IDOC Scenario: System not configured as XI integarton engine

Hello Experts,
I have beeen trying to solve this since a few days.
I have created an IDOC scenario  from SAP ECC s/m to PI 7.0.
The IDOC is being sent successfully fron SAPECC with status 03 in Transaction WE05.
But in PI 7.0 I am not able to view these messages anywhere in WE05.
SXMB_MONI of PI 7.0 shows an error record for previous trials and shows error status (red) as "System not configured as XI integration engine"
I have already set configuration parameters on PI7.0 in SXMB_adm.
Your suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Elizabeth.

Hi,
you can check in PI:
- TCODE - SXMB_ADM
- integration server
- edit - change global config - check if you have: integration server set

  • Generated Proxy Error: System not configured as XI Integration Engine

    Dear all,
    Using transaction SPROXY I generated a proxy on a Message Interface.
    This generated as well a method and the associated class.
    When I run it, trying to send data through all this, I get the following error:
    <b>System not configured as XI Integration Engine</b>
    Here is the model I got on another thread, in order to catch the error text:

    Anyone has any idea where this error commes from?
    I am mostly wondering whether the problem comes from my outbound system or XI configuration?
    Thanks a lot, have a nice day!

    Hi Rajesh,
    you can go through these chek steps
    1)go to SLD-->Business systems...and check the role of business system Web AS ABAP (tht was created during installation)...check if the role is integration server
    2) go to sxi_cache and in the menu tool bar goto "GoTo" and click AE cache and see if the link is fine? whether the link in sxi_cache for AE cache is showing green traffic signal and  also perform a delta refresh.
    3)Check whether your business system is tied to the integration server in SLD.
    4)In the transaction sxmb_adm -> Integration Engine Configuration can you check whether that role has been defined as Integration Server.
    hope these checks will solve your problem
    Thanks

    PS:If helpful Plz reward points
    Also you may check whether in specific configuration you may need to add Category as Runtime Engine_Type and current value as HUB.

  • Error: System not configured as Integration Engine

    Hi ,
    I was trying to simulate the following scenario in SAP XI:
    HTTP--> SAP XI --> (RFC/BAPI)SAP R/3
    Let me clear what i did.
    I have to call a BAPI using RFC adapter in XI to display some information on a request of some Http app.
    1. I have Imported the RFC BAPI into IR.
    2. I have created the XSD files for http Re and res messages.
    3. I have created the XSLT mapping programs and put them in a zip file and imported into IR.
    4. I have created a Interface mapping and assign the created messages and mapping programs.
    5. In ID i have created a Business service for my web application.
    6. Receiver determination created in Id and Interface determination and receiver agreement in ID and activated the changes.
    7. I have tested the same by sending the request from my web application to xi plain http adapter as follows:
    http://grserver:8000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?bs=XIWS_web&namespace=urn%3Axi%3Asap%3Awebapp&interface=HTTP_out&qos=BE
    and in the result i have got the following error:
    "System not configured as Integration Engine"
    but i have tried it many times and some times it gives me correct results but after that the same error ios coming.
    so can you tell me what could be wrong in the configuration of XI of what is the solution for this problem.

    Hi,
    What is the version of XI you are using? If u are usign XI2.0, ur URL is correct. But if you are using XI3.0 then use <b>service</b>=<SENDERSERVICE>instead of
    <b>bs</b>=<SENDERSERVICE> parameter in your URL.
    <b>bs</b> is replaced by <b>service</b> in XI3.0
    Your URL will be http://grserver:8000/sap/xi/adapter_plain?<b>service</b>=XIWS_web&namespace=urn%3Axi%3Asap%3Awebapp&interface=HTTP_out&qos=BE
    Hope this helps you.

  • Error with Transport system not configured that may be related to CHaRM

    Who has in depth knowledge on setting up SAP Solution Manager CHaRM. Had an odd problem with the transport system failing when the QA system was shut down for maintenance. Transports were not able to be created or save to.  Error message was Transport System not configured.  Brought up QA and re-distributed system and Transport group and transport requests started working again.

    Hello,
    if a system, e.g. QA system, will not be available due to a maintenance task,
    we set the status of this system to "temporarily inactive" (see header data in transaction SMSY).
    This status allows us, to create new transport requests in DEV-System although consolidation system QA is not available.
    (Of course you have to reset the status, when QA-system ist started again.)
    Hint: it is not possible to release or to import a transport request, when consolidation system is shut down.
    Therefore the developer should pay attention to the messages, which raise in urgent corrections.

  • B2B scenario with IDocs, sender system not in SLD

    Hello all
    When sending a purchase order IDoc (ORDERS05) out of SAP ECC 6.0 I get the following error in SM58:
    No service for system SAPPEE, client 200 in Integr ation Directory
    Message no. SR053
    Until now I did not register the SAP ECC 6.0 system in the SLD. Is this absolutely mandatory?
    The RFC-Destinations work like a charm, the user (type C) and authorizations (for now SAP_ALL) should be ok (same settings in XI and SAP ECC system).
    In the integration directory I defined a partner "IDOC_SENDER" with the following identifiers:
    Agency = http://sap.com/xi/XI
    Scheme = XIParty
    Name = IDOC_SENDER
    Agency = PEE_200 (SID with client from customers system)
    Scheme = ALE#LI#LF
    Name = 0000601140 (this is the vendor id from customers point of view)
    Agency = AEE_200 (SID with client from vendors system)
    Scheme = ALE#KU
    Name = 0000001011 (this is the customer id from vendors point of view)
    Within this partner "IDOC_SENDER" I defined a business service "Order" and assigned ORDERS.ORDERS05 as allowed outbound-interfaces.
    Within this business service "Order" I defined a sender communication channel "Order_send_IDOC" with adapter type IDoc.
    Based on this I created a receiver determination, interface determination, etc.
    I also configured things in IDX1, IDX2. The metadata (structure info of idoc type ORDERS05) was successfully loaded.
    Did I miss something? What to do to eliminate this error:
    No service for system SAPPEE, client 200 in Integr ation Directory
    Message no. SR053
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance
    Renaud

    I think there are some mis-configurations:
    defined a business service "Order" and assigned ORDERS.ORDERS05 as allowed outbound-interfaces.
    You do not define a business service when IDOC/ RFC/ PROXY is sender/ receiver
    It should be Business System and it has to be defined in SLD and then imported in ID. (search on SDN for How to create Business System )
    defined a sender communication channel "Order_send_IDOC" with adapter type IDoc.
    You do not create Sender channel when IDOC/ PROXY is sender.
    I would suggest that you follow steps mentioned in this wiki: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/SAPR3%28Idocs%29ToXI--Steps+Summarized

    Abhishek.

  • File to idoc scenario error - not working yet :(

    Hello! I'm trying to make changes in business partner record in CRM using idoc CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M01
    I have an error 56 EDI: Partner profile not available.
    In Control record in we02 transaction, I have right Partner number for Recipient information - logical system name like CRM has in SLD.  But there is no Port.
    In Sender information I have right Partner number, like my filesystem business system has in SLD and have a port SAPP1D - but  I have nowhere entered it!
    And one more little question. In we20 transaction am entering inbound parameters for partner:
    CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE
    CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M
    1) Is this right inbound parameters for my idoc?
    2) What Process code should I use ?

    Hi,
    in XI in IDX1 transaction, maintain a port for CRM system specifying the CRM port and the client and the RFC destination from XI to CRM system.......moreover if you are using apply control record values from payload option in reciver IDOC comm channel, then in the IDOC control record in msg mapping map the sender port to CRM port, partner number as logical system of CRM ie C2DCLNT100 and partner type as LS..........then when you will re-run your scenario, your IDOC will have CRM port also in the control record..........
    in CRM system your WE20 for LS for XI should have as an inbound parameter your IDOC - which i think you have already done.........
    One more thing - put everything in uppercase letters everywhere in msg mapping in control record data, in we20 setting etc.

  • ALE Configurations in File to IDOC Scenario

    ALE Configurations done:

  • ** File to IDoc scenario - IDoc not created in target system

    Hi friends,
    We are doing File to IDoc scenario. We made required setting in both application as well as XI system. While test the scenario, the file is picked up and successfully processed in SXMB_MONI, but the inbound IDoc is not created in target system. What could be the problem?
    We are using DEBMAS message type DEBMAS06 IDoc type. We checked the following.
    1) SM59 - Connections are OK both application and XI system
    2) IDX1 - In XI System, we have assigned SAP<R/3> port.
    3) IDX2 - IDoc is imported.
    4) In ID - Sender File - Business Service - Adapter-Specific Identifier - Logical System name is given.
    5) In application system. - Partner Profile maintained correctly.
    6) SM58 - There is no error.
    So, what could be the reason ?
