Idoc Structure onto Excel or Word formats

Iam preparing mapping document and like to get the idoc structure onto Word document or excel spreadsheet. Please tell me how to do it. WE60 giving me Html format. But I need it in tabular format either in Word or Excel.Thanks for all help

Hi,
vety often IDOCs have many fields/segments
but in real life you don't you all of them
(very often just a a FEW of them)
it's not use to put all of them in
a mapping document so I just add new fileds/delete old
to older mapping documents
(of course via XML idoc from repository) it takes a few minutes...

Hi cyberjames,
Do you get an error message when you try to export your file? Or, are you continually asked to subscribe when you try to convert a link? If it's the latter, it could be that you just haven't signed in to the app yet. Try this:
From the ExportPDF website, click Sign in at the upper-right corner, and log in to the service with your Adobe ID credentials. Now, when you click ExportPDF, you'll be prompted to select PDF files to export, instead of being asked to subscribe.
If you're receiving an error message when you try to log in, let us know what it is, and we can go from there.

I have two queries.
1.I need to import idoc structure from excel file not from sap, is it possible ?
2 what are the detalied steps to implement following SAP note for getting processed file name at runtime.

You want to access the name of a file sent through a File Adapter Sender channel from a custom developed XI module.

Reason and Prerequisites
The functionality described in this note requires SP 9 or higher of the component XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK CORE 3.0.
Solution
The File Adapter passes the name of the processed file to the module processor. This information is available in a Hashtable object accessible as as supplemental module data under the name "module.parameters" within the module's 'process' method.
For further information, please take a look at the example code below:

Yes and No; If the structure in the Excel sheet is defined in XSD format (XML schema) then it should be possible to import it assuming you are using XI 3.0. In 2.0 this is not possible.
Not sure if in XI 3.0 you are allowed to import Excel files straight forward into XI.

I'm not quite sure but this looks to me like you have to implement this within a Java custom function/mapping...
The data (in this case the filename) is encapsulated in a Hashtable object available during runtime.

How can I embed files of word, excel, and pdf format in a pdf document

I have a word document of the product, which I am updating for next product release. However, there are some excel, word, and pdf files embedded within a word document. When I double click these embedded files in word, these files open in a new window. However, we deliver documentation to the customer in the pdf format. Therefore, when I am converting the word document in the pdf format, only an icon of the embedded file is displayed and the files do not open in a new window. Can someone let me know how can I embed these files (in word, excel, and pdf format) in a pdf document?

You must attach them to the PDF file after it is created. You cannot embed file attachments onto a page as you can with Word.

Linking Excel to Word - Word doc updates the numbers in a table but the format (font colours) do not update

I am using Office 2010. I have many graphs and linked tables to a master word document from Excel. The tables contain percentages and are formatted red if under -2.5%, yellow if between -2.5% and +2.5% and green if over +2.5%. The colours are correct
in Excel but when I refresh the word document, the numbers update but the font colours do not. The purpose of linking was to save time but if the colours do not update then the link is pointless. Is there any way to ensure the colours update as well as the

In regarding of the issue, I have a couple of questions:
Do you mind telling me how do you copy/link between Excel and Word?
Where did you store the Word and Excel file? Both of local disk or network drive, even website?
Did you using conditional formatting to display/format percentages?
Based on my tested, please try the following steps, it would be update all the information after the source was changed.
Select the table/chart in Excel> Open word >Copy>Paste>Choose Link & Keep Source Formatting.(See image 1)
If we changed the source data in Excel, then right click the table in Word> Choose update Link. (See image 2)
Then the data, format, font and color all will be updated.

How to see the IDOC structure in XML format

Hi, I am ver new to MII. I configured connection between SAPand SAP MII and IDOC is triggering in SAP MII. I can see the idoc triggered in Message monitor.
Now my query is how to see the IDOC structure in XML format? I written a transaction where I am assigning transaction.xml to my Local.xml and trying to display with message action block. When I display the message I am getting message as below

There is no data in the xml, but in SAP side i seen data and segment which sent to MII as a IDOC. Please help me how to resolve this issue.

Error while exporting crystal report to excel format or word format

i am using vs 2010 and sap crystal report(version 13.0.0.99) for vs 2010. when i export report to excel(97-2003 format) from crystalreportviewer, i am getting error that application has stopped working. I also have ms-office 2007 install on my pc.

Excel Graph Legend Formatting - Report Generation Tool

Hi all,
I'm currently using the Report Generation Tool for Labview '11 and cannot seem to figure out how to edit the font properties for a graph's legend. Attached is a screenshot of an example output.
The Excel Graph Font.vi's Help file says that it should be able to modify the legend, yet I can't seem to figure out how to configure it to do so. If anyone can walk me through the steps or tell me what I am missing, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The Word object model is probably the most complicated of the Office suite and you are loosing the calculation ability of Excel.

Since OS X Yosemite upgrade, cannot share document from pages in word format. Therefore document cannot be opened by non apple user. How do I get around this please?

Since the OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 update to my iMac (27 inch, Mid 2010) , I can no longer "share" a document from Pages in word format via email. It can be sent as an att but then as "Pages" cannot be accessed by a non apple receiver. Please what is the answer, the old method was fast, simple and efficient.

Are you using the File > Export function? It will deposit a Word document onto your desktop (or any folder you choose) and then you can attach it to your email.

I have just upgrade the creative cloud CC version and upgrade the acrobat pro to XI version.
when I convert a pdf file to word format, it show the error "Save As failed to process this document. No file was created."
Actually, I have delete the image, use other pdf file and download a sample pdf file to test it. Same error is shown. I have try all the other format , like the excel, rtf, text, powerpoint, still same thing happen.
Please show me what else I can do to fix this problem.

Export to Word Format BUG - Pages won't do it

The latest version of Pages for MAC (5.0.1), can't export a simple text document to WORD format.
It takes forever and, at last, craches my Mac .

The custom style mapping option text still maintains the word formatting or it shows a style override in the InDesign style - how do I correct this?

When I tell the custom style mapping option to format a Word style (from an rtf document) with the InDesign style, the text still maintains the word formatting or it shows a style override in the InDesign style. I have a large document that needs to import the styles correctly and I've followed the tutorials exactly however the placed text is still hanging onto the word RTF styles. I want the rtf text to convert to my InDesign styles completely without overrides.

I actually need the cell styles. That's what sets my font, spacing, and GREP styles.
I did find the solution today. In the table style or table setup, I needed to set the "Stroke Drawing Order" to "Column Strokes in Front". Even though it was previously set to "Best Joins" and I had no strokes for rows or for the table borders, it just wasn't giving priority to my dotted columns.

Trouble shooting File to Idoc scenario: wrong Idoc structure in target

Hi All,
             I am working in an file to idoc scenario. Now the scenario is running but the idoc I am sending from SAP XI is not matching with one received in SAP R/3 system. This is not a new scenario. The scenario was already existing. I have done structural changes in Idoc structure and re-imported it in SAP XI. When the iodoc reaches SAP R/3 system I check its structure and data content. 4 of its fields are missing all 4 were newly added fields. Data from some fields are getting merged into one field within Idoc. data from one field is moving onto other fields in target. I have refreshed the metadata using IDX2 transcation within SAP XI but still getting same result.
