Idocs in IDX5 but error exists in outbound

I have a scenario File -- > XI -- > R/3 (Idoc). The Idocs are visible in IDX5 but they are not transferred to the destination R/3 system. The Idoc’s created in IDX5 have a chequered flag but in the outbound there is a red flag with an error “Error in outbound exists”. What could I missing which is not sending the Idocs to the R/3 system?
-Teresa

Hi,
Check the XI Server in SM59 RFC Destination to Connect R/3 system.
In this RFC Destination what user you are using for that user all authorization given by Basis. If that user doesn't have some times authorization then you can not create the IDOC'S in R/3 system.
Go to XI Tcode ; IDX5 , Double click on TID then check the message . If the message is relevant to authorization then you need to contact ur Basis guy.

Venu.

  • Receiver IDoc Adapter - Outbound IDocs in IDX5 but stucked in SM58

    Hi Gurus,
I have a Receiver IDoc issue with the above error.
My message is successful in the IE pipeline (but with error on outbound side)
I can even view the generated IDoc numbers for those messages in IDX5,   but when double-clicking on those IDX5 entries SM58 is called and there I see the error as follows:
    Caller:  PIAFUSER
    FM:  IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS
Status Text: No Authorization to send IDocs with Message Type 0
The weird thing is why is the caller showing as PIAFUSER, when my RFC destination is using a custom RFC user id.
Shouldn't it be that the Caller be my custom RFC user id since this is the user used by the RFC destination i specified in the receiver idoc comm channel?
Would anyone of you know how to resolve this?
I have already implemented Note 837595 for (a) my custom RFC user id in the target system (b) PIAFUSER and PIISUSER in my Integration Server;  and assigned SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role to PIISUSER also as specified in  http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/d4/d12940cbf2195de10000000a1550b0/content.htm
I am aware that IDoc should be sent to the receiving system by using the IDoc adapter and NOT by using the IDoc Interface (tRFC port)
    Thanks in advance

    Hi All,
I resolved this on my own.
The steps i specified in my 1st post (Note implementation & Role assignment) was not enough, we had to assign SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW to the rfc user.    The Note implementation & role assignment should have solved this problem, but strangely it was not enough.
As for the question on why PIAFUSER is showing up as the caller and not the RFC user id used in the rfc destination used by the port, it's because the original caller is what gets recorded in SM58, in this case Receiver IDoc adapter on the AE so PIAFUSER,   and not the RFC user id.   you can verify this in table ARFCSSTATE

  • Message has error status at outbound side File To Idoc Scenario

    hi ,
In my File to Idoc scenario , when i go to sxmb_moni , i found that its showing red flag at Outbound Status Tab and showing message "Message has error status at outbound side".
When i go to IDX5 and and select my idoc and click on Transaction Id it shows "Password logon no longer possible - too many faile" .
Please suggest what may be the problem ?
    Regards,
    Rohit

    1. First check the RFC destination name used in receiver Idoc adapter communication channel.
    2. As i said earlier, in sm59 transaction in XI gui, u can check same rfc destination under type 3. There check the logon credentials and the username.
    3. Now goto the R3 system GUI and check in su01 that same user is locked or not. If locked unlock it.
    4. And if u change the password of that user, then do the similar change in XI -> sm59 -> rfc destination logon credential

  • PI 7.0: IDOCs struck in IDX5 with error "Time Limit Exceeded".

    Hi All,
We have a File to IDOC scenario in PI 7.0. After mapping the IDOCs are posted from PI to ECC System.
On a normal day this interface works good, yesterday we received a huge file which resulted in the creation of about 25000 IDOCs from one single file. The mapping went fine, however the IDOCs created were not posted into ECC System. When we monitor the IDOCs using transaction code IDX5 in PI system, we found the error message as "Time limit exceeded", the user shown was "PIAFUSER". To overcome this error, we increased the time limit of PIAFUSER from default to about 1500 seconds.
Now, I want to push these IDOCs from PI into ECC System. Could you please let us know, how to push these IDOCs sitting in PI system to ECC?
We do not want to reprocess the file from the beginning. Please let us know if it is possible to push the IDOCs without processing the file? If yes, how to reprocess?
    Thanks in advance.

    Manohar Dubbaka.

    Hi,
the help documentation is as follows:
    Check the tRFC Status
    Use
tRFC calls which transfer IDocs use the function module IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS at reception (before release 4.0: INBOUND_IDOC_PROCESS).
If an IDoc in the sending system has been passed to tRFC (IDoc status "03"), but has not yet been input in the receiving system, this means that the tRFC call has not yet been executed.
    Activities
To check the status of the tRFC calls, choose Tools ® IDoc Interface/ALE ® Administration ® Monitoring ® Troubleshooting ® RFC Queue (SM58) and specify any additional selection criteria.
The program RSARFCEX restarts unsuccessful tRFC calls.
You cannot choose the option is being executed in background processing.

  • IDOC Error - Entry in outbound table not found - Status 37

    Hello,
we try to generate the IDOC in a Test Tool WE19. I always get the same error "Entry in outbound table not found" - Status 37. I tried already many config changes (Partner, Ports, Distribution Modell...).
The thing is that the IDOC should be sent on external system (non-SAP System) but also the IDOC should be write to file. The external system should later on catch the IDOC and process the data.
I suppose the problem is the fact that we send it to external non-SAP System. I add as Port Data and the source where the IDOC shoud be generated. The Partner that I choose is logical system. However I dont specify the RFC Connection because the file should only be saved and not send directly on the external system. Is it possible or maybe I need to specify the IP-Adress of the external system?
When it works I need to generate the IDOC as service management IW32. I try it with TA IORD. I get the message "rejected". Probably because of the error in the test tool WE19.
I am already fighting on it for many hours...
    Thank you in advance
    Michael

  • Print Problem - PDF is OK on Windows 7, but OK on Windows XP with "Acrobat Reader An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem."

I have received a PDF which prints fine in Windows 7 but with Windows XP I get "Acrobat Reader An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." and a blank piece of paper passes through the printer. I appreciate that Windows XP is no longer supported but I would like to think that the solution to this problem is not too difficult!
    I have tried Acrobat 9, 10 and 11.
Any advice (apart from use Windows 7! ) would be most welcome.
    Many thanks.

If you use the same Adobe Reader versions with the same PDF on Windows 7 and XP, then I would expect the outcome to be the same.
Is this a local or online PDF?
If local, is the file really exactly the same?
    If online, in what browser?

  • I created a brochure in pages and exported it to a pdf format. The pdf looks and opens perfectly using preview but when opened in adobe reader (which my printer uses), fonts look odd, transparencies don't display...etc. Tells me error exists on page?

I created a brochure in pages and exported it to a pdf format. The pdf looks and opens perfectly using preview but when opened in adobe reader (which my printer uses), fonts look odd, transparencies don't display...etc. Tells me error exists on page?

Does this essentially mean there is no way to fix this problem on my end? It's a pity because the design and branding of my brochure will suffer if I remove transparencies and use different fonts. It also concerns me moving forward because it means the quality of print on my pieces will be significantly lower because most commercial printers use Adobe products.

  • How to update the status of Outbound IDOC in case of error

I want to know about how to update the status of Outbound IDOC in case of error.
I am using message control functionality here.

    HI,
If u r using the standard message and basic type
u can do it in the FM attached to the basic and message type. There u need to write ur own message instead of standard SAP message..chek if there r any userexits available in the FM..where u can overwrite ur own message ..
If u r using the Zmessage and Zbasic type
then u need to declare an internal table of EDIDS structure and then append ur message to the internal table..
    idoc_status-docnum   = idoc_contrl-docnum.
      idoc_status-msgty    = <message type>
      idoc_status-msgid    = message-id.

  • Error exists when Admin2 loads same file in BW but loads ok for Admin1. Why

    Hi,
Why does this error exists when Admin2 loads same file but loads ok for Admin1?
    A u201CCalendaru201D column in a flat file has value 200810  i.e. October of 2008.
    BW Admin 1:
When Admin1 loads this file, it comes out ok as Calendar Year/Month as 200810 in PSA and the load completes without any error.
    BW Admin 2:
Now, for the same file, when Admin 2 loads (on his laptop), the load fails and gets the message that, "....  00810 is not plausible..."
Somehow, it drops the initial 2 from 200810 during the load for Admin 2.
The suspicion was that Admin 1 had as Default in SU3,
    Date format:  YYYY/MM/DD.
Admin 2 therefore switched his to the same Date format:  YYYY/MM/DD.
Yet, the described load problem still exists.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Yes, it is the same infopackage for the same cube, Admin 1 used to do this load, and is now moving on to a different project, so the only difference is that Admin 2 is now doing the same job from his workstation but everything on the Data Flow is the same.
In fact, Admin 2 went to Admin 1, after forwarding the .csv file and on Admin 2's workstation, the same file was tested by Admin 2, using the same infopackage, and it loaded without the above problem for Admin 2.
    Thanks

  • Error status on outbound side

    Hi experts,
I am in JDBC to IDOC scenario and right now i face following error in SXI_MONITOR (black and white flag in status field BUT Red flag in outbound status):
"Message has error status on outbound side"
This is a heavy interface (up to 8MB) but, in the past, we did not receive this error. I saw that there is an entry in SM58 from the PIAFUSER that says "Lock table overflow"
Thus, I set the parameter enque/tablesize up to 8192 MB but after restarting the system it did not work either, a new entry in SM58 is shown.
If i analyse the runtime tab of the response of the message i can see
<SAP:AdapterStatus>007</SAP:AdapterStatus> --> for an erroneous interface execution (payload=7,2MB)
    <SAP:AdapterStatus>006</SAP:AdapterStatus>  --> for a successful execution (payload 6.5 MB)
Can anyone plz, help me on this?
I cannot explain why we did not face this in the past.
Can you please explain how the lock table works? and what does the overflow means?
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards,
    David

Besides, i dont think it is gonna be a matter of disk spaces as all of them have, at least, 3.0 Gb of free space.
Any other clue? I increased the enque/table_size up to 65 MB and the lock table overflow in SM58 still remains!!!
