IDVD6 discs not copy-able by toast

My problem is Titanium toast not being able to copy a DVD burned with iDVD6.
What had worked in the past was to burn one master in iDVD, quit iDVD, restart the computer to refresh Free space on the drive, and then burn multiple copies using Titanium Toast 6.
Since upgrading to iDVD6, Toast doesn't want to copy my master discs saying
"The content on disc to be copied cannot be unmounted. All open files and programs on this volume must be closed first."
None of the help info for either Toast or iDVD inform me how to go back and close the volumes or files or whatever it is that needs to get closed - after the burning process is over. Also I couldn't find anything in iDVD6 help that would make this closing process occur - before the end of burning, or before coughing up the so called completed disc.
I must say that these discs that won't copy in toast, do perform wonderfully in stand alone DVD players. I would be happy to burn all of my copies with iDVD but there seems this one continual bug that APPLE has perpetuated since iDVD3 which is that in one single disc burning my activity monitor shows that it (the iDVD softwear) eats up most of the Free space on my drive leaving it mostly Inactive rather than Free. iDVD also pushes my dual 1GB processor to its limits (sometimes running it at 196%). I have 1.5GB ram btw. So, what had worked in the past was to burn one master in iDVD, quit iDVD, restart the computer to refresh Free space on the drive, and then burn multiple copies using Titanium Toast 6.
Please help, I am a professional shooter and going nuts with this simple process of gettting the deliveries out.

I know that from my searches, this topic has been touched on but I am unable to locate a solution. So my apologies in advanced if asked and answered.
When updating, iTunes tells me that some songs cannot be copied because they cannot be found. However, the songs are clearly in the iTunes folder. I also have a backup copy of my entire library and adding them back from that library does not work either.
Here is what I have discovered about these files: some are songs that were in an album by themself and then the rest of the album was added later. Some of the songs are in the format of .mp3 and some are in the format of .m4a. None of the affected songs are purchased from iTunes; none of my purchased music is problematic.
This problem seems to be growing. At first it was just one song, then it grew to 48 and then to 59. The songs play just fine in iTunes, but cannot be copied to the iPod. I checked the properties of the songs, and none of them are read-only. There should not be a problem with permissions on this computer as I am the administrator and gave myself full priveleges on installation.
Clearly there is something wrong with these songs that prevents their being copied. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
At the risk of getting flamed, please don't respond just to gripe about Apple, etc. I am looking for solutions, not commiseration.

Replying to my own post since I don't see how to edit.
I have some more information that may help if someone can determine the significance.
I EXPORTED one of the playlists that contains 2 of the above described problem songs. I converted the text file to a table and then noted that in the last column (column 27) that there is a PATH to the song. All other songs do not have this in the path. The path does not refer to the current location of the file, either.
The first song that this happened to does not appear on any playlists so I did not discover this.
The rest of the songs got "lost" after I added some old playlists back to my Library that I had exported. In one particular playlist two of the songs had the wrong path in the Location column, and neither was found. However, the rest of the songs had a blank field in that column and were found just fine. So.... I think I may be onto something, for all those who have this problem. However, the only way to actually do this without a supercomputer would be to make a playlist of all the not-copy-able songs, export the playlist and carefully look for that path data.
I would love to hear if anyone has tried this for this problem. I don't want to keep replying to my own posts, but I honestly think I cracked this "bug". The problem appears to be that the data in the database gets errors in it during the moving/addition of a song from another place on the system, regardless of the settings in iTunes. In my case, I consolidated my library, allowed iTunes to organize my music and I am a fanatic about spelling and so forth for song titles and related information.

checked the security setting, the content copable: Allowed
But I do not know how I can make it Not allowed.
Or just any way to make the content not copy-able.
Because I told my boss just use photoshop and save as PDF,
and he want it to be more simple, he want it to be done straight from MS,

You can do this - by not doing it the way You describe as it will not work.
a. the external hard disk - MUST BE - Mac OS extended (hfs) formatted -
UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - will work for most things - BUT NOT FOR VIDEO (iMovie, iDVD or FinalCut doesn't matter)
b. Do not alter or move any folder named
• iMovie Event's - or -
• iMovie Project's
on DeskTop/Finder - at all
All moving's of Events and Projects must be done within the iMovie Application - then connections will not break.
(move them back and see if iMovie remembers them - then do move as described above)

Cannot solve the problem of not being able copy and paste in firefox. I have tried removing appInit.dll, new profiles, etc. with no luck. What is the problem?

My research on the topic has led me to try the disabling all plugins, creating a new profile in safe startup, I removed appInit_dlls from my registry, could not find pushowxx adware, installed lastest version and updates of firefox, etc. All to no avail.

I have seen this issue occur with users who have this registry setting missing or have improper permissions.
When you double click the attachment to launch the pdf it is saved and opened from the temporary folder unless saved specifically to a location.
If you dont have the below mentioned registry key or improper permissions then attachments fail to open.
Please heck if the following reg key exists:

You can definitely get these photos into iPhoto if they are the correct file type (JPEG, GIF, TIFF, and PNG). The way you import the photo attachments depends on where you check your e-mail. The following article is for iPhoto 11 (but should work for previous versions as well). It outlines how to import photos from Mac Mail, other e-mail applications, and web browsers, so just look at the section that applies to you.

Warning message "Your device might not be able to play or view this file" when copying MP3s to MTP device

Some new phones are doing away with the virtual HDD and switching to MTP for transferring files to/from the device. Because of this every time I want to copy MP3s to my MTP device I get a Windows message saying "Your device might not be able to
play or view this file" forcing me to click "Ignore this error" every time I start a new copy. I am VERY grateful that there is an option that says "Do this for all remaining files", but it's still really annoying because each time I start a new file copy
it pops up.
To be clear, this is not a device or driver issue. This is a windows prompt that is specifically tied to MTP devices.
Is there a registry key I can change so Windows will automatically assume the answer is "Yes, your file will be copied, but you might not be able to play or view it on your device"? Or perhaps a key where I can change the file types this prompt is

Based on my research and test, I’m afraid that this feature is by-design. We cannot simply disable or change the feature by editing the registry.
I think you can use the transfer tool from your phone manufacturer.

Supported disc not available; i.e. imac not recognizing "burned" dvd

After using iDVD, and not being able to create a finished dvd from an iMovie project with my 1000mz iMac, I had to use my daughter's 1.4 gz iBook, and successfully burned a disc image.
After I burned a DVD from the disc image, it played fine in my home DVD player, and the iBook from which it was created. However, when I put the disc in my iMac, the disc was not readable within DVD player. I kept getting the following message:
"supported disc not available".
Although the name of the DVD appeared on the desktop, DVD player could not play the contents of the DVD. After visiting the Apple store, the "genius" suggested the super drive in the iMac is very sensitive, and after age, may not read all discs.
Now my question:
If i need to upgrade to a MacBook (so I have a faster processor to finish DVD projects), and the finished discs are not readable in my iMac, does this all make any sense? Is there another explanation as to why the finished disc was not readable in my iMac, yet was readable in 6 other Macs at the Apple Store? Could it be the media (I doubt), the super drive in the iMac, or the way in which the disc was burned using the iBook? (I used "Toast" to burn the dvd, not apple's "disc utility" .Any advice is most appreciated.

Yes it could be the media....some drives don't like some kinds of media. You might find if you switch, things get better. I like verbatim. Is it a DVD-R or DVD+R? How old is your iMac?

Yes it could be that too. Could even be a dirty/dusty lens in the iMac. If it's not working now, I'd try a CD/DVD lens cleaning disk. Some users don't like these and think they can damage things, but not me. But use at your own risk.

Since it worked well in many other players, it sounds like you've got a pretty good burn. But I said pretty good. You can get better burns if you burn at slower speeds - I use Toast at 1X when I want the "best" burn. I doubt Toast is the problem though, just maybe the speed of the burn.
DVD compatibility is still not where it should be for home computers, Macs or PCs.

Found the answer. I wasted a bunch of time trying a whole bunch of different things like changing my security settings to allow apps from Everyone, turning off my firewall, downloading a newer Java, etc.
I finally contacted Printmaster support and they said that Printmaster 2012 Platinum (and ALL VERSIONS of Printmaster other than their newest one) will simply not work with Yosemite. Even their newest one (called Printmaster V6 Platinum) won't work unless you download a fix. Here is the entire response that they sent me. I've had Printmaster 2012 Platinum for several years so it will cost me $10 and some effort (calling them AND sending an email with a photo of the box and disc...and then paying them) to get a version that will work.

I can't get download to work - it will not copy the mp3 file to my chosen location (as set in tools/options) - it gives me a new window with a player - no dwnlo

I am running windows xp sp2 and I have set my dowload location under (tools/options), but when I select an MP3 file to download, firefox does NOT copy the file to my chosen location on my HD - instead, it opens up a new window with a makeshift "player" and begins loading the player with the MP3 file. The problem is that I have no idea where on my system firefox has copied this file to, so, I cannot leave and come back later and play this MP3 file using winamp. I have to listen to it right then or lose it - if I close that new window (with that puny little "player"), then I lose the download, wherever firefox put it on my PC (I got no idea where it is). This is all under firefox 25.0
I am also running FIrefox 12.0 on an older windows 2000 machine and that works perfectly - I can download any MP3 file I want, and firefox 12.0 (on win2k, sp4) downloads it to my chosen location (on my HD), and it gives me the download window so I can watch its progress and have some control over pause, and resume, and, when it is done, the download window offers me the option to "open containing folder" so I can make sure it got to where I wanted it. In other words, Firefox 12.0 on WIn2k, sp4 works better than firefox 25.0 on winxp sp2!!!!! What gives? I went through and set up my options for XP just like I did with Win2k and it all looks good, but firefox 25.0 just ignores my chosen location and always defaults to give me that makeshift player and I am not able to actually copy the mp3 file to my harddrive - it makes firerox 25.0 almost unusable since downloading mp3 files is a big part of my firexfox use - please help - I am not able to upgrade windows at this time, and, since firefox 12.0 still works fine on win2k, I can't understand what happened at firefox?

I tried it again using "save link as", and this time it actually worked! I just now downloaded several more using the "save link as" option, and it works perfectly. Thanks. Problem solved.

Cannot delete messages from inbox, cannot move messages out of inbox, message do not copy to "sent" or "draft"

The following problems occur:
- cannot delete messages,
- cannot move messages out of inbox,
- messages do not copy "sent"
- messages cannot be saved to "draft"
This applies to imap and to gmail accounts.
The following has not helped:
- compact trash and other folder
- deinstall and reinstall TB 31.4.
- archive profile with mozbackup and replace profile from archive after reinstall of TB.
- deinstall and reinstall TB 31.3 downgraded
- delete all folders and files with "trash*" in the file name (all IMAP)
- delete all files of 1 mail account completely in the TB profile and resync from server (IMAP)
This might coincide with these system changes:
- upgrade to TB 31.4.
- some of these email accounts were installed on ios8 iphone.
Not sure if the problems had already started before these 2 occurrences.
Any help is appreciated to solve this.

What type of mail account is this (POP, IMAP, .Mac)? If POP, what are your Preferences > Accounts > Advanced > Remove copy from server settings?
You may be able to get rid of those messages in Mail doing Edit > Cut (⌘X) (for best results do it with one message or just a few at a time), but you should remove them from the server first if they’re still there.
Does this account allow web access? If not, you may find the Account Info window useful to solve this problem — choose Get Info (⌘I) from the Action menu (gear icon) located below the mailboxes list in the main Mail window.

Open Qty is not copied in Delivery for Stock Transfer Order

In the Stock Transfer Order process, Once the STO Order is created, I am creating delivery in the transaction VL10B or VL10G.
When I am clicking the background button Delivery gets generated. Then when i am going in the transaction VL02N and increasing the delivery Quantity which is more than STO order quantity, the system is accepting it. But i want the system to throw an error message if the delivery quantity is more than the order qauntity. For this I have made the following settings.
In the Transaction Code 0VLP, i have selected B in Check Over Delivery field. But still it is not throwing an error.
The reason for the same may be, the system is not copying the Open Delivery Qty from the STO Order (Which normally happens in Sale Order to Delivery process, bcos of Copy Control). This field has 0 value. So the system is not able check for over delivery.
If I get this value in the delivery then it should be working fine and the sytem will throw an error for over delivery.
Can you please suggest me a way to get this open qty value in delivery for STO order or suggest me some other option to check for over delivery in STO.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click the following line to select it. Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C):

Because one of my Time Machine hard drives failed catastrophically, I bought a replaceemnt disk and tried to copy the Backups from my second TM hard drive as a starting point for the new drive.
The copy failed: "A075BE7D-541F-4AA8-80D6-E5E42DD9B198"cannot be converted. Please install newer version of iWork.
The 2nd error message was The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8062).
The 3rd error message was: The operation can't be completed because you don't have permisssion to access some of the items.
These last two messages were repeated a few times.
Finally, this error message appeared: The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -8003).
The copy then terminated.
Some additional points are:
There is only one user on this computer.
My copy of iWork is 4.3, which is the latest on the App store (certainly for Pages).
I am running OS X 10.8.4
I gave up trying to retain the Time Machine history on my new TM drive and used it as a new empty TM backup. So, at this stage I have one old 1TB backup drive with reasonable history and one brand new 3 TB backup. A week later I purchased another 3TB drive. Knowing that I couldn't copy from the old 1TB drive, I tried from the newer 3TB drive. It failed the same way. So the problem is not one of an old corrupted backup; it's new and repeatable.
Using terminal, I searched my TM backup for the file named above (using "sudo ls -aR | grep A075BE7D"). Here's my output:

Some web searching leads me to understand that these files are created under some (or all?) circumstances for Pages documents stored in iCloud. The names of the files above tell me this is part of Mountain Lion's version management system.
My question is: how can I safely get rid of the files above or in some other way make my TM backup copyable? I am also concerned that if I can't copy the backup, I may not be able to use it as a backup or as a way to migrate to a new machine.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That does get damaged on occasion. I haven't seen it in quite a while, so it's pretty rare.
You can delete it from the backups, via the TM interface, but you must be able to show invisible items).
First, open the Terminal app (in your Applications/Utilities folder). Be very careful with this app. It's a direct link into UNIX, the underpinnings of OSX, but without the protections of OSX.
In Terminal, the prompt looks like this: <Computer Name>:~ <your name>$
(where <your name> is your short user name). It's followed by a non-blinking block cursor.
Copy, do not type, the following after the prompt:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1
and press Return.
You should just see the prompt again.
Then see Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #12 to delete all the backups of it.
and from the live system filestore so they don't get copied out to a backup again.
Yes. You will, of course, lose all previous versions, but since the file is corrupted, you may have lost some, most, or all of them already.
When done, run the same command to hide the invisible items, but replace the "1" with a zero.
