IE 11 cache folders are empty

I normally access the cache folders in IE but recently NOTHING is saved there? I checked the folder location and even moved the cache location and moved it bad. I deleted the folder (forcing IE to re-create it) and did a 'reset' on IE but still nothing shows
in the cache. I expect it to be in c:\users\profile\appdata\low\microsoft\windows\temporary internet files.  This is an install of Windows that is only two days old.
I'm on Win7 64 HE, with IE 11.

Hi,
I think you should check the following path already:
And this is the defined temporary internet files folder. And in fact the temporary file folder is a hidden folder:

iPad- on all Yahoo pages the mail icon with the red number indication shows email.  When I tap, it asks me to sign in again. I do. It takes me to yahoo mail but there is nothing.  All the folders are emptied. All my mail is either read, trash, or deleted. Also, when I tap on the mail app on iPad home page, gmail is no problem but for yahoo I get error: no password for yahoo. Go to Mail Account Settings and enter password.  I'm stuck. Suggestions?  Thank you.

    Ask and you shell receive.....lol
Go to your Gmail account in the browser.
Hit the folder icon that brings up the folder selection.
Scroll down to the bottom and select desktop version.
The broswer will refresh and bring up your gmail account as though you were looking on it on the computer.
The go to the upper right corner and select settings.
Then go to forwarding and pop/imap
    Go look at pop download
There you'll find 3 numbered lines
    Go to 1. Status
And select enable pop for all mail
    Then save the settings
Once you have done that you can go back to BlackBerry device settings and sync your mail or wait for it to sync it's self.
Let me know how it works out.
I just did it and it sync within minutes.

  • Some photo folders in my Windows Photo Gallery are listed in iTunes when I sync my iPhone 3GS but the folders are empty

Some photo folders in my Windows Photo Gallery are listed in iTunes when I sync my iPhone 3GS but the folders are empty.  The same photo folders in Windows Photo Gallery are full of photos. How do I fix this?

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

  • 1 TB Stor.E TV - Folders are empty

    Hi,
I hope for your assistance. I have a 1TB Store.E.TV. Attached at the PC, all folders and files which I copied on it appear. But during the connection at my television there are no more all folders or the folders are empty. Can please someone say to me, where the problem is? I do not get ahead.
Thank you in advance for the support.
    Hattemaha

I have the exact same problem.
I have a 1TB Toshiba StorE TV, and many of my files play perfectly. But I recently copied some across from an Xtreamer Media Drive (directly) and those files do not display.
They are .AVI files, which play perfectly on my laptop, but do not appear on the drive at all.
I'm connected with HDMI cable, and everything else runs perfectly, but the new files.

Email seems to be sent, but it doesn't arrive. No 'unable to send' message, sent items and draft folders are empty. The mail disappears. I tried to fully turn off the iPad and have it restart. But it doesn't go off. I keep seeing the small white 'turning wheel' untill the battery is gone. After that, it works again (and so does the e-mail). This happens about every week. What can I do?

*there's no reason to be paranoid*
    Says Mulder .
Anyway, as I mentioned, I don't use any sync-able email, just a very plain-jane POP email provider. iSync reports no devices and has nothing in its log, which matches my never having installed anything in need of syncing.
The thing is, if Mail says its sending something when nothing was ever sent, that's a largish bug whether it is actually sending something or isn't, and there isn't really enough info here to know which of those are the case. Maybe Mail just displays "Sending" because an attempt to do something reasonable is timing out, maybe it does an innocuous and normal POP thing using very confusing nomenclature, or maybe it's really trying to send something which has a wrong flag or something. There isn't really enough info to know what is going on, so I was hoping someone could identify the symptoms.

  • Itunes folders are empty

I saved all my itunes files to my external hard drive in preparatin for doing a clean install of Windows 7. When I tried to retrieve my itunes from the exsteranl drive all the folders and artwork are there but the folders are empty - no songs. What did I do wrong? Is there anyway to get the songs back?

    Uh oh.
I don't see how you can get them back, if they're gone.

All my folders are empty? The tool bar has a grey question mark on the right side?Help!

That shouldn't happen if you click the scroll buttons on the tab bar.
A double-click should act as page up/down and move a full screen and a triple-click should move to the far left (first tab) or the far right (last) tab.

  • HT1668 I am seeing "all" my emails including those that I deleted days, months, years ago in the "spotlight search" screen of my iPad and iPhone. All account trash folders are emptied. How to remove?

Hello.. I'm seeing all my emails from all my accounts located in the "spotlight search" feature of my iPad and iPhone4. What's most troubling is, there are emails that have previously been deleted. I have confirmed over and over that all trash folders for accounts are emptied as well as all other folders.. I empty the trash very regularly. When I select an email from the list in the spotlight screen, it will take me to an in box for that email where it may or may not exist.. Often it opens another persons email all together.. The bottom line is that I can not delete these emails and it's very nerve racking... Any help is greatly appreciated. Than you..

Thank Goodness for Time Machine.  I was able to restore from a recent back up.
However as a follow up I now have a glitch in that Icloud email will only restore from oldest to newest.  My Icloud.com account is fine. All my email are in chronological order from newest to oldest.
With the help of support from this site I was able to confirm that the problem is not resolved by disabling mail and then enabling again or even from deleting the Icloud Email Account and then reloading.  It is exactly the same.
The only way I can get yesterday's email on my devices is to load 5000 emails starting back in 2010.
I think I caused a glitch when I was restoring from Time Machine.  It was late at night and it was taking a long time so I went to bed thinking it would just continue on.  Well i should have taken my computer out of Sleep Mode because my Imac must have powered down somehow causing the glitch.
Although you would think that I would also have a corrupted email account on Icloud.com
who knows....... the reason why i tend to live with problems rather than correct them because i hate it when stuff like this happens when you do................

  • Tried to delete an email and got message "The folder Trash is full, and can't hold any more messages. To make room . . . . " but the trash folders are empty!

    Trash folder is empty.
Same problem trying to delete messages from 'sent' folder
    Problem continues after computer restart.

Compact your folders. Deleting a message marks it for deletion and hides it. The disk space is not freed up until folders are compacted.
Using the Compact command under File does all floders. You can right clcik a folder and select Compact to do just that folder.
Compacting is a normal maintenance item and should be donr regularly.

  • C:\Windows and C:\Windows\System32 folders are empty after Deployment

I hope you won't find me crazy because of this question, but I have the weirdest thing !@#
We deploy Windows 7 x86 SP1 in our organization.
Our image is a WIM file that is deployed with SCCM 2012 OSD and we are "Baremetaling" PCs. nothing is being migrated or saved from the current PCs
we configured the driver packages for 4 different hardware types (All of them Lenovo) and all are pilots were successful.
we just started not long ago to deploy the image in the production.
    the problem is:
All of the PCs work just fine after deployment. after a day or 2 , randomly, some of the PCs boot automatically to recover mode and fail on the startup repair action.
When I browsed the local disk I was amazed to see the folder C:\Windows contains only the C:\windows\System32 folder AND BOTH OF THEM ARE EMPTY!!
in this mode I can't even debug logs, event viewer, DaRT.... everything is lost!
it happens so far on 3 of 4 of the different hardware models, so we know it's not hardware related issued or driver.
I know it is very foggy information but I thought maybe someone else has ever ran into this issue and what was the cause
our guess is an update \ software on the base image that causes the damage, though it's a very similar damage for any opinion
any help will be appreciated! thanks
    Tamir Levy

    Hi Tamir Levy,
How can you check the C disk, we need to know the C: is a System disk not a 100M System Reserved partition in this situation.
I also would like to confirm, if you can run system restore from System Recovery boot prompt. If no, what the error message you get.
In additoin, I would like to suggest you try the following steps to check the issue:
    1. Run Check Disk from a Command Line to Check for and fix Disk Errors
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ee872425.aspx
    2. I suspect it may be related to malware. You may try to make a full scan with an AntiVirus Scanner like Microsoft Security Essentials.
    Microsoft Security Essentials
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download
    3. Use another system image for a test.
Meanwhile, you can collect smsts.log file and detailed progress of OSD TS to get more details to check which problem you are having.
I would like suggest to you post the question on Windows System Center Configuration Manager Forum for further help.
    System Center Configuration Manager Forum

    Hope it helps.

  • Mail 4.5 folders are empty after 10.6.8 reinstall.

    Hi Guys,
I need advice about Mail 4.5.
I've been obliged to reinstall ALL my data.
On a brand new hard drive, I did a clean DVD install of 10.6.5, and then a clean Software Update install of 10.6.8, in my MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo, with 4 MB of RAM.
I have NOT been able to rely upon my Time Machine backups (long story).
Instead, I've been obliged to do a raw copy of all my data from an external hard drive.
Everything seems to be back where it was except Mail 4.5.
Mail launches fine, it can see all my accounts, it can pull down new mail, and I can see all my Mail folders, as evidenced by this screen grab:
The problem is that ALL my Mail folders (Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash, Junk, etc) appear to be empty.
So, for example, the Mail folder called 'Newspapers' shows that it has 20,418 unread messages within it.
However, when I click on the 'Newspapers' folder, I can't see ANY messages, either read or unread.
Instead, I just get a blank white screen.
All my Mail accounts are running on standard POP configs.
No IMAP complexities, or anything like that.
I've installed EXACT copies of these three folders, all of which worked fine before I was forced to reinstall all my data:
    - Users/Name/Library/Mail
    - Users/Name/Library/Mail Downloads
    - Users/Name/Library/Preferences
I've also repaired Permissions in Disk Utility, and pulled restarts.
In view of the fact that Mail can see my messages, but won't show them to me, I'm stumped.
Your wise and kind advice would be gratefully received.
    Many thanks.
    Best,
    Michael T

    Hi Softwater,
Thanks for your kind and swift response.
It's not the recent e-mails which I'm worried about.
They can stay on the server until I've resolved my OLD e-mails, 99% of which are long deleted from their servers.
I'm deliberately keeping Mail offline until I've retrieved my 20 year e-mail history, all of which has been put into sub-folders within sub-folders within sub-folders.
I've got to get my e-mail history back.
    Thanks.
    Best,
    Michael

  • Exchange Sync - Certain folders are empty, some calendar/Invites not synced

We currently have several people getting their Exchange emails on the iPhone utilizing ActiveSync.
However, we have one user who says that his Trash folder is empty while another user complains that her Sent folder is empty. The respective folders in Outlook (PC) are full of messages that are not downloaded to their iPhone. They don't have problem with subfolders they have created under the inbox, just the trash and/or Sent folder.
How does one get iphone to force download messages in either folder?
Also, one of the user also says that one invited meeting was accepted on the iPhone but never appeared on his Outlook.
Is this an iphone or Microsoft ActiveSync problem?
    Any help is appreciated!

    Anyone?

  • Folders are Empty in Deployment Workbench - Can See Monitoring Though?

When I use the deployment workbench on my primary machine, every primary folder is empty except Advanced Configuration and Monitoring. I can't see any sub-folders (ex: we have our Drivers divided into folders). I can go inside of Advanced Configuration
and edit any item. I can go to monitoring and interact normally. My client OS is Windows 8.1 Update 1.
If I remote into our deployment server, the workbench behaves normally - I can see the contents of every folder (including sub folders). Our server is Windows 2012 R2 Update 1 - we are running MDT 2013

    \\server\deploymentshare$\
I can browse both paths fine in Explorer. I have FC to the share and the folders. I am an admin to the server.
