IE can not can not display the web site How can I get the GUI to open

In version 4.2 on the controller SSLv2 is disabled by default. IE by default doesn't do SSLv3. Either enable SSLv2 on the controller or SSLv3 on the client.

Not able to display the Installation Base of once it unassigned from upper level Installation IBase.

I am working on IBase scenario for my client, I am new to the IBase scenario. Here we are creating installation base for two to five levels of product.
Once we create IBase for lower level then this IBase is inserted in upper level IBase. Like this we assign all levels based on product.In some cases we need to unassign any of IBase from its upper level IBase. When it is unassigned we are not able to display the IBase which unassigned. When it is unassigned from upper level how come system not able to display this IBase. If we speak functionally the part (IBase) which is unassigned should be valid to assign in any other upper level IBase in feature.
The error I am getting for above is
Serial number XXXXXXX for material XXXXXXX does not exist in any IBase
Message no. IQ122
Diagnosis
Serial number BMF3000106 for material S24-D5022-C100-6 does not exist in any installed base on 31.03.2015 at 10:22:09.
System Response
The system cancels processing.

You may not have authorisation for S&D cubes, so i feel it is an authorisation issue, kindly take one of your colleagues id to check this, if it is working for them, then i think you have to add those to roles to your ID..
Still there is a option to override this, but you have debug it once, and change the authorisation code(sy-subrc) value, and please dont try this if you are not familiar at ABAP, and this is not adviceable if it is an authorisation issue as there will be logs recorded for all the things you are doing and oreover each time when u click on DTP you have debug it to change the authorisation
code..
Note: If it is QA or Dev system you can try debugging it, but if it is production system then i think u have to use an alternate ID...

OAF page is not able to display the custom error messages

Hi,
I have extended a seeded CO and trying to throw few custom error messages.
It was working fine, but suddenly it is not able to display the error messages(but checked that the error messages are still present in application) and saying "Message not found. Application: PER, Message Name: ...."
Is there any profile option which enables the custom messages?

There is no profile to enable the Custom error Messages, u will use the diagnostistics for showing the messages in the custom page
use the following syntax for writing a msg in Jdeveloper
pageContext.writeDiagnostics(strClassName, "Initializing the vo....", OAWebBeanConstants.STATEMENT);
and enable the following profile option to yes

my requirement is: i have command link on the form.which on clicked should display a popup and with in that popup a image should be shown. I have stored that image in the form of byte array.

how do you access the image? Put yourself in our shoes and look at your question and then add the missing information. E.g. does the image show if loaded on a page itself and not a popup ?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Do you see any prefs related to that knoxnews.com site on the about:config page if you enter that URL in the Filter?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You are not authorized to display the case component, when using copy

I copied the standard UDM_SPS_CASE_RECORD and created a Z version with no changes, in addition also copied the standard Case Record model with no changes. I have entered my new case record model into my new element and tied both the to case type. When trying to create a case get a message "You are not authorized to display the case component"
SU53 looks good, and BASIS did a Trace and did not see anything.
When I change the configuration back to use the standard no issues and case is created. Anybody know what the issue might be?

when you get this error on screen type /NSU53 , hit Enter and get a new screenshot
if you see the message ""The last authorization check was successful" that means nothing to do with Basis team, it could be a custom message - talk to abaper ;
but if you see some objects there (Authorization check failed) - please pass to security or basis guys
ask / try another user which hasn'rt such error and comare the roles you and he/she has - try to find out the difference

I'm running Windows 7. Installed "Power Manager" via System Update 4.0 last night (10/23/2009). Getting this error when hitting FN+F3.

Furthermore, I'm unable to see any of the default power schemes. Finally, I created two new power schemes, neither of them display for selection.
Any one else experiencing this issue?!?!?

I work in SRM 7.0 . The purchaser created one Auction and published it .When the bidder logon the system and click the "Live Auction ", the system displayed"You are not authorized to display the auction".I guess that there is something wrong with the LAC. Or orthers?

Hello Alex,
The link you have mentioned opens a Java applet which is called as live auction cockpit.
The views will be diff depending upon the role purchaser/bidder.
But for this the Java server has to be properly integrated with the SRM server.
basis has to correctly define the authorisations of the integrating user.
Please check this with the help of LAC installation guide
