IDOC : navigation to the errored segment ...IMPORTANT

Hello all...
In transaction BD87 ...if a user selects a particular errored out IDOC (with status 51) with some error ina segment ( lets say segment 3) and clicks on it..
I need to take him directly to the errored SEGMENT 3 screen(Display data record for IDOC screen) ...
i need to skip all the screens in between,which he has to navigate to reach the segment...
how can i do it?
I had to copied RBDMON00 program( BD87) into my z program...now i need to find out the way to go to errored segment directly based on segment number displayed skipping the navigation screens in between....

Hi Aday,
Please check this FM EDI_DOCUMENT_TREE_DISPLAY.
I am afraid there is no standard FM available to get the error segment of an IDoc. Perhaps you may want to write your own codes to go to table EDID4 to get the corresponding segment.

After uploading POs into SAP we are changing quantity and value in PO in Legacy system, and for this all IDocs are failed, subsequently these changes are not triggering to ECC.

Navigator display returns error after import

I am able to run the export/import successfully (while attempting to transfer an entire application from one instance to another).
However, when I browse through the Navigator on the target instance, I get this error:
An unexpected error ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows occurred when executing default_action action of the APP datasource. (WWC-38130)
Any ideas?

I am sure, It created another provider, with same name.
Easiest solution for this problem would be restore backup, remove providers from destination which you are planning to import from source.
I know this is not the solution anybody is looking for, but after spending good time to look for tables where the providers are stored & other referencing entries in different tables.
It will take you for ride. If you want to go for one.

Well, I installed the latest iTunes this AM, works perfectly. Although for some reason it did lock up after playing a song today.

The issue you are experiencing is one that has occurred in multiple versions of iTunes, a simple search would have revealed this.

Modifying a message in error segment of an idoc

Hi,
I want to modify the error message that is getting displayed in the error segment of an idoc. It is coming form a standard message class and while debugging it was found that the control is going into a standard function which is used for generating a tranfer order . Is it possible to modify the message ? I know the mesaage class(Standard) and the mesaage number as well.

Try this.
You may be using a structure to populate the idoc status. Check that structure, there will be an option to give the message class and message number.

Exception text in error segment of the header

It is well documented in SDN on how to add trace messages and then raise an runtime exception error that will stop message mapping process.

The exception text can be extracted from the Trace segment in SXMB_MONI. This is an acceptable way but not the best one. The "error information" button only indicates to the exception but one needs to dig out the text from the trace section.
The ideal scenario would be to be able to write to the error segment of the message header (for e.g. "Additonal Text" section). Has anybody worked on this / what are the mechanisms to achive this from UDF/Java functions.

Idoc - codcmt01 throwing an error.

I am trying an IDOC to IDOC scenario where CODCMT01 is sent from my R3 system to XI and back to my R3 system.
When I am trying to trigger my IDOC from WE19, it says IDOC sent to external system.
But, when I check in the transaction SM58, I find that it shows an error, IMPORT CONTAINER CONTAINS ERROR. Any idea as to why I am getting this error??
Also, when I check in my XI, in SXMB_MONI, I am getting an error saying ATTRIBUTE IDOC META DATA. When I test my Interface Mapping, the destination IDOC structure that is generated is perfectly fine.
I have done all the required configuration including partner profile, IDX1, IDX2, etc required to trigger an IDOC.
Any inputs on this issue would be helpful.

I had read in a tutor on ALE confiruration, that after triggering an IDOC in we19, a check has to be made in SM58. If SM58, has no entry, then it implies that there has been no error and the IDOC has been actually triggered to go to XI.
But, in my case, though I am getting the error IMPORT CONTAINER CONTAINS ERRORS in Sm58, my IDOC reaches XI, is successfully processed and is sent back to my R3 system.
My question here is even though my scenario is working fine, I need to know if the reason for my error in SM58 and the effects of it, if any.
Any inputs on this issue would really be helpful.

I have selected the option
Add new metadata and replace existing objetcs. But it is not importing. Also I tried other options like
1. deleting the existing mapping and tried.
2. Putting the mapping in recycle bin and try.
3. Take it from recycle bin.Even during taking it from recycle it is giving me the following error .

Reprocessing IDocs with errors
Outbound (BD88)
Once the error has been determined and corrected it is not necessary to resend the IDoc again. You simply resend the IDocs that have already been generated.
Using the IDoc overview screen you need to take note of the following for each IDoc that was not processed:
Error number: 2, 4, 5, 25, 29
Error number: 30 (Execute Check IDoc dispatch to process)
IDoc number
Using the Error number, the IDoc number and the transaction BD88 , with the required message type you can resend the IDoc. Match the error number with this transaction and execute the function for the IDocs incorrectly processed.

Error when importing from Data Feeds

SQL Server 2012 SSAS. Very funny error. I cannot same issue in forums:
Errors in the high-level relational engine. The following exception occurred while the managed IDbCommand interface was being used: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required..
An error occurred while processing the partition XXXXX
The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed.
When I go through the import everything seems to be fine: it successfully connects to the report/data feed, it lets me preview and filter tablix displaying information, but when I click Finish, it throws the error on import.
What could it be? I have configured credentials and Proxy in SQL Server Agent.

Hello to All,
I am attempting to use an open source program for speech recognition and several "training" files for the program have a number of
import org.mozilla.javascript.Context;imports that bring the error "This import cannot be resolved"
I know for an import to work it must be part of the "package" or "API" from Sun.
I am using javasdk1.5.0, Eclipse 3.1 and Ant.
So, What do I have to do to actually "import the org.mozilla.javascript"????
This must be a very simple answer but I have not had much understanding here.

That would have been the answer, except I did some more googling right after my question was asked and found that I needed the js.jar.
I looked in the jsapi.jar and found it was already there.
So I built it and much of the "red" disappeared from the project in Eclipse.
I know now I must reorganize the project, as the imports are calling for files that cannot be found, that happen to be elsewhere or not in the build path.
Bringing Unix/Linux OpenSource into Windows is usually tricky, but well worth the investment in time spent.
I give you the Duke as you were correct and the only one to answer.

Hi All
While importing IDOC in IR i am getting error "IDOC type abc contains error (Unable to read segments)".
We have added one extra field into our existing customised IDOC into R3 and successfully releases. Previous IDOC having version 640 and modified IDOC having version 700.
In IDX2 i have successfully imported IDOC metadata and one extra added field also i can see there. But while importing into IR its showing me error "IDOC type abc contains error (Unable to read segments)".
I have tried to import different IDOC using same user and it was successfully imported means there is no authorization error.
Please suggest me where could be the problem?

Do The following:
1) Delete the IDX2 entry and try to reimport once again....and in the IR also do the same.
2) Have a look into this SAP Note- 742093
3) Check the IDX1 entry , RFC destination entry... may be not pointing correctly.
4) If any field which is mandatory in the idoc must not be disabled...take care about it.

IDOC / Integration Builder -- contains errors (unable to read segments)

I have a problem. I have created a new IDOC. but when I imported to the KIntegration Builder it says:
Import started...
ZHRMD_IT.ZHRMD_IT: Error
+ Error: IDoc type ZHRMD_IT contains errors (unable to read segments)
Import failed with 1 error.
The rare thing is that the idoc is a copy of another idoc of SAP (HRMD_A06) but I have taken out some E1Pxxxxx.
Its like a reduced Idoc but as a new idoc.
Can Someone help me, please.
How can I see what segment is wrong in the new idoc (ZHRMD_IT)?

Hi,
As per the error , you are importing some custom idocs.
Go to WE30 and check that, all the segments in the idoc has got released or not ..
All the segments are the sap stardard segments.

Then start importing the idoc into IR..
