Idvd - left theme window (preview) is blank - everything else seems ok

I can create a new file and as soon as I select a theme from the right palette, the left window appears BLANK. I can load photos and music if I choose add slideshow, but they won't view if I try to preview DVD. (The music plays however and the controller works as well).
Trying to double click the flowchart icons appears to open them, but they will not display.....!
I have seen this problem in other threads, but ANY ANSWERS yet?
PS I have used idvd 6 successfully so I am not stoopid.

Both devices are on Verizons 4G LTE network. Both devices do have some of the same APPS installed. Can this be a case of him connecting to a rogue wifi network of a hacker that may have installed malicious code on his devices when he connected? That would explain why only his devices have the same exact issue only at BWI airport.

Something similar I've experienced. I was once having to use a AT&T hotspot and the iPad simply refused to access my mail via the mail app. But if I used safari I could get it. So the internet was working, but my supposition is that something with the hotspot's firewall messes with mail exchange.
next time your boss is at BWI, do you guys have a web interface? (for example if I wanted to access my work mail I could get them to set it up via the mail app and exchange, or I could go to a certain web address and access my mail that way via safari)
He could try using safari and the web interface if you have it.
If it's something in the hotspot's firewall I doubt it's anything that can be changed.

I wiped off as much as I could with a cloth and left it open and upside down for 10-15 minutes. Any idea if I am in the clear?

I cannot sync calendars from the iphone to the ipad but works the other way aroung. Also music not syncing. Everything else seems to sync fine

I am unable to sync my calendars from the iphone 4S to the ipad but the calendars do sync from the ipad to the phone. Music also does not sync either way. Everything else seems to be OK. Anyone have this problem?

Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that calendar syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the calendars you are using are in your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by clicking/tapping the calendar button in the top left corner of the application ), non iCloud calendars will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your calendars are in the iCloud account, you might try unchecking calendar syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling calendar syncing settings.
With regard to your music, what exactly are you expecting to happen.

Your keyboard will never be right again; it needs to be replaced. There's no effective way to clean sticky stuff out of it. Your Bluetooth module may have been shorted out and destroyed, and it probably isn't dry yet after only 24 hours.
Take your machine in for repair, and expect a hefty bill in the hundreds of dollars.

I have Windows 7 and just recently experienced a problem with itunes freezing up when I clicked on the "apps" tab. Everything else seems to work okay in itunes. I have uninstalled it and reloaded it 4 or 5 times, but still freezes up.

Everything else in the itunes software seems to be working okay. The problem is in the part where you sync the newly purchased apps. The apps will all be blank that are downloaded and that part of the software crashes itunes or freezes up. I can get out of itunes okay after the freeze up, but it just stops me from syncing anything that I have newly added. If anyone has had this problem before or knows someone that has, please let me know how I can fix it. I have uninstalled and reloaded itunes 4 or 5 times, but the problem is still there. I might add that I have been using itunes and purchasing apps for 2 to 3 years without any problems. HELP.

Windows 7 Taskbar crashes - everything else ok??

I have a Ideacenter K300 running Win7 home premium 64bit
Recently it developed an issue where the taskbar on the bottom of the screen crashes [ie is no longer visible] but everything else is still running fine. The Start icon is still there and working and all the desktop icons are fine too.
It just seems to go away randomly. Does not seem to correspond to anyl specific action. I'll just notice it is gone!
Tried backing up to the last restore point but that did not help.
Can it be restarted without rebooting? Rebooting brings it back, for awhile, then it is gone again ...
Anyone else have this issue?

Did you check the autohide option in the task bar properties?was it enabled?
Also run the sfc /scannow command in DOS as the administrator

Safari is locked. Everything else seems to be working fine

I am trying to use Safari on my IPad and it is locked. Everything else in the Ipad works. I think it because I tried to download some software.

First close Safari in the multitask window, double click the home key and when the window opens hold your finger on the Safari icon until it starts to wiggle and the red minus sign is in the left corner, touch the minus sign to close the program, then open your settings and click on Safari then click on clear history, then restart your iPad by holding down the on/off and home buttons at the same time until your see the Apple logo.

I have an Imac. When I click to open google maps a permeable but dark screen covers my monitor screen and I get a note that tells me to shut down the computer and restart it. This hasn't helped. Everything else seems to work fine.

When I attempt to open google maps in Firefox on my Imac, a dark screens descends over my monitor screen and a note tells me there's been an error, no number is noted, and that I need to turn off and restart my computer. This doesn't help, but everything else works, including google maps in other browsers.

This is a kernel panic.
First verify that Firefox is fully updated including all extensions.
If this fails to fix....
Restart in Safe Boot mode then open Firefox.
* shutdown
* start the Mac and *wait* for the startup chime to sound
* after the sound, press and hold down the shift key
* keep holding and *wait* until the grey  Apple logo appears
* now release the shift key and just wait (it could take a few minutes)
* eventually the login screen appears with the words SAFE BOOT
* login and open Firefox.

FF4 loads pdf ok but won't print them (print preview is blank) I have reverted to FF3.6.13 for now. Reinstall FF4 and try again?

I have only just discovered this problem in FF4, but it used to work ok with version 3 and earlier. For example, if I download or select a pdf file from a website it displays ok. However I cannot print it. Print preview in the "file" pull down shows a blank page. IE, Safari, Chrome Opera all work ok as expected (we have been designing a website hence all the other browsers but FF is our default) I have switched Kaspersky on and off to no avail, Windows Firewall is off

I have just gone back and forth a couple of times between FF4 and FF3 and I have found that it's the printer icon on the address bar that doesn't work in FF4. The icon prints pdfs ok in FF3. I have since discovered the transparent control bar that fades in and out near the bottom of the page. I had never seen this before. You have to get lucky to find it I guess. Right click menu and Control P works in both versions too I now discover, but I didn't know about those either because the now defunct printer icon was the obvious route to me!

New windows always appear behind everything else

If I click a 'new message in mail' or anything similar in Leopard that creates a new window, it always puts it behind everything. Is there any way to fix this bug?

Master items always appear at the bottom of the stack.
Create a new layer and put the page numbers there.

Is anyone else having a problem using "search" in the store. Everything else seems find but selected search results produce a blank screen.

Every time I try to use 'search' in iTunes, it will bring up available related results, but when you click one the results screen is blank. Plus I'm continuing to notice since downloading iOS 6 this phone seems a little glitchey and slow at times

Same here. Searching iTunes Store and touching a result often results in blank screen. Hopeless isn't it. Can't select and download a film because of it. Stuff in the featured/category/chart sections selects ok, it's just searched items for me. Surely others have noticed same with ios6. This only happens on my iPhone 4. On iPad 3 search is fine but I think it's different because iPad 3 tends to bring a kind of pop out window when selecting.
