IDOCS for GOA not generated in ECC.

Hi Friends,
In our development systm we have configured the GOA functionality. Now we have moved to Quality system.
I have maintained all the partner profiles and distribution model as required in std settings and similar to the development system and checked all the connection. It all seems to be fine in both SRM & ECC systems. Also identical number doc types & ranges exists in the 2 systems.
But when I release a GOA from SRM I do not find any trace. Following are the symptoms.
SRM - RZ20 - No Error.
SRM SLG1 - No error.
ECC - RZ20 - No Error.
ECC - SLG1 - No error.
SRM - SWi1 workflow task is completed.
GOA status - Released - In Distribution.
In ECC contract is not created.
In WE02 /ECC there is NO node for BLAORD & COND_A under the Inbound Idocs.
What can be the possible issue under these circumstances. Please suggest how can I trace the error.

Remote Logon is working fine both ways.
About distribution model what I did is create a message type in SRM for BLAREL. Then I created a message type in ECC for BLAORD + COND_A. I generated partner profiles and then tried to distribute it so that it creates a similar model in SRM too. While doing this I got error that view for BLAREL already exists in destination (SRM side).
So I deleted the BLAREL model view in SRM and then tried again to distribute from ECC. Only then it created a message types in SRM too. I.e I created the complete distribution model in ECC side and distributed to SRM.
Is my method correct.

I am working on a change pointer mechanism for triggering the IDOC for delivery note and will be using this message class DESADV.
So SAP has suggested for assigning the message class DESADV with the function module in MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_DESADV in BD60 transaction code.
So I was looking to create this MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_DESADV function module in SAP and SAP suggesting that we should create this MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_DESADV function module as same as the function module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_MATMAS.
So do anyone knows that is there any tool has been provided by SAP for creating this function module MASTERIDOC_CREATE_SMD_DESADV in SAP system for triggering the change pointer mechanism for outbound Delivery.

Hi,
When you are change pointer the system itself will take care of sending the changed master data to your partner system and the user will not have any intervention. If you really wanted to have that then you need to use the change pointers to read the master data which is modified in a custom program and then display that on the screen. Once the user selects that master data records then trigger an IDOC for creating the idoc for that master data and also flag that master data record as processed in the SAP BDCPS standard table, so that the same record will not be picked. If you wanted to know how the change pointers piece of code is written go through the program RBDMIDOC and you can understand how the change pointers logic is written.

SAP QM-EWM - Inspection Lot not generated in ECC

Hi Gurus,
Need your advice with QM-EWM integration.
We are trying to generate an Inspection lot "01" in ECC while using EWM as our Warehouse.
Material is not HU managed so the trigger of IL should be via Good Receipt. If material is HU managed the inspection lot trigger is via Inbound delivery HU assignment.
The following has been done:
Material is QM active "01" not HU set up in ECC
Material is assigned to an Inspection Plan in ECC
We do not have QIE in place
SLOC used does not require HU
Below is the process.
Purchase Order is created in ECC
Inbound delivery is created in ECC and distributed in EWM
GR happens in EWM and reflects in ECC
The question now is it possible to generate an Inspection lot in ECC even if GR happens in EWM? w/o EWM the scenario is generating Inspection lots.

No. You need to have the QIE to trigger the inspection lot creation in ECC.
"We do not have QIE in place"
This is the first thing you need.
Somewhere here in this space I thought is also a document describing how to set it up - but could not find it right now.

Idoc all segments not generated

Dear Everyone,
                      I am doing File to Multple IDOC scenario.Multiple Idocs are generated successfully but only one segment fields are coming.I used 5 segments while doing mapping.
E1KNA1M
   E1KNVVM
     E1KNVPM
E1KNB1M
     E1KNB5M.
             only E1KNA1M segment turned into GREEN,remaining 4 segments are still showing as GREY color only.but i mapped some fileds in all those 4 segments with source fields.IDOC also generated without errors.I need to get remaining 4 segments fields also.I couldn't find what the error is.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
To get generate the fields of a segment and the segment occurence is 0...unbounded
then you need to map the source field based on which the no of target segment has to be occured. if there is no such source field then need to map the constant to the target segment so that fields under that segment will get generated in the target mapping..

We have created a copy of the standard IDOC program IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1 to process Advance Ship Notices. We are not calling the DELIVERY_CREATE form in our copy of the program. We are calling the module ME_CONFIRMATION_UPDATE to update the EKES data. The flag KZDIS is set to X during the call. The IDOC will process with no errors.
When the IDOC is processed, the Shipping Notice is being displayed on the MD04 screen, but the quantity is not being deducted from the Rec/reqd quantity on the PO line. When someone goes to the screen ME22N screen and saves the PO (with out making any changes), the Rec/reqd quanties are recalculated correctly.
Can someone tell what what I am missing or doing wrong.

CYCLE COUNT INDICATORS WITH ABC FOR MATERIALS NOT GENERATING SESSION MICN

how often a material is to be counted is defined in customizing of your ABC cycle count indicators and its assignment to the material master.
at which day the material is due for counting depends on last count date for this material (or creation date of material master accounting view if no last count date is available).
and last but not least it is the user who decides for which period (from and to date) he want create inventory documents with MICN
for example, just enter a from date of today and a to date December 31st 2011, and SAP will show you all materials that are due to be counted in that period with the proposed counting date.

Go to the 'Edit Query' panel and press the 'SQL' button. There is a 'Use Custom SQL' check box that allows you to change the SQL manaully and if you 'Save' the results will work the same as 'Do Not Generate SQL ...'

Dump not generating after unexpected shutdown of 2008 VM

I am facing issue with my server, server is getting unexpected shutdown , this is virtual server created on VMware environment. I have checked memory dump settings are
enabled on server but it is not generating any type of dump.<o:p></o:p>
below are the registry configured on server<o:p></o:p>

Can someone help me on this why dump are not generating this server and what are the possible reason for dump not generated.<o:p></o:p>

yes, path is correct and it is %systemroot%\MEMORY.DMP
so no issue with registry configuration , so what would be the issue !

Not generating IDOC for payment Advice to Vendors

Hi,
IDOC was getting generated before one month but now SAP system has stopped generating IDOC for vendor Payment advice. This problem is with all the vendors.
After execution of t-c-ode F110, payment document is successfully created, but IDOC is not geenerated. There is no log about "IDOC not getting generated"
Checked Table REGUH, IDOC number is displayed as 0000000000000.
This was happening perfectly one month back.
There is no change in Vendor master data, IDOC number range is available.
There is no posting of IDOC in table DFKKTHP and checked Report REREMITADV for which there is no data.

Hi,
First check certain customization:-
(1) FBZP setup for payment method at country level. Whether IDOC generation program is assigned or not.
(2) Then check the variant of RFFOEDI1 in the printout tab of F110. Is the selection creteria OK?
(3) Check the partner profile in WE20 for the bank.
Then run the program RFFOEDI1 in SE38 for your payment run and check the output.
You can also get this program debugged from you ABAPer to have root cause analysis.

Which iDOC Type for Credit/Debit notes generated from SD Module ?

We are implementing an EDI Solution for SD Invoices which would involve sending EDIFACT Messages generated out of mapping the SAP iDOC TYPE INVOIC02 to the EDIFACT fields.
We also have to send Credit and Debit Notes generated from SAP in the SD Module in the same path. We are currently planning on using INVOIC02 for doing this.
My Question: Is this the proper approach ? We don't want to use the Credit / Debit advises in FI-GL to post to Credits to Customer Account.
Is there any other iDOC Type or message type that we should be using for SD Credit/Debit Notes ?

Outbound Idocs are not generated for some material number MATNR

but the problem is the IDOCS are not generated and also we can't find the IDocs in TRFC also.
But it is working for the other matnr.

Workitem is not generating for an Inbound Idoc

Hi All,
The problem I am facing, when inbound idoc is processing in SAP, if there are any errors occurred, it would generate a work item and that will be sent to user Inbox (SBWP) as per the workflow. Here it is not generating a work item for an inbound idoc where is there is an error. So user is not receiving work item mail to inbox, to check about the idoc error. This idoc has been processed through the function module.
Could you please let us know your input on this issue.

Hi Hitu,
The problem could be at multiple places.
To debug check the workflow which sends the workitem to the user when an error occurs.
Check if this workflow is getting triggered when the error occurs. If yes, then check the step whre this workflow fails.
Else, check the event linkage of this workflow and check if the associated event is getting triggered or not. If yes, check if the event linakge is active for the workflow.
There could be other places as well to diagnose the error.
Check if these inputs gives you some direction.

Communication IDoc is not generating after master IDoc for "DEBMAS"

i have done all steps from the beginning to the end for an Idoc transfer of type "DEBMAS".I have created the settings in BD61,BD50 and BD52.And also i can work with other master message types like ARTMAS.I didn't give any filter groups in BD64 for the message type "DEBMAS".When ever i execute BD21(RBDMIDOC) only master idoc is generating,there is no communication idocs for the message type "DEBMAS".Please help someone in this issue.
My special question / doubt is, when ever a master idoc creating ,is it must to create a communication idoc ,if there is no filter in "DEBMAS"?
Please clear someone and explain my doubt.

communication IDoc is missing when ...
- Distribution Modell is missing
- Filter in Distribution Model is existing an no IDoc is generated (Filter at KNA1M segment only)
try the following.
Goto BD12. Choose your partner and the receiving System and send an IDoc.
Is the Comm. IDoc generated ?
if yes ... there is something with your ChangePointer Logik (BD52, .... look at Table BDCP/V)
if no ... you should take a deeper look at BD64 distribution model.
Maybe the receiver partner or filter is not correct.

Material Master Change Pointer IDOCs not generated for Moving Avg Price GR

No IDOC is created or distributed when the moving average price
changes. Each time a Goods Receipt is performed, the material master
moving average price (MBEW-VERPR) changes but the change is not
distributed. No change pointer is created in the tables. Why?
We need to send the moving average price each time it changes. In our
case, each time a Inbound Delivery has been Post Goods Receipt this
value changes for that material + plant combination and the value
should be sent.
The field MBEW-VERPR is included in BD52 as a field relevant for change
pointers for the message type.
Please advise.

Hello,
SAP will not generate change pointers (and no IDOCs) for Moving Average Price (MAP) changes. This is because MAP updates are not really Master Data changes and they are driven by transactions such as Goods Receipts, Revaluations etc. For these transactions, SAP will generate respective accouting documents for traceability.
