We hope your issue has been resolved, if you've found solution by yourself. We would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.
I am looking to your log find that it's trying to launch DISM from c:\windows\SysNative. You might try build a symbolic link from c:\windows\system32 (where DISM lives) to the non-existent path c:\windows\SysNative. Then check the issue again.
To build a symbolic link, try workaround as Brian's reply to this thread.

Windows 7 64bits Installing Internet Explorer 11 ERROR Neutral package installation failed
Hi,
The laptop is running Windows 7 64bits with Internet Explorer 10 and the Windows automatic updates is turned on. The problem happens when the Windows keeps installing the Internet Explorer 11 every time between shutdown process. So I decided to download
IE11 offline installation and try to install from it but the problem doesn't solve, the installation still does not complete. I have tried to delete all files in the Windows temp folder and IE temp folder already but the problem still exist.

IE 10 will not install in Windows 7 64 bit SP1
I go past the prompt that says "restarting programs". Then the installation fails. The updates are all up to the minute.
Please help me install IE 10

Every time i get to the installation phase of the trial version for Indesign CS6, it starts to install and then says installation failed and on the error summary page it says exit code 7. I have tried to restart my computer and everything

I'm trying to Install Creative Suite 6 Design Standard on my pc. I've tried two or three times after re-starting the computer and closing all open applications as advised by the Installer. I continue to get an "Installation Failed" window while the error summary reads:

DQS installation fails: Exit code 255
Hello, I am having a heck of a time installing DQS. I have tried installing from command, from specific Instance directory, etc. No matter what method , the below error is thrown. Also, There are no system restrictions, elevated prompt
issues, etc. at play, so those rudimentary causes can be ruled out.
Environment:
Virtual Machine running on HyperV
Clean/New installation of OS and SQL
Server 2008 R2 SP1 Datacenter Edition
SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition - I have applied CU1 hotfix but that did not help. Hotfix location = http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2679368

Looking at the 'recreate_schema.bat' file, I see that it attempts to create the DQS databases by calling create_databases.sql. If I try to manually execute that script through SSMS, it fails as well. It throws errors such as....

Thank you in advance!net helpmsg 255 shows the error means something cryptic... The extended attributes are inconsistent.
1. Is your computer in US English, or is it set to another locale?
2. Is there any command interpreters / command shells installed? I saw a wierd problem like this on the forum when someone had a command shell system installed that overrode the Windows default cmd with some add-ins.
3. If I recall, one of the first things the .bat file does is to use SQLCMD to run the .sql scripts. Do you have SQLCMD on the box? I think it is under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn\sqlcmd.exe
Is there any older instance of SQL installed? The reason I ask is that if the older version is in the PATH environment variable, it might be picking up the wrong SQLCMD and getting an error because of that. You could search the hard drive to be sure.
Try to change the PATH for the command prompt session to only include the right folder
SET PATH=C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn

I have tried several times now, shutting the computer down several times, nothing seems to work... any ideas? It installs up to 2 % and then quits
I hope some of you did figure out a solution. I was trying to implement the suggestions by the kb provided by Adobe:

I failded.
Then I was in touch with an Adobe Expert and they provided me the following how to:
1. Enable the root user account and then try to install the software, the steps are provided below.
1a Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Users & Groups.
1b Click the lock icon to unlock it, and then type an administrator name and password.
1c In the Network Account Server section, click Join or Edit.
1d Click Open Directory Utility.
1e Click the lock icon to unlock it, and then enter your administrator name and password.
1f Choose Edit > Enable Root User, and then enter a root user password in the Password and Verify fields. Be sure to specify a secure password.
2 Create a new admin account and start your Mac in safe mode log in to the new account and then try to install the steps.
These two steps will help you to install the software in your Mac.

I am trying to re-install Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard on my Widows 7 Professional computer after I had to replace the hard drive. I keep getting error message and I get "Exit Code 15: Media DB Sync failed". I have run C Cleaner with same results. Have Disabled UAC and Startup items and Services with no success. Please help - frustrated to no end. Can someone help me?

When trying to deploy agent to a Linux host from Cloud Control 12c (Add Target Manually / Add Host) getting Agent Clone Failed Exit Code:1 error. Looking at the log (I guess below is the fragment of the log related to this error) can't reaize what is the problem. Any idea?

Edited by: user739062 on Nov 13, 2012 11:04 AMI opened SR Number 3-6443254171 and in my case the problem was that the user hadn't read and write permissions for the oraInventory/backup folder on the agent machine. Giving such permissions fixed the problem.
