IDVD (iLife 9) still has the same anoying bugs
I just got iDVD from iLife 9 and am annoyed to find the much reported bugs of 08 mostly unfixed. It still messes up scene selection menus if you update the video assets and respond to the alert "reencode video assets" - basically one has to start over and reimport the movie. Also it still doesn't properly interpret a 16:9 anamorphic video file unless one first manually updates video attributes using QT7 or similar. Very disappointing!

It started when my ipod suddenly stopped playing music. After I contacted support and tried just about every way to get my ipod fixed, I was eventually set up to have it shipped to apple for repairs. After two days, my ipod has returned with papers saying that the technicians at apple were unable to find anything wrong with it. The only problem is that it is still behaving the same way as it was before I sent it off, even though nothing was found to be wrong. My music still does not play and my apps will not sync. I decided to give a restore in recovery mode another shot, just to see if it would work, but the restore still only goes so far before the bar completely stops moving. Now, my ipod won't restore or come out of recovery mode, and I'm getting desperate. I thought having it sent off would fix all my problems, but nothing has changed. Please, can anyone help me? I don't know what to do anymore...

I was prompted to update itunes this evening. I did and in the process, it came up with the following error message: Service "apple mobile device" (apple mobile device) failed to start. Verify you have sufficient priviledges to start system services. I unistalled itunes completly and reinstalled but am still getting the same error message. If I click "ignore" the program will finish downloading but will not launch due to "not being installed correctly". Please help, I use this program alot with my first grade classroom and they're expecting their listening center in the morning.
Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7 x64 for windows 7
After uninstalling all apple products even quicktime
I had to delete everything from (program files, and program files x64, program data,)
And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted other stuff from apple, and itunes
But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start when done)
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version anyways.
Easier to download and transfer music!!!!! -
Ipod shows there is no music or video, but still has the same memory.
so basically, last night I hooked up my iPod and synced it to upload this new podcast I had. once it did, I turned off my computer and went to bed. When I got to bed, I went to listen to that podcast, and it wasn't there..nothing was there. I went to the about and it said "Music: 0 Video:0 Photos:2752" But then I looked at my available memory, and it said, "Capacity:74.3GB Available:23.4GB"
So I believe that all my music and videos are still inside my iPod, but my iPod isn't reading it..
Can anyone please help me? I really do not want to lose my whole libary..it isn't on my iTunes anymore..*...it isn't on my iTunes anymore...*
Why not? You erased the iPod's backup!
Well, try this reset procedure...
1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. +You may need to repeat this step.+
If the above steps did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Allow at least a two-hour charge and repeat the above steps. -
every time i open firefox black bars cover the browser or when i am typing. it only happens on the firefox browser.

What should I do?
Try clearing its cache (Settings > Safari > Clear Cache and also Clear History), and also try closing the app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Iv downloaded the 0845 wizard from the App Store. Registered my details and it has been working. But for some reason it won't let me log in and keep saying failed every time I try to use it. Iv deleted and re-downloaded the app and it still says the same?
I would say to start by looking on their web site... unfortunately, that appears to be dead.
Based on the horrible ratings on the App Store (1 star for the current version), I'm not surprised it doesn't work well. -

I am receiving a message that my ID has been disabled, and I followed the steps to change the password, but still receive the same message. Cannot access app store or do updates.
In what way are you receiving this message? It is very common to get an email telling you that your ID has been disabled, and asking you to confirm all your details so the sender can steal your identity online.....
