Idoc probelm when updating form ods to cube

hi sdn,
I had created ods from which data is going to cube,the data is successfully loaded in ods but not in cube, actually data is also loaded in cube i can see records in cube but with yellow status and error s like this:-
Entry in inbound table not found
Message no. E0414
Diagnosis
No inbound partner profile could be found with the following key:
/HSECLNT100/LS//RSINFO////
The key consists of the following fields:
SNDPRN partner number
SNDPRT partner type
SNDPFC partner function

Hi,
obviously your sourcesystem - connection is corrupted.
check in we20, if you have an entry for logical system for your BW-System. If it is another than the one you're logged on, we're dealing with an system copy. Please the refer to the relevant OSS-Notes.
Otherwise go to trc RSA1 onto the "myself" source system.
context-menu -> check. You'll the get a more detailed message.
How to go ahead the:
open the system via trc Scc4.
check the User assigned as Background user => usually BWREMOTE and the authorisations assigned (if in doubt, assig sap_all, sap_new).
get the password for BWREMOTE from your systemadmin.
Go to RSA1 - > sourcesystem -> contextmenu -> restore an follow the proceedings.
Make sure that your authorisations are sufficient as well.

We are working on BW 3.5
for FI GL line items we are loading the data to ODS and than to Cube.
earlier there was a process chain failure 2 months back so delta were stuck for 2 months now about 10 million records have been uploaded in ODS but when i am tryint to upload these records to CUBE via delta upload its giving Error

Goto Master data
Select the required test
Select your Infoobject
Execute the test
You will get the result with errors or no errors
If you get errors, then you click "Correct Error" button.

Problem with update from ODS to Cube

Hi All,
I had an issue, when i was loading from ODS to Cube everything was fine except one data package failed coz of some object locked( User : myself, though i wasn't running anything else except this), but i check in SM12 no locks exist for that particular time.
apparently the load failed coz of this single package, its a load from ODS to Cube, so no chance of Manual update from PSA.
any suggestion: do i have to repeat that load all over again( sucks !!! it is for 40 mil)

Check the Job log fro ur Job in the SM37 and check for that Datapackage is there any thing failed liek
"ARFCSTATE-SYSFAIL" if this is there .. it means its an Deadlock .. please check the ST22 dump...
U can use the PSA...
1) go to the 8ODS infosource and copy the Delta IP
2) check the option in the processsing as Update PSA and the subsequently into the data targets
3) Schedule the IP manually

Error when loading from ODS to Cube

Hello Friends,
I am having trouble loading data from ODS to Infocube in my 2004S system.When loading data i get this message
07/03/2007     13:10:25     Data target 'ODSXYZ ' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable.
07/03/2007     13:28:42     Data target 'ODSXYZ ' is not active or is incorrect; no loading allowed
I checked for ODSXYZ in my data target but there is nothing by that name.Even the infopackage doesnt have it.What needs to be done.Please help.

Its a expected behavior. When you migrate ur DS, the infopacks associated with it, will grey out all the data targets that they were feeding before, that applies to any infopack you create even after the migration. You womt be able to delete it.
Having said this, this shouldnt impact ur loads from ODS to Cube. As this shoudl be taken care of by ur DTP's rather than ur infopacks.
A few questions:
How are you loading ur cube?
Did the data get thru fine to PSA with the infopack in question?
How did you load ur DSO(assuming the load was successful)?

Update data form ODS to cube/ODS

HI,
we are in 3.5
we get delta records from the data source 2lis_02_itm to the ods 0pur_o01.
and from the ods 0pur_o01 the data will be updated to the data targets 0pur_c07,0pur_c08,0pur_o02.
when we observed on 23.04.2008,there is a bad request on 18.04.2008,so all the requests from 18th are not available for reporting,and the data mart status(tick mark) in the ODS 0PUR_O01 is not available
today we deleted the red(18.04.2008) request from ODS 0PUR_O01,and activated the ODS,now all the requestes are available for reporting.
the issue is data is not further getting updataed into the data targets from the ODS 0PUR_O01 to 0pur_c07,0pur_c08,0pur_o02
Please give the solution to resolve the issue

As I understood ur problem there was one request loaded to ODS 0PUR_O01 and on top of it there are still some requestes loaded and they were fine, now you have deleted the bad request in between. isn't it like that??
1. If there is a bad request in ODS data will not be loaded further, means no requests exists in cube from 18th onwards
Sol: In this case you have to delete all the requests from ODS and have to load from PSA starting from 18th (failed one 1st and then in sequence as they were laoded to BW), then activate the ODS, these activated requests will not have datamart tick mark. Then u schedule delta load to other data targets...

Inbound idoc values when updated from user exit not saved

I'm trying to process some user exits of an inbound idoc from WE19.
The values get correctly populated to IDOC_DATA internal tables of IDOC_INPUT_ORDRSP function module in debug kode
but when the new idoc is generated from WE19 , those segment values (populated by exit) are not shown/saved.
The user exit is EXIT_SAPLEINM_007.
Is it not possible to populate segment values of inbound idocs from using user exits. If yes , then during testing using WE19 , every time a new idoc is created it should display those values into the concerned segments. Please help.

Problems when updating form quicktime version 5 to 7 with longman diction

Hi,
as a new user I have a question.
I installed the CD-ROM of longman contemporary english on my PC (Windows XP). It also installed quicktime version 5.
It worked fine, until I updated quicktime to version 7.1.3 Since then it says:
"The Quicktime Plug-in requires the QuickTime System extention version 5 or later"
Pressing Ok in the messagebox gives the following message
"This document cannot be displayed unless you install the Personal Security Manager (PSM)"
Trying to find a solution on the quicktime website or on the longman website did not provide me with an answer.
Can anybody of you help me with this problem?

Delta Load failure from ODS to Cube

Experts,
After CRM upgrade, I had to reinitilized the delta process. In this, I reloaded ODS with first init delta without data and then delta load with new data created in CRM. This worked good so far. After this when I tried to load cube with init. delta without data, no issues. But delta load from ODS to Cube doesn't work. Does anybody have any suggestions, please?

Data Packets or Info Packets are missing in BW, but there were - as far as can be seen - no processing errors in the source system. It is
therefore probable that an error arose in the data transfer.
With the analysis an attempt was made to read the ALE outbox of the source system, which lead to error .
It is possible that no connection exists to the source system.
Procedure
Check the TRFC overview in the source system.
Check the connection of the source system for errors and check the
authorizations and profiles of the remote user in both the BW and
source systems.

As far as i understood, you have successful deltas' loading to the ODS and you want to update entire ODS data to the Cube followed by daily delta's.
If this is the case,
Make sure that you have active update rules exist between ODS and Cube.
First goto your ODS and right click and select option 'Update ODS data in data target'.
Select Init update > IT will take you to the init info package where you select init with data transfer (Init with data transfer will bring all the records from ODS to Cube)
Once init is completed ,you can schedule to load delta's regularly form ODS to Cube by following the same steps.

Push from ODS to cube taking a long time

I've created a new ODS that pushes data to a new cube. I am trying to load 3000 records and its taking over 30 minutes, and I can never get it to complete successfully. When I look in sm50, there is nothing running. The are no short dumps in st22. But when I look in sm21 I get the following:

My update rules between the ODS and cube are very straightforward. All fields are a direct mapping to the ODS, no routines. I have a start routine, but when I comment out the entire start routine and run the update between ODS and cube, I still get the same issue. We are on version 3.5.
Any suggestions?

Hi,
Try "generate export data source" from ODS and load the data. Sometimes there is problem in DDIC tables and structures are not generated properly.

DATA_PACKAGE between ODS and Cube

Hi SDNs,
I try to do the simulated update from ODS to Cube in the monitor of cube.there are two data packages under processing item.The first one ( A1 ) contains 39393 records, and the second one( A2 ) contains 32872 records.
Then I search the infosource generated by ODS( 8 * ), I find there are 4 data packages ( B1 19391,B2 20002,B3 19595,B4 13277) under the same request number, so it seems that one data package in the monitor contains two ones under the infosource(8*).
My issue is that when I dubugging the data package under monitor, I can only find B1 in A1 and B3 in A2, the B2 and B4 are disappeared...
Why?

Probably because you did not use the PSA to upload the data.

We should find out the reason for uploading error. We can get the information sonetimes form M0nitor or from SM21 or from ST22. So find the cause of failure first.Then we can think about the solution to that problem.

Error when initializing the Transaction data From ODS to CUBE.

   we have initialized the load from source system to ODS. the load was successful, and when loading from ODS CUBE(initialization). it is giving the following message.
No SID found for value '0000436038' of characteristic 0CUST_SALES.
We have updated the master data of 0CUST_SALES (DELTA UPDATE).
but still getting the same message when updating the data packets from PSA. I am unable to find the reason.
Please let me know is there any other solution.

   I have loaded master data for all the objects you have mentioned( atributes and texts). but still data packets are not getting updated. it is giving the message.
   i have also tried the elementary tests and combined tests of 0CUST_SALES, in RSRV. there were no errors found.
these data targets were newly implemented. would it be problem with routines or any other means.
Please let me know ASAP.

Record increased when sending data from ODS to cube

when i am sending data from ODS - CUBE i am sending 20 records of full update but in my cube i
am able to see 200 records, in those records i am getting the old records.Everytime i load the data i am getting the same problem its fetching all the old records.Please suggest me what to do inorder to reslove this problem.

Hi,
TO delete the PSA Table record details follow these steps,
Right click your ODS/CUBE and choose "Show dataflow diagram" on right side panel click "Techincal Settings" ON and you can get your PSA table name. Type this table name in SE11 and delete your records.
OR
IN RSA1 --> PSA choose your infosource and choose PSA and right click and choose delete PSA data.

Updating the last date request from ODS to CUBE

Dear Friends,
Please can someone explain me.
i allways update request from ods to cube, sometime there will be 3 to 4 request in the ods which wont have the Data mart (Tick) and when i update it to the cube. i can only see 1 request which is current date request. i dont know whether the previous days request has been updated to the cube.???
but i see in the ODS that all the data mart (tick) is available for all the request.
And please can someone explain me, if i have many request in the ods, current date previous day and so on.
Is there any way to update in such a way, where i can see all the dates in the Cube instead of only 1 request with current date in the cube.
when i delete the request from the cube and remove the tick from the ods, and refresh, then suddenly the current request and all the previous request TICK will be gone...

if you know everday how many request are getting updated in infocube as one request the you can check the added records in infocube .. it should be equal to the sum of all those request ..
but transferred can be more or equal .. also its depends on the
update rules ..designing ..
