IE needs longer to load using Dynadock V10 on Satellite Pro M70

Hi,
when I'm using the Dynadock V10 on the Sattelite Pro M70 every time when a program has pictures in it, the need long time to load, and for this time the mouse curser is jumping. It appears in MS Internet Explorer as well as in MS Word.
Is there maybe a bottleneck with all those different data coming throw one simple USB cable?
When I don't use the Dynadock, connecting all the different cables directly with the Sattelite Pro the error doesn't happen!
Grafik driver is on the newest realease and the Operating System Windows XP has SP3 and newest Updates!
I tried to deinstall the Dynadoc Software, but the problem still occures.
How can I fix the problem, because now working is so bad, that the Dynadoc doesn't make sense!
Thanks in Advance!

I dont think anyone here will be able to offer some logic explanation and I think you must search best combination how to connect all devices together to have best performance.
We can ask here so many stuff but if this will help.... I dont think so.
What Im interesting here is follow: have you tried to change devices connectivity to get best performance? For instance I would never connect LAN to the Dynadock.
Why to send signal to external device and not directly to the notebook?

    FC/e is based upon the Quicktime-engine; so, on 'Export using QT', you'll get all codecs & settings.
    but which one..
    due to sheer popularity, YouTube became a 'standard' - I'm happy with the convenience, YT and the 'embed'-code offers - excellent quality, automatic adjusted to the watchers connection&hardware.
    my export settings are 720p, h264, 6MBit/sec - gives a - imho! - superb quality.
    (example of a 'screen-test' from my latest project CLICK )
    for creating so-called 'flash video'/.flv, you need 3rd party apps.
    Sorenson Squeeze is more of an pro-tool, .. you need some background knowledge to get noticeable 'better' quality.
    .. and the question is: are you willing to pay $.$$$ for that 0.x% more quality .. ? does your source offers such a 101% quality, which needs such affords?
    if bandwidth is an issue, because you're hosting on your own servers, consider the free codec xh264, you can install as a free QT-plug-in.. with low or super-low bitrates, it offers a superior quality compared to h264 ...

  • Need faster data loading (using sql-loader)

    i am trying to load approx. 230 million records (around 60-bytes per record) from a flat file into a single table. i have tried sql-loader (conventional load) and i'm seeing performance degrade as the file is being processed. i am avoiding direct path sql-loading because i need to maintain uniqueness using my primary key index during the load. so the degradation of the load performance doesn't shock me. the source data file contains duplicate records and may contain records that are duplicates of those that are already in the table (i am appending during sql-loader).
    my other option is to unload the entire table to a flat file, concatenate the new file onto it, run it through a unique sort, and then direct-path load it.
    has anyone had a similar experience? any cool solutions available that are quick?
    thanks,
    jeff

    It would be faster to suck into a Oracle table, call it a temporary table and then make a final move into the final table.
    This way you could direct load into an oracle table then you could
    INSERT /*+ APPEND */ INTO Final_Table
        SELECT DISTINCT *
        FROM   Temp_Table
        ORDER BY ID;This would do a 'direct load' type move from your temp teable to the final table, which automatically merging the duplicate records;
    So
    1) Direct Load from SQL*Loader into temp table.
    2) Place index (non-unique) on temp table column ID.
    3) Direct load INSERT into the final table.
    Step 2 may make this process faster or slower, only testing will tell.
    Good Luck,

  • Need info about max HDD size available for Satellite Pro M30-813

    Hello,
    The following question is mainly to be addressed to authorized Toshiba support personnel. What exactly is the limitation of a maximum size of an internal HDD that I could use with my Satellite Pro M30-813?
    Recently, I have bought and installed seagate 160 GB SATA drive, onto which I have successfully installed WXP Pro and have been running it for quite a while with no problems. Recently, I have been copying large amount of data from an external hard drive to my new internal disk, and as the files were being copied as I noticed having about 50 GB free space left, I had experienced windows "delayed write failed" and a massive partition failure with no possibility to recover data. The system would no longer boot and the whole MBR was damaged. As the result, I have lost all data on my new disk.
    Although, I realize that Toshiba is not responsible for additional hardware that I use with my laptop and that is not officially supported by Toshiba, I am certain that as an end user of a Toshiba product I have the right to know about a max HDD size limitation information for my notebook model. Therefore, I request Toshiba technical support representative to give me a straight official answer to my question.
    Thank you in advance,
    Andrejs
    (You may also contact me privately at my e-mail address)

    Hi Andrew
    > The following question is mainly to be addressed to authorized Toshiba support personnel
    I think you are in the wrong area if you are looking for an answer from an authorized Toshiba support.
    This is a Toshiba user-to-user forum! You will meet here Toshiba notebook owner and enthusiasts who share knowledge and tries solve problems but nobody from Tosh :(
    I could provide my experience with the M30 Satellite and the HDD upgrade possibilities.
    In my knowledge the Sat M30 supports a 40GB, 60GB and 80GB HDD for sure.
    In my opinion you could use the 100GB HDD but bigger HDDs will not run and functions correctly.
    So switch to a lower HDD size and enjoy the notebook!
    Ive goggled a little bit and found compatible HDD and the part numbers
    HITACHI GBC000Z810 -> 80GB
    HITACHI GBC00014810 -> 80GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2188B -> 80GB
    HITACHI G8C0000Z610 -> 60GB
    HITACHI G8BC00013610 -> 60GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2183 -> 60GB
    TOSHIBA HDD2184 -> 60GB
    I hope this could help you a little bit!
    Best regards

  • Dark webcam when using the MSN on Satellite Pro notebook

    Guys ... My built in cam in my Satellite Pro laptop seems working fine when I open it .. But when I use it with MSN Messenger its always dark... I mean if I set it on night mood it would work with the cam software but not with MSN.
    What should i do !!
    HElp plzzzzzz

    If you use the MSN the webcam software shouldnt be started and should not run!!!
    Disable the webcam software in msconfig. The webcam software should not start automatically while booting the notebook.
    Also the MSN shouldnt load. Disable it also in msconfig.

  • Need help with installing new hard drive in Satellite Pro M10

    Hi All,
    My hard disk died in my Satellite Pro M10 so I decided to fit another.
    It fits fine in the caddy but just doesnt want to slot into place correctly as something seems to be stopping it.
    Does the M10 only accept a certain make/model?
    Also does anyone know what the highest capacity the M10 will accept?
    Many thanks.
    Regards
    J

    As far as I know there should not be problem at all. Take old and new HDD and compare the connectors. I hope they are the same. I can just imagine the new HD is not placed properly in the HDD bracket. Be sure the new one is placed as old one after removing it from the notebook.
    About max HDD capacity there is no precise info and we can just speculate about it. Try to use search option on this forum. Maybe someone already wrote about HDD upgrade on Sat/Sat Pro M10.
    The fact is that Satellite Pro is delivered with 30, 40 and 60 GB HDDs. How many GB has your new HDD?

  • Need latest graphic card drivers for Satellite Pro M70

    I've had this PC for only a few months now and i've been disappointed to have heard that my drivers are WAY out of date. The only drivers i can find are on here and they are only v.8 something (although the game reads this as an older version).
    The problem comes in when i want to play games like Half Life 2 and CSS, the game crashes because these drivers are out of date. Where can i get the LATEST drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon x700 card for the Toshiba Pro M70?

    Hi Stephanus
    First of all you must not be disappointed about that because you must understand few things. Because of notebook construction it is not recommended to force graphic card to run at the limit. Using latest drivers you do exact something like that. More performance means more warmness and I hope yo know very well what happen when notebook is too hot.
    I am not 100% sure but I presume that Toshiba priority is to provide hardware protection. I saw that some other notebook manufacturers offer latest drivers but there is also notice that they are not responsible if something goes wrong.
    One more thing: you have mobile computer and not desktop.

  • Need repair manual for CD-rom upgrade on Satellite Pro L20

    Hi
    Is there anywhere I can download a repair manual for the Satellite Pro L20 as I've just purchased a dvdrw drive & want to fit it myself
    TIA

    Hi
    Unfortunately, you will not find any repair manuals on the Toshiba website. Only the Toshiba service partners have such documents and have possibility to use notebook manuals.
    As far as I know the drive is secured with a screw which is placed at the bottom of the unit and under the keyboard.
    After removing of these two screws you can disconnect an optical drive from the connector on the system board.
    But without any experience you should remove any drives. I think you should ask the Toshiba service to help you because he has more experience in such cases

  • Re: Using Expert Recovery Mode in Product Recovery CD for Satellite Pro M70-220

    I would greatly appreciate advice on the following.
    My Sat Pro M70-220 (PSM75E-00D008G3), laptop has 4 partitions created by Acronis Disk Director Suit v9:
    C: OS-Win XP Pro SP3
    D: Programs
    E: Data& Downloads
    F: Backups
    After booting the laptop into Win XP, I inserted the Toshiba Product Recovery CD into the DVD-RAM drive
    and navigated to BMP folder, R:\G_INST\BMP, where I found the file "menu.bmp" which gives 2 Recovery
    options:
    *1. Recover entire Hard disk*
    Warning . All stored data o your computer will be lost.
    Factory pre-installed software will be installed.
    *2. Expert Recovery Mode Warning:*
    This is for PC experts only.
    Factory pre-installed Software can be installed onto an existing partition.
    My questions are with respect to using the "Expert Recovery Mode" :
    - will I be able to use the "Expert Recovery Mode" of the Recovery CD to reinstall the Win XP Pro (factory pre-installed software) onto my C: partition, whilst not affecting the D, E & F partitions ?
    - will I be able to format the C: partition, using the "Expert Recovery Mode", without formatting the other partitions ?
    - what is the exact "Expert Recovery Mode" procedure ?
    - where can I find further info on the "Expert Recovery Mode" procedure ?
    Thank you
    AlanCB

    >will I be able to use the "Expert Recovery Mode" of the Recovery CD to reinstall the Win XP Pro (factory pre-installed software) onto my C: partition, whilst not affecting the D, E & F partitions
    Yes, this should be possible. Using the Expert Recovery Mode you should get the Ghost window in which you could select the partition where the OS should be installed. In such case only this partition would be formatted.
    > will I be able to format the C: partition, using the "Expert Recovery Mode", without formatting the other partitions?
    Yes, theoretically this should be possible.
    > what is the exact "Expert Recovery Mode" procedure ?
    As I mentioned above, this mode allows you to restore the OS on a certain partition and only this partition will be formatted.
    > where can I find further info on the "Expert Recovery Mode" procedure ?
    How about searching here in the forum?
    I found this thread:

  • What display settings do i need to change to use hdmi cable with macbook pro

    what display settings do i need to change to what tv and display my macbook pro with hdmi cable connected to computer.

    Well, if it's 1080p TV, then go into System Preferences > Displays.
    Sometimes you have to click on detect displays & a PreferencePane should appear on each display device for you to change the resolution.
    Also decide if you want it mirrored, or extended. And also move the display to the correct position for extended so you are moving the mouse in the direction of the 2nd display being the TV.
    Option + F1 = Brings Display preferences up immediately.
    Command + F1 or F2 = from memory that's the shortcut to switch back & forth between mirroring & extended.

  • Satellite Pro M70 - How to activate touchpad mouse by use of keyboard?

    I somehow lost connection to the touchpad mouse. How can I activate it again by use of the keyboard (I don't have any external mouse)?
    Asia ;o)

    As mentioned the touchpad can be disabled and enabled using the key combination FN+F9.
    Usually if the touchpad has been disabled then a touchpad icon which appears in the task bar should contains a red crossed circle.
    Check this.

    Thank You

    Hi
    If the notebook is ON its not advisable to remove the battery.
    You can remove the battery while the notebook is OFF.
    Remove the battery, connect the AC adaptor and power up the notebook
