IDoc ORDERS - Control Agent responsible

Is there a way to control who will be receiving a work item based on the sales organization in IDoc type ORDERS?
We have some Customers extended to multiple sales organizations.
We would have 1 CSR per sales organization.
However, in WE20, the post processing permitted agent is Customer specific.
We are presently maintaining a position as agent type in WE20.
We assign all possible CSR's user ID to this position via PPOM.
As a result, when a work item is generated, ALL CSRs are getting a work item (evern when it does not belong to them).
How could we be more specific and, based on the sales organization inside the IDoc, only send the work item to the business workplace of the affected CSR ?
We are on ECC5
Thank you for your assistance,
Arnaud

1. I created 1 org unit via PO10.
2. To which I assigned 2 positions created via PO13.  To both positions, I maintained the infotype SAP Organizational Object with both SAP org. object type BUS0006, BUS0006001 and BUS0006003.  The sales org value is unique to each posistion. (I.e.: Position P1 is for sales org 1111 and Position P2 for sales org 2222).
3. I assigned a unique SAP user ID to each position.
When I reprocess a faulty 850, the work item appears in each user's workplace.
My IDoc contains 1 segment E1EDK14 for sales org (QUALF = 008), for distribution channel (QUALF = 007) and for division (QUALF = 006).
What am I missing?
Note: We are not using CRM.
Thank you,

  • Security concern about grid control agent

I am planning for grid control rollout. Our system administrator is concerned about
security of grid control agent. For example, I do not know the Oracle password,
I sudo to Oracle after login as myself.
What are the options do I have ? I have told my system admin that
other companies use "oracle" - the database sysdba/software owner as agent owner.
But my system admin think this is a big security risk since he has to tell me the
    oracle password

In more explicit terms, what is the security concern you have?
Specifically, I do not see what you mean by the sentence:
when I install grid control agent as "oracle", I provide "oracle "password in order
to run job on our unix server.By "oracle" are you referring to the Oracle Software owner account, by which the Database and/or EM software was installed?
Please explain how the job is related to installation of management agent. If you are talking about running jobs after installation, when agent is configured and running, where and how exaclty are you required to enter "oracle" password?

  • RHEL4U4 EM64T Grid Control agent install issue

I've installed a 2 node Oracle 10G R2 RAC on RHEL4 U4 EM64T and it is working fine on Dell PE2850 servers. But I couldn't get the grid control agent installed on these RHEL4U4 EM64T PE2850 servers. The OMS server is running 32 bit Oracle 10g R2 on RHEL4. The issue is with the OMA (agent) install on EM64T and I've tried several different options (local install and push from the OMS server). I end up with the following error. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

I have modified my /etc/hosts file and the problem is solved.

  • 1390717.1 - 12c Cloud Control Agent: Is it possible to Re-configure ...

Can anyone get to this note "1390717.1: 12c Cloud Control Agent: Is it possible to Re-configure a 12c Agent to a Different 12c OMS Without Re-installation?"
I do a search in Metalink and I see it listed in "How to Point a 10g/11g Grid Agent to a Different Grid Control OMS and Repository without Re-installation? [ID 413228.1]" but that is the only doc a search returns.
I have a test environment with agents pointed to an old OMS 12c. I'd like to utilize the same agents but point them to our new, production, OEM 12c environment. Has anyone had any success with this? I've followed the 10g/11g OEM steps without luck, thus far (early testing).
I was excited to see "emctl switchOMS REPOSITORY_URL" in the emctl options until I read the next line...
    This command is not supported.

  • Grid Control agent install fails

    Hi all,
I'm trying to install Oracle Grid control agent on linux machine and getting the following error:

    : Success
My /tmp has 1.5 GB of free space so that's really not the issue here. I know that the installation goes well if I use the Universal Installer that comes bundled with 10G RDBMS, but on machines with Oracle 8.1.7.4-9.2.0.5 I wouldn't like to update OUI's because of this issue. Anyone having this problem/solution?
    Br,
    Anssi

The issue is not about silent install or temp or root.
I have installed Agent on Linux without issues after I read closely the oracle requirements on linux.
Make sure you read oracle linux requirement, there is a patch you need to download that will create proper setting for oracle on linux.
Try look for Application Server 10g installation guide, this patch is documented for Application Server 10g on linux.
The patch will create oracle.sh file that linux will run each time user oracle is activated.
If you still get problem let me know through forum or direct.
    Thanks
    George

  • Grid control agent for Solaris 10 x86-64

Are there any estimated release dates for a Solaris 10 x86-64 version of the grid control agent?

This is what I get from the SR...
"Date of availability for the Oracle Management Agent on Sun x64 Solaris 10 is Planned, but not yet available. Estimated date of release has not yet been disclosed. Sorry, there is no further information."
So it's possible to run a database on Solaris 10 x86-64 but there's no grid control agent. Lovely.

  • Reconfiguing Grid Control Agent on Solaris 8.

I would like to know if I change my IP and Hostname on my Solaris 8 server if I can reconfigure my grid control agent or do I have to reinstall the agent all together?

Hi, i have a machine with 2 IPs and each IP has it's own name registered on DNS. One is the same as hostname and the other one is used as service name for occasion when the production must be moved to another machine with different IP. In that case service name and service IP remains the same.
Is there a way to configure agent on the service IP instead the one registerd with hostname? Or perhaps change hostname in GC configuration to service name?
Because now, i have a situation that listener is listening on interface with service IP, and GC agent can't discover it.
    Any help is welcome. thanx.

  • IDOC ORDERS

    Hi Experts,
i need to distribute Purchase Order to another R3 system.
I'm using idoc ORDERS  the problem is the inbound in the receivers system.
When the idoc came in receiver system i have msg error "VKORG, VTWEG, SPART cannot be determined for customer MXT0 , vendor 201000".... this seems link to Sales Order process and not really to Purchase Order....???!!!
I tried to use these 2 inbound process code DELO and ORDE but problem still again...
    ANY IDEAS ?
    thanks

For The incoming Purchase order creation use
    the message type PORDCR
    The Basic type is PORDCR01
The process code should be BAPI.
The Function that calls internally for this is BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1.
Try to make use all these and try for your requirement.
    Please reward the points.

  • How use the contract reference in iDoc ORDERS

    Hello experts,
I would like to use the iDoc ORDERS in order to create a sales order in my system, with reference to a contract.
It's working pretty well when I want to copy all the items of the contract and modify quantities. But I can't find out how to create an oder with only one item from the contract (which got more than one item).
I thought I could use the Action code in segment E1EDP01, but the code seems to have no consequence.
Then, what I want to do is :
    1/ Create a contract with 3 items
2/ Create a sales order with reference to this contract but :
        - delete two of the items, when they have been normally copied, because of customizing
        - keep one item and modify quantity
Do you think this is possible plesae ?
    Thank you in advance
    Alex

    Hello Alex,
Perhaps note 562710 (ORDERS: Creating orders with reference by EDI) could help you here. It explains which segments and qualifiers should be used.
    I hope this helps.

  • VA01 - Transaction Launcher - Orders in Agent Inbox

    Hello Experts
I have configured the transaction launcher settings in the WEB UI - CIC. I can create the order (VA01), through the transaction launcher link.
But i want to SEACRH , VIEW and CHANGE that order (already created VA01 - ECC Order) in AGENT INBOX in WEB UI
How can i do that ?
    Kindly help.
    Regards
    DJ

Since it is an order created in the ECC System please check that the middleware settings are present for the replication/transfer of this order into the CRM System.
Once these orders are getting replicated into CRM, you will have to maintain settings for Agent Inbox for these orders (transaction type) to be available in the Inbox search.
There is the ERP Sales Order functionality that can show order history directly. But you will have to follow the same procedure specified above for these to be available in the Agent Inbox.

Thanks Lubiez Jean-Valentin! I think the point is here.
Configuring the Firewall to Allow Incoming Communication From the Management Service
While the Management Agents in your environment must upload data from your managed hosts to the Management Service, the Management Service must also communicate with the Management Agents. As a result, if the Management Agent is protected by a firewall, the Management Service must be able to contact the Management Agent through the firewall on the Management Agent port.
By default, the Enterprise Manager installation procedure assigns port 1830 to the Management Agent. However, if that port is occupied, the installation may assign an alternate port number.
After you determine the port number assigned to the Management Agent, you must then configure the firewall to allow incoming HTTP or HTTPS traffic (depending upon whether or not you have enabled Enterprise Manager Framework Security) on that port.
As I said already port 1830 was enabled. I did it because I saw that agent status - attached also here.
In case anybody know please tell me who to determine the port assigned to the Mangement Agent...
