[IE11] Detect if website is running in compability mode

Added a website to the compability view list, opened up the developer tools but there's no way to determine if the website is running in compability view or not? Makes it hard to troubleshoot when using policies. Am i missing something?

How are you adding the site to the policy?

3. The syntax needs to be bing.com. There is no preface of http or www needed for the site and should add the second top domain.

One of my users tried to run a rule in Hyperion Planning 11.1.1.3 and an error occurred:   Error detected while attempting to run job
When I went to Essbase, I found that when I launched the rule an error appeared:
ERROR - 1006059 - Invalid block header: Illegal block type -- Please use the IBH Locate/Fix utilities to find/fix the IBH problem.
I read that it could be an issue related to corrupted blocks. I'm not familiar with MXL and I read that there are commands that I could run. Someody could provide me help?

How can I verify what version of IE11 (32 or 64) is running on a 64 bit version of Windows 7

Hello,
I recently upgraded from IE8 to IE 11. In the past when I would run ie8 from the Programs(86) folder it would indicate it was the the 32 bit version in the task manager by having an entry for iexplorer.exe *32
For IE11, the *32 does not show in the task manager.
How can I verify IE11 is running in *32 mode? I am trying to troubleshoot some active X controls that have known problems with IE11 *64 but I can't seem to verify which version I am running. Note I launch IE11 from the Program Files (86) directory
but I still would like some verification on what version is actually running. I am concerned because I am not seeing the *32 in task manager.

In IE10+, on a 64bit PC the frame (outer window) is always 64bit. The tabs are generally 32bit unless you've enabled Enhanced Protected Mode or are running inside Win8+ Metro environment.

Detected another cluster senior running on an incompatible protocol at null

Recently saw this confusing error. I'm not sure what "null" should have been but I think the error is erroneous also since everything I have is running 3.7.1.1.

If none of the troubleshooting for the display adaptor (graphics card driver update, BadDrivres.txt etc.) do not work, we have to understand that the display could actually not be supported. By display, I mean the card-driver-driver version combination. So,
1. It could be a bad card - None of the available drivers work for the application. Here, ditch the card and get a newer one that works.
2. It could be a bad driver - For e.g. Only DirectX drivers work, OpenGL ones could be pathetic (Many games detect this and if this is bad, I have seen Photoshop struggle with this). Or some display configurations would be badly supported (multiple monitors, some funny resolutions, some of the ports, crossfire etc.). Because of a Video editor, the (lack of) capabilities of the card is highlighted. Video Playback alone doesn't nearly exercise the capabilities the cards usually have to offer. Editing really does. That is why it matters if the Video Editor actually says that it supports Graphics acceleration (Or GPU acceleration) for any of the workflows.
What I am saying here is that when we blame the application for any of the issues, we have to be certain that the issues are NOT due to one of the mentioned three causes. I have seen this all too often in the gaming forums, Nero forums (some years back), in PPro forum, and here. If the application menufacturer is really to blame, the mistake would be all too obvious and too many of us would have complained about it. I do not think this is the case with Premiere Elements 10.

how do I detect I/O before running sql statement?

do you mean:
how do I know how much I/O is occurring before running a query?
or
how do I know how much I/O will be used to retrieve the data for this query?
Which OS? You can look at OEM and "top" to see your current I/O. Detecting and deciding on whether or not you want to continue to submit the query is another problem.
The question is: what problem are trying to solve? Is it really a problem or just something you imagine might occur???

How can I detect if I'm running a compiled versione of my application?

In my application I have included some special functions I don't want my customer to use. Since I will distribute the application as an .exe file, instead of cutting away those functions before releasing the .exe, I want to hide them when the application is runnig as an executable, and leave them active when running in the LV environment.
How can I detect if I'm running an executable or the LV environment? Do I have to scan the application name until I find an .exe different from labview.exe or there is another way to obtain the flag (something similar to CVI function InStandaloneExecutable() for example)?

Actually, if you're looking for MAKEAPPDISTRIB (I assume that's how you
create distributable) you can see if the command was succesfull or not.
<<deployrep.js>> This Jscript will look for this string and it will
generate a report based on the next line in the log file.
The script assumes you have an environment variable (DESCARTES_ROOT) that
points to a folder (let's say "D:\TEST"). Under that folder you have a log
folder ("d:\test\log") which holds the deploy.log log file. You can easily
change the script to reflect your systems settings.
The generated report looks like that : <<deployrep.txt>>

egrep '(EXCEPTION|Exception|exception|ERROR|Error|error)' filename
This takes a regular expression to 'egrep' all occurrences of "exception" or
"error" not matter they are in upper case or lower case.

Sql server 2005, R/3 4.6c and compability mode

I doing upgrade from 4.6c --> ECC 6.0 on sql server 2005. And i get followin error

I'm running into this same issue when trying to run PREPARE for the 4.6c to ERP/ECC 6.0 upgrade in phase INITPUT_PRE. I ran several of the queries mentioned in this thread and discovered that the database and instance are both BIN2, and 116230 columns are BIN2, but another 319398 columns are still BIN. Without reverting the database (eek, somehow) back to MSSQL2000 and rerunning instcoll.exe (again, I already did once) or building an alter table query for each one that is out of spec (which according to MSDN won't work on certain cols anyway), how can this be resolved?
for my SID database I have the following column types in count:
SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2     116230
Latin1_General_BIN     29
NULL     58467
Latin1_General_CI_AS_KS_WS     11
SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN     319398
But the databases are all running BIN2 as such:
Server     SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2

Model     SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2
TempDB     SQL_Latin1_General_CP850_BIN2

The checkdb procedure came back with no errors:

DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact your system administrator.
And the system appears to be functioning correctly, except that the Upgrade Assistant won't let me continue with the mismatched column collation types.
Suggestions? I noticed there was never a resolution posted.

My PlextorPX-708A won't run in DMA mode

My PlextorPX-708A won't run in DMA mode I've tried reinstalling it and this was also a fresh install of winXP with Service Pack1a, my other dvd dive which is made by shuttle and is older will run in DMA mode and PIO mode but the plextor DVd writer won't and when I use it in PIO mode music and videos play slow in it what is the problem, I have a MSI K7N2 Delta mobo and the two drives are hooked on the secondary IDE channel and I tried swapping both drives to slave or master What is the problem

Bobby: When you are booting and the machine detects your HD's and CD-ROM's sometimes the firmware version is shown along with the drive's ID details, press "Pause" on the keyboard if you don't get time to read it!
Another way is to go Start>Settings>Control Panel> Double-click "System" then "Hardware" tab - then click "Device Manager" look for "DVD/CD-ROM Drives" in the list of hardware and then click on "+" on the left hand side - your CD-ROM drives should now be listed - right-click on the drive you want the info on, then down the menu to "Properties" then click on the "Details" tab - this should show you the "Device ID" and hopefully the firmware version. (my apologies for writing this step-by-step guide but I though I'd include it just in case)

AJAX truclient for IE, script cannot run in load mode

I have LR 11.5 Ajax truclient for IE script which runs fine in script mode. In load mode the script starts but remains showing the status 'running'. In the task manager, it shows that the TruClient for IE Browser task is not responding.
I have already added in the HIPS file to make exclusions for :
C:\HP Loadrunner\bin\LrWebIELauncher.exe
C:\HP Loadrunner\bin\Vugen.exe
C:\HP Loadrunner\bin\wlrun.exe
C:\HP Loadrunner\bin\mdrv.exe
C:\HP Loadrunner\bin\HP.Utt.StandaloneDebugger.exe

Sounds like it windows/PC. I have ran across that for the CDs that veterinarians provide for digital x-rays.

I am trying to run my registered CS6 Design Standard programs for the first time after install. InDesign runs OK, but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trail mode. How do I activate those two?

I can't get my registered versions of CS6 Photoshop and Illustrator to run in full mode. I installed CS6 Design Standard online end of June (an upgrade from CS5.5), on my old MacBook Pro. I didn't run the programs then as I was waiting on arrival of new MacBook Pro. I migrated the programs from my old MacBook to the new, and today tried to run those programs for the first time. InDesign work OK (after an initial hiccup) but Illustrator and Photoshop will only run in trial mode, and won't let me save files. My CS6 Design Standard shows with it's registration in my Adobe Account. All seems in order, but Illustrator and Photoshop won't run in registered mode. Can you please help?

Please use the uninstallers to remove your current installation. They are located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. In WLS 5.1 server, there was an option to run under classic mode in a UNIX environment.
We just upgraded to WLS 6.1 and in the docs, http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/perform/JVMTuning.html
it mentions classic mode available in NT but not in UNIX.
Does anyone know if the java option -classic will work under 6.1 and if not, what
the new option is.

-classic asks the JVM to use the old non-HotSpot JVM. First off, why do
you want to use it? It's most likely slower.
