How to send IDOCS to the third party system in CRM like SAP R/3.Please guide I want to send qutation through ALE.Please guide me.

IDoc to CRM - change pointers?

Hi,
I'm currently involved in scenarios where I need to post various CRMXIF_* IDocs to CRM.
What I'm wondering is, if I need to maintain change pointers in the IDocs - that is at header and item level maintain the fields OBJECT_TASK or TASK with proper values being either U (UPDATE), I (INSERT), C (CURRENT STATE), D (DELETE)?
Now I've never had to do this before in any other IDoc scenario I've developed, so it would surprise me a little if its necessary - but need to be sure. It's my impression that SAP handles this internally and automatically, so that there is no need to worry about it!?

Hi,
Change pointer concept is in R3 side not in Xi side.That is to be created and activsted in R3 Side and send the Idoc by triggering the change pointer.

How to extend an IDOC in CRM

Hi,
Can we extend an IDOC in CRM, I am new to the era of CRM and I got a requirement to extend an IDOC TYPE and
when I try to extend the IDOC TYPE in CRM as how we do in R/3 the system displays message as "Action is not possible for generated IDOC types. Can any one suggest
what could be the problem.
or is there any alternative way to Extend IDOCS in CRM.

You can do that. Go to transaction we30, create an extension to the Basic type. Create the segments. And you are done.

BAPIs, IDOCs Referencing CRM Module

Where and how can I find BAPIs and ALE/IDOCs referencing CRM module in SAP?
Is there any document or site where i can get the list of BAPI and ALE/IDOCs?

Is there any way to send HR-specific IDoc to CRM?

Hi,
Does anyone know if there's a way to send SAPHR-specific IDoc, which does not exist in CRM, from HR to CRM?
If this IDoc was created in basis, there won't be any problem, since the IDoc type and message type would exist in both HR and CRM. But if the IDoc and message type are HR specific, which means they don't exist in CRM, is there a way to send the IDoc to CRM for processing?

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I'm look for a solution to download HR employee balance to CRM. The IDoc type in HR is HRCC1DNBALAN01.
The problem is that, not like IDoc HRMD_ABA, which exist in basis, this IDoc type and related message type don't exist in CRM.
How can I use this IDoc type in CRM?

Opportunities Load via IDOC in CRM

Hi Guys
I am trying to load opportunity via IDOCS. I am using the message type CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01.
The only problem I am facing is to get a reference lead ID in the Opprtunity.
In easy access the reference lead number is inputted on the details page tab of the opportunity. I am want to load 10,000 opportunities via idoc with each having a reference lead ID.
I am not finding a relevant segment where in the above mentioned IDOC type where I can input the lead number. The Lead ID field name in Easy access is OBJECT_ID3.
Please let me know how I can input the reference Lead ID in an opportunity using IDOCS?

Is there any IDOC available post the delivery data with third party from CRM.

We are using CRM 5.0.
Communication is through EDI signals.
Order status(like delivery etc) is flows to CRM from from R/3

Hi Raju,
If you are using Idoc WMMBXY02 or any WMMBXY* ,and if you want to receive against the delivery, you have to populate the Idoc field E1MBXYI-KZBEW with 'B' and populate field E1MBXYJ-VLIEF_AVIS with your delivery number (don't forget to pad with leading two zeros).
This will work. Try it and let me know. I am sure it will work.

Hi,
I've read about CRM Middleware, ALE/EDI and the usage of IDOCs for communication between SAP CRM and Non SAP System.
I need to see the existing IDOCs that can be used for CRM.
For example I need an IDOC for a Service Order... this is just an example, how can I search them?

Generate Outbound IDoc In CRM

Hello Experts!
Upon create and/or update of an Opportunity in CRM, I'd like the system to automatically generate an Outbound IDoc.
I've already configured the following:
   1. Define Logical Systems and Assign Client to Logical System - Transaction SALE
   2. Maintain RFC Destinations - Transaction SM59
   3. Define the Ports - Transaction WE21
   4. Maintain Distribution Model - Transaction BD64
   5. Generate/Create Partner Profile Transactions BD82 and WE20
   6. Distribute Model View Transaction BD64
Upon creation of an Opporunity and viewing transaction WE02, I unfortunately do not see any created IDocs
The only part I'm missing (as far as I can tell) is how to tell the system to actually generate the IDoc upon create and/or update of an Opportunity.
Does anyone know how I can accomplish this?

I figured it out... Here are the steps I was missing:
7. Configure External Interface Adapter (XIF) with Subscription 'All Business Transactions' - Transaction SMOEAC
8. Assign Site ID to Interface Type with BDoc Type 'BUS_TRANS_MSG' and Interface Name 'CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE' and Complete = checked - Transaction CRMIX_C1
Hope this information helps anyone looking to send IDocs out of CRM
Also, this procedure can be used to send Business Partner IDocs, too

Idoc for CRM product and relationships

Hi,
I am looking for an IDOC for product in CRM that has also a structure representing the relationships with other products.
The transaction is COMMPR01, chose a product (of type materials), on the top of the page there is a button 'Relationships', the Accessories tab, there you can enter other products, I need an IDOC that represent this structure.

In crm no IDOC's are used only BDOC'S . You can look in to that angle.Like that u can get some clues.

IDOC-Xi-IDOC: CRM - XI -R/3 (No service for system SAPOCC, client ** in ID)

I am doing a scenario IDOC - Xi - IDOC where CRM sends an IDOC to R/3 via PI.
I have configured everything in OCC (CRM system), PI and BSC (R/3 system) but when I test it with the transaction WE19 in OCC nothing happens in PI or BSC.
All i can see if a message in SM58 transaction in OCC.
Function Module - IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS
Target System - XI.
Status Text - No service for system SAPOCC, client *** in Integration Directory.
Could anyone tell me what is the problem.

Error message: No service for system SAPCRD client 201 in the integration directory
Cause: There is no service without party in PI server that represents OCC server with client details.
Solution:
We send IDocs from system OCC to PI. In the control record (Segment EDIDC40) of the IDoc, the SNDPOR (SenderPort) field contains the value "SAPCRD". The client of the sending system is determined by the MANDT field of the control record. The system ID and client are then used to determine a service without party of the type (business-system/business-service)
In System Landscape Directory (SLD) create a technical system for OCC system and assign a client for the same. Don't forget to assign an "ALE logical system" to the technical system created. Create a business system for this technical system. Then Business System can be imported under service without party/update the details existing in PI.

How to transfer sales order idoc from R/3 to CRM

Hi,
I want to generate the sales order idoc in R/3 (ORDERS) and replicates to CRM through XIF adapter.
The sales documents are not realy existing in R/3. We can only get the information from related biling documents and try to gerenate ORDERS idoc.
The problem is how to map R/3 idoc to CRM idoc(CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_M01). The administration console seems can only send the idocs but not receiving them.

Can you please answer the questions? I am a little bit confused.
If you don't have the order in R/3, are you not going to create one when creating the ORDERS IDoc? If yes, then this order will go to CRM automatically if you have the middleware set properly.
If you are NOT creating any order in R/3 during the IDoc step, Why would you want the order in CRM when you don't have it in R/3?
Are you not going to keep the middleware between R/3 and CRM open? If you keep it open, the order from CRM will crossover to R/3 - in which case you could have created the order in R/3 in the first step itself !!!
If you are not keeping the middleware open between R/3 and CRM - I don't know why would you want to keep the orders in CRM, but not in R/3. Is it because of lack of good CRM consultants in the project?

IDoc for BP migration is in error on transferring from CRM 4.0 to 7.0

Hi,
We have a requirement to migrate Business Partners from CRM 4.0 to CRM 7.0. We are using the message type CRMXIF_PARTNER_SAVE_M for this purpose. The IDocs are generated correctly from CRM 4.0 and carry the correct data. The status of Idoc in CRM 4.0 is set to 03.
However, on checking in CRM 7.0 system, we found the IDocs to be in error with a status of 51. The IDocs fail validation on the Birthdate field - where first 3 digits are replaced by spaces.
Any suggestions on how to correct the birthdate field? There are no changes being done to the data during mapping on either the inbound or outbound site.

IDOC import from CRM 7.0 to SAP PI 7.0 fails: unable to read segments

Hello,
We want to import an Idoc from a CRM 7.0 system to SAP PI 7.0.
The import fails with the message ""unable to read segments".
The issue is related to ALL Idocs, standard and customer defined.
The result of any import is that we can see the object in the import folder, but the structure is missing.
Importing any RFC from the same CRM system is no problem.
Any ideas?

Thank you for your answer.
But we need to find out what the reason for this import error is.
Our customer will not be very pleased to see that all IDocs from CRM system cannot be found in the IDOC folder.
IDX2 import of metadata is no issue.
We were successful for standard and customer Idocs here.
Additional information:
We are already importing Idocs from a SAP ECC 6.0 system into PI in another SWCV
successfully. So this is a CRM system specific issue in our environment.
