IDOCHRMD - Task TS00408178 not triggered

Hi,
We are in a scenario where the HR hierarchy is synchronised with SRM.
The IDOCS type are HRMD_ABA,and I wanted to set up a task to monitor them, I have found the TS00408178 HRMD_Error.
It seems to be the appropriate one.
I have activated the object type IDOCHRMD event INPUTERROROCCURRED on the task
I have maintained the possible agent, set up the same agents (Organisation) on the IDOC in WE20.
However when the IDOCS are in status 51(error in the application) the worklfow is not triggered
When I set up the trace on the event nothing is recorded
Do you have any thought on this ?

In transaction BD87 if I select the IDOC and press the Object Key button (MAJ +F9) in the type of Object and object key field nothing appears ..

Dependent process task is not triggering - OIM 11.1.2

Hi All,
In 'AD User' process definition, I have added a process task 'send email' which will send a e-mail notification on User profile location change.
I made it a dependent task of 'Change AD OU' (process defined by me, triggers when user profile location is changed).
Test performed
1) changed User profile location attribute from identity self service.
Test Result
1) User profile Location is updated.
2) 'Change AD OU' process task is triggered and executed successfully. And process task returned success and the status value is 'C'
3) Dependent task 'send email' is not triggered.
Verified following
1) both process task are made unconditional.
Please help me in knowing, why the dependent task is not being triggered.

I configured it according the link provided.
Now facing below issue.
When I changed first name of a user from identity console, 'Change First Name' process task is triggered and is assigned to XELSYSADM (coz, in the assignment tab I added only XELSYSAD). But the status of the process task is Rejected. Also, the changed 'First Name' value is not updated in the process form of the user. Hence the change is not reflected into AD.
Please tell me why the status is Rejected and changes are not reflecting.
Also, Please provide the solution to auto provision the modifications into AD.

Task Does not get triggered when User is created through API

Hi,
Each new user in our OIM environment is supposed to have a iPlanet account. I have configured the access policy for the same and it works.There is also a process task which needs to be triggered once the user is successfully created in the DS. Following is my issue:
1.When the new user is created through the admin console, the user is provisioned successfully to DS as well because of the access policy and the task also gets triggered successfully.
2. There is an approval workflow for another resource, at the end of which a user needs to be created through APIs in OIM. The user gets created successfully in OIM and also get provisionined to DS just like in the above use case. However, the task fails in this case. I see that the task is being triggered from the user's resource profile, but the status is rejected.
Can someone please tell me why is this happening. I initially though there was some issue with my adapter for the task, but in case 1 it works just fine.
Following is the exception I get as soon as the iPlanet connector finishes creating the user in DS:
java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String

Hi,
Have you checked the process data that you are passing to this adapter and check the mapping of process data to the adapter variable. Try to log the value which you get from process data. I got this error when I was trying to use the literal value from process data as "true" for a boolean value. This is a bug. This value is not actually a boolean value. It threw me error too sometimes back. Either you pass the boolean value from adaptor factory as a literal value or change the type boolean both in your code and the adapter.

I am using sharepoint designer workflow for document approval and the tasks are assigned in serial.. but the when a task expires event is not triggered.. I have set due date for the task process but still it is not triggered.. Can anyone tell me how

I am using this option to escalate the task to the next approver if it is not completed within the specific duration.. Can anyone tell me if there is any alternative way to do this..

I understand that when a task expires ,the workflow doesn’t create the tasks for next approval .This is how serial tasks works .You
need to complete the first task first before the next task is generated .So you can add actions by change the behavior of a single task .
Open the workflow in SharePoint Designer .Click Approval(1) to modify the approval process .
Choose ‘Change the behavior of a single task ’ on next page .Find the ‘When a task expires ’ section .
Add actions like ‘Rescind task’ (this action completes the task without an outcome) ,’Reassign Task’(reassign current task to another people ), ‘escalate task ’(escalate current task to manager) .
In this way ,the current task is whether completed or reassigned for completion ,then the next task will be created after current task is completed .

Enable User task is not getting triggered

Hi All
We have a provisioning workflow configured. "Enable User" task is not getting triggered while the user is enabled in OIM. Can anyone give a clue as to how to get it triggerd? Rest all the tasks are fine (Create, Disable, Delete, and other custom tasks)

There is a OOTB scheduled Task "Enable After Start Date". once the user get enabled in OIM user profile. You have to run this task manually to have effect on corresponding RO for enablement. Else it will execute automatically as per scheduled time.

Terminating Event Not Triggering

HI Guys,
I have added a custom task to call MRBR screen and set a Terminating Event for this task. It is a Asynch Method.
Through SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT i am calling the terminating event but my task is not getting terminated.
I checked in SWEL i could see evnt log for my terminating event without Receiver type.
Kindly help me to sort out this issue.

Where have you written the code for triggering the termination event?
Also in your task have you created an entry:
WIOBJECT_ID FIPP TerminatingEvent Name.
When everything is done properly in SWEL you would see the receiver as workitem.

WF not triggering in Quality System

Hi,
We moved the Workflow to Quality System, but the event is not triggering.The event linkage is active and workflow customizing has been done.The WF-Batch user is having SUPER user group.Kindly help on this issue.

One reason were workflow is not triggered, WF and Event link not enabled.
Hope you are using BOR QMSM and triggering task for notification created in QM02,
1)     try to simulate with SWUE and check whether WF is triggered or not for a dummy task created in QMSM
2)     Check did you made WF Generic otherwise it will not trigger the WF
If you designate your workflow task as a "general task", this means that all users are authorized to start this task.
To restrict the number of authorized persons, you can assign the task to an object from the organizational plan (organizational unit, job, user,...). This is a general procedure and can be used with all types of tasks. If you assign the task directly to a user, only this person is authorized to start the task.
3)     check for user authorization
4)     Check for WF consistence swu5/swu4

Web Service is not triggered

Hi,
I have a web service in my BPM. This web service is an automated activity to send an e-mail based on user's decision. Everything works fine, except the e-mail is not triggered.
I configured this e-mail using Logical Destination and when I tested in the WSNavigator, it sent an e-mail.
So, my question here is, how to make sure this web service is getting called and how to trouble shoot this.
1. I checked in NWA, there is nothing related to this e-mail Web Service.
2. Checked in Process Composer: Manage Tasks, I cant see anything here.
3. Web Service is working fine with both Logical Destination and without.

Hi Sunita,
You didn't say whether you configured the application communication via NWA->SOA Management->Application and Scenario Configuration->Application Communication' (CE 7.2). Since your BPM process is calling a web service you have to assign a profile to it. BDOCs not triggering on changin Contract Account thrU FM FKK_ACCOUNT_UPDATE

Hi,
We have integrate SAP ISU and CRM system. My scenario is, on Dunning til a specific level, customer is removed from Direct Debit if he's on an active Incoming Payment Method in a dunning activity.
In my scenario, I'm reading Contract Account Details using FKK_ACCOUNT_READ, deleting incoming payment locks if any, clearing three fields of Incoming Payment Method Id, Bank ID and Credit Card ID (EZAWE, EBVTY, CCARD_ID) and then passing the new structure in FM FKK_ACCOUNT_UPDATE in below format:

I checked the standard process (CAA2), also uses the same FM in same format but it triggers BDOCs. I believe after this FM is called, some other FMs are being called to trigger BDOCs.
Can someone help me in finding out, where am I going wrong. Thanks.

Running Function Module in Background with Update Task is not working

Hello Friends,
I have a "Z" Report Program where I am running this Report in Background using JOB_OPEN, JOB_SUBMIT, JOB_CLOSE. I am calling this in BADI.
In this Report I am calling another Function Module PRICES_POST which is a standard Function Module and in this FM there is another FM 'CKML_UPDATE_MATERIAL_PRICE IN UPDATE TASK'. Now when I am running the BADI these values are not being updated.
Friends I would like to know whether can we run Function Modules which are included with UPDATE TASK as Background Job program?
Kindly help me in providing your valuable suggestions in proceeding further.

If you forget the COMMIT-WORK each and every FM called in UPDATE TASK will not be triggered.

Office 2013 C2R Update Scheduled Task does not work

Hi all.
I am having difficulty getting network deployed updates to work correctly. I installed and older version of Office 2013 with the ODT from a network share and set the update path. I then downloaded an update via ODT.
The issue is the scheduled task does not update office. If I trigger or manually run from a command prompt "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64\integratedoffice.exe RUNMODE RERUNMODE modetorun updatedetection modeargs reschedulemode tasktrigger
scheduledtask updateuitype background” from Task Scheduler nothing seems to happen. Monitoring Task Manager it looks like integratedoffice is called albeit very briefly.
But, if I run "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\ClientX64\integratedoffice.exe RUNMODE RERUNMODE modetorun updatedetection background” from a command prompt Office updates, but if I edit the Scheduled Task to above Office does not update if the
task is triggered.
As Office can update if the right command is given it would appear that my config.xml etc is correct. Any ideas on why the Scheduled Task does not work?

What permissions are set on the location of the updates ? C2R currently needs permissions granted for machine accounts as it runs under that context. This will change at some point that C2R gets updated.

Provisioning in OIM Not Triggering

I have an OIM/ORM install up and running with a custom role request module installed. I am able to run the role request and put people into groups as it should, but when people are put into the groups, provisioning is not triggered as it should and the group membership is just changed. i am running the 'Evaluate User Policies' scheduled task but it never completes. if I go to the user and edit the account then save it, all the triggering is happening as normal. I am not getting any errors in the log but I am wondering what could be causing this. Has anyone had this issue or know of a way to resolve this? I am running 9.1.0.2 of OIM. Any help you can give would be appreciated.

Just raise an SR with Oracle because I faced this issue long back and this feature was not supported with ORM 10.1.4.2.
It works with ORM 10.1.4.1

BPM TASK IS not visible in UWL Inbox

I am facing the big issues in BPM process Triggered problem. earlier i used to BPM start using Web service with Two entity as ID and Username but its was working fine .but i have some requirement to adding one element in Existing WSDL entity as casename , i have added that element and execute the web service using WEBDYNPRO application ,but Task is not visible in UWL inbox but earlier it was working perfectly, after adding that field ,BPm tax is not visible UWL inbox ..
Please guide me ,Its urgent...Plz plz..

MWMTO002 Not Triggering

Dear All,
I have to update some table ( Not LTAK or LTAP) and I found the above mentioned user exit.
However, after creating and activating this enhancement , this enhancement is not triggering during the confirmation of the TO.
The description of the component is: User Exit at End of TO Confirmation (in Update Task)
I found from another SDN post that it directly will not get triggered during TO confirmation.But, I want to check what data at the run time system is capturing in this exit, how can I check that ?
I have tried by setting a breakpoint in the FM - CALL FUNCTION IN UPDATE TASK, but ultimately could not fathom anything.

Many many thanks.
After I received your reply, I did a bit of google on Update debugging and learned how to set it on.
After that, I tested and this time the breakpoint triggered.
Thanks again, closing the issue.
N.B. - For switching on debugger in update mode, go to normal debugging mode, then go to settings > Display/Change debugger settings > Update debugging.
Helpful tip for functional consultants like me !!
