I can't see 1 particular segment in SAP. The Idoc is coming from biztalk.Pls help me to solve the issue.

How to merge key field from external source system with SAP R/3 master

Hi,
In SAP BW 7.0 system, our scenario is Master Data for 0GL_ACCOUNT is coming from SAP R/3 alongwith the Transactional data records for standard FI cubes. Then, one more set of transaction data is coming from external source system, a flat file, into another custom DSO(ZDSO_FI), which also has this GL Account field.
This flat file's GL account, GL_file, has to be basically mapped/merged with the standard 0GL_ACCOUNT field so that at the time of loading the transactional data for custom DSO, ZDSO_FI (with transformation mapping GL_file > 0GL_ACCOUNT), system automatically refers to the 0GL_ACCOUNT master data to load these incoming transactional values, from the external flat file system. How can this be done?
To illustrate the scenario, say I have 5 records in 0GL_ACCOUNT, loaded from SAP R/3 into SAP BW-

Because of this I am not able to perform the calculations common from standard FI cube and ZDSO_FI, with GL account as key field. I need to synchronise these data values based on GL Account to proceed with further calculation and am badly stuck.
Request if anyone can please throw some light on how to achieve this seemingly simple requirement?

Developer Tool Forms retreiving data from a Mainframe system using MQSeries

I had a TAR posted to the Forms Group asking questions about data access using MQSeries and Oracle. That group suggested I ask my question to this group.
What I need to accomplish is the ability for a user to type in a Medicaid DCN number on a secure website which is produced using Forms and Reports 9i, have it send the request to a CICS sub-routine, and return data such as Name, DOB, address, in a string to be separated, displayed on the screen, and eventually saved to a Oracle database. The group had given me three things to think about:
1) Using Oracle Procedural Gateway to monitor for messages coming from MQSeries. Problem is that is requires additional licenses which we do not have.
2) Using Oracle Messaging Gateway to monitor for messages. It doesn't require additional licenses but does require an Enterprise Edition license and we are running Standard Edition.
3) Using Forms in conjunction with JAVA to accomplish the communication between the Web Form, MQSeries, and the Mainframe. I really don't know JAVA but I am wondering if I really need to know it. I am thinking I can make sure that the parameters that the CICS program is expecting is there then somehow call the sub-routine. There must then be data or information returned to me in a string to be brought into Forms to be separated and put to the screens to be saved eventually.
Question: How do we call a routine such as a CICS subroutine or a Webservice from Forms? Can I do so without products such as Oracle Messaging and Oracle Procedural Gateways to monitor for responses coming back from MQSeries?

I remember having this same problem a while back - except I
always got a 0 record count. I could get to the table, but not
access the data inside at all. I tried to find the post I had on
this forum but can't. Anyway... the problem is with Advantage 7.1
working with MX. Advantage released a hotfix in the form of a .dll
file (email me if you need it I'm sure I can find it on my
machine). However it was just a bandaid type fix because the
problem was addressed and corrected in the newer versions of
Advantage that were later released. If you upgrade Advantage your
problem should go away. The newest release is 8.1
