IDOC node is not populating

Hello XI Gurus,
here iam using XI 3.0 SP22, the requirment is we are sending some data from JMS to R/3 system,
based on some conditions Idoc needs to be posted to SAP ... we have 2 differenr IDOC structure PORDCh,PORDCHCHG..so in interface determination i maintained some conditions and given relavat Interface Mappings and remaining conditions at mapping level ..the requirement is based on condition any one of the above IDOC structure needs to post..i mapped the condition to IDOC node ..but after triggering the data from JMS it is considering only the condition which i applied in Interface determination but NOT at Mapping Level ..bcoz i have some RFC look up at mapping so i must check condition at mapping level..
Can you guys can assist with suitable solution..?

Custom idoc segment fields not populated

Way back in 1999 someone create a custom Idoc type with custom Idoc segments in it. Unfortunately, they forgot to release one of the segments.
Recently a change was request to add new fields to this custom segment. In order to get the fields transported the segment had to be released.
All worked fine in Dev and the new Idoc segments were populated as expected. However when the idoc segment was moved to the test system all visually appears to be fine but when the idoc is created (status 50) the new fields are not popultated.
In 40B the start of the inbound process was IDOC_INBOUND_DATA. Does anyone know what the new starting point is in 4.7??
I beleive the error is actually that SData is not reading all the input values and stopping right where the old fields end in teh custom segment.

additionally,
SAP will not allow us to release the basic idoc type because it was released in 40B. It also will not allow us to cancel the release since we are now in 620. So, unless anyone has input for this I think the only solution will be to create a successor IDoc type and change our apps to use the new IDoc type with it's enhancements.

For inbound Shipment IDOC ' IDOC_INPUT_SHIPPL' does not populated the stop

I am using an inbound IDOC for shipment IDOC_INPUT_SHIPPL' .
and I am sending the Stop time in the segment E1EDT17 with qualif = 011 and ISDD,ISDZ,IEDD & IEDZ. and with diferent location say E1TPTRM has 2 differnet location 1) Plant location 2) Ship to address
in my IDOC there are date , time ie planned date * time but in SAP VT03n transaction it is not getting updated in the screen in the Stages tab.
is there any specific condition i need to send in the file. please help

This has to be delt in the E1EDP02 segment with the qualifier value as 083 and the document value as the plant

Ship to party not populating in segment in whsord idoc

HI,
we are creating two delivery with ship to party as 52004 and 56003 (two different sales orders with differnt sold to ). the deliveries are trigerring outbound whsord idoc. The issue is in the segment E1ADRM1 segment for WE qualifier , in the field, " Partner_id", the ship to party 52004 and 56003 is not populated. Rather a constant value 32500000789 is populated in "partner_id " field in both deliveries
Our Abaper is not willing to identiy the same since it is s standard idoc.
Pls can you help as to w hy ship to 52004 and 56003 is missing in partner_id field and some other value 32500000789 is coming ? all other deliveries are created ok.

Message type is not populating in the Inbound idoc control record

Hi,
I have created an Inbound Idoc function module and have done the necessary Idoc settings. But, while testing in WE19, I observed that control record is not getting populated with message type and it is dumping.
The settings which I have done in WEDI as follows:
1. Created Idoc segments with necessary fields and released
2. Created Idoc type for the segment type
3. Created message type
4. Assigned message type to basic type
5. In the inbound processing settings,
filled the ALE attributes with the Idoc function module name and input value '0'
6. Assigned FM to basic type and message type
7. Created process code and assigned the process code to message type
Please let me know, the reason for the message type not populating in the control record. Useful answers will be surely rewarded.

Hi,
Maintain partner profile (Transaction code WE20) for the message type you defined in WE81 and put your process code in partner profile and check your logical system settings also in transaction SALE.

Extended idoc not populating(urgent)

hi guys
i have extended the basic idoc type delvry03 and created an extension delvrtext for it.however when i trigger the idoc from an output type the extended segments are not populated.is there a way you can put a break point in the code.if that is possible it will help me a lot.i am using the FM idoc_output_delvry to create this.i tried putting break points in rsnasted as well as the above FM but it doesnt stop and the idoc gets created.please tell me how do i make sure my code for populating the extended segments is running properly.

thanks for the reply first of all.srinivas what do u mean by assign the extension to application object?i have done the configuration in we82 where i have attached the basic idoc type and extension to message type desadv. the function module is attached to the process code which is used in partner profiles for the idoc processing.can u explain me in detail.the idoc standard idoc is getting created but not the extended segments.also there is this weird message when i run a check on the partner profiles as follows
   Entry XIDCLNT300/LS/LS/DESADV /
   Message Control entry exists for this entry
   Port exists
   Basic type exists
   Extension exists
<b><u>   Combination of basic type and extension is not possible</u></b>
   Link exists between logical message and IDoc type
what does this mean any idea?
once this check is done probably i can go and do the breakpoints.i just have a feeling that i am missing some small thing here.

Idocs not populating the fields

Hi
We are using Extended Classic Scenario. After the shopping cart is approved, the PO is generated in the backend R/3. The PO is generated in the backend and the idoc is triggered which is sent to supplier.
The problem we are facing is as below:
There are some fields in the idocs which are not getting populated. We are using badi implementation BBP_PO_INBOUND_BADI in the backend. We have used both the methods BBP_MAP_BEFORE_BAPI
BBP_MAP_AFTER_BAPI
The table EKPO is getting updated but the idoc does not have the fields.
Also when we are second time retriggering the output the idoc is having the required fields.

Hello,
It looks the first generation occurs to early in the process.
Can you should check the processing time you defined in condition records ?
3 is too early, 4 should work because a commit work is done before. And at worst set it to 1 (selection report) and schedule a job to process the message.

IDOC number is not in the list

Hi,
I am creating an inbound delivery using IDOC. The message type is DESADV and basic type is DELVRY01. After I have populated the control and data tables, I processed them using IDOC_WRITE_AND_START_INBOUND. I have generated the IDOC number after executing the program. The problem is, when I go to WE02, the idoc number is not the list. I am not sure if the IDOC I generated is successful or not. Does it have something to do with the FM that I used. I set a custom process code that will call the FM IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. But the IDOC number is not in the list and I can't access it WE19. Do you have any other Function module that I can use to process the IDOC in ABAP? The Function module should be the one to call the FM IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 to create an inbound delivery. That's what I think causes the error. Thanks.

Mapping Idoc nodes

Hi
I have a file to Idoc scenario.
I want to know how to map the Idoc nodes at receivinf end.
Which filed should the node Idoc be mapped to ? Also what about " Begin ", " EDI_DC40 " and also " SEGMENT " under EDI_DC40.
Do I have to make any of them unbounded. Sounds silly but am not to able map accordingly.

You can map empty constant, no counter required.

ESS Bsns pkg Bnfts &Pymnt - Overview Drop down and table not populated

We have configured ESS business package. Payslips in form of PDF are available in Benefits and payment.
Overview dropdown and table are not getting populated.
I checked context node rem, vcdata and attribute overview_sel in VcRem2Selection comp.
They are not populated at any place as well. How does this work?

Hi Gangadharayya,
There are 2 ways of populating the dropdown.
Either u can create a simple type and bind the attribute to the SimpleType, or use the class ISimpleTypeModifiable and IModifiableValueSet to populate the values at run-time.

PAYEXT - Business Partner not Populating

We are generating PAYEXT IDoc's from F111.
The Idocs are not populating the Business Partner number in the segment.
Can some one tell me what the issue could be.

1. Goto MDS load cockpit transaction and run the sync for that one customer... Check the log to see why the BP is not created
2. Since you are saying the order was created without any issues, check the credit account on the sales order (header data or table VBAK) check if a BP is created for the credit account (in case credit acct is different to sold to)
3. If sold to = credit account, check if your sd-fscm Badi is implemented correctly. Among other things this Badi copies credit info such as risk class from fscm onto the sales order. Check if this Badi is implemented correctly (I'm assuming u've already activated fscm credit management)
4. Finally you may want to consider adding a line to OVA8 for blank risk category, for all credit control area and block the document for max doc value of -.01. This will prevent any sales orders from getting created when the proper credit info is not copied over from fscm (or if the credit data had not yet been maintained on the BP)

Graphical mapping issue, repeated lines are not populating

Hello All,
i have mapping where i need to map source node and its coresponding subelements to target node and its subelemtns based on certains condition, which i did using If condition.
Now my issue is, when mapped source node with condition , conditional field is not in the same node which i am mapping. It is in the parent node of the node which i am mapping. SO when i mapped to target node, only one occurence only its populating in target side even When lines repeated more than once its not populating all lines corespondingly. Please let me know how to populate all line items when i have validation field in parent node and child node and its subelemnts to be mapped to the target node. ( Both parent node and sub node in source and target node are unbounded) .

Not populating Dublicate segment in MM Test tab

Managed Server not populating while installation in SOA server detail

I am facing an issue in installation of AIA. In the screen SOA server detail, managed server is not populating in dropdown option. I have installed Weblogic middle ware fusion in which admin server and managed server is running. Both are configured for by own machine and clustering is not done
I want to know these things.
1) Is there any problem with weblogic installation or configuration. Managed server and admin server is running fine
2) Do i need to configure node management to map admin server and managed server in fusion middleware?
3) Is there any compatibility mode issue? I am running the setup as administrator in window 7 OS for 32bit windows
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Check for the following in your target soa server:
1. SOA components are correctly deployed.
2. soa-infra deployment is running and healthy.
3. node manager is able to start and stop the managed server properly.
