  • IDOC to XML file scenario with party

    Hi All,
I am developing a IDOC to XML file scenario with party in which I have extended the MATMAS idoc and configured the receiver FILE communication channel.
But its giving me the error *"No receiver could be determined"*  with party. If I run the same scenario without the sender party its working fine.
And sender is my R/3 system under party P_Party and receiver is my third party system under P_Party.
    Thanks in advance.
    Gaurang

U can give a try as follows.
In the Partner Profile of Sender R/3 system,
Give the Receiver Party P_Party in the PartnerNo. Give the 'Business Partner' as logical System type.
In XI, Party Definition of P_Party
    Give the following Alternative Identifier
Agency  -   Sender R/3  Business System
    Scheme -   ALE#GP
    Value    -    P_Party

  • JMS to File Scenario with no mapping

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is sending the flatfile data to target system. It is just pass through scenario.
Source adapter is JMS - >SAP PI ---> File to Target.Data at source side is  binary data and its nt XML.PI has to pass the csv data to target as a file without any modification.I am not sure of source structure here.Payment information are coming from source which is of TITO format.
    My Question is
1)Will sender JMS adapter accepts binary data ?
2)What configuration i need to make to achieve it?
3)Does any mapping required for this scenario?Since its just pass through scenario.
    Please provide your suggestion.
    Regards,
    Karthiga

    Hi Karthiga,
    Check the responses below.
    1. Will sender JMS adapter accepts binary data ?
Yes it should accept binary data.
    2. What configuration i need to make to achieve it?
There are many examples on SCN for passthrough scenarios.
    3. Does any mapping required for this scenario?Since its just pass through scenario.
No mapping or ESR objects are required for his scenario.

  • IDOC to FILE scenario With Screen shots

CAN YOU PLEASE SEND US THE DETAILS OF IDOC to FILE scenario With Screen shots  and do  the needful for me

    Hi Surya,
I thought i will just share a few basic thoughts that you need to take care while doing an IDOC to File Scenario. Just see if it helps you in anyways.
While doing an IDOC -> XI -> File scenario, The Points to noted are:
    1. You don’t need a DT, MT or a message interface for the IDOC as it itself acts as the Message Interface.
    2. You import the IDOC and use the same in your mapping.
    3. In this configuration note that you don’t have a sender agreement as you don’t have a sender IDOC adapter.
If it is that you wanted to send an IDOC from XI (File to IDOC) , then in this case:
points 1 and 2 will remain, but the 3 will not. You will need a sender agreement for the file and a receiver agreement for the IDOC.
    IDOC -> File scenario ref:
    <a href="/people/prateek.shah/blog/2005/06/08/introduction-to-idoc-xi-file-scenario-and-complete-walk-through-for-starters scenario</a>
    File -> IDOC ref:
    <a href="/people/anish.abraham2/blog/2005/12/22/file-to-multiple-idocs-xslt-mapping to IDOC</a>
To be able to trigger your IDOC from the SAP ISU system, you will have to set the partner profile in we20. Select your Business System (mostly under Logical system) and then create Outbound entries for whichever IDOC you want to trigger.
You define your basic type also in your partner profile settings, Please go thru the following links to get a better idea about partner profile:

  • IDoc-to-File scenario with external Partner ... PCK necessary?

    Hi all,
I have a question concerning to a IDoc-to-File Scenario with an external Partner. Here is a short Description of the Scenario:
The SAP ERP System creates an IDoc which should be send to the SAP Integration Server. The Integration Server respectively the IDoc-Adapter transform the IDoc in IDoc-XML. The Integration Server executes a Mapping and so on. In the final step the Integration Server should send the XML-File to a FTP Server in New York (external Partner) with the File/FTP-Adapter.
Have I to install the Partner Connectivity Kit at a Server in New York or is it working without the PCK? Which are my possibilities?
    Thanks for your help
    with kind regards
    Christopher

    Hello,
If the FTP server has connectivity to XI and if the
port is open XI can directly do the FTP using File
    Adapter.
    Thanks,
    Himadri
    Hi,
    thanks for your quick answer.
What means "connectivity to XI"? Our SAP-Environment is in Germany and the FTP-Server is in New York. Is it enough to open the port in the firewall?
    Thanks for your answer

  • IDoc to Flat file scenario - abap mapping

    Hi All,
I have to do some IDOC to Flat file scenarios. In Order to generate the file in required format I will have to add all segments(Nodes) of Idoc in FCC receiver. We also have other option of doing it through ABAP Mapping which I found in one blog.
Now my question is : Is it better way of doing it through FCC or ABAP Mapping?
Ofcourse from development point of view ABAP Mapping looks easier as FCC is very time consuming task.
Is there and performance issues in either of the approach?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Atul

    Hi VJ and Harald,
    Thanks for your replies.
I am not having PI7.1 however the given blog was very informative.
I will try using file port approach as suggested.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • File to RFC - XSLT Mapping after RFC structure has changed

    Hi
I'm an XI beginner, and am looking at a File to RFC scenario which has been implemented in our 7.0 system.
We have a requirement to add a new field to the RFC (which has already been done by the ABAPer) and I need to make the necessary changes in XI. So I have re-imported the RFC and added a field in Data Type (we had file content conversion and we have manually defined the Data Types).
For mapping - is there a way to utilise the existing XSLT mapping without having to re-do the entire mapping in Stylus Studio? Is there an easy way to just add one additional field in Stylus Studio? or do I have to edit the xsl manually?
    Thanks
    Manoj

    Manoj,
    Let me explain you....
1.Take the old XSL file into anote pad
2.now import your newly modified source and target XSD and import into SS
3.Perform the xslt mapping for the newly added source and target field
4.generate the XSL for this mapping
5.Now take the lines which mapped (Do not take all the lines in the generated XSL) and copy these few lines mapped
6.Now go to the old XSL in the notepad and add the lines copied from the new XSL
Now try to paste the entire XSL in SS then you would be able to see all the fields mapped in SS IF yes then you are done with XSLT mapping.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Doubts in SAP(Idoc)-XI-Flat file scenario

    Dear All,
I am sending Delivery Idoc from R/3 and I am able to view the Idoc in XI in transaction IDX5. Also i m able to see the XML structure with the data of the idoc in SXMB_MONI.
Now as per my scenario I have to download this to a flat file from XI.
My question is, should I have to do the creation of Data types, message types, mapping interface & interface mapping in IR or should I directly do the designing in the ID.
    waiting for your reply.
    Warm regards,
    N.Jain

    Hi,
DT, MT, MI  : you will create these things for receiver flat file only.
    First create
    In Integration Repository :
    1.     Import structure of IDOC in your scenario, In imported objects &#61664; IDOCs
                  a.     In Interface Objects
    1.     Create Data type for your flat file
    2.     Create Message Type
    3.     Create Message Interface (inbound Asy.)
                  b.     In Mapping Objects
    1.     Message Mapping :  IDOC  to  Message Type of Flat File.
    2.     Create Interface Mapping  : IDOC to Flat file by using Message Mapping which you have created.
    Make activate all these things.
    In Integration Directory :
    1.     Create Communication channel for File Receiver.
    2.     Sender Communication channel is not required.
    3.     Create Receiver Agreement.
    4.     Sender Agreement is not required.
    5.     Interface Determination
    6.     Receiver Determination
At sender side you will take your IDoc and at receiver side you will take your flat file.
    It can help you,
    Regards,
    Sandeep Kaushik

  • Regarding receiver determination problem in IDOC-XI-XML file scenario

    Dear All ,
In IDOC-XI-xml file scenario , I have configured SLD , IR . But in ID , after file adapter , reciever agreement configuration when I am doing receiver determination configuration I am not able to insert mapping program in configuration overview of receiver determination as I am not getting "New Specific" option in mapping .
Can anybody suggest what could be the reason behind this .
    Thanks in Advance
    Prabhat

    Hi PRabhat,
In RCVR determination, you need to select the party & service (as appropriate) save the obeject
then refresh the configuration overview of recr det.
then you can see the partner/service
then you can open it & add the necessary objects.
    Regards

  • File-Soap-File scenario with asynch - synch bridge

    Hi,
I am new to PI and I'm trying to develop a FIle-SOAP-File scenario with asynch-synch bridge. These are the components in my integration builder:
Business Component to act as both the sender and receiver
1 outbound communication channel to pick up the file from ftp server
    1 SOAP communication channel
1 inbound communication channel to write file to the ftp server
    receiver determination
    interface determination
    sender agreement
    receiver agreement
In my outbound channel, I am using:
    Processing sequence:
    1     AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean                Local Enterprise Bean     1
2     CallSapAdapter                                                         Local Enterprise Bean     2
    3     AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean                Local Enterprise Bean     3
    Module configuration:

3     receiverChannel                        inbound communication channel to write file to the ftp server
3     receiverService                         Business component where the channel above is found.
When I run the scenario, I am able to get the file from ftp server, map it to SOAP format according to the wsdl, forward the message to SOAP adapter, send it to web service, get the response back from web service, map the data to a regular file format. However, it fails to write back to the ftp server.  I am getting Java null pointer error at AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean.

  • R/3 46C(IDOC) -- XI -- Flat file scenario

    Hi
Is there anyone who could give me information on a R/3 46C(IDOC) --> XI --> Flat file scenario?
    Many thanks!
    br
    Göran

    Hi Manish
We are using a standard IDOC called PROACT.PROACT01
(We are using transaction sa38(Report RSMIPROACT) in R/3 to send our IDOC.)
First we create the technical and business systems in SLD
Second we transfer these to the repository.(I think the only thing you need to do is to update the SLD cache to get them there - Design : Integration builder --> Environment --> clear SLD cache)
Then we just use the configuration wizard(Configuration : Integration builder --> Tools --> configuration wizard) to map everything together - defining sender and receiver etc(You get the configuration wizard tool by patching XI to patch level 4 or 5).
I assume that you have made all the configurations accordingly to the XI configuration guide which you can download from the service marketplace.
This is just a hint but maybe it can give you a start.

  • Possible with XSLT mapping?

    Hi,
I have source xml structure of format
    <Header fld1 fld2 fld3
    fld4 fld5 fld6  ><line   fld7 fld8 fld9 </line></header>
    Header occurence is 1---unbounded
    and line occurence is 0---unbounded
and line items can exist or not for some header items.for some headers items can be single or multiple.
I get xml files on sender side and need to convert to flat files ,so I am using sender file CC on sender and receiver file CC with FCC on the receiver side.
I am able to get with receiver file FCC ,I know FCC can support two level heirarchies only.
    header1
    header2
    header3
    header n
    line x
    line y
    line z
    line n
so i dont know to which header values the item values belong to.I need to get
    this structure
    header1....(if no items)
    header2....(let say 2 items)
    linex
    liney
    header3...(no items)
    header4....(one item)
    linez
    header n.....(again no items)
so I have another Xi guy,he told me that we can achieve this by using a XSLT mapping rather than gaphical mapping which I am using now.
so can we get the structure what I wanted with XSLT mapping or is it nothing with mapping and it is with adapter?(I think its nothing with mapping)
I know we may get the required output structure by writing a module program and call that in the receiver file adapter.
    suggestions please.
    thank you,
    regards,
    Babu

    udo,
sorry if I put in confusion with my structures of both source and target.I am trying to give little eloberate
I have source  xml data like this.
    <Header1 fld1=1234 fld2="name1" fld3='SAP1"
    fld4='000" fld5=0 fld6="sdn1"</header>...............no line items here
    <Header2 fld1=123 fld2="name" fld3='SAP"
    fld4='00" fld5=0 fld6="sdn" ><line fld7=value1 fld8=value2 fld9=value3 /line><line fld7=value4 fld8=value5 fld9=value6 /line></header>.....two line items here
    <Header3 fld1=123 fld2="name" fld3='SAP"
    fld4='00" fld5=0 fld6="sdn" ><line fld7=value7 fld8=value8 fld9=value9 /line></header>......one line item here
    Header4 fld1=12345 fld2="name2" fld3='SAP2"
    fld4='0006" fld5=01 fld6="sdn2"</header>.......no line items here
I want target flat file structure like this considering "~" (tild)as delimiter
1234name1SAP100000~sdn1 ...................> flatfile values for header1(no item values for this header1)
123nameSAP000~sdn..........................> flat file values for hader2
    value1value2value3...........................>line item values for header2
value4value5value6...........................>line item values for header2(two line item values for this header2)
    123nameSAP000~sdn..........................>values for hader3
value7value8value9...........................>line item values for header3(one item values for this header3)
12345name2SAP2000601~sdn2..................>values for header4(no item values for this header4)
................... like for n header values.
