IDoc Message Structure Missing from Condition Editor - SWCV Dependency

Hi All,
I have an issue whereby I am missing the Message Structure in the Condition Editor Dialog while doing Receiver determination. I have seen others posts with the issue but none of the solutions seem to apply to me. My config:
I have a SWCV called MY_SAP_BASIS, which is defined in the SLD with SAP BASIS as prereq. I import this SWCV into IR and build some objects. I wish to use an IDoc, so I import it into SAP BASIS, and it appears under my SWCV (MY_SAP_BASIS) in the "Basis Objects" section, but not directly under "Imported Objects" - as I would expect because of the relationship created in the SLD.
My issue comes when I try to create a Rec. Determination. I want to use the condition editor, for multiple receivers, but when I click on the button to bring that up, first I get the error "Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system", then when I try to use the Structure of the IDoc for an XPath, the structure browser is empty.
I can't see why this would be. If I look in the SLD, and look at the Business System in question, it lists MY_SAP_BASIS and SAP BASIS as being installed.
Also, when I do a "Where used" in IR on that IDoc, using my own SWCV and SAP BASIS, I get the same list. I have also checked the GUID's between the SLD and IR, and they are identical (except fpr hyphens in the display, which I am assuming don't matter).
Anyone have any ideas? I assume that if I import the IDocs directly in MY_SAP_ERP, I will be able to solve this. But I would rather the Software Dependency worked!
Many thanks.

Jai/Michal,
Many thanks for your replies. But unfortunately I had already checked this and I don't think it is the issue. My first message probably wan't as clear as it should have been: I have a Product "MY_SAP_BASIS" - this has one SWCV under it, also called "MY_SAP_BASIS". This SWCV has a dependency on "SAP BASIS 4.6c". Now, on the Technical and Business systems involved, the Product "MY_SAP_BASIS" is installed. This, as you would expect from the dependency, brings across the "MY_SAP_BASIS" SWCV and the "SAP BASIS 4.6c" SWCV, so they are both installed on the technical system . So I don't know what else I should be adding? Unless my understanding of Software dependencies is incorrect, I think my config looks right in the SLD. The SWCV under which the IDoc imports are done is "SAP BASIS 4.6c", and this is installed on both the technical and business system. The only difference is that it gets there through a software dependency, and is not added "directly". In IR I can see the imported objects under the "MY_SAP_BASIS" SWCV - in the "Basis Objects" section.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

  • OSX Mail:  Messages go missing from my phone due to Mail/Rules

    I started setting up RULES in Apple Mail (v5.3 in 10.7.5) routing messages to individual folders and got a bit of a surprise!
    Sample rule -
    From: abc @ yahoo.com
    Move Message: to mailbox: On My Mac ("abc/yahoo email" folder)
    Simple enough right?
    Here's where it gets strange.
    Using an Android Phone (AT&T Galaxy S3) to check multiple email accounts via the default email app AT&T/Samsung provides....
    All of those messages affected by RULES on my Mac disappear from my Android phone's inboxes!!!!
    It makes no sense.  The RULES should affect the copy only saved on the Mac, not on the server.  At very worst - mark them as read - but they disappear entirely from the phone's normal inbox!  Now I did go the server for (example Yahoo for abc @ yahoo.com) - and all the messages are there, not missing or moved somewhere else - but something is making them vanish from the view of the phone whether unread or read... directly coinciding with RULES.
    I'm stumped.  Guess I have to get rid of any rule that affects anything I might ever need to read/receive while on the road with just my phone.
    Strange.  Very strange.

  • Signed messages are missing from search results in a shared mailbox

    We recently completed moving all user mailboxes to Exchange 2013 from Exchange 2010.  We also have a policy that disables the 'download shared mailboxes' option in Outlook as it cause .ost files to get cumbersome and cause performance problems.  This
    means that shared mailboxes that users have open are all in 'Online' mode.  Since the move to 2013, when users search against a folder in a shared mailbox, the only items that are returned are unsigned messages.  Our customer base very frequently
    signs email and these signed messages do not show up in results.  This was working in Exchange 2010 so our users are frustrated by the sudden inability to receive complete and accurate search results.
    If they perform a search of their local mailbox, which is using Cached mode, they are searching against their local index and they can find signed messages.  But since the shared mailbox is not cached to their local system, they are relying on the Exchange
    server index and it does not seem to be indexing any signed messages.
    Does anyone know how to force Exchange 2013 to index signed messages?

    try to perform the below steps and check if it works or else we need to wait till Exchange 2013 SP1 which they have planned to bring digital signature message in exchange
    Outlook 2007
    In Outlook 2007, follow these steps to verify that indexing is complete:
    In Outlook, click Tools, Instant Search, and then click
    Instant Search.
    When the Microsoft Office Outlook dialog appears, you should see the following:
    Outlook has finished indexing all of your items.
    New items are indexed when they arrive.
    0 items remaining in "Mailbox -<<var>username</var>>"
    0 items remaining across all open mailboxes.
    Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013
    In Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2013, follow these steps to verify that indexing is complete:
    In Outlook, click in the Search box.
    Click the Search tab, click Search Tools, and then click
    Indexing Status.
    When the Indexing Status dialog appears, you should see the following:
    Outlook has finished indexing all of your items.
    0 items remaining to be indexed.

    You will have to resend service books to your device.
    Enter setup --> Email Accounts
    If the email accounts are not listed, configure the accounts again.
    If the accounts are listed
    Press BB key for options ---> service books -->send service books.
    Your icons should reappear on the homescreen or original position. Your older emails may not be visible within the icons. You can refer to them by using the option view folder within the emails.

  • Property Editor is missing from page editor

    Hi,
    We are on EP7 SP10.  Strange one - the page editor does not have a property editor in it.
    I've logged a call with SAP but was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue?
    Thanks

    Hi Milan,
    Navigate to User Admin --> Identity Management, and select a user. In the general Information tab there is a property called Activate Accessibility Feature.
    For an end user, they go to the portal personalziation link (Personalize) in the masthead, and then go User Profile.
    Hope this helps.

  • URL missing from Media tag

    I am trying to stream a live video from Adobe Media Server. I am sending  a video to the server from Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.2. On Adobe Media Server I open the sample video player (videoplayer.html) in a browser. In the STREAM URL field I put: http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/ liveevent.f4m. When I click the PLAY STREAM button I get the error message: URL missing from Media tag. What do I need to do?

    What is the stream name that you are publishing from FMLE? If it's "livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent" then the url should be http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m .

    Hi Sarat,
    1. Oracle B2B requires Oracle Application Server - Infrastructure and Middletier. You need to use Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 as it provides both these components. Oracle Application Server 10.1.3 doesn't contain all the Infra & Middle Tier components -
    it only contains :-
    * Oracle HTTP Server
    * Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE (OC4J)
    * Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control
    * Oracle Business Rules
    * Oracle TopLink
    2. You can download Application Server Integration(10.1.2.0.2) that contains Oracle Integration B2B. You can get more information about the other components at the download page for Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.
    3. You can get information about Oracle B2B at the link :-
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/b2b/index.html
    4. The Quick Start Document at this link should give you a summary about B2B - features, installation, configuration ,etc...:-

    that can be a problem with your windows.. your OS..

    My Gf has my iphone. How can I see recent messages and calls from another device?

    Depending on your carrier, you may be able to see recent calls by logging into your account on the carrier's web site, if they offer such a feature, though incoming calls being shown is not usual. There will, as diesel said, be no way to see messages already received, either SMS/MMS or iMessages, without having the phone.

  • In PI 7.1, condition editor does not show the outbound interface structure

    Hello,
    I am using PI 7.1, I need to use condition whild determing receivers. So I opened the condition editor, then open the expression editor, select XPath instead of Context object. I would expect that the outbound interface structure appears in the box underneath the XPath, so that I can navigate the structure to choose the field I want to use. However nothing appears here. Do you knwo why is that? Or do I need to do anything to bring up the outbound interface structure in the expression editor?
    Thanks
    Jayson

    Hi Jayson,
    I had the same problem
    the use of context objects and the value help for xpath is available for XI3.0 interfaces in PI 7.10 only. The functionality for "new" interfaces has been implemented in 7.11 only.
    you have to use xpath w/o value help.
    I have created a context object in one of our 7.10 test systems, and indeed I was unable to use it in a receiver determination unless the service interface pattern is "Stateles (XI 3.0 compatible)". If you were to change the service interface to that pattern, you have to change the operation name unless it is already identical to the interface name. So that may not be an option for you.
    It was possible to use the context object in a receiver rule but then I could not activate the receiver determination because the software component version was supposedly unknown. I will check with my PI contacts - please let me know if the change to "XI 3.0" interface would be a possible workaround for you.
    Try the steps which I am giving below, although it's a workaround and don't know the exact reason why it is failing.
    1. Open your Outbound Message Interface (which you are using in your Receiver Determination) in IR, edit it and change the Interface pattern (which is there just below the category "Outbound") to "Stateless (XI30 - Compatible)" , save it activate it.
    2. Follow the same step for your Inbound Message Interface. Change the Interface Pattern from "Sateless" to "Stateless (XI30 - Compatible)" .
    3. Go to ID. Remove your Outbound and Inbound Message Interface from their respective Business Service/Comp and add it again.
    4. Create your your receiver determination again using the Outbound and Inbound MI you have changed.
    5. Open condition editor of your receiver determination.You should be able to see your Message Interface and can choose the XPath.
    Thanks,
    Raj

  • IDOC Error - Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload

    Hi,
    I have following scenario.
    SOAP adapter ---> PI   -
    > IDOC Receiver -
    > ECC
    THe IDOC has a required node that is disabled and IDOC revicer communication channel has checkd following options.
    Apply control record value from pay load
    Take Sender from Payload
    The soap message is mapped to IDOC structure. While testing I received following error.
    <SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>Error: Copy Sender from Payload: Sender Is Missing in Payload</SAP:Stack>
    If you have seen similar error and please let me know how to trobleshoot. I appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Balaji

    Thank you for the response. I can enable EDI_DC40 segment and map required following values.
    ·        SNDPRN
    ·        SNDPRT
    ·        SNDPFC
    ·        RCVPRN
    ·        RCVPRT
    However as we move transports to different environemnts the above values changes and I can't hard code in the mapping.
    My questions is how can I map these values such that when transport moves across different environemtns the mapping valaues are still good. Please let me know.
    Dont enable EDI_DC40 and dont select take sender ,receiver from pay load option,apply control record values from pay load.
    this case IDoc adapter reads values from configuration time andno  problem after trasporting to quality or prod.

    Hi,
    If you get the following msg while selecting the BS in Receiver Determination
    "Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
    1) Open ID-----Double click on Business system that which u are using in the scenario
    2) Check whether you are able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB
    3) If it is not there means goto SLD----Open the Technical System of R/3 by choosing Web as ABAp type
    4) Click on Installed Products TAB
    5) Click on Add New product and add your Product of the SWC whcih you are using for developement and Save it

  • Set "E" for V1801 Message: Pricing error: Mandatory condition ZR01 missing

    Dear All,
    I want to set below error message to appear as ERROR.
    Right now this message appear as a GREEN Color message. Therefore user can save the sales order without pricing.
    My requirement is to BLOCK the user from entering a sales order in to the system without pricing. (Not even a incomplete order)
    Message
    Pricing error: Mandatory condition ZR01 is missing
    Message no. V1801
    Please note I have done following configurations.
    - I have set ZR01 condition as MANDATORY in my pricing procedure. - B'se it's the price for the material
    - I have set "Manual Entry not possible" for this condition type - Price should always pick from VK11, User should not be able to enter manually.
    If Price is not there, user should not be able to create a SO.
    NOTE:
    In the transaction OVAH, I cant see this message no to set as E.
    even in SE91, I don't see a place to set the message type.
    Is there any other way to set this message as "E" & to prevent user from entering a SO to the system without price???
    Appreciate your help !

    Dear Senya,
    Your suggestion works really fine with me.
    It didn't make that message an ERROR message  type. But it prevents user saving any incomplete document, where in my case it's pricing. So user has to complete the pricing in order to save it.
    Thanks a lot for the help !
    All others, thanks a lot for your suggestions !!!

  • Inbound IDOCs to XI triggered from SAP going missing... !!

    Hi ,
    We have been recently facing issues with idoc messages missing in XI. The IDOC is in status 3 in source SAP system. Running bd75 shows the staus as 12.We do not see an entry in the trfc queue of source system(sm58) to conclude it is stuck in the source system.
    Now, the idocs are not visible in IDX5 in XI either and not in sxmb_moni. Is there any other way , say a log/table in XI where we can check to be sure it has not reached XI at all. Or Is it possible that the idoc has reached XI but there is an issue with the Sender IDOC adapter. If its possible , where can we check this idoc is persisted in XI and the IDOC-XML conversion failed ?
    Appreciate any pointers!!
    Thanks
    Saravana

    Maybe obvious, but I'd also check <b>ST22</b> in XI.
    More, <b>check your network</b>: do a
    ping -t hostname > ping_hostname.txt
    from XI to R/3 and viceversa, say for at least one hour. Put collected stats somewhere like an excel sheet and check you don't have <i>holes</i>. In that case you need help from network guys (maybe a naughty switch?)
