IDOC2FILE

Hi All,
Now i am working IDOC2FILE scenario. All design time & configuration time objects are created and activated successfully. And ALE settings also done in both R/3 side and XI side. Now i am trying to send the idoc in we19, but i got the error like
"IDoc 0000000000001010 was saved but cannot
should not be sent".
Please let me know the solution for this problem asap.

As per the message IDoc saved but can not be sent, could be due to below reasons.
1. Check the RFC destination created in R/3, which points to XI. Check if you are able to connect to XI from test connection.
2. In R/3, tocde WE21 Check the port which you have created to send the IDoc, contains the same RFC destination as in setp 1.
3. In R/3, tcode WE20 check the partner profile and then check under outbound IDoc that you have give the same port no as created in step 2.
4. In R/3, tcode WE19 check the control records (Sender & Receiver port, IDoc type etc..)

"IDoc: 0000000000005005 Status: Application document not posted" and
"Function module not allowed: APPL_IDOC_INPUTI".
All my design time and configuration time objects are done and activated.
Here i am using the business service for sender system. sender is R/3 system.
Anybody, came across this problem, could you please revert back to me with solution. I want step-by-step testing procedure.
Please getback to me with proper solution asap.

ALE configuration
Steps to do ALE Configuration with respect to IDOC:
Configuration in R/3:
1. Create a RFC destination using Transaction = SM59
2. Create the ports using we21 and refer the port to the created RFC dest in above Step.
3. Create a Logical System using Transaction BD54.
4. Create a partner profile using transaction WE20.
Also need to configure in XI:
1. Create a RFC destination using Transaction = SM59
2. Create the ports using Transaction IDX1 and refer the port to the created RFC dest in above Step.
3. The port has to be displayed in the IDX2 transaction and we should be able to view the idocs which we imported through integration repository otherwise we have to manually import the idocs from IDX2 using the port created above

Problem in TRFC queue (SM58) - IDOC2FILE scenario

Hi,
I am executing IDOC2file scenario. In the transaction we19, i have successfully posted the IDOC to external system (XI).
But the iDOC is still in TRFC queue. (SM58 or BD87).
Recipient details
Port : RFC in We21.
Partner No. : XI logical name.
Partner Type: Logical system.
Sender details
Port : SAPBIW
(This is the confusing part, I was told that first three letters should be SAP and next three should be SID of the SAP system).
Is this mandatory. But my TRFC (we21 in BW) didn't have any such port, so i created one.
Partner No. : BIW logical name.
Partner Type: Logical system.
I am getting this error in SM58
Transaction IDX1: Port SAPBIW, client 001, RFC dest contains error.
Now i want to know what is the problem because of which IDOC is not being to pushed to XI

go to sm58 and release or delete that queue, next time idoc will not stuck in the queue.

IDoc2File Error

I am testing my scenerio Idoc2File from R3 side using we19,Idoc is getting generated successfully and sent to XI but there I am finding error as below

First check ur Config with test tool

1. Check whether it has been configured correctly .
2. It has correct receiver agreement.
3. If its receiver determination includes the conditional receiver then make sure that it satisfies the condition.

Hi,
Once you configured the ALE settings, ask your functional people to generate the idoc. then goto we02 take the IDOC number fom there and paste it in WE19 ( IDOC Test Tool)
And then u can send the IDOC from R/3 to XI in this way

Idoc2File : Mapping concept

Hi Experts,
In Idoc2File scenario, I have mapped field IDTNR from segment E1EDP19 with Material Code as below hierarchy .
E1EDP01
 E1EDP19
 IDTNR MAPPING Material Code
But during functional execution , this segment [E1EDP19] is appearing 2 times and I want to escape first segment E1EDP19- IDTNR value and want to use 2nd same segment u2013 IDTNR field value as per my mapping.
Note:- I have mapped (Sender) E1EDP01 to target node as per requirement.

Can i use technical system type 'third party' for r3 system in idoc2file sc

Hi,
i am doing a sample out bound scenario (idoc 2 file), distributing idoc from sap system to csv file (in same network). in this can i use thchnical system type 'third party' for R3 system. will the scenario work properly or not.
And some times some of the business systems in SLD are not visible in ID, when assigning business system in ID.can any one tell reason for this.
can any one suggest me,........ Thanks in advance & would be appreciated.

--- No u can't use this...Ur technical system must be "WebAS ABAP" only. For file system you use 3rd party system. means ur technical system like follows.
sender
R/3 -- WebAs ABAP
Receiver
File - 3 rd pary system
And some times some of the business systems in SLD are not visible in ID, when assigning business system in ID.can any one tell reason for this.
Click "Clear SLD cache" repeatly for some time in ID, it will come.

Error in IDOC2File scenario(While Importing IDOC to XI)

Hi everyone,
When i am importing the any IDOC in the Integration directory, i am getting the following error.
+ com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: The function module "DD_DOMA_GET" not released for 'remote' calls.
Import failed with 1 error

For this i have activated the DD_DOMA_GET module in SE37 (in my R/3 system).
But still i am getting the same error.
Can anyone provide a solution for this?

ERROR IDoc2File "Cannot produce target element"

Hi,
well i am sending an IDoc as i did some times before via XI to the client.
Funny thing is that now it's the first time the MM is not able to handle empty fields from sender.
I configured the target DT and the field 'co' from IDoc for occurrence with 0..1 but when i test the MM with the given XML-Structure from SXMB_MONI i am getting following ERROR:
Cannot produce target element /ns0:MT_Certificate/recordType2A/co. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
This field is the first one which is empty in the sent IDoc - but i have no clue why the is a problem because i did this some times before and it all works and i havn't done anything wrong - i hope.
So do u have an idea?!

I explained it above, but let me try to put it better.
MAPWITHDEFAULT is used to check if a the source field exists. if it exists then it maps the source with the field else it maps the default value to the target field.
When a field is not populated by an idoc, the field is not a part of your XML strucuture itself. In your mapping, the field for which you have used MAPWITHDEFAULT I guess has a occurence of 1..1 and so, as the source field does not come in the Idoc, the mapping fails and this is now handled with mapwithdefault.

Testing of IDOC2FILE scenario of XI

Hi All,
I have been with the scenario, FILE2IDOC. I triggered the IDOC from R/3 system by using WE19. Here IDOC is successfully sent and i am sure that there is no stuck in SM58 also. Then i am trying to see the Message in SXMB_MONI, there is no message. In SXMB_MONI, i got the message: "No messages is available for selection".
In XI side, i gone throught the tcode WE05, here i got the message: I
"Doc: 0000000000005007 Status: Application document not posted &
Function module not allowed: APPL_IDOC_INPUTI".
Please try to understand my problem, and give me the solution for this issue.

Hi.
What is your scenario ? Is it IDOC To File or File To IDOC ?
As per the subject it is IDOC To file..if so in WE05/WE02 status of IDOC should show green in R3. and then you can check the status in SM58 so that you can ensure that IDOC is sent from R/3 to XI.
If so you should see the Message in SXMB_MONI.. Check the Start Timings [ Give 5 hours etc back]in the SXMB_MONI Screen..
As per the content of your post, File to IDOC scenario, if so you need to send the file and then need to see the processing steps for the same... check out the sender file channel is working fine..

Hi All,
I have Idoc to File Scenario - Sender R/3 KU (Customer) and Recevier is LS
For Customer (KU) - what extra configuration we need to do compare to LS.
For Example:-
In Business System -->Adapter specific Identifiers ---> Logical System (what option to select) ?
We 21 (Port) - What is option for KU ?
I have already maintained parter profile for R/3 in we20. And For Sender R/3 KU an entry for outbound message type

This is a bit missunderstoodable. If you send an IDoc and store it at file you would rather create a third party system as receiver. In that case you would not need to setup parties. Just give the receiver Business System any logical name: Either in the SLD or in IB Directory (Adapter Specific Identifiers).
Setup a parties and map them would be required if the receiver system is a SAP system receiving real IDocs.

IDoc2File - Testing Problem

Hi.
I know there are several Tutorials concerning IDoc-Scenarios but i have a simple probelm in testing an empty IDoc.
I use an empty DELVRY03 and enter the configured Receiver and Sender for editing the control record fields, try to use the standard outbound processing and i get a message like:
the IDoc is saved but can't or should not be send.
No Idea what the problem might be! I really read every Blog/Tutorial to this and configured it all well - or is it not possible to test it with an empty IDoc?!

well SM58 says nothing and i guess it even should say nothing when the IDoc is succesfully sent.
Please correct me in the following things if needed:
for the control data
1. recepient:
a. Port: should be the one i created in the sender-System, Tx WE21
b. RFC Dest: seems to work fine
c. partnerNo: should be the one i configured in BD54
2. sender:
a. Port: where do i get it from (System/Status?) - it should be the logicalSystemName from the Sender?!
b. partner No.: where do i get it?
