Idoc missing Legacy

Hi,
My senario is SAP sending  IDOC to PI from PI to Legacy,SAP posted 30 idocs but only 28 reached to Legacy but i see evry thing ok in MONI,smq1,smq2,sm58.
What i need to do in this case help me.
Regards,
Prasad.

Hi,
As you did not precise if you did these tests, and I ask you:
in PI, tcode SXMB_MONI, check if you received 30 idocs (same figure than in ECC).
if it's not the case, your problem in ECC. So have a look on:
in ECC, tcode WE02: check that you have 30 idocs with status "03" correctly treated (or 39 if PI returned an Ack).
in ECC, tcode SM58: check this queue, even if you have a "03" status for your idoc !, coz "03" = correctly generated, but not "correctly sent to PI or received by PI"...
if the count is good in PI, do the check list providen by Shabarish

  • Idoc "missing" between SAP and PI

    Hi!
We have an issue with Idocs that are "missing" between SAP and PI. First 5 idocs were processed ok, then 3 went into yellow status. We have set up queue processing on this particular idoc type as there can be posted 2 at the same time. The problem started when 2 idocs were processed at the same time
    What have been done
    - SMQ1/2 in SAP system does not show any trace of these messages
    - SMQ1/2 in PI system does not show any trace of the messages
    - Message monitoring in PI does not show any trace of the messages
    - SM58 in SAP system is empty
    - SM58 in PI system is empty
What checks remain to find out where these Idocs are stuck?
    Thanks!
    regards Ole

    Hi Ole,
Refer This link for IDOC Monitoring.

In this it is mentioned like
    Main Tools
    XI Runtime Workbench
    Transactions:
    u25CF     IDX1
    u25CF     IDX5
    u25CF     SXMB_MONI
    u25CF     SM58
    u25CF     SM21
    using these we can monitor..

  • IDOCs missing in XI

    Dear MDM Gurus,
I've imported the MDM business 5.5 content to the XI, create the mapping and ALE settings, and I like to send MATMAS IDOC from ECC 6.0 to MDM with mdm_clnt_extr. But on XI side the standard logistic idocs is missing like BOMMAT04, ECMMAS02, CREMDM04, DEBMDM06, DOCMAS04, MATMAS05, etc. The ECC system cant' send the idoc because the other side the idoc schema is missing. Perhaps I have forgot to install some add-on or other component?
    Regards
    Almos Paksi

    Hi Almos,
When you import MDM business 5.5 contents in IR, it comes without Imported Objects.
If you want to use standard XSLT mappings, u can copy it to ur namespace & use it.
What u need to do is:
Copy proper Imported Archive from MDM BUSINESS CONTENT 5.5 to ur namespace.
Import Required IDOC from ECC 6.0 system to ur namespace.
& then apply this copied XSLT mapping.
Hope this is clear to u.
If u want some help u can ask.
    Thanks,
    Maheshwari.

  • IDOC: Missing text in Inbound Del

    Hi gurus,
Does anyone know or encountered this scenario:
I created PO, Delivery and Shipment in BoxA. Automatically Delivery doc that has been created will reflect to BoxB via IDOC, as well as the Shipment. Well, it was posted and successful. But the problem is there are missing values in delivery.. Supposedly, there should be  header  texts defined in the delivery.
I've checked the segments in we02 and the texts are there.. It's my first time to hanle IDOC issues.
Help me...will be rewarded if it works.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Maybe the header texts are maintained in a different language other than EN.
FOr this, do a select on STXH..
    tables: stxh.
select single tdspras from STXH into STXH-tdspras where Tdobject = ws_tdobject
                                                                                and tdname = ws_tdname
                                                                                and tdid = ws_tdid.
    THen,
         call function 'READ_TEXT'
              exporting
                           xxxxx
                           xxxx
                           lang   = stxh-tdspras
We experienced this problem today and resolved it like this.
    Try...

  • Idoc Missing On the ECC SAP System Side

    Hi All
In my case an Idoc is being sent to the SAP ECC system from XI . I can see the message is successful in SXMB_MONI of XI, the message has a chequered flag , I also locate the IDOC in the IDX5 in the outbound entries . But I am not able to locate it  WE02 Idoc List .
I have checked the SMq2 in both XI as well as ECC but the message is not being held here .
I checked SM58 on the XI side . It has no errors. On the ECC side i can see some entries . Now how do I locate which entry might be for my message . Is there a way to see the detailed error message for an entry in SM58 on the ECC side .
What else can be checked to locate the missing Idoc .
    Thanks.
    regards
    Nilesh

    Hi,
a workaround - just check the function module in ECC which is invoked for posting of your IDOC..........take the output IDOC msg data from XI from SXMB_MONI and execute your function module in ECC with that data and there you will find some exception msg........just try to match any exception with the SM58 errors...then you can locate your IDOC...........
just proces the SM58 entries and you will get your IDOC in ECC.

  • Receiving IDOC from Legacy

    Hi guys,
I have requirement that POD will be send by the customer to the legacy system, where order processing is happening.
The legacy system will send the POD to the ECC system by using EDIFACT.
there is a integration layer where EDIFACT will be converted to IDOC.
Does the legacy sytem sends the IDOC automatically after conversion to ECC, or do we need to use any function module for this to receive IDOC in ECC.
If the Legacy system is sending the IDOC automatically in the ECC, where does it post to which table it has to update.
do we need to do any setting for this.

    Hi,
There is no BAPI that will split the IDoc and post. You have to do it manually. One way is
    1) Split the IDoc into two or more IDocs based on the maximum items you need. Later post these IDocs.
    2) Post FI invoices as and when you reach max count(without actually creating new IDocs).
I guess first one would be better as you can tract which IDoc resulted in which FI document(Invoice).
I worked on this before. When we process an IDoc with more items, we flag that IDoc with a custom message with status 51. We have a scheduled job that picks the IDocs with this status and split the IDocs to 2 or more new IDocs.
These new IDocs are processed later.
    Hope this helps

  • EXS Factory Samples And Sampler Instruments Duplicates and Missing Legacy

since updating and comparing to my macbook which i havent updated, it seems there are missing exs factory samples. for example on new logic 9 there are 2 folders exs factory samples which have 01 through 09 folders. the sampler instruments folder has 01 through 12 and folder 12 legacy instruments which on my mac book in sampler instruments have 01 thru 10 then skips to 26 to 41
ann ex factory folder on mac book 01 thru 10 folders and 10 legacy folder contains 01 thru 10 then skips to 27 thru 38. what is going on . why are there missing files in new upgrade i did on main computer? and how do i get all the exs samples and what should they be?

This problem began,i think in Logic 8.....when you install LP8 normally the EXS instruments and Legacy EXS there were always some missing that I was used to using..I found them eventually, they were now part of the the Garageband instrument Library.
I went back and searched all the install DVDs until I found them showing up..some EXS instruments would be missing the actual samples which were now part of the Garageband instrument library,Attitude Bass being one I remember off hand.
I just copied all the Instruments and samples I needed and got rid of the rest which amounts to a lot of space being freed up.
Now I just keep a backup of all my EXS files on external drive so I dont need to install them every upgrade as in Logic 9 (which I checked just in case there were any new files etc!)..which also sorts out the duplicate files headache.
    Hope this helps.....

  • Channel Strip Settings missing 'Legacy' option

I am missing a large amount of options from my Channel strip settings drop down menu, a normal click gives me the following on a software instrument channel:
When I hold alt and click I get the following:
I am not being given the option 'Legacy' or other options I have seen being used from this menu. Is there a way to customise what options you can have in this menu, and if so where can I edit them?

    I´m having the same issue.

  • Logic X - Exs24 missing "legacy instruments" folder

    HI,
I'm missing the Legacy Instruments folder in my EXS24. It's not in the sampler, and it's not in the file system (/Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments). There _should_ be a folder there called "12 Legacy Instruments", but it doesn't exist.
I've found a few other threads on this and tried:
    repairing permissions.
    REindexing Spotlight
re-downloading Legacy and Compatibility from Download Additional Content
    Suggestions please?
    Thanks!
    logic 10.0.7
    Mac 10.9.4

OK, I figured out that this Legacy content is on the Logic 9 install disks. Here's how I solved it. I used Pacifist, which was mentioned in some other threads, but not really explained. I was also unsure whether this was a Logic 9 legacy issue, or something from way back in Logic 7 or 8. Hopefully this will help someone....
    1. Download and install Pacifist from Charlessoft
    2. Get all your Logic 9 disks ready, and open the Logic Studio Install disk in Pacifist. (You will need to insert all the Logic disks to open the complete package.)
    3. in Pacifist, search "legacy". In mine, this gave 5 results: Legacy Bass Guitar, 10 Legacy Instruments, 04 Logic Legacy Kits, 12 Legacy Instruments, and 06 Legacy Spaces. The Pacifist browser window shows the file path.
    4. In the Pacifist browser, right-click (or control-click) on the folder, and choose "Extract to Custom Location...", and extract to the corresponding location on your hard drive:
    /Library/Application Support/Logic/Channel Strip Settings/Track/04 Bass Guitar/Legacy Bass Guitar/
    /Library/Application Support/Logic/EXS Factory Samples/10 Legacy Instruments/
    /Library/Application Support/Logic/Plug-In Settings/Ultrabeat/04 Logic Legacy Kits/
    /Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments/12 Legacy Instruments/
    /Library/Audio/Impulse Responses/Apple/06 Legacy Spaces
That should be all you need to add the Legacy content, without doing a full install. They are all just presets, except the EXS stuff, which is presets and samples — so if you want that you need to add both the EXS Factory Samples/10 Legacy Instruments AND the Sampler Instruments/12 Legacy Instruments. Otherwise they can be added modularly.

  • Missing legacy instruments

I'm missing quite a few kits and instruments and read in another forum that when installing Logic 8 from 7 I was supposed to check Legacy Instruments (which should be automatically checked) to keep them and I didn't know that. I'm using 9 now is there anyway to get these instruments back and/or will they be available in 10?

If you look on your install DVD you should find a number of packages, including additional instruments.
Re: Logic Pro X, yes, legacy instruments are included as a free additional download after you've installed and launched the program.  See appendix A in the manual:

  • IDocs missing in Target Side after BPM process

    Hi,
We are having couple of IDOC->XI->File scenarios where BPM is designed as per the BpmPatternCollectTime standard pattern.
The issue is like when we send 100 idocs from ISU system, and the collection process is set as say 3 minutes, we'll be getting 2 files. Here the first file will be having 92 idoc data and the second will be having only 1 idoc data. We are confused with the missing of 7 idocs in between.
These seven idocs are getting missed in between the exception to come out of the collection loop after the first 3 minutes and the starting of the second instance which will again go on for 3 minutes.
Can anyone provide some ideas to resolve this issue???
    Thanks in advance
    Jayakrishnan

    HI Jayakrishnan,
I understand what you are telling...but check this line from sap help...
<i><b>The system checks the deadline at runtime. If the deadline has been exceeded, the processing branch is executed for the deadline. The steps in the remaining processing branches in the block are not affected by this. In particular, note that these steps within a block are not automatically completed.</b></i>
that means along with the deadline branch the main branch is also getting executed(that is what i make out from this - pls correct me if i understood wrongly)...
if this is the case...can you give a try with the following suggestion...have a container variable with a default value....which will be set to a different value in the deadline branch(remove the exception raising from the deadline branch)...in the main branch after the append step...there has to be a switch step which checks for the value of this container variable....if it has the dead line value then raise the excpetion here...other wise donot do anything...
give it a shot...i think it is worth trying...
    Thanks,
    Renjith
