IDVD 6 don't like my G4?

Question

Here is what is going on. I have a movie that I enported to iMove to make bookmarks for. Then I enported that to iDVD then chose my theme to use. So far everything works fine. Then I put in my Pics then I put in my background sound and rework the opening title everything up this point works. Now when I try to click on a meun item to try to edit it, all it does is act as if I'm clicking on the Tilte text box. I have all the lastes updates and all that. I have tryed trushing all of iDVD's prif files. But here is what gets me is this. I can copy all the files over to my dad's G5 iMac 20" pre iSite and it works just fine. If you can help out here you will be a god of the mac in my eyes.

Could just be a slower G4 response and mouse click settings. Check the double click speed settings on the dual G4.
Try this and "wait" a few seconds after each mouse clik to give the older G4 a chance to catch up.
For iDVD6 to edit buttons:
A single click on the button will highlight the button. Then click on the "button menu" tab on the lower right to select new button types.
To edit the text on the button: First highlight the button (if it's not already highlighted). Wait a fews secs. Then use another single click on the text. This should highlight the text itself, and you can then edit that.
Double-clicking a button puts you in preview mode.....
