Idoc type used for an output type

Hi experts,
How do I find the Idoc structure used by an output type.
When i look in nace it only shows the program name as RSNASTED and form routine as EDI_PROCESSING.

I guess i have to explain the whole problem.
We are trying to eliminate a couple of items from going down to 4 output types of which 3 of them are using EDI.
So I think we should eliminate them from being populated in the line items of each IDOC.
i.e) each basic type/ extension whichever it uses.
Does it make sense?
if not please advice, I am new to EDI.

Hi All,
First, can a IDOC be used for data exchange from R/3 to CRM
I need to update few fields of SAP CRM Sales order with fields from SAP R/3 Work Order.
To achive this can I use IDOC?
Or do I update the R/3 sales order from R/3 Work order(using some interface or workflow), so that the sales order data flows from R/3 SO to CRM SO.

IDocs can be processed by the CRM system via XML/XIF adaptor. As this will be most probably a new interface that is not yet set up, it would be easier to change the orders in R/3 via an appropiate FM which should automatically generate a delta download BDoc.
Even if they are not downloaded automatically a request download (defined via R3AR2 / 3 / 4) should take care of this.

Two idocs are created for one output message type

hi all,
we are communicating our sap idocs to external system using ALE.It is working smoothly.
Our problem raises here,
.idocs are creating at the time of output type attachment for purchase orders.But rarely,two idocs are creating for one message type.It means two idocs are created for same Purchase order.It makes complications for the external system.
anyone can help me pls?

jurgen, the second idoc is not an "ORDCHG",It is the replica of first idoc.This one has also "ORDERS" message type.The only difference between these idocs are the time.It means the difference between the time field segments of these idocs have only three(3)seconds difference.We think that its from the system error.If it is not from the system error pls give me the explanation.

Comments and Moderators settings in RoboHelp Server is for AIR files? Or can it used for Pro outputs as well?

Please explain how comments are enabled for Pro outputs in RH server. Is it only for AIR file, but i understand AIR output is not supported. Then how Moderators setting work for PRo outputs?

If I can amplify what Peter has mentioned above. Actually it is just a wordy way of saying what Peter posted in one sentence! Hopefully it will help a bit.
The relationship of AIR output and how it relates to Rh Server is admittedly confusing. In fact both are mutually exclusive.
The AIR Help output does indeed support commenting as well as the moderation of those comments by designated people.
However RoboHelp Server *does not* support commenting at this time. This feature has been requested and perhaps we will see it in a future release.
Unlike a help system delivered by HTTP from a web server (like RoboHelp Server's WebHelp Pro), the AIR Help output (.air file) is an application which is installed on the end-user's local computer. For security reasons this works well for distributing and updating a help system. Optionally, it also supports commenting but because the comments must be "stored" somewhere outside the local computer, there are serveral options. One is to store them on an internal server (such as a network drive behind a firewall).
So where might RoboHelp Server come into the picture at all? Here's the answer. Some organizations deploy both output flavors (AIR and RoboHelp Server) for different systems and different audiences. IF the RoboHelp authors *coincidentally* happen to have RoboHelp Server in their organization, then this server can be used to authenticate (usernames/passwords) for the moderation and storage of comments that AIR Help requires.
The bottom line is that presently RoboHelp Server does not support commenting for its own output, though it can as a convenient "host" for the comments and moderation of a separate AIR Help system.

User exit to change vendor e-mail address used for PO output via e-mail...

We have two vendor e-mail addresses for a particular vendor. Ignoring output determination, it looks like I will need to control which of the two e-mail vendor addresses is used when the PO is output via e-mail.
The default is the first one e-mail address, but for PO's I would like to force the second vendor e-mail address.
There are tonnes of exits available for PO output by the looks of it so I am trying to discover which is relevant for what I am trying to achieve.

I guess that's the same path that I took earlier when using SPRO and looking at the Purchasing->Messages. In my case it's ZMEDRUCK, but that does not help me in regards to controlling the vendors e-mail address being used. When sending the PO as an e-mail it uses (by default) the first e-mail address of the Vendor, whereas the vendor could have multiple ones. In my test case my vendor has two addresses but it always defaults to using the first. I know that I need to modify this behaviour somehow, but how I have no idea as I can find no Exit routine.

Which pins do I use for 5V output of a CB 50-LP connector block ?

I have the PCI-6025E and the CB-50 LP. I am trying to determine which pins are used to get a 5V output to connect my load cell to. As I understand, there are a set of pins for 5V and a set of pins for 10V. Also is this a continuous output or do I have to be running LabView?

Sine.vi clicking when used for realtime output with DAQ Assisstant.

What I'm Trying to Do: Stepped sine analysis. The program outputs from the DAQ device each of the frequencies entered into the array constant on the left (see VI) in order, taking a measurement of the magnitude of the signal input to the DAQ device for each frequency. The program only takes a measurment and moves onto the next frequency once it has decided that the magnitude of the input signal is stable. Stability is defined by the stablility upper and lower limits labelled in the lower double nested loop (see VI). The program measures the inputs magnitude 10 times as second, and calculates the difference between the current magnitude and the last magnitude each time. The difference must be within the stability limits 20 times in a row for a measurement to be saved and the frequency changed.
The Problem: phase of sine.vi is resetting each time round the loop for some (not all) frequencies, even though it's set not to, causing clicks (number of clicks per seconds depends on block size). This doesn't happen if the lower nested for loop (the one that checks for stabliity, labelled on the attached VI) is removed. I thought that maybe the two DAQ Assistants (one for output and one for input) were interfering with eachother, but the problem occurs even when the DAQ Assistant Input is changed to a signal generator.

Hi Christian,
I have been looking into this problem though I must warn you that since I don't not have your exact hardware configuration I can not exactly recreate your problem. I have also carried out some research to determine whether there are any known instances of this problem, and unfortunately there are not.
The fact that the VI runs OK when the lower loop is deleted suggests to me a problem in this lower loop. Have you tried initialising the shift register. An uninitialised shift register could explain such inconsistent behavior. Symptomatic of this kind of problem would be the VI running correctly the first time you run it and then producing unexpected behavior subsequently.

IPTC tag names used for text output in BorderFX export

Does anyone have a reference list? Nothing is documented or forthcoming on the BorderFX site. For example, I have a photo with IPTC entries on the Aperture metadata/aka info tab under the Image section for both City and Location. BorderFX has a built-in tag for "City" and that works fine. There is an implied capability to add fields to the list, but there I am stymied. There is no existing entry for Location. I tried "Location", "Image location", ImageLocation", "Sub Location", Sub-location", etc. without success. I tried using the names from the IPTC document referenced in earlier questions. I delved into the tags used by AppleScript to no avail. I might have to delve into the Aperture SDK, but I have not yet done much with XCode. Or, perhaps simply there is no capability to use additional tags despite the appearances in the plug-in.

Which iDOC Type for Credit/Debit notes generated from SD Module ?

Hi,
We are implementing an EDI Solution for SD Invoices which would involve sending EDIFACT Messages generated out of mapping the SAP iDOC TYPE INVOIC02 to the EDIFACT fields.
We also have to send Credit and Debit Notes generated from SAP in the SD Module in the same path. We are currently planning on using INVOIC02 for doing this.
My Question: Is this the proper approach ? We don't want to use the Credit / Debit advises in FI-GL to post to Credits to Customer Account.
Is there any other iDOC Type or message type that we should be using for SD Credit/Debit Notes ?

Process code used for DELFOR inbound idoc

I have to create one interface in that i have to capture the transfer orders from that i have create the DELFOR idoc which used for posting the scheduling agreements.
These agreements will pos teh requirement to the forecast tab.
Please let me know the process code used for this inbound DELFOR idoc.

Firstly: Yes. Delins function module can be used for Delfor. Either case you will make the sytem update the forecast tab of scheduling agreement.
Secondly: Make sure you have one valid sales scheduling agreement maintained for that sold to, customer-material, ship to partner description.

Define Actions for Document Output - Activate / link std. Interactive Forms

Hello,
The transactions 'Actions for Document Output' help tells me the following:
If the processing type External Communication is used for document output using SAP Interactive Forms, the following configuration needs to be done:
SRM Document (Action Profile) Form Name Format
Purchase Order (BBP_PD_PO) BBP_PO_ADB BBP_PO_ADB_PRN
The interactive forms are available in our SRM system. Still up on searching the forms for f.e. the Purchase Order definition it can not be found. Only smartforms are listed. How come?
Has the setting in transaction 'PDF-based Forms for SAP ERP' -> 'Activate PDF-Based Forms' got anything to do with this?

I tried searching for it where you should link the form with the BUS object.
Following path (PO): Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Set Output Actions and Output Format -> Define Actions for Document Output -> Action Profile: BBP_PD_PO -> Tab: Processing Types -> Smart Forms Print -> Search for Form doesn't include the Interactive forms.
I just realised: I need to add a new entry 'External Communication', would this entry be applicable for all communication methods? Thus fax + print + e-mail? And how did you go about setting it up, i suppose adding an 'external communication' entry next to the smartform entries in the std. SAP BBP_PO would be double (system wouldn't know which 1 to choose).

Output type not created for outbound delivery while using SHMNT05 idoc type

Hi Experts,
Please help me to solve the below issue.
Problem:- I want to to generate an IDOC(using type SHPMNT06) once the PGI is done for an outbound delivery.
Already it is working fine when used DESADV.DESADV01 or DESADV.DELVRY07. But now the output type is not getting created when used SHMNT.SHPMNT06. I have created a separate output type ZPJ7 just as a mirror copy of the earlier output type(ZPJ6) used for DESADV.DELVRY07.
Question:- Is it possible to use idoc SHPMNT06 instead for DESADV01 or DELVRY07? If yes then what are steps to be followed?
The reason why SHPMNT06 idoc is planned:- We have a scenario to send outbound delivery to 3rd party system via XI. If the outbound delivery is for National(Not for Export) and PGI is completed then send the idoc straight forward to XI otherwise DO NOT generate the idoc, but just create the delivery. Collect all the deliveries in a transport and send it in a shipment. The shipment details can be sent using SHPMNT idoc. Now from XI perspective, if we can utlitze the same SHPMNT idoc for the National delivery(1st case) then perhaps this will require less effort. Hence shipment idoc is required to be generated when the delivery is created and PGI is done.
Also it would be great if you can advice some better way to solve above mentioned scenario.

There could be several reasons. Go to the document and in the extras-output check output determination analysis in the processing log.
If the output has been created successfully then you need to see your printer determination. Ask basis to check it up. If the problem is that even the print preview is not coming. Check your communication in the output analysis and ensure LOCL is selected. Any other printer will need to be configured.
If thats done already then check whether you have maintianed the condition record.
If that too is done then check whether your output type has been assigned to the output procedure and that the output type is listed in the procedure.

Outbound output type & Idoc type for MIRO (Invoice Posting)

Hi Gurus,
I have requirement like , I want to send the outbound IDoc to a external system containg the invoice detials after Saving in MIRO.
I am not able to find any output type & Idoc type for the same.
By going through varios threads , I found that there tell there is no Idoc type & output type for sending Idocs after MIRO.
Kindlt let me know, if it so, or how this req can be fullfiled by other ways.

Create Custom Idoc type with required fields,custom output type and assign it to partner profiles.(If there is no std idoc type or output type)
Use Funtion module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE to generate Idocs while saving MIRO, for this you need to find exit or implement implicit enhancement while saving MIRO.

About using FIDCCP02 IDoc type for FB50

Hi Friends,
I'm trying to design an Inbound interface using Idoc type FIDCCP02 with MSG type FIDCC1. During testing this IDoc with Tcode WE19 it got processed very well but in tcode WE05 it is showing status as 51 i.e. Accounting transaction not permitted for posting in FI/CO.

There are two things that needs to be done to achive this
1. Maintain Cross Company code information through transaction 'SALE'>>Modelling and Implementation Business Process>>Cross Application settings >> Global Organizational Units >>Cross-System Company Codes
2. Maintain suitable value for GLVOR in segment E1FIKPF. For eg: RFBU. You can take FI functional consultant help.
This problem gets resolved. Though I am giving you this reply late and I know that I may not get points but whenever anybody searches for this thread they get the answer.
