Idoc ORDERS returned by PI with message "External Error Header Received"

Hello,
I would appreciate if somebody can help on this :
I'm sending idocs ORDERS05 from R/3 4.6C to PI 7.01.
Idocs are generated and sent successfully from R/3 but are not generated in PI.
From R/3, Idocs are visibible in T BD87 and are classified under "Idocs in target system" with :
- status 56 : "External Error Header Received"
- idocs have a number in R/3 but no partner idoc number
- Partner number is the purchase order vendor number
Thanks a lot for your help.
CCH

Hello,
Thanks a lot for those helpful replies.
Looking in the sxmb_moni, xml messages is blocked and error message is "Error while reading ID of own business system from
the SLD for system SND and client 320"
-I have ckecked the SLD and technical system SND-320 is well linked to business system SND-320.
-I have ckecked SM59 and tested the html link between XI and SNC but reply is "empty reply". Am I supposed to have a positive check at this point ?
-I have checked my distant user in SAP SNC and change its role to SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER_MAIN
Concerning we20 in XI, I can't declare an the HTTP connection SND-320, not recognized as a Logicial System
At this point, Idocs are reaching XI from R/3 but don't reach SNC.

Cédric

    yes,
you got crash aka shortdump in your system.
    - webserver: didn't crash, because it issued an error 500, so it works
    - remains either the soap runtime, which usually doesn't dump but throw errors and the application itself.
I'd look into the tracefiles (ST11) or tie the debugger to the service in question (SICF) and try to find out hat happens/d.

  • Can't send pictures with Messages, but I can receive them.

While chatting with a friend I was trying to send him a picture using the native Mountain Lion chat client Messages.
If he sends me a picture I first see a large grey rectangle with a progress indicator which gets replaced by the sent picture once it finished loading.
If I try to send a picture it appears in the chat immediately but then gets replaced by the file name. He only sees the file name the whole time.
Both of us have Mountain Lion installed and use Messages with firewalls disabled.
We both have a googletalk account and were using that as our Jabber Messages account.
Audiochat and Videochat works without problems. Text messaging works without problems.
The only issue is me not being able to send pictures using Messages, no matter if I drag the picture into the client with finder or with iPhoto.
Is Messages using any special ports that need to get routed through?

    HI,
Both of you should use the Window Menu to open the File Transfer Window.
You may list the item as "Failed"
    Uploaded with Skitch!
The other end may say "Waiting".
If they do say "waiting" then your Buddy should open Activity Monitor (Applications/Utilities) and find the IMTransferAgent and Quit it from inside Activity Monitor
The four lower items were testing between a Jabber account and  a Google ID  ( File appears twice as the "To" and "From" in this case)
I do find my Google account tends to be the most unreliable in File Transfers or Pics-in-Chats

  • Upgrade from Visual Studio 2013 to Vs 2015 ends with unrelsoved external error

    Hello,
    I've installed VS 2015 CTP 6.
We used to work with with VS 2013.
When i try to compile our projects i get unresolved error for memset.
It is related to the  change of the run time libs.
When i add vcruntime.lib as additional lib the error resolved.
it means that  linker did no search at vcruntime.lib (probably look only at msvcrt.lib)
When i create a new project with VS2015 it worked(it was looking for vcruntime.lib).
I can add thos libs to all projects, but i thought(hoped :) ) there is a better way to do it.
    thanks,
    Lior

    Hello liorb,
It seems your issue is related to C++ 2015 so I moved it here. If your VS2015 and VS2013 are both on the same machine I recommend you follow pvdg42's advice to report this issue to connect and share the link back to here. Maybe it is a problem with
    this beta version.

Pls help me in fixing this issue.

Where, EXACTLY, did you purchase it? If you did not purchase it directly from Apple, then it was not an unlocked phone. The ONLY source for unlocked phones in the UK is directly from Apple.
If you purchased it second hand, it was likely hacked to unlock it based on the error you're getting.
If you believe there is a hardware problem, then take it to an Apple store in the UK and have it checked.

  • Socket error on receive message on MDM 7.1 Console

    Greetings -
This may be a simple question, but I couldn't find a solution, so here goes:
I have a new install for MDM:
    OS: B.11.31 U ia64 (HP Unix)
    MDM: 7.1.0.5
    DB: Oracle 10.2.0.4
    MDM Console Client : 7.1.0.5.92
I have MDM server and database on same server.  When I go to connect to the server
and create a repository for the first time, I get the message "Socket error on receive".
This happens when I go to set my DBMS Settngs as well ...
I didn't see that on my Suse Linux 10 install.
I am looking at the logs, but I don't see what / why the initial call does not go through to the
database to set up connection.  I have also put in fake SYSTEM / Password in the settings
and I get the same message.  It seems that it doesn't get to the point where it authenticates
    to the database(??).
I do have a core file.  If I do a 'strings' on the core file, it appears that there is a connection
trying to happen.  In the nohup.out file, I see this:
    [[excerpt]]
[[INFO]] <MDM/Servers/MDS/MDSCommon/XCSGlobalFunctions.cpp:410> "User authentication method: Repository"
ConnectionAcceptor::ConnectionAcceptor(): bind() failed with errno=0x000000E2 'Address already in use'
    Trying again for 120 seconds
    [/excerpt]
Though this could be a misleading message ...
    Few question:
How can I determine how to trace / see how the Console is trying to connect to the
    MDM server / database?
How can I figure out what address this is talking about?
Is this just a vague error or should I be looking somewhere specific for troubleshooting?
    Please advise!
    Thanks!

Edited by: Shaunn Johnson on Nov 12, 2010 9:20 PM

    Everyone -
We have a solution, however, it introduces a lot of new things that will require some
investigation.  Before I go to that level, let me tell you what we did to resolve:
    Recap:
Our MDM installation is on a shared OS (HP Unix) environment.  It is not virtual.  In short,
we have one large server and multiple application that have their own logical IP Addresses
    and hostnames.
When trying to connect from the MDM console (laptop/workstation/etc), through the application
(MDM server) to the database (on the HP Unix system) and create a repository, this is where we
see the 'Socket on receive' error.
    Solution:
As per SAP "Note 1264660 - MDM on HP-UX IA crash when used with Oracle 10.2.0.4 client",
part of the problem is because of how Oracle binds to a specific socket.  By itself, that
solution did not work.  This effects the server side, too.  The next steps to fix this were to:
extract the SAP OCL10264.SAR files in the shared client directory (/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient)
backup the library files from the server-level area of Oracle (/oracle/<SID>/102_64/lib)
stop Oracle, the listener and MDM
copy the SAP OCI files (as noted in  1264660) to the /oracle/<SID>/102_64/lib directory also
    verify the Oracle environment variables
restart all systems and services (Oracle, MDM, listener)
Of course, your oracle library paths will vary.  Check your LD_LIBRARY_PATH for that location.
We also learned that if we set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to where the
oracle client library files were (client side), things should work.  We did try that, but it did
not work.  At least, we tried it once and started to test other things (including our solution).
Feel free to try that option and update this thread.
Our solution was to copy those files directly into our server path and try again.
Thanks to everyone who took time to look at this!

  • Message 'Connection error' plus white cross on red on startup of firefox

On starting FIrefox, it takes quite a long time - eventually fires up but with message 'Connection Error' in top right hand corner. IE fires up OK - connection stopped & restarted, same message in Firefox - can access Internet sites, etc, but seems slow - no apparent problem with actual connection

Type '''about:config''' in the Location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key. When you see a warning, click '''I'll be careful, I promise!''' button.
-> right-click somewhere, click '''New''' -> select '''String'''
    * name it '''xpinstall.enabled''' and set the value to '''True'''
-> Close the '''about:config''' tab and then Restart Firefox.
All the downloads should work now. If you delete this value some time later it still works.
Check and tell if its working.

  • Issue: "No Authorization to send Idocs with message type Orders" - IDX5

    Hi All,
I am working on a File to IDoc(Orders.Orders05) scenario. The sender is PI Server and the receiver is the SAP ISR system. A technical system has been created in PI SLD for the ISR system and a Business system is added to that. The logical system created in ISR system using Tcode BD54 is added to the business system in PI. A new RFC destination is created in PI system to connect to the ISR system.
On the ISR system Partner profile is created using TCode we20 with the same logical system name already created using Tcode BD54.
When sxi_monitor is executed on the PI system, It shows checked flag on the Inbound side and Red flag on the Outbound side. And when idx5 is executed, it shows the new Idoc number and when it is double clicked, it shows the Status Text as
"No Authorization to send IDocs with message type Orders".
All authorizations have been provided on the Sender side.
Please let me know if any authorization need to be provided on the ISR system or Is this an error on any settings.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Stalin S.

    Hi,
Check this Thread which deals with the Authorization Issue
    RFC Adapter
And also check this how to check whether u have sufficient authorization to send the Idocs or not
    To test the Authorization check
Double click the RFC Destination that u have created in XI towards R/3 in SM59
    Select UtilitiesTestAuthorization test
By this you can come to know whether your user is having the propper authorization or not

  • Creation of Custom IDoc with Message control for sales Order

    Hi all,
I am trying to create custom Outbound IDoc with message control.
I wrote the code in a function module and i want to register that function module. (as in inbound registration of function module as in BD51).I am not knowing if that registration is necessary for outbound Idoc, if so in which transacition?
Please list me the steps to create a custom IDoc for Message control.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,

    Hi,
You need to use FM : MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to create outbound idoc.fill the data in the tables EDIDC,EDIDD and generate the IDOC.
    check this link:
    Re: Master_IDoc_Distribute
and use transaction : WEDI for IDOC configurations.
here you will have all the transactions(step by step) to set the outbound IDOC configurations.

  • IDOC Orders with Barcode

How is it possible to sumbit a barcode with the idoc ordersxx.
I have the scanned order in the archive and an external barcode in the table BDS_BAR_EX. The SAP system automatically make the archlink entries in the table TOA01 if the order is created with a barcode value.
    Thanks,
    Alexander

    Hi Alexander,
looks like you are struggling with an extension of document service of transaction VA01, which wasn't done for the IDOC.
    1) I don't think this will be enough - then you have a DB entry without additional action. If you would call the popup logic in your RFC, you might get what you need. But popups aren't background enabled... Maybe you can use some logic from inside.
    2) See above: populating some additional tables via IDOC customer segments won't be enough, you have to run through some additional logic. But this might also be possible inside a customer extension.
But first of all: search your documentation of document service, maybe there is a different way for background order creation. Otherwise it's worth a try to ask OSS / create a development request.

  • Message Ordering with Message Listeners

We have three Message Listeners listeners listening to JMS Queue
for processing messages sent to the queue. Let us assume the listeners as L1,L2
and L3. And lets says there are three
messages that have been submitted to the queue in the order M1,M2 and M3. M1 goes
to L1,M2 to L2 and M3 to L3. Everything is fine. When L2 finishes processing M2
faster than the other two listeners, M4 which is submitted later does not get
              processed
by L2. Instead it gets processed by L1. This is a very bizarre
behaviour as it does not utilize the available lsitener L2.
Is there any configuration setting which can change this behaviour??Or is this
a Weblogic 7.0 Bug. Any help on this greatly appreciated.
              Thanx,
              Sankas

              Zach,
Thanx a lot for your response. I have been trying to crack this
for the past few days and does not seem to work. I have tried your suggestion
of 3listeners and 6 messages. It did not do the trick. I even tried 10 messages.
Still messages 1,4 and 7 go to the first listener even though it is not ready
              to process them.
And thanx for the neat explaination on the MessagesMaximum thing. Actually I tried
setting to 0 and the server does not start up properly.
To me this issue seems to be pretty big. At least from our
implementation point of view as the messages are not delivered
to the available listener. Is'nt there a workaround for this??
By telling the server that it does not want to be send any more incoming messages.
I have tried all sorts of closes and stops on the connection and session objects.
None of them work as the spec says they wait until the Message Listener returns
              and by
the time it returns messages are already cached on the listener.
So I would greatly appreciate if BEA can come up with a workaround for this
as it is very crucial for our deployment. I am little bit surprised if this issue
              hasn't come up before.
              Thanx,

    Hi Experts,
We have duplicate orders generated for E Type products at a particular locations. When I went into the CCR then one error was observed - Planned Order Missing in R3 with External Key (CCR Error 154). And all the duplicate orders which were of PPDS Orders only came into the CCR log.
Request you all that if anyone has any information regarding this then please reply.
    Thanks and Regards
    Joseph

    Hi,
This error occurs in cases where order is deleted in APO and not deleted in R3.
Reason and steps to be followed in CCR:
Orders once deleted in APO wil have change pointer R and orders created in APO which has to flow to R3 will be having change pointers C.
In this case you need to follow the steps mentioned below.
step 1 select change pointers icon x then do iteration . This will delete the orders in R3 and bot R3 and APO will be in sync.
w/o selecting change pointers icon X if we do the iteration you will get PPDS planned orders in APO since  orders to be deleted in R3 is not actually deleted and flow back to APO and hence you will have duplicate orders.
step 2 select orders with change pointers C , seletc the change pointers icon X and do the iteration.
This will publish the orders in R3 and will return back to APO.
In your case step 1 was not followed and hence you are getting duplicate orders.
    Thanks,
    nandha
