IDVD working till I installed 2TB ED. Keep getting message"There was an internal iDVD error during the last action. This is not a movie." Any help is appreciated.
iMovie message "There was an internal iDVD error during the last action. This is not a movie." comes up after trying to create a movie to burn to iDVD. Recently added a 2TB external drive to free up memory from HD. iDVD was working fine till the ED was added. Can't burn DVDs anymore. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?
What folders did you move to the EHD? Any of the basic Home folders? What format is the EHD? It should be OS X Extended (journaled). Do you have any files that iDVD uses on the EHS, i.e. project files, media files?

I had this exact same problem because the router i had in my house was having interference issues and the speed was too slow to do it.
I would download a speedtest app on your iPad and see how fast your internet is. I think the app is called speedtest in fact. -

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? Take a look at the article below, it provides suggestions that will resolve most issues that cause an alert like that to appear in when starting the Mail app.

I have a MacBook 7,1 which i recently installed a PNY 250 SSD and added some RAM. The laptop was running awesome with OSX 10.6.8, lightning fast.
Then I installed Yosemite. There was a bit of hang during the install, but Yosemite came up no issue when I rebooted. Here is the problem:
Every other time I boot the MacBook it hangs at a grey screen with the prohibitory sign. Verbose reveals a "still waiting for root device" error. Now if I reboot from that hang, it boots fine, but then will hang again the next time. It keeps alternating like this. Any ideas??

Keep getting message "ipad cannot be synced, unknown error (1150)...what does that mean?
Whenever I try to sync my iPad I keep getting message "iPad cannot be synced, unknown error" with code (1150). What does that mean?
This happened to me after I upgraded to iOS6.
Tried everything I could find in a common thread here on the site, but what finally worked was...well, the last thing I did before it allowed a sync, I guess I can't say for sure that this is the problem, but...somehow, in the sync settings for the iPad, the "Sync Only Checked Songs and Videos" box had become unchecked. Clearly, there isn't enough room on the iPad for everything on the laptop, so I think this may have been choking it.
Worked fine at that point.
And, for what it's worth, I looked at the Music tab for my iPad in iTunes, and THERE it said only to use selected artists and playlists, but on the main SUMMARY page, the box was unchecked.
Oh, and I updated all the apps on the iPad (73 updates??) before trying the sync, so that might be a factor too.

Nikon 300S. It is set to NEF(RAW) + JPEG fine. When I import to Lightroom I get message "There was an error working with the photo? Does anyone know why or how to correct?

I'm still working with Adobe; however, I may have a unique problem as
explained by Adobe Support: I purchased what is known
as a one user License of a Volume License from a supplier for a CS6
Upgrade from CS5. I had purchased the CS5 direct from Adobe and this is
considered to be a Retail version and not a Volume Licensed product. Adobe
says that you need to upgrade from a licensed version to a licensed
version. They provided me with a link and instructions to upgrade from my
retail version; however, so far it is not installing with the serial number
that was provided. I will contact Adobe next Tuesday after the holiday and
see if the problem can be resolved.

okay,heres the story,i have an ipod touch 2nd generation,two months ago i dropped it in water,up until now it didnt work,for some reason it does now,problem is,my ipod tells me that i have to connect it to itunes for it to work ( i cant do anything with it,when i power it up it shows the power cord going into the itunes logo,thats all it does),but when i connect it,itunes tells me that i have to remove the password i had on it before i dropped it into water, but again i cant go in my ipod to remove it,so i was wondering if theres a chance that i can take my password off by another way then my ipod? if anybody has a solution it would be really helpfull thanks
Try placing the iPod in recovery mode and then restoring the iPod via iTunes. Fior recovery mode see:

when trying to send email on hotmail or opening certain video files, a yellow message bar appears at the top telling me that this needs to be restarted with 32-bit processing and asks to restart. Most of the time it opens the same pg, but sometimes it goes back to the first page on site. Either way, I have sent emails w/ and w/o restarting with out any problems. it is just ignoring!

Let me get this straight...... I have paid for content on itunes, bought the apple devicds in order to play said content, now I have to subscribe $25 for the privilage of playing MY library content on MY other devices. Which wasn't such an issue to do before the new and improved itunes version!!
Have I got that correct. I think I cannot associate my other iOS devices with my library because I am unwilling to pay further through the nose!!!??? or am I missing something?

bridge.exe is probably running in the background. Trying closing it via the Task Manager.

Error when extracting data from Hyperion enterprise 6.3.1

Time Capsule not doing incremental backups
My Time Capsule has suddenly started backing up the whole hard drive every time instead of doing incremental backups. How can I fix this? I am running the latest version of Snow Leopard - I have not installed Lion yet.
