IDVD '08 Crashing

Question

Hi all,
My iDVD seams to not want me to use it. every time i try to open a previously made project it wont open it and just stands there, open but with no window, and when i try to do anything it freezes. this also happens when i try to make a new project, i click new, no window opens and when i try to do something it freezes and need to forced to quit.
when i go to make a magic idvd, i am able to go to the window where i put all the media and choose a theme but if i click preview or create project, idvd quits unexpectedly.
I have tried to reinstall idvd, deleted the .plist file and repaired disk permissions. is there anything i can do to make a dvd?

umm, I hope this is what your after.... Im not too sure how it all works. i found this stuff in the system.log section.
