Idvd with itunes HELP

I have made a dvd before with music that i have downloaded from itunes and everything went fine.
i made another dvd a few weeks ago and it says that the itunes music is not authorized to play. Then it tells me to authorize it and it still will not work after that. very frustrated.

ok so i tried that and it was a success so i was all excited!
when i went to burn the dvd the songs were still not on it, because it needed the cd that i burned the songs on to work with the dvd. i thought since i imported the songs into idvd that they would just stay in there without the disc.
any more thoughts?

i was able to connect and synced songs yesterday.
but when i tried it again today. i cant connect again.
i tried to disconnect and reconnect million times and i even dropped
my iPOD and now it has some scratch and i hate it.

Ipod Touch 4g will no longer sync with iTunes - help!!!

I have an iPod Touch 4 and am using the latest version of iTunes 11.0.2.26 but can no longer get my ipod to sync with itunes. When I click on Sync I get the message 'waiting for changes to be applied' then 'finished' but it does not sync. I have completely restored my ipod and have uninstalled iTunes, Apple Update, Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support before reinstalling iTunes. All my music in iTunes is from my own library rather than purchased from iTunes. It all used to work fine and I feel I've exhausted all my knowledge in fixing this and need some assistance. Can anyone help?

Seems like you've tried the most important steps in troubleshooting, so that's good.
What I'm wondering is: when you deinstalled iTunes and all those other things, did you do it in a specific order, according to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 for windows Vista/windows 7 or http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925 for windows XP ? I don't see Apple Application Support in the list of components you deleted. I would recommend removing everything again in the specific order using the article you need and trying again to sync.
Also: try creating another user account on your computer and syncing again, because sometimes software issues are user-wide.

Can you tell us more about your issue?
Are you using a mac or pc? Do you know if your computer has usb 2.0 ? or better?
Do you have itunes installed on the computer? Have you checked to make sure itunes is up to date? Dose your computer recongise the iPod Touch when you connec it to the computer? if so, what happens when you connect it?
I'm trying to figure out where your having trouble with syncing.

my daughter has a brand new ipod touch - latest one - she started to input a passcode then didn't finish the process then turned off ipod. she turned it back on and it is asking for a passcode - she doesn't remember what she typed. Help with itunes Help

I am using windows 7 and have downlaoded itunes 10.5 and when i select the itunes help I get this message in a new window (Not Found..The requsted URL/itunes/win/10.5 was not on this server)..Where did the help go?

I also have Windows 7 and after downloading the latest itunes cannot access the itunes help although I can view the tutorials etc. I am also getting the same message regarding the server. Cannot find any other link to this problem in the support community.

Ipod nano not synching with itunes: HELP!!

I just purchased an ipod nano and tried to synch with the latest version of itunes. I'm unable to synch and get an error -53. Does anyone know of this error? I tried calling support and was on the phone for over 3 hours and was unable to receive any help from them.

The error messeges that I get when trying to update my ipod to 1.1.3 from 1.1.2 is 1417. The error when I try to synch or restore is -53. Does anyone know what they mean? I just purchased an Intek21 high speed USB card. I also get an error on the diagnostic regarding no IEEE 1394 host controller. I'm not using a firewire though, it's a USB connection.

You're welcome. To sync multiple folders of photos to your phone you need to enable syncing of selected folders on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, enabling you to check more than one folder at a time. If you are running Windows, for example, you may have all your photo folders in the My Pictures folder on your computer. In this example, you would choose Sync Photos from My Pictures, then choose Selected folders, then check all the folders containing the photos you want on your phone. This would be similar to the image below:
As mentioned earlier, the combined photos from all the folders will appear on your phone in the photo library album and each of the individual folders will appear as separate albums, but will only contain links to the photos in photo library, not duplicate photos.

New to a Mac in general and having multiple issues with iTunes - Help?

So I bought my first mac for design/marketing uses (flyers, video etc) and figured I'd consolidate my wife and I's iTunes stuff to it as well...So far most things are done but I have a few snags.
In moving everything over I knew I would end up with a lot of duplicates, we both had a lot of the same music via the CD's we own. The process I did was I connected the external drives from my machine and my wifes machine to the Mac which already had an external blank 200GB drive connected to it and iTunes was setup to use that drive as the music folder location. I then added all the music from the external drives from my machine and wifes machine to iTunes one at a time. I then imported the library playlists etc and changed the path in the files from "M:\itunes music\" to "file://localhost/music" ... This worked, all playlists are back and work.
For handling duplicates on my windows machines in the past I would sort to show duplicates then would go through selecting all duplicates (using ctrl key to select a lot at a time) then delete those in iTunes, it would ask to delete the file and I always had it delete the files because the files themselves were always duplicated (those file being songname1.mp3, songname2.mp3 etc). This worked for the windows machines...not so much for the mac. Apparently the mac didn't duplicate all actual files and instead created duplicate entries based on the same file in a lot of cases.
Snags:
It looks like the duplicates the mac is showing sometimes are showing multiple entries in iTunes for the same physical file, so If I delete the file, I'm deleting the only copy of the song. Sometimes though there are songname1.mp3, songname2.mp3 etc...This makes it extremely difficult to kill out the duplicates because now I have to look to see what file every duplicate is looking at before deciding to delete file or not...I would be sitting here for weeks on end to do that! I need a better solution.
Second snag that I think is related to the first. My iTunes library is showing 213GB's worth of music being stored on the 200GB drive. I think this is due to the duplicate entries using the same file...The library should be more around 140GB's. I just want to confirm this is indeed the issue or know if there is another place a mac would try to store itunes music if the music folder fills up?

Click the Apple  top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Software Update.
That will update your Mac to OS X 10.9.4
Restart your Mac after the update is installed then try Mail.
Very important to keep your system software up to date for security.

Serious problems with iTunes HELP

Hello,
I updated my iTunes yesterday and my music library disappeared completely. I tried to use the back up of the library made previously and it didnt work. I then added my whole music folder to iTunes successfully except that there was around 30 of each playlist (90s music etc). This caused iTunes to run very slowly and as they wouldnt delete i had to go through and delete my library very slowly as to not make iTunes crash. I then sucessfully uninstalled iTunes and got rid of all the library back ups which may have been the cause of the mutliple playlist.
On re instalatiuon of iTunes the multiple playlists had gone and the scroll bars had gone black. I added my My Music folder and to my horror the music didnt play anymore. I have been through all the help sections for this problem and nothing seems to work. iTunes at the moment is very unstable and crashes very often. Could this be a quicktime problem? I would very much appreciate some help.

You can't.
Obviously the same mechanism is used as in Mail. I can't put more than about 25 conditions in the rules for Junk mail. It's the same problem. There is no scroll function unfortunately.
The workaround in iTunes is to make several smart playlists (someone called them building blocks) and combine them in another smart playlist.

Ok, when I pull up Itunes, and I`m on the internet, Under Purchased, it has ahmir thompson`s Music, and I don`t know where it came from, thats not even my name, can someone tell me whats happening? help!

Calm down, it's the iTunes sharing feature.
Are you in a dorm, perhaps? That would mean you are all on the same IP subnet, and can share iTunes.
If you don't like it, turn it off in Edit > Preferences.
But...ask yourself... does ahmir thompson have any good music?
It's not necessarily a BAD thing.
And you can share yours, too. (unprotected-only files)

Yes, but make sure you buy a model with enough storage space. 8G units fill up fast.
