IDs of the EBS Entities for ECM

The following documents were used to configure the client environment with integration, as could make the link between the ECM and EBS documents automatically.
However, now I know how precious is to generate scripts to perform new automatic links.
For this, I need to know which tables should extract the IDs of the entities EBS.

Install & configuring EBS Adapter for ECM

Hi All,
I am trying to setup IPM/ECm 11g and in the process i am configuring the EBS Adapter. Following the documentation step by step.
As per the document it says that EBS adapter is already installed for 11g and we just need to configure.
I have executed the steps to create AXF tables and compiling AXF_Custom.pll and changed custom.pll for zoom. During this process some of the steps involve inserting data to AFX_SOLUTIONS and AXF_SOLUTION_PARAMETERS tables. I could not find these tables in any of the scripts. I am not sure if i am missing anything.
I have also observed there no scripts for lot of tables listed in the Imaging solution tables doc.
Can anyone who has done this before help me if i am missing anything not in document.

Error in Configuring the EBS Adapter for WebCenter

Hi All,
when I'm configuring EBS Adapter for Web Center I'm getting the below Error while running the sql script AXF_EBS_SOLUTION_DATA.sql ,and I check the AXF_CONFIGS table is not available in db schema, not sure when this table will create. please find the error log detail below and give me some hint or link to overcome from this issue.

Hi Sanjeev,
You need to check if you have access to AXF_CONFIGS table. Check if you have ran GRANT_ACCESS.sql script which has below grant commands.
grant execute any type to apps;
grant create type to AXF;
grant select on AXF.AXF_CONFIGS to apps;
v_formId AXF_CONFIGS.FORMID%TYPE; means tableName.columnName%type;
so looks like when you are running AXF_EBS_SOLUTION_DATA.sql you are not able to access AXF_CONFIGS table.

Hi,
I'm afraid in standard SAP do not have such report.
As a workaround you could try the following: The correction would consist of the following steps:
1) remove the link between the budget and the IT0759 in the IMG step "Assign Compensation Review Item Attributes"
Here you will need to remove the "Budget Type"
2) Then you should delete the IT0759 records for which the budget was not updated (revert the process completely, this means that if the status of IT0759 is "active" you will need to check IT0008 also)
3) next step will be to reset the link removed in step 1) betweenthe budget and the IT0759
4) create new IT0759 records as initially intended
Please note that you should try this in a test or development system first and check if everything worked well before using it in the production system.

(which i don't have for sure because im not a company), and Is there is a way to get a meta link support Account without being a company ?? or how much it cost if i want to buy it ...
anyway im welling to install it in this Software & hardware requirements :
Win server 2003 ??( does it need perl installed to Apply some perl scripts ?)
intel core2due 2.0 X 2 with 1.5 GB ram , HD as they wrote from 76GB - 161 GB ( please aproximate the size it needed for this installation due to lack of space )

FEBAN automatically closed the Open item for Debtor

Open items in our company usually closed manually. But this time FEBAN closed an open item (Debtor). Where can i change the configuration for not automatically closing the open item by EBS. Any help? Points will be awarded.

Help on EBS software for firewalled scenario

Hi,
We have the configuration of a three-tier application on sun v890 servers and each tier sits behind a firewall. i.e. database and application have a firewall in between, web server to application has a firewall and so on.
while configuring backups for the databases we need to know the exact port number that is being used by the EBS backup software for taking the backups or possibility of configuring the minimum number of ports through which the backup can be taken for each server.
Could anybody give a clue to this scenario?

As per the sub-section "configuring firewall support" within "server management"
following can be the port allocations for opening the firewall for the service connections:
1) for the backup server
5+2n
n is number of devices registered on the EBS server
for the current configuration having a single LTO3 tape drive device ,
above count comes to 7
starting from 7937+7=7944
2) for every client i.e. every server 2 port 7937 and 7938
3) there is no separate storage node as the backup server is having the server software as well as the direct connection to the tape library.

EBS Extension For Endeca Version 4

HI , I had installed the EBS Extension for Endeca by following the procedure as per the Document : Installing Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca, Release 12.1.3.4 (Doc ID 1562372.1)
The Database installation step completes Successfully and Validated too.
on the Step where i had ran the script envSetup.sh 5 times. on the phase where i had configure the EID and ETL for the EBS extension, But the Validation steps are failing.
I can see the Contents but without any Data in it. Control panel Tab of Studio do have the Data source Tab, but no data sources are appearing and no Create Data Source tab. Also in the My Account tab there are functionality like Password or Manage pages are not appearing. Application Settings says choose data source, but no data sources are appeared.
Thing is my Clover ETL Server is Working fine. Full Load Graphs are running Successfully. But Still there is no luck in the Oracle Endeca Studio. As per the Document the I had followed all the Steps perfectly.
Can Anyone please suggest me what is the Error ?? And What should I do to Resolve it ??

Is there anyone who has already got this certification and can indicate me the best material to prepare myself?
I've worked on Oracle EBS (R11) for more than nineteen months up to now, focusing on the purchasing area, but I don't think that that could be sufficient to pass the required exams...

I want to install EBS extension for Oracle Endeca 12.1.3.4.
Where can I find the quick install package in the edelivery.oracle.com site? Which Product Pack should I select in the site?

If you're getting a "This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7" message, than you have the updater and not the full installer. Go to your Purchases section of the Mac App Store and you should see the full version there. But it may be 10.7.5, though in my system is shows as being from 2011 which would appear to be the original version.
As to Mountain Lion, that's supported only on the Early 2008 Mac Pro or newer.

If we have 3 iPhones, and use the same iTunes for all content, should we use 3 Apple IDs and authorize for all 3 or just use 1 ID?

I want to enable us to share all apps, music, videos and photos, but enable each phone to keep its contacts and history separate. If I use 1 ID, all new purchases will go on the same credit card, which I'm not sure is ideal, but not horrible. Since we use the same computer and iTunes using only 1 appleID, and the phones are new to the equation since it was only iPods before, what is the best way to handle a family with 3 phones that can share all entertainment content, but not all phone-related stuff? I saw that you can use one AppleID for purchases, but another for iCloud. That may be the best solution, but I don't know enough about this yet to move forward yet- migrating from Android...

My iPhone won't arrive for a little while, but my wife already got hers and she wants to set it up now. Using my Apple ID for the purchases, if she starts setting hers up, can she change her iCloud ID to something else quickly? It keeps telling us that we have to sign in with the AppleID first.
Should we just set up an iCloud account via normal internet before trying all this via iPhone?

I have inadvertently created two different Apple IDs throughout the years but now need my most recent one to use my email, but still want access to my old apple ID (if I can find it). The old apple ID has priority (the new one is not allowed to verify my email as it is linked to my old ID) with that email - can someone help me have the two IDs linked to the same email?

I want to create a new itunes account for myself and leave the current one for my wife. Is that possible?

Ok. My wife uses itunes for her work and she has asked me to open my own account without erasing the one we currently have so that our music can be seperate. I have my own pc and sync to my own itunes program but our purchases still download to the same account and the money comes from the same account. Can I open a new account and not lose everything? I hope this isn't too wordy but I want to be as clear and explicit as I can for you.
You can't transfer purchases from one account to another account. Apple doesn't allow it.
You can continue to use your daughter's Apple ID in order to continue to use the apps that you purchased with her ID and you will need to use her ID and password any time that you want to update those apps. What you do want to avoid is having to download any of those purchased apps again on any other devices - if you create a new Apple ID.
If you create a new ID and then you sign into her ID in order to download a previous purchase- you will lock yourself out of the new ID for 90 days and there is nothing that you can do about it. So as long as you do NOT download any past purchases with her ID - you will not lock yourself out of the new ID. So you can keep using the apps that were bought with her ID, you can also update those apps using her ID (you have to sign into her account in Settings>Store) but you can't download past purchases without messing things up with your new ID.
When you download a past purchase with a different ID - you associate that device with the different ID for 90 days. This is one way that Apple hopes to cut down on pirating of apps - friends using other friends IDs in order to download apps without patting for them.

The bottom line is that you can create a new ID, still use her ID - judiciously - but you really want to avoid downloading past purchases with her ID. Transfer all of those purchases into iTunes so that if something happens and you need the purchased content again, you can just sync it again rather than downloading it.
