IDS camera

Hi
I want to connect USB3 IDS camera to MYRIO
http://en.ids-imaging.com/store/produkte/kameras/usb-3-0-kameras/ueye-cp.html
The camera do work on labview that run on my desktop computer but Myrio does even recognize the camera. I already install the NI Vision drivers using the MAX but still noting happened. other camrea do work.
does any one have an idea?
Eviatar

Hi
IDS gave me a linux driver for this camera. is it possible to install this driver using putty?
some instructions:
"to install the driver you have to extract the files to the root directory and then to run the setup (make sure you are the root). Please run first
cd /;  tar -xf /ueyesdk-<target>-<version>.tar
and then:
/usr/local/share/ueye/bin/ueyesdk-setup.sh
Unfortunately there is no manual for the ARM driver portings, since they are not supported officially."
can I access linux as root user? what is the root password?
Thanks
Eviatar

  • Labview Vision Assist IDS camera

    I ordered a camera from IDS, the 3360CP. This is for my thesis. IDS has there own VI's for labview for the camera.
    The problem is that the image which is generated with those VI's is not compatible with the
    vision assistant module in labview 2013. I'm looking for a way to convert the image.
    I included the VI. If it doesn't open propperly the flowwing link can be used to install the labview VI on your pc.
    https://en.ids-imaging.com/download-ueye-interfaces.html
    They can be found under program files/IDS/uEye/otherdrivers/labview.

    The IDS cameras that require use of their SDK (the VIs they supply) are not directly compatible with IMAQdx, and hence, not suitable as image acquisition devices for use in Vision Assistant, and Vision Builder for Automated Inspection.
    You will need to incorporate the IDS VIs into your pipeline in a way that makes the acquired image available to the script.  Most likely, this would be by writing the image to disk, and then signaling the script that the image is ready. If you need fast frame rates, and are not able to do everything in pure labview, I recommend looking at a different camera.

  • We have migrated data from virsa 4.0 to grc 10.1, all virsa mitigation approvers and controllers got migrated but we are not able to map new mitigation approver and controller to the mitigation ids.

    Hello All,
    We have migrated data from virsa 4.0 to grc 10.1, all virsa mitigation
    approvers and controllers got migrated but we are not able to map new
    mitigation approver and controller to the mitigation ids.
    The steps we have done below.
    1. We have created user id in su01 with necessary authorizations
    2. we have declared this user id in Access control owners as a
        mitigation approver and assigned to the organization unit
    Now we are trying to map to newly created mitigation approver to the
    mitigation id but we are not able to find that approver id for the mitigation ids. (only old mitigation ids came from VIRSA only we are able to see, not able to add new mitigation approvers / controllers to the mitigation ids)
    Kindly check this issue, this is very critical for us.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Karunakar

    Hi Karunakar,
    - Assign Owners to Organization unit
    - Make these owners as Mitigation Approver and Monitor
    - Create Mitigation Id in this Org. unit

  • Error while run mp.verify()

    Hello,
    In our environment we are working with operation manager 2012.
    I use this guide to create override manually, using c#:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb960482.aspx
    This work for a while but now I am getting a weird error:
    Error 1:

    -------------------------------------------------------I am really don't know what's happened since that last time I saw my program workI can tell that some Monitor Objects still works fine and I am able to add overrides form them.We have try to look for solution but couldn't find any.Please help me to solve the problem.Thanks in advance,Aviram.

    hi,
    let me clarify it more.
    In my program I am using 3 ID to add the override.
    1. belong to the class
    2. belong to the monitor
    3. belong to the monitor object
    all 3 are exist. when I am debugging my program I don't see this ID on any of them, which make me think this is much deeper.
    also how can I check if this ID exist if I only have general ID and I can't associate it to any valid object?
    I have try to find from where I get this ID and what the meaning of the exception in "ManagementPackLanguagePack" but I couldn't find nothing in the web.
    thank.
    BTW, this is not a typo since I m not using any name, only IDs came from the program.

  • Can MDM Web Services return qualifier values?

    We are running MDM 5.5 SP06 Patch04 (we will be doing a technical upgrade to MDM 7 later this year).
    I am investigating the MDM web services and came upon a potential problem. In the test harness, I searched for a record, specifying ALL for the result definition and everything seemed to come back except qualifiers; lookup values came back, taxonomy values came back, qualified lookup display values came back, qualified link ids came back, but no qualifier values.
    I searched again on the qualified link record ids in the qualified lookup table and I got the non-qualifiers, which is the expected behavior. The qualifiers have to come back with the main table record, though.
    Are qualifiers not fully supported in the MDM 5.5 web services, or am I not searching properly?
    Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • I had 2 Apple IDs but now Apple implemented new conditions and i can't use one of them after 90 days using the prior one..! - "This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple ID"

    I have two Apple IDs because i travel frequently between Mexico and the US, and the apple stores offer different products, so i like to download music, movies and TV series from both sites.
    Apparently apple changed the conditions, becauise until a few days ago i could log our from one account and log in from my other one. Yesterday i was at Miami International Airport and wanted to download a few chapters from one of my TV series (Walking Dead) to watch on my way to Mexico City, but a pop up window came up saying "this device is already associated with an apple id". Curoiously, the ID to which i was connected to was precisely the one under which i had bought weeks ago the chapters i was wanting to download from the cloud. So it says i have to wait 90 days to change apple id.... weard! probably i accepted these terms when dowloading a new IOS version, so legally I'm dead in complaining, but why is it that if i am paying for all that i buy as a model citizen i am now blocked from jumping from one apple id to another one???? I can certainly buy another ipad and have one with one id and another one with the other, but is there any other way i can keep the two in just one device?? If i don't use i-could would anything change? This is really making me mad, and is the first time i have thought of moving our of mac products into samsung or others and buy my music and movies somewhere else where stupid restrictions like this one do not exist. Please help with a solution!

    OK, but in my ipad, the apple id i have in itues is already the one  iwant to have, but th one i used to sin in for i-coud is the other one. Any tip as to how to change the apple id for icloud and any idea how to know what apps i bought with the other apple id so as to delete them from my ipad to avoid being asked to enter another apple id every time they get updated? thanks!

  • Optical drive, camera and bluetooth problems with Acer Aspire 7520

    Hello everyone
    First, my DVD drive just stopped working, it's not being recognized by Arch it seems. This has happened before a few times, but it suddenly started to work. I can open the tray manually, and when I insert a DVD, you can see the led blinking and drive does start to spin, but thats all. I've tried removing and reloading cdrom module with no success. Also, there was a /dev/sr0 before, now it's gone.

    Now, the camera issue is a bit different. It worked before with no problems. But now, when I start guvcview, it opens it's main window, and a second window that usually show picture from camera, just appears for a moment and disappears. The led next to my camera turns on, and stays that way. Also, yesterday when I was trying to test the camera, guvcview stuck in a uninteruptible state, so I couldn't kill him in any way. Even after I close guvcview, the camera led is still on, but he is not among active processes. Although in the guvcview output below it says that the device is in use, I don't know how, because I rebooted my laptop and then I tried to run it.
    This is what guvcview outputs in console after I start and then close it:

    For the bluetooth, I really never managed to get it working. The bluetooth daemons starts with no problems, but hcitool dev shows no devices. I read the wiki, and the only thing I didn't try is the hid2hci tool, I couldn't figure out what to use for devpath argument.
    Thanks.

  • Built in camera not showing up in devices

    I have installed Skype but it can not find my built in camera (when I go to select the video device it doesn't find anything).  My system is a Dell Studio 1458.
    uname -r -s
    Linux 3.16.3-1-ARCH
    I have searched and can not find anything useful.  I can't even seem to locate my camera.  The Arch Webcam Setup has some information but I can't even find my device listed.  This webcam has worked in the past (on other operating systems) but I have never tried to get it to work on Arch until now.

    hello i just came back from the apple store and they had to restore my phone and i just downloaded all my apps and music back but my photos that are on icloud i only got 80 out of 768 back. what do i do to get all of them back?

    If you tried to restore to your iCloud backup and your photos didn't fully restore, first go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and make sure it isn't still in the process of restoring.
    If the restore is complete and all your photos weren't restored, all you can do is try restoring the backup again.  You might try the solution posted by ezjules in this discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589.  This involves opening the photos app after the phone restarts and you provide the passwords for your Apple IDs, then leaving it open for the remainder of the restore process.

  • Help with start up. new iMac 27" with Marericks installed has been giving me trouble with IDs and passwords.  More than one account downloaded from older Laptop.  Now the computer has the turning wheel in from of gray screen and won't go any further when

    I recently started using my desktop iMac 27" and have been having problems since installing Mavericks, not saying that Mavericks is the problem per se.  I think I have too many accounts with too many names, with too many Apple IDs and too many passwords, email passwords and Apple ID passwords, and keychain passwords, etc.  Can't keep them straight even though I write everything down.  The screen has been making me log in and log out with Account name and passwords after everything I've been doing, also confused about Users and Groups and how to sync everything. I finally just "shut down" everything and the screen was black.  When I turned the computer on again, the circular gear in the middle just kept turning but nothing happened after that.  Then I held the on button in the back until the screen went black again.
    What should I do?  Is there a way to combine all my accounts into one account with one Apple ID?  I should say that I also have trying to use iCloud and it has different IDs and passwords. Also when I try to log in with one account name, I can't enter anything I write,and when I type on the keyboard, nothing appears on the screen, although I can receive emails, I can't send them.
    In another account, what I type does appear on the screen, but I think it's an earlier account and doesn't translate aver to the other account. ALTHOUGH i set up iCloud accounts, they don't appear any more.
    Very confused.  Any Ideas about how I can get the computer to start up again and show a new screen?
    Thanks to anyone who has workable suggestions.

    If you really believe that your system has been compromised, here's what you do:
    Disconnect your Mac from your cable modem;
    Back up any documents on your system that are important to you;
    Boot your Mac from the system installation disks that came with it (insert the disk, restart your Mac, and hold down the "c" key until you get the "spinning gear" icon);
    Choose a language and click the arrow button to continue;
    From the Utilities menu, choose Disk Utility;
    In Disk Utility, select your computer's hard drive;
    Click the "Erase" tab;
    Click the "Security Options" button and select to have it overwrite all the data on the hard drive;
    Click the "Erase" button and allow it to process;
    Once the "erase process has completed (it will take a while), reinstall Mac OS X.
    Or, if this is too much for you to accomplish on your own, take your system to an Apple Store and have them help you perform these steps. If your system was indeed compromised, this will remove any such hack. You can then set up a new user account for the computer, reinstall your applications (reinstall only from original disks or downloads from the company making the software) and documents, and reconnect to the Internet.
    Note that when you reconnect to the cable modem, you may still get an IP address starting with 198. This is normal with some cable modems and probably not a cause for concern. • HT5312 How Do I Stop email Harassment from same person creating multiple apple Ids?

    Hi,
    I am being harassed by someone who is creating multiple apple ids and deleting them.  The person is constantly trying to get me to click on links.  When I tried to reply to one ID the person created, an error came up stating "this user does not exist" It then provided me with a code for that user.  I believe this person has hacked into my account on multiple occassion because a lot of time right after I change my password, it stopped working again a few days later.
    I feel I have no privacy.  This person sends all kinds of emails using the names of major brands as the front.  All the emails look cheap and it seems as if it wants you to select the "unsubscribe" button which then phishes my info someone.  Can someone tell me who I can report these emails at apple to investigate?  The would have to know who created the email links, which are used once then deleted, but the person who is doing this is the same I'm certain.

    Hello ascending404,
    Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with the emails you have been receiving.  I would be concerned about this too.  I found a resource that provides some good information about identifying and reporting emails like the ones you are recieving.
    I recommend reviewing the full article, but this specific section provides steps for reporting these emails:
    What to do with suspicious iCloud emails
    If you receive a suspicious email, select the message text so that it is highlighted. Choose Forward as Attachment from the Message menu (OS X Mail) or the Actions menu (Outlook). Send the email to [email protected] This provides Apple's legal department and law enforcement with useful information to help prevent future phishing emails.
    Note: For suspicious emails related to iTunes, see this article.

  • We have too many apple devices, how can I creat another apple ID and divide the devices among 2 Apple Ids?

    Hello all,
    We started off with the original iPhone a few years ago and now between my wife and I (plus Kids) we have too many apple devices under the same apple-ID (2 X iPhone 6+, 2X macbook Pro, 2X iPod-touch and 1X iPad)
    We are constantly running into issues because everyone in the house is using the same apple id, downloading Apps using the same ID, sharing the same cloud and receiving each other's iMessages.
    I know that I can create another Apple-ID, what I am unclear on is once I do have a new apple ID, how do I assign that to half the devices (1X iPhone 6+, 1 X MBP and 1 Ipad)
    Please respond if you are able to help.
    Thank you

    I'm not sure what they told your at the Apple store, but each Apple ID can only create a single iCloud account.  If you want separate accounts for all these devices, they will have to be created using separate IDs.  Note: you can do this and still share the same ID for other services such as your iTunes store account.  The iCloud ID does not need to be the same as the ID used for other services.
    To create an account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with a different Apple ID.  If you want to migrate a copy of the current iCloud data to the different accounts, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; the devices keeping the current account will not be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iDevice and choose Keep on My iDevice when prompted.  Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data.

  • ITunes and Apple IDs: Multiple family users

    Hello everyone,
    As many people do we started off our use of iTunes in a modest way: one couple, one computer, one ipod. Then the iTunes store came along and we continued with that setup. Then things gradually became more complicated to the point where we now have a family of users:
    User 1, Dad: Intel iMac, 3rd Gen iPod, iPhone 4s. Old Dotmac alias1
    User 2, Mum: Intel iMac (different one from Dad), iPod nano, iPhone 3Gs, iPad. Old Dotmac alias2
    User 3, Daughter: shares Intel iMac with Mum, iPod nano, iPad mini. Old Dotmac alias3
    So, these are all under my Apple ID. This worked okay until recently (with iCloud I think). Changes that were happening with other people's devices were getting synced onto my device without me knowing about it. One day I was sending work emails from my phone but everyone was seeing my wife's personal profile that she had updated. I fixed it, only to discover she was now sending emails as me. Also when I my wife purchased an app it started downloading onto my iphone. This isn't a massive problem really, and may even be fixable but I think things would be tidier if we all separated into three Apple IDs with user names from the Dotmac aliases we have been using for years.
    This bit is easy but then there is the tricky bit: We have a lot of content that we bought under our shared ID that needs farmed out. I don't much care for Rihanna or Glee but my daughter has bought a lot of that 'music' under my Apple ID and on my credit card. She is now old enough to have her own Apple ID and has her own bank card to purchase. It only makes sense to do this becuase she has to grow up some day! If we do this will she be able to access her previous purchases or will she then become locked out from them?
    Also, can my wife and I share an Apple ID and maintain our separate personal information? We like the transparency of sharing the account (and email address), but I don't want to have the "me" in the address book being my wife. Would we be better to create individual ID's?
    Thanks for the help.

    Thanks for the reply Roger,
    That seems silly that when a child grows up they either have to remain tied to dad's iTunes account or loose all their content. I for one wouldn't be too keen on having a separate Apple ID and iTunes account for a young child. I liked the protection level I was able to provide when necessary. Surely it ought to be possible for me to make a one-off permanent transfer of all her items from my AppleID to her new AppleID (I'll certainly not miss Lady Ga Ga). Surely Apple have heard of this core concept of a family: kids grow up.
    Regardless, I've now cracked it! Permission to use purchased items is based on the principle of authorising computers through an Apple ID. All our computers are authorised to access items on my Apple ID, and as it turns out I can additionally authorise the computer my daughter uses to access items purchased on her new Apple ID. All her items now synchronise to her iPad, and she can purchase independently from now on. The only drawback is that any computer she purchases in the future has to be authorised by my Apple ID as well as her own. This should always be possible if we stay on good terms .
    With regard to email. I've cracked that too. With Five products accessing the same email address the inconsistencies were killing us. Establishing identical mailbox behaviours and setting a shared identity name solved the syncrhonising war of her setting overriding mine, to then be overriden in turn. Compromise, as in many marriage issues, was the way to harmony .

  • Using the same library for multiple iTunes IDs

    My wife and I have the same exact library. When she buys something, my computer/ipod/devices are authorized to use it. We both got new laptops and we wanted to refrain from adding too much on them. I have an iMac with the music library on it. I signed up for iTunes match so that I could have my library on my devices and our Apple TV. So the question is, how can I get the same library on her devices, without uploading this library to her laptop?
    Can I simply log out of iTunes on the iMac and then log in as her and sign up for iTunes Match under her ID and go through the process again and all is done?
    We'd like to maintain the separate IDs as she purchases apps on her own and then has a lot of podcast subscriptions that I don't. But again, just trying to get the shared library to her device.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    No, there is no way to do this at this time, and if you make a mistake trying, you can screw yourself up and end up locking yourself out of Match.
    Apple makes a subtle and extremely annoying distinction between "authorization" and "association".  You need "authorization" to play content on a particular computer, and several users with different Apple IDs can authorize their content on a single computer.
    However, to do any of the following:
    -auto-download content
    -download previously purchased content
    -use Match!
    you must "associate" the computer to an Apple ID in addition to "authorizing" it. Only *a single AppleID* may be associated with a computer (not account, computer!) at a time, and this can only be changed once every 90 days. In other words, in this context, it treats the computer just like a mobile device. You can't run Match with more than one user, and Match also precludes anyone else from downloading previously purchased content.
    I recently learned about this the hard way when my son came home from college and used his Apple account to re-download a single TV show on my computer.  When I logged in later to try to use Match, a splash informed me I would have to wait *90 days* to switch back to my AppleID!  Luckily, I emailed the iTunes store and they were able to reset it.  I'm not sure if they have single incident forgiveness policy, if they were able to see exactly how much money I've put in their pockets over the  last couple years, or if they were simply smart enough to realize that *not* doing so could only lose them money in the future.
    Add to this the fact that you now "associate" (with a different definition) your AppleID with your *user account* to use cloud services, and you have three different and inconsistent ways your AppleID is used on a computer.
    Hopefully, Apple will clean all of this up at some point.
