IDVD 08 replays immediately after the film ends

I've just burned a 1 hour film with iDVD 08, with the normal Intro menu, and everything works well.
The problem I have is that when the film ends, it starts playing again by itself instead of returning automatically to the Intro menu that should loop until the Play button is selected anew.
What I have here is that it is the film itself that is looping !
Is there a way to deselect this "looping" setting of the film itself ?
Is there such a setting, or is it a bug in this 06 theme that I used in iDVD 08 ?

In general payment media programs are executed immediately after the payment run.
You can execute payment media programs using transaction code SA38 or you can enter appropriate variants for payment media programs in printout/date medium tab while executing payment run in F110 so that they are run automatically along with payment run.

Help!! How do you retrieve photos from Lightroom after the trial ends??

Hi, I was trialing the latest version of Lightroom and the trial period expired.. I have never used Adobe products before and I didn't realise I wouldn't be able to retrieve the photos after the trial ended! The photos are needed for an assignment for Uni that is due tomorrow!!
Is there ANY way to get the photos back??? Thank you!

As Dorin says, your pictures are still there. Lightroom never modifies your images, so they're still there in whatever format you imported them. If you don't have use of Lightroom, you don't have access to the changes you've made to your images in Lightroom unless, while you still have use of Lightroom:
You export the images (to TIF or JPEG)
In Edit menu, catalog settings, metadata tab, you check "Automatically write changes into XMP", in which case the changes are written into the XMP sidecar files, which can be read by ACR in Photoshop (or Elements, I think).
To get yourself out of a fix, as c.frans says, download the LR4.1 RC2 version. This requires no serial number but it will time out in June, I think so remember to do one of the two options I mentioned above before then.

Restrict the creation of documents in the cfolders after the Bid End Date

The System allows the bidders to create documents in cfolders even after the Bid Submission deadline has reached, whereas the Quotation would not be submitted as the Bid Submission date is in the past. Is there any way to restrict the creation of documents in the cfolders after the Bid Submission End Date?

Hi Mary,
In the competitive scenario in the first screen itself there are fields for "Due date" and "Due time". Once these entries are maintained, that particular collaboration will get freezed then and no documents or bids can be submitted post that time.

Linksys WRT1900AC dead after the week-end

Hello Folks,
Strange problem with my WRT1900AC. I've upgraded it to firmware 1.8 last friday. Everything was running fine and smoothly. Since I was away this week-end, I shut down the router friday night.
Restarted it this monday morning, Power light came back on and Internet light also (fix solid white). But that's it. Wi-Fi LEDS remained off. Routeur GUI is not accessible through the smartwifi portal... I tried to plug the routeur on another DSL access only to have the same issue.
Tried a reset with no luck. Seems like the router is bricked. Any help would be greatly appreciated !

And you don't have to use Smart WiFi to set up the router. You can use the Local Log-In feature on the routers web page to set up the router. I recommend setting up the router for Smart WiFi after the router has been re-flashed and reconfigured locally.

Well everything works fine, except that the JTextfield doesnt go away after the user clicked on another cell. How can I return to show the cell instead of the JTextfield used for editing?

Lync phone edition does not try to sign in after the front end server restarts

A restart of the frontend server. None of our Lync Phone Edition CX600 and CX3000 phones will sign back in. If you hit the cancel button and click it will work. This was fixed in a previous CU update but seems to be back again. CX version 4.0.7577.4451.
Any ideas to try. Cant always restart our switches.

The Update resolves the issue: Lync Phone Edition cannot automatically sign in when the primary front-end server that you register is shut down.
If the issue persists, please also try to reset the IP phone and test again.

An incoming call from VoIP. The SPA122 generate Dial Tone after the far end hung up rather busy tone.

I have a problem with the SPA122 telephony adapter, uncorrectly process the subscriber signaling at the end of the call.
1) Outbound call from FXS port SPA122 . When a remote caller hangs up first , the subscriber SPA122 Reorder Tone played with a delay specified in the Reorder Delay. This circuit is working properly.
2 ) Incoming call from VoIP to the SPA122. When a remote caller hangs up first , subscriber on the FXS port of the SPA122 hears silence ~ 3-4 seconds , then SPA122 plays Dial Tone, as if he had just picked up the phone and he 's going to call . No signal lights out (Busy Tone or Reorder Tone) will not play .

[2] is misconfiguration on your's side. You have CPC turned on, but no CPC capable device. Set CPC Duration to zero to turn off CPC.

In safe mode , no change in useability "watch PBS videos". Checked Theme/Appearance and selected Default 8.0 theme . This Add-on shows -Compatibility problems and the selection for "more" takes me a screen that has no options to change , upgrade ,repair. What would be the correct Default 8.0 Add-on for use on Win7 /64bit ?

I don't know if its just me , but spent huge amount of time looking , filterering through sites trying gain understanding and corrective tools . The "check for updates" feature obviously is not working properly, I can't seem to find anything defined for Firefox 8.0! The Add-on page for Mozilla/ Firefox lists a bunch of "toys". There should a "serious section" to that site dedicated for system required plug-ins and add-on and upgrades . I'm like clicks away from Chrome , and I hate that action of frustrated disparity!!

After the battery ends, the database of iphot who is in a external HD, is corrupt

I have 147 Gb in the iphoto library, and it's in a externasl Hard Disk. Today, the battery is finished and now the database is corrupted.I can't open the actual iphotolibrary. The solutions of iphoto (open with alt+command) and select all the options, don't repair may iphoto.
What can i do?

Give this a try:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.>Click on the Add Library button,
2 - select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
3 - make sure that in the rebuild window the checkbox "Scavange orphaned photos" is checked.
4 - now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
5 - in the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed. Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Flash plugin on windows 7 teardown the TCP session immediately after successful SSL handshake

I have a RHEL platform in which tomcat is listening on 443 port.
Scope of Problem:
With the latest flash plugin, i am experiencing issue with Firefox on SSL port on Windows platform.
i.e.
Everythig works fine on non-SSL mode on Firefox, Chrome, IE on Windows 7.
Everythig works fine on SSL mode on Chrome, IE on Windows 7.
Analysis from Wireshark Captures:
I could see successful SSL handshake between firefox and my tomcat server.
Immediately after the handshake, the client teared down the session by sending a FIN/ACK packet.
Workaround:
Install older version of the flash plugin on Firefox.
Is there a non issue in SSL mode which is causing this issue?

We observed this problem on Flash 13.0.0.182 build.
To debug this issue, we tried using the Flash debug image (13.0.0.182) and observed that the functionality is working.
In the Flash debug image, Firefox started showing us a popup indicating untrusted certificate "This page requires a secure connection which includes server authentication. The Certificate Issuer for this site is untrusted or unknown. Do you wish to proceed ? "
If we click "yes", then the complete functionality works fine.
Any clues/pointers, why the above popup is not coming in non-debug Flash image?

I've had a similar problem since upgrading to Firefox 22 on Windows 7 x64. After resuming from hibernation, Firefox appears unresponsive; however, I believe it is a problem with redrawing the window. If I click to a different tab, nothing happens, but if I minimize Firefox and restore it, it now shows the new tab I switched to. If I have a video open and I click play, there is no visual change, but I hear the sound start. The normal functionality is resumed when closing Firefox and re-opening it.

Mac Pro switches itself off immediately after power button is pressed on

Hi there,
I would like to share with you an ongoing problem of my Mac Pro (about on and off 11 month I think). Since its HD changed at the beginning of this year I've been having the problem of "switching itself off immediately after the power button is pressed on." I took it to Milton Keynes Apple Shop and apparently they couldn't replicate the problem I received it after they reset it's PRAM. Meanwhile I read the related posts and discussions about the problem and my assumption was as suggested in the scenarios of similar cause – Power Supply unit. I had a technical chat with ex-Solutions staff from Brighton, he also said it might have been caused by it.
I really don't know what to do because, sometimes attempting 10 or over times of pressing the button I hear the chime and literally 10 or 20 seconds later it switches itself off. And it happened this Sunday morning again, 8 times I've encountered the failure. And the most confusing thing is sometimes I leave it about an hour or two and then it just works and runs fine as it has never have happened.
By the way I left my computer on for a very long time I suspect maybe more than a month it was on sleep most of time when i am not using it. But yesterday I made the mistake of logging off and shutting it down. Now I can't turn my computer on. Highly frustrating and amazingly bizarre technical challenge.
Mind you I am fairly capable of carrying DIY operations on it. Previously I baked my graphics card as suggested in the forum – it works fine at the moment I am waiting until it completely brakes. But this power problem really really puzzles me.
Any opinions, how to solve this cause is highly appreciated.

The SMC especially on the very first 2-3 months of Early 2008.
Use to suffer from a "restart on wake from sleep" issue.
Some one told me that is not what "inrush current issue" is but that is what I (and couple others) called it.
Best to always have a workstation on 1500VA UPS.
Not share the outlet or cirucit even with anything major.
Yes it could I guess, poor phrase, but put more stress on PSU over time as a result also.
Methods to reset SMC have varied and changed over time. Thanks to web not all the revisions and older versions are kept online though to compare to.
Stories of people going on vacation etc for two weeks to come back to a "dead" Mac Pro started showing up in 2007.
If it had an actual SMC button, use that to reset.
If not, leaving it totally disconnected, and all external cables and such over-night, not for the mere 5-10 minutes.
Unplug but then press and hold power button for 8-10 seconds. And only once. And not to be done repeatedly. That was SMC Reset #3.
I know the 2007 8-core 3GHz had a different PSU than the smaller models.
2008 high end was 8-core 3.2GHz 5400 (stock was 2.8GHz 4 or 8-core)
FBDIMMs draw between 10W up to 15W each, so possible to have 8 DIMMs drawing 120W when maxed out. And heat. I always recommend Mac Pro use fan control to boost the fans a small 400 rpm to expel heat better and keep FBDIMM temps down. Heat, and temperature fluxuations stress and weaken components.
Other than AHT and the tools that a Apple Certified center should have, not much other than to swap out parts, monitor - iStatPro or Hardware Monitor -
And because of all this, I would setup a test system so you have a freshly formatted and installed OS and take it from there, with a better chance.
