IDVD 4 not lauching Please help
Hello.
I need to get some DVD's burned today and IDVD 4 will not launch. When I click to open it, I just get the rainbow wheel of death, it never opens. Even after shutting down and waiting through last night. Can anyone please help me to get this open.

I have recently acquired iLife 05 and have created a small new movie
I presume you used iMovie HD.
It would be helpful if you were to go to preferences and insert details of your system as it is easier to help.
What system do you have? In particular does your DVD drive have write facilities for DVDs.
If you cannot write to DVDs then iLife might not install iDVD. If you pull down the Apple Menu (top left) and click on about this Mac and then within the box which appears ask for more info. This will show details of all your hardware and one option will allow you to see what applications are installed and which version.

I have a dome iMac G4 running OS10.4.11 system with iLife08 loaded. iDVD shows as an application in my application folder; however, when attempting to use it it does not respond. The Icon shows in the doc and the IDvd bars are present but nothing else. When going to "Force Quit" it states that iDVD is not responding. I have used the iLife Disc and went to the customed installation and the iDVD is grayed out as is iPhoto and Garage Band. The iPhoto and Garage Band work well.
Where do I go from here. I have never used the iDVD part of iLife before.

I solved my problem. I have iLife '08 installed in my iMac. I updated iTunes to version 9. Evidently a conflict occurred between iDVD '08 and iTunes 9. I found out that iDvd had an upgrade that made it more compatible. After upgrading in software update my problem was solve.

I have 4s iPhone , I download the iOS 7. Now the front receiver microphone is not working , please help me that how to fix the problem.
I live in South Africa, and I had the same problem with my iPhone 4.
After weeks of frustration and swearing, I was in the process of restoring my phone to a previous iOS. To do that you need to turn the "Find my iPhone" option off, since i turned it off, my problem was solved. No need to repair anything or revert back to old iOS.

If you are running Lion or Mountain Lion, the drivers are downloaded from within Bootcamp Assistant. If you are running Snow Leopard the drivers are on your Snow Leopard install disk.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

That is almost always because the phone was hacked to illegally unlock it. Contact the carrier it's locked to and ask about having it legitimately unlocked. If they will not do so, you will not be able to activate that phone.

I would imagine your iPhone was hacked to make it work on your local carrier.
Updating the iOs to 5.xx will lock it back to the original carrier .The carrier holding the lock are the only
entity able to authorise the unlock .You will have to contact them and see if they unlock and the terms the apply -
