Idoc unable to hit XI

Hi All,
Im actually executing the MM-SUS pre-shipped SAP scenario in XI.
I have triggered the purchase order in the form of Idoc (orders.orders02) to XI (trans: me22n)
It shows the status 03 in we02.
but the idoc is not hitting xi and i dont see any entry in sxmb_moni
Plz help....

Hi M,
You can't download or install BL locally because all of the code we have in regards to taking screenshots resides on our servers "in the cloud". And trust me, you don't want to have to deal with all that server configuration and maintenance
There are, however, a few other ways you can use BrowserLab to test sites that are behind a firewall. Your options are:
Get your company IT to whitelist our egress IP addresses (216.104.220.193 & 192.150.3.7) so that our servers can reach into your network and see the pages.
Use our Dreamweaver integration extension in CS5 to test local content. Install DW, set up your site, open up the BL extension, choose Preview Local Content and we'll upload the pages and assets to our servers so we can take screenshots there. Your assets will not be accessible to anyone but you and will be deleted within 5 minutes.
Use Firefox, Firebug, and our BrowserLab for Firebug add-on to test local content in a similar way to what you can do with Dreamweaver in #2. You can find instructions and download links here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/786305?tstart=0

iam working on file-idoc scenario ,iam getting the below error in sxmb_moni and RWB
"Unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system"
i checked the partnetr profile, RFC(sm59) and IDX1 t codes.
the connection is ok. but still i could figureout the problem.
please suggest me

Hi,
Have u checked the logical system is added in the Sender Business service in the Integration Directory?
Open the Buiness Service/System --> EDIT-ADAPTER SPECIFIC IDENTIFIERS
then specify the logical system name.

Hi Seema,
I think you are using mi_Orders05_In_Asyn as the IDOC interface.
Use the imported idoc as the interface. i.e you dont need to create Inbound Message interface for IDOC. You can use the imported idoc structure as interface.

SOAP to IDOC: Unable to convert sender service BS to an ALE logical system

Hello everyone,
I have this scenario where i receive web services calls and have to integrate the received xml messages (idocs) into SAP R3 system.
I allready reveive the message in my XI engine, but i'm getting this error (being BS the name of my Business Service included in my external party):
"Unable to convert sender service BS to an ALE logical system"
I allready tried everything that is specified in this blog:
The specified item was not found.
Probably it doesn' fit my requirements. I'm not sure...
Can anyone help ?

- do u have the same logical name defined in the BS and in the Adapter specific attributes.
also check if u have defined the logical system (SALE ) with the same name.

Error importing Idoc - Unable to read segments

Hi experts,
I have some problems importing a custom built IDoc in IR.
The error I got was:
ZPATINFO_IDTY.ZPATINFO: Error
+Error: IDoc type ZPATINFO contains error (unable to read segments)
Import failed with 1 error.
I've tried to import standard IDocs and they were successful.
I tried to import the metadata in IDX2, and was successful. A popup saying "unable to read segment versions" but i could still see the structure in IDX2.
I've added roles to my user:
SAP_BC_MID_ALE_DEVELOPER
SAP_BC_MID_ALE_IDOC_ADMIN
SAP_BC_MID_ALE_IDOC_DEVELOPER

First of all check if you have the proper authorizations;

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

Third party application is unable to hit PeopleSoft server.

We are trying to publish a message to PeopleSoft from a 3rd party application. We have verified our WSDL and is showing the xml structure in IE.
Given below is the URL to which 3rd party app posting the request message.

This is working fine in our development/UAT instances where as in production we do not get any request messages in PeopleSoft server. We have checked in errorLog.HTML as well as msgLog.HTML. No entry found on that.
Our Production server has multiple app sever domains. It has load balancing mechanisms also. This is the only difference between DVL and Prod instances.
Could any one please help us on this?

Did you Provide the service in your Production environment and did you supply this WSDL to the 3rd party, because this will contain the endpoint to your Production environment Listening Connector.
Does the 3rd party receive any response?
Is this a sync or async service operation.
If async, PUB/SUB servers need to be defined on the appserver and the domain should be active.
Also check if queues are running that handle this service.
Have multiple appserver is not the issue, the appserver defined in the Gateway Configurtion will be the one that will handle the message.

Unable to hit 30Mbps with Lynksys BEFW11S4

Hello,
I just upgraded my connection from 15Mbps to 30Mbps. And I have the strange problem of not being able to go above 20Mbps. From what I understand a 10/100Mbps is technically able to do up to 100Mbps? (Ethernet connection, not wireless)
I just got off customer support and they said it's normal that it's capped at 20Mbps, the lady that was serving, albeit nice, didn't seem to understand what she was saying so I didn't try to push to get more info.
If anybody can enlighten me as to why the BEFW11S4 is capped at 20Mbps for my internet conneciton, I'd be extremely grateful!

There are no detailed specs on the actual throughput. It depends on a lot of factors and there is no real standard accepted by all manufactorers which is why they don't publish this data on consumer router.
Your BEF is simply too old. It's a 802.11b router probably ten years old. It is just too old and slow to handle that kind of speed.
The 10/100Mbit specification only tells which standard the ethernet port follows. They could wire "100BASE-TX" or mention some 802.3 standard instead. All it says which technology is used, wiring, pins, etc. It says that through a 100 Mbit/s link you are technically able to transfer data as fast as ~90 Mbit/s with ethernet.
It does not say how fast your device is or how fast it can read or write useful data.To route 100 Mbit/s instead of 10 Mbit/s packet streams means for the router to process 10 times as much at the same time. Of course, only because you use a 10/100 interface on a device doesn't mean it is capable of doing so.
Thus, generally, if a device has a 10/100 Mbit/s port you can expect performance higher than 10 Mbit/s because if it was even slower than that they would have built in a cheaper 10 Mbit/s port. But how fast it actually can do is limited by the CPU power etc of the router and not the interface.
Or: Only because you use a 3G digital phone today which may be able to transfer data up to 7.2 Mbit/s doesn't mean you are able to talk faster to fill a 7.2 Mbit/s channel with your talking... ;-)

But I think they don't have the BEFW11S4 on their tests anymore. But as you can see, performance of almost all routers is never close to the maximum speed of the interface. If that would be the case, most routers would be either ~90 Mbit/s or 900 Mbit/s in the list but not in between...

Debugging IDOCs

How do I debug an IDOC ? The transaction codes I know for processing IDOCs are:
WE02, BD87 and WE19
I am trying to debug an IDOC which is creating a credit memo request in VA01.

There is an easy way, go to WE19, put the Idoc number and hit F8 then choose for e.g inbound function module, set the function(you can find it at WE64), checked "CAll in debug mode" and if you want check foreground mode.

Idoc for customer payment advice

Hi all,
We receive Idoc for payment advice from customer. Can some body tell me how can I read this information to match the invoice.I mean how can I map Idoc field to SAP internal tables.
How do I know which Idoc field will hit which SAP table & which table.
So please guide me about Idoc mapping & finding appropriate field for inbound idocs.

Hello,
Customer of vendor payment advice is the advice informing the customer that the amount has been paid against which invoices.
You need to configure the payment advice in FBZP or give them as part of variant in F110.
When you run the automatic payment program, based on the FBZP settings, a payment advice gets triggered.
You are able to see your payment advice in SP02. To generate payment advice correctly, please make sure your settings in Variant (F110) are correct. Any invalid entries will result in NO generation of payment advice.

IDoc issue

Hi,
i'm trying to test a scenario from idoc to idoc.Partner profile is defined properly.
But when i post through runtime work bench i'm facing a issue.PFB error
error category - IDOC_ADAPTER
error id - ATTRIBUTE_IDOC_METADATA
When i try to load metadata(PI box) i'm unable to load the IDoc its showing as Segment versions could not be read.
Kinldy suggest on the same.

It seems some issues with the idoc itself. Check in SAP whether it is released properly and dont have any errors. You can also see some info on this error here:

Create two identical idocs from one input file with BPM

Hello all .
My issue is the following.
I have a scenario where an input file is mapped to an IDOC .
The problem is that i need to create a second - almost identical - mapping to the same IDOC type and when the input file is receive both of them should be sent .
I suppose that BPM is needed for this scenario, but are there any examples or tips i should follow?

I have started trying Rucinski's method, because I would better avoid redoing the mapping on the second IDOC (it is pretty hard and critical) . But I have a problem.
When i run the senario, the system replies (for the second IDOC)
"Unable to interpret IDoc interface NEW_IDOC_MI"
The reason for this is that in the Interface Determination i have two entries for the inbound interface,
Orders.orders05 and
NEW_IDOC_MI,
which is wrong. I should be using the original Orders.orders05. But this can't be done, because in tha case the Interface Determination, requests a Condition to be entered. Any suggestions on this ?
Sarvesh, is there any way to duplicate the IDOC, keeping the mapping that is allready done ?
