IDOC not getting genrated

Hi Experts,
Need your help.
In idoc creation, I have changed material description, its generating master idoc but communication idoc not getting generated.
Please suggest me the solution,

Hi,
Idoc's are generated based on the payment method and any how in the payment method we will give the required curriencies which are applicable for that payment method.
And u had mentioned as WE05 for IDOC list, but actually the T.Code for IDOC list is WE02.
Check the settings, it has to come. Reply back for more clarifications.

Inbound IDoc not getting generated in XI System

Hi all,
I have created a scenario following the given weblog:
/people/udo.martens/blog/2005/09/30/one-logical-system-name-for-serveral-bpm-acknowledgements
The first half of this scenario is working fine and the idoc data is getting posted into the the oracle table successfully.
The business process is successfully sending the acknowledgement IDOC 'ALEAUD' to the XI server using an HTTP Receiver Channel.
The problem is that no inbound IDOC can be seen in the XI system using tcode we05.
Next the xi system has to send the same IDoc to the R/3 system. But as no IDoc is getting generated in XI, nothing gets sent to R/3.
Can anyone suggest what could be the possible error.

Hi,
You will not see that IDOC in WE05 of the XI system. You can see that only in SXMB_MONI. XI system will not store any IDOC. When it enters XI it is a XML message and it will not post any IDOC that you can see in WE05.
If you need to send the IDOC back to R/3 system, you can use BPM and send back the IDOC to R/3. If you need few details from Oracle tables that is to be sent back to R/3 then get those values from Oracle tables and fill in the same IDOC and send it back to R/3.

Article IDoc not getting processed in PI for particle article type

Hello All,
I have an strange behaviour in my system.
i.e 1, we are creating an article IDOC by using BD10 for particulat article type.
2, IDOC created succesfully , then
3, Process the IDOC in BD87 to push the IDOC to PI system .
4, But i could not see the message in PI that too only for one article type.
I'm wondering why this is not getting processed only for one article type and not for others.
we also checked the basic filter for the message type in dist model and even i could not see any condition in PI also,
Is there any thing else i should check? can you please help us on this.

Hi,
Try to reimport the metadata of IDOC into PI in idx2. Also check the port definition in ECC and whether the segment is released or not. Please go through the below discussions it may help you.

IDOC Not getting Posted in PI from CRM

HI All,
I had Configured,
in CRM side : SM59,WE21,BD54,WE20
in XI side: datatypes,MT,MI, Maaping not yet done, IDX1,SM59
Idoc is not getting displayed in XI system.
I had a small Question, Do we need to Configure all the setting in XI for Getting IDOC from CRM.

1.CRM: go to Tcode-WE81 and check message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE created?
Yes exists
2.CRM: Execute Tcode-WE82, Check message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE has relevant IDOC type and version.
yes both message type and basic type exists
3.XI: Did you import right Message type and IDOC type in to IR in XI?(name will be like Message_type.IDOC type)
yes imported CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE.CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE01 in IR.
When i see in Table EDMSG in XI system i am not finding the value CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE, but this value Exists in CRM system
in XI i m not finding the message type in WE81 and WE82.

IDOC not getting posted into BPM

Hello Friends,
I have a scenario where i am using Async/sync bridge in BPM to convert an IDOC message into webservices.
I have configured the BPM correctly without any sematic errors.
Whenever I post an IDOC, i get an error message saying - "Party and service not defined"
Do I need to "START" a BPM from somewhere??
Im getting stuck at the starting itself

Hi,
in ID, in your R/3 business system, from menu go to Adapter specific identifiers......then a popup window will come.......then in that window, your logical system for IDOC may be blank.......click on Compare SLD button at below, then your logical system field should be filled with the logical system you have defined for your r/3 system in your SLD.
Then again send your IDOC from r/3 to XI.

CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE IDOC not getting generated for BUS_TRANS_MSG BDOC

Hello Experts,
In our project, we have a requirement to send custom fields in the BUS_TRANS_MSG to external system through XIF. The model of BDOC BUS_TRANS_MSG triggering IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 perfectly worked in the development system. We wanted to try the custom field extension in the Sandbox. So as per OSS note 916093, we have extended E101_CRMXIF_CUSTOMER_H segments with custom fields and tried generating the interfaces in BDFG transaction. While generation with IDOC CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M we got an error message "Incompatible change to complex data type
type E101CRMXIF_ISU_PRA1_X". So went about creating a custom IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 for message CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE. Even for this config, the IDOC is not getting generated for the BDOCs. Lastly, configured the IDOC ZZ_CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M02 to a custom function module ZZ_BDFG_IDOC_TEST_FM. The FM got generated and activated, even then the IDOC is not generated for the BDOC.
SMOEAC config in Sandbox looks the same as the Development system. We do not the reason why IDOC is not getting generated and also the reason for error in BDFG while generating the interfaces after adding custom fields to CUSTOMER_H segment.
Any help would be appreciated.

Idocs not getting posted from XI to R/3

Hi guys,
We have set up a file-to-Idoc scenario that seems to work fine, but when the number of idocs to be posted in R/3 reaches a certain number, (3,500) all idocs are getting rolled back and nothing happens in R/3.
It seems to me that there should be a parameter to set this up.
Any ideas?

report RSEOUT00. To determine the package size, specify the maximum number of IDocs.
The number of IDocs in a file is specified by the parameter Maximum number of IDocs in the program RSEOUT00.

Idoc not getting transmitted

Hi,
Using a developed program, data is extracted from SAP system and sent as Idoc to another system.( No Middlewares)
We get Idocs generated having records ( segments) ranging from 1,000 to 40,000, and reaching the port with status "12- Dispatched to Port OK".
But when checking on the other system, we get idocs below 25000 records transmitted.
The Idocs above 25000 records are not getting transmitted, Even though their status display as "12", when checking at WE02.
The Idocs settings use RFC to transmit the data.
Can any one help, where the probable issue could be.
What are the settings can be checked.

Here check for errors if any. SM58 will help as suggested by Prateek. More about sm58 is here

Now you can also check error by st22 transaction in source system, error log will show all runtime errors.

RSEOUT00 - Idoc not getting processed

Hi All,
I have few idocs in prod.system with status 30 and they are not getting processed using RSEOUT00.
I tried using back ground job / forgrond / BD87 also but they are not getting converted to 03 status.
receiver port is xmlgen.
Any thing like idoc lock ? or something other that is preventing it process ?
Please let me know if anything.

idoc remains random in status 30
some of the common pointers looks to be locked IDOC (check in SM12), SM58 to see if anything is in the RFC queue (though I doubt that would be the case)..
How are you generating your idoc? standard FM or MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE?

In my requirement some of the idocs are not getting posted.The error message is "Balance not zero".Idoc type is "INVOIC01".In my requirement they told to look into the standard sap pgm"SAPLMRMC" in that FM MRM_AMOUNT_COMPARISON.Please give me suggestions to proceed.

Please check the invoice data that your are trying to send. From the error it seems that the IDoc is failing the data validations that must be placed in the program/FM that is used to generate/post the IDoc.

Idoc not getting posted into XI

Hello Experts,
I am trying IDoc-XI-File senario...
I have configured, ALE on backend system. Configured IDX1 and IDX2 in XI system.
At sender the Idoc has been sent without any errors.
But when I check in XI using SXMB_MONI there are no messages. Idoc is not getting posted into XI.
Please suggest as I am struck at this point. I am using XI 7.0

Kindly verify the ALE steps that you have performed...
Steps for ALE settings:-
Steps for XI
Step 1)
     Goto SM59.
     Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
     Give a suitable name and description.
     Give the Ip address of the R3 system.
     Give the system number.
     Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
     Go to the logon security tab.
     Give the lang, client, username and password.
     Test connection and remote logon.
Step 2)
     Goto IDX1.
     Create a new port.
     Give the port name.
     Give the client number for the R3 system.
     Select the created Rfc Destination.
Step 3)
     Goto IDX2
     Create a new Meta data.
     Give the Idoc type.
     Select the created port.
Steps for R3.
Step 1)
     Goto SM59.
     Create new RFC destination of type 3(Abap connection).
     Give a suitable name and description.
     Give the Ip address of the XI system.
     Give the system number.
     Give the gateway host name and gateway service (3300 + system number).
     Go to the logon security tab.
     Give the lang, client, username and password.
     Test connection and remote logon.
Step 2)
     Goto WE21.
     Create a port under transactional RFC.(R3->XI)
     Designate the RFC destination created in prev step.
Step 3)
     Goto SALE.
     Basic settings->Logical Systems->Define logical system.
     Create two logical systems(one for XI and the other for R3)
     Basic settings->Logical Systems->Assign logical system.
     Assign the R3 logical system to respective client.
Step 4)
     Goto WE20.
     Partner type LS.
     Create two partner profile(one for XI the other for R3).
     Give the outbound or inbound message type based on the direction.
Step 5)
     Not mandatory.
     Goto BD64.
     Click on Create model view.
     Add message type.
Step 6)
     Goto WE19
     Give the basic type and execute.
     fill in the required fields.
     Goto IDOC->edit control records.
     Give the following values.(Receiver port,partner no.,part type and sender Partner no. and type)
     Click outbound processing.
Step 7)
     Go to SM58
     if there are any messages then there is some error in execution.
     Goto WE02.
     Check the status of the IDOC.
     Goto WE47.
     TO decode the status code.
BD87 to check the status of IDOC.
In case if not authorized then go to the target system and check in SU53, see for the missing object
and assign it to the user.

Outbound IDOC not getting triggered while new master data is created

Hi Experts,
I am trying to trigger an outbound idoc for Cost Center master data when ever cost center is being created or cost center is being changed. (Usinf COSMAS)
I have successfully made use of change pointers and now able to trigger the idoc when ever Cost Center is getting changed. But while creating new Cost center, IDOC is not getting triggered.
I used the function module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_COSMAS for triggering the idoc.
Could one of you please let me what would have gone wrong? Since IDOC is getting triggered while changing the master data but not getting triggered while creating new master data.

Hello,
when you activate BD21 for a message type, it creates a entry in the SAP tables. that these Cost Centers have been sent already and any susequent changes to this will trigger a IDoc.
As for BD16, scheduling it wont help as, you need to specify the selection criteria, and i do not see how you will be able to dynamically get the selection criteria.
Try BD95, and BD59 to create a change pointer for a field, so when ever this fields is modified (new/updated) an idoc will be triggered.

Im triggering an idoc IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS immediately when i create/change the PO
However the idoc is getting generated when i change only certain fields.
When i change other fields it does not get triggered.

STPPOD.DELVRY03 idoc not getting generated

I have done the following settings for STPPOD.DELVRY03 but still idoc is not getting generated when i am posting goods reciept using VL32N
1) For Confirmation control key selected A-Always POD Relevant
2) For Item category ELN POD Relevant X and POD Automatic
SAP->Customizing Implementation Guide -> LogisticsExecution ->Shipping
->Deliveries ->Proof of Delivery ->Set POD-Relevance Depending on
Delivery Item Category
3) In Vendor Master the field "POD-Relevant" is assigned the value "A".
   4) In NACE settings
          Application:E1
          condition records & output type:OPOD
          Delivery type:EL
          Function:LS
4) In pratner profile
              Partner Type-->LS
              Partner Role --> blank)
               Message Type-->STPPOD
               Basic Type ->DELVRY03
              and under message control
              Application->E1
              Message Type
              Process code-->OPOD

Hi Gaurav,
Typically for STPPOD Idocs, the NACE and WE20 Settings are maintained at Vendor Level. Try changing your settings and see if it works.

Delivery IDOC not getting generated

Hi All,
I have created an outbound delivery IDOC. The process is that the idoc should be trigerred as soon as the delivery is created/changed or deleted. I am having an issue. The idoc is getting trigerred as soon as the delivery is getting created but not in the case of the delivery change.
I am not able to get the probable reason for that. Please let me know the probable reasons for that and where can i check that.

For this you have to use Change pointers concept.
see the explanation below
System will remeber every change for a table related to an IDOC. eg. if costcenters are changes. tables csck and cskt will change. Having a change pointer for IDOC type cosmas which reflects costcenters. Any change made by using the KS* transactions will now be recorded. Usinf the change pointers you can now generate IDOCS so that the changes are sent to the dependant systems.
use bd50 to acivate change pointers, use bd21 to generate idocs, use bd64 to determine the distribution of those idocs.
