IDOCs: possible to reprocess in "parallell" mode from status 51?

We loaded approx 5000 idocs via LSMW, and forgot to check the "Parallell processing" checkbox under the parallell proc-tab when initiating the "Start idoc processing"-step.
The idocs are in CRM, using IPC in the processing, and without the parallell option on, the IPC_RFC_DISPATCHER shuts down after approx 100 idocs. Remaining idocs fail (to status 51).
Now, I can start reprocessing of the idocs using BD87, but keep on getting the same error, thus I have to restart the IPC approx 50 times. I therefore want to start the reprocessing using RBDAPP01 with the parallell option checked, but RBDAPP01 it tells me it cannot find the IDOCs.
I guess I need to alter the status from 51 to 64 before running RDBAPP01.
For status change, I searched the forums, and found reference to program RC1_IDOC_SET_STATUS, but this seems unavailable in CRM. Is there another way?
Or maybe another way to invoke parallell processing from status 51?
I will appreciate any hints on this matter.

Yes, you can, but with some notes. Braby sent some data, I add some other.
Target Mode has two basic roles:
1. to turn a mac into an external drive and/or external optical drive (if it has one, until Air era, all had); you may use this way if your internal optical drive is damaged and you wish to use the optical unit of the other mac; or use it as a simple external disk for backup purposes or else.
2. to boot from a such-booted mac.
#1 is usable with any two macs disregarding whether they are both PPC, both intel, or combination PPC-intel, as the behavior is like any external disk drive or external optical drive.
#2 is impossible if you want to boot the other mac, they must be both intel or PPC, as you cannot use an intel-based mac as a boot mac for the other ppc-mac, and vice-versa.
So said and clarified, you may use, but not if you intend to boot the other one if you wish to use it for various purposes implying boot.

When you say 'open loop' and 'closed loop', are you referring to running the application in position and torque mode? If not, how exactly are your controlling a servo motor in open loop?
In closed loop mode, the encoder values will be used as reference and the motion VIs can be used to configure the software limit as required. Are you currently losing the software limits? If so, how exactly are you losing these values? I am not sure I understood what exactly is happening with software limits in your program, so any more information on this would be useful.

Sadly there is nothing in Skypes Code fot it. In fact, Skype for Mac, is one of the most Vanilla versions out. Windows Version has 5x-10x the user functionality. Since Microflops buy into Skype, Mac versions will continue to be second rate on purpose, but be thankful, if Microflop was there from teh beginning, they woudl have banned a Mac version, just like they do in their higher tier games.

Transaction using which an IDOC can be processed in Foreground mode

Hi,
Can you please suggest a transaction using which an IDOC can be processed in Foreground mode? We have seen that from SAP Inbox, it is possible to navigate and process IDOC in Foreground mode. We are looking for a Transaction code which will allow us to do the same.
We tried using BD87 but we did not find an option which allows processing an IDOC in Foreground mode.

BD87 should let you do this.
Execute BD87 to select the failed IDOC.
click on the line with the failed IDOC, then use menu option Edit -> Restrict and Process.
On the next screen the IDOC number will show, and un-check the "Bkgd processing" check box at the bottom of the screen and execute.
The next screen will display the status record for the IDOC, then select menu entry Edit ->Process -> Foreground Processing.
This will then reprocess the IDOC in foreground mode.

Boot Windows 8.1 in MBR mode from UEFI GRUB

i installed Windows 8.1 in BIOS/MBR mode to my second hardisk /dev/sdb.
On my first disk /dev/sda is Archlinux with GRUB 2.0 in UEFI mode.
Is it possible to boot Windows 8.1 from the UEFI GRUB?

Actually, rEFInd can switch from EFI-mode to BIOS-mode booting; however, on PCs it's usually restricted to booting the BIOS-mode boot loader in the MBR of the first disk. Thus, you might need to physically swap your disk cables to get it to work. You'll also need to uncomment the "scanfor" line in refind.conf and add "hdbios" to its boot options list.
Oh, you also need a version of rEFInd compiled with Tianocore, not GNU-EFI. My own main binaries are so compiled (I'm rEFInd's author), and I believe that Arch's are, too, but some others are built with GNU-EFI.

How to restore XP Mode from backup VHD file?

Please can you give us some steps on how to restore from these backups?
I have Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit .
I have XP Mode looking nice now, with my legacy game installed and running nicely
I have created a folder called C:\XP Mode Backups Apr 7 2014
In this folder are 59 folders and files copied from the backup directories
%USERPROFILE%/AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Virtual PC
%USERPROFILE%/AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Virtual PC\Virtual Machines
%USERPROFILE%/Virtual Machines
So, in the event that I have to re-install XP Mode, how can I restore it as is will all the applications, and especially ALL the Windows Updates for XP Mode that I cannot connect to the internet ever again after 8th April 2014.
You see my concern, after XP D-Day, I am only supposed to run XP Mode after I have disconnected from the internet.
So, I don't want to have to spend 2 hours on the internet downloading all the updates that were released prior to XP Apocalypse day.
Is it possible for some instructions on how to restore from the above files?
I am guessing that I can just re-install XP Mode from the download (which I am also keeping in that folder, then copy the files from the above backup directory into the correct locations on my Windows 7 C:\ drive.
Alternatively, is it just a case of going to the %USERPROFILE%/Virtual Machines directory, click Create Virtual Machine and after choosing location, and clicking Next, select Use an existing virtual hard
disk and choose the VHD for Windows XP Mode in my restore folder? I guess in this case there is no need to reinstall XP Mode from the download executable from Microsoft?

But, the best solution is to made a copy of the .VHD file for your XP Mode. You would need a functioning XP Mode system to restore any backups from your current XP Mode system. It acts and functions exactly as it would if you had the system installed

Network / external access when booted in single-user mode from install CD?

So I have this iBook with a semi-functional hard drive: can't boot from it (either normal or single-user), can't use it in Firewire Target Disk mode, can't fix it with Disk Utility, an overnight run with Disk Warrior seemed to be hung, etc, BUT if I boot in single-user mode from the install CD I can then mount it readonly and see at least many of the files on it.
So now I want to slurp the important ones of those files off of it over the network (or in any other clever way anyone can suggest). I'm not a huge Unix or Darwin expert, so an exact set of commands would be appreciated. *8) A friend suggested to me that I might be able to 'init' it at a 'runlevel' that included the networking stack, but I dunno what that means. *8) Does the CD in fact include a full networking stack? Or anything else that I might be able to use to slurp some data from the hard disk before it gives up entirely?

I think Ronda was hoping you had the Tiger Instal DVD, which has a copy of Terminal on it.
You said earlier that trying to boot into Target Disk Mode didn't work. Would it help you if you could? If so, I can show you how to do it from Single User Mode. I've done it, and it works, although admittedly I did boot into SU mode from my HD, not my Instal Disc (I have tried that, it also works, I just haven't done both together).
If you can make use of this, post back and tell me what you get from which nvram when you are booted in SU mode from your CD. It's possible that command won't be available on the CD—so we need to check first. If it says "which: no such command", try ls -l /usr/sbin/nvram instead.

How to call a method in parallel mode

I have a web application (ADF/JSF/EJB3) developed under jdev 11g
I need to call a method in my backing bean but in parallel mode.
The idea is that when the user click on a button to compute something i do not want the user to wait untill the process is finished.
e.g.

return null;
I do not want to wait until callMethodXY is finished to continue with my process.
I just want to call it in parallel and continue working normally.
Which is the best approach.

No, not my opinion at all. I was simply stating a fact that if you do this in another thread, you must not access FacesContext nor the binding container from that other thread - it's a technical limitation. If you have something that needs doing in the background, then a thread is a fine way to do it.

How to handle runtime error in PreUUT step when running in Parallel mode

I would like to run Test UUTS in parallel mode, and some actions are done in PreUUT such like read serial number and fixture control.
The process model won't goto PostUUT Step when runtime error occurs in PreUUT step, so i would like to add some actions to check if sequence error in cleanup and go back to setup in PreUUT step, but i find it skip all the actions in setup and main step?
What should i do if i want to go back to run PreUUT again as the first time to run when runtime error occurs?
Or, is there any good way to handle this kind of error withour restart program?

This question does not depend on PreUUT or ParallelModel at all.
First of all:
A Runtime Error is a situation where TestStand encounters a problem which makes further testing either impossible or senseless. So a Runtime Error always indicates a situation where proceeding the test sequence is not recommended.
Nevertheless, there are situation where you want to handle those errors without stopping the execution. A "traditional example" for this is initialising serial/GPIB devices. If the device does not reply, there might be different issues the operator can easily resolve and (if corrected) the sequence can proceed properly. The operators action could be:
- Check if device is switched on
- Check connection between PC and device
So the error state is used to inform the operator about the malfunctioning device and regarding of the actions the operator takes, the execution will either proceed or terminate.
When TestStand encounters a Runtime Error, it initially reacts with displaying a dialog. This behavior can be modified in the Station Options >> Preferences >> On Runtime Error.
Furthermore, you can install callback sequences which are called if an error occurs. Those would be either SequenceFilePostStepRuntimeError or ProcessModelPostStepRuntimeError (depending on the fact if you are changing the process model or simply working with client sequence file callback overrides). These are "normal" sequences you can use in order to get system information, loop on the step or....essentially do whatever you want. If you want to proceed though, you must not forget to reset the error flag.

I just got a doubt regarding transaction /SAPAPO/C5. One of my coleague is saying we should not execute this program in parallel mode, he says it may create some inconsistency( he got info from one of SAP person ). Is it true?, does any body any Info about this?. Can we execute in parallel?.

As far as I know, I do not know the clear restriction on this. And I know some customer who
use parallel processing of /SAPAPO/C5.
(Off course, when you schedule C5 in parallel, each job should different orders. So you need to be careful about selection variant).

Parallel Export from multiple Essbase cubes

Is it possible to take parallel Export from Essbase where the source data resides in multiple cubes? I am looking at using source data(lev 0) from multiple cubes and load into simultaneous txt files.

IF I read your question correctly, No. You can't merge multiple cube sources into one set of export files. The files are open for output and can't be shared. If you tried to do the one after the other into the same file, it would overwrite.
You could get creative and after the exports are done concatinate the files together to get a single file. I'm couroius, why do you need all the data in a single file. Even if oyu are loading to other systems you ssould be able to load multiple files. If not, then the concatination through a windows batch script or unix shell script would give you what you want.

Hi,
HXCSAW is a custom workflow which do nothing accept approving and that can be change as per customer requirement. This child workflow called by parent workflow process HXCEMP. If u going to change the HXCSAW then u also need to change the seeded package associated with this workflow to embed your logic.
We have done it through SSHR timesheet entry page, no idea if OTL timekeeper entry form carries approval or not.
Whts the nature of ur parallel approval ? and how u can able to manage if via workflow ?

Impdp / SQLfile and parallel mode ?

On 10g database we have a dump generated in parallel mode (parallel=8) and DUMPFILE=expdp_file%u.dat
Files are expdp_file01.dat, expdp_file02.dat, ... , expdp_file08.dat
I would like to retrieve all the grants in a sql file with this command :
impdp dba@mydatabase dumpfile=expdp_full%u.dat LOGFILE=impdp_gudb_test.log DIRECTORY=EXP_DIR sqlfile=grant.sql include=grant schemas=DBA parallel=8
Error occurs :
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-39047: Jobs of type SQL_FILE cannot use multiple execution streams.
Is there another way to retrieve all the grant from a multipart dump ?

Just leave the parallel=8 off. SQL file jobs can only run in serial mode. The export parallel does not have to match the import parallel, so just remove the parallel clause.
