IE7 Spry Appending URL
I am working with an RSS feed and pulling in links and images
for display. It functions fine in Opera, FireFox, Safari but IE7
adds the web page directory URL to the beginning of the image and
link calls from the feed.
Please take a look at my test page at the following URL and
let me know if you see an issue. I have added all the CSS calls to
be inline for testing so excuse the code mess at the beginning.

Why do I have to append URL with /index.htm on one KB?
I have 7 different KBs I maintain on my webserver. I am using RoboHelp 7. For one of them, I have to append the URL with /index.htm, or it does not show the correct information. Examples of two of the KBs, and what happens with & without the index.htm appendeden

That makes sense - but I had looked at my IIS setups and they appear the same for all KBs, again here are settings for WPA Supplier & User. I created both the same day, the same way, and have compared all tabs which are identical. I can double check on how the DNS aliases that were set up, but they should have been identical as well -
Add anchor to resp URL via DynamoHttpServletResponse.sendRedirect in IE7
Right now redirecting the user to a URL with an anchor like so:
response.sendRedirect("/fake_page.html#fake_anchor");
where 'response' is a DynamoHttpServletRequest, succeeds in any browser other than IE7. For some reason, IE7 truncates the URL at the hashtag, so the browser redirects only to "/fake_page.html" instead of "/fake_page.html#fake_anchor". Many hacks seem to have been posted all around the web, but I could not find any concrete reasons as to why this happens or a reasonable workaround.
Does anyone have any experience or insight with this problem?%23 is interpreted as that as a character in the URL instead of a special character signifying an anchor.

How can I add linkable urls when making a web gallery
I need linkable urls on a web gallery page - ie opening in the browser, preferably in a new window/tab.
I thought I had it by manually editing:
<contactEmail>url:http://mysite.co.uk</contactEmail>
This *does* load Firefox, but the appended 'url:' is still there.
The xml <sourceURL>http://mysite.co.uk</sourceURL> is not picked up by the code anywhere.
Is there a hack to do this, or even a legitimate way!hello?? is there anybody out there?

Working on a pretty basic template. I started with a
Dreamweaver built-in, then modified it slightly to fit my uses. As

than the Main Content to the right. In Safari on Mac, it's lined up
perfectly.
So, my questions:
1. Does IE7 not use the "clip" part of CSS?
2. I have all margins and padding set to 0 on tops of the
DIVS. Does IE not recognize them?

You have a form immediately inside a <ul>. And you have
multiple empty
<label> tags. And you have a <label> around the

Anyhow, it's likely that what you are seeing is an unmanaged
top margin on
the <form> tag combined with an unmanaged top/bottom
margin on the <ul> tag.

How to get the server URL?
I am running WLS server on my machine to host a web app in ADF. How can I get the server name in my manged bean. I dont want to hardcode. The URL is something like this

I have three pages on my web site that will not completely
load sometimes. This is not a IE6 problem but it is an IE7-Spry
problem. What can be done to force the load of these pagaes? Some
users can usually get the pages to load with IE7 but there are some
others which most of the time can not load the data. This is
definitely a Spry-IE7 problem. Any solutions?Hi don0212,

The one with the beach scene. When I looked at one of your previous
pages, that Flash movie was pegging my CPU when it was in view
*and* it seemed to be killing the processing of timers in the
Browser which is why Spry never got a chance to do any processing.

Hi, I've never had issues with adding a simple link to a
button. However, with IE7 my Get URL behavior won't seem to work in
IE. I'm including the new AC_Active_Content.js now that spits out
with the published files and it still doesn't seem to work.
Please confirm what code I should be using for a button link
and where it should go (action or behavior?)

Is There any functon module available to achieve the same?If you want to dynamically lookup one of the URLs for another one of the handlers other than Web Dynpro, consider using this method:
cl_http_server=>get_extension_url( EXPORTING extension_class = c_handler_name
IMPORTING urls = icf_urls ).
For the for the SAPGUI for HTML you could supply the handler class CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS_WEBGUI_SIZE and lookup the URL from there.
You can also use cl_http_server=>append_field_url to append URL parameters to an already built URL and safe encode them.

SendRedirect - can not find server
Hi,
I have a jsp page with a form.
This form's action is another jsp.
This jsp checks some values in the request
and redirects the call to a servlet.
I am using response.sendRedirect.
The application works well if the webserver is running in port 80.
IF i try to run the applicaiton in some other port other than 80,
i am geting "Page can not be displayed" error.
Any idea of what the problem might be?

i want to logoff and redirect to to the login page.
i use WDClientUser.forceLogoffClientUser([_"what should be the code here"_]);
If i pass null as the url, it will terminate and default message will be shown (it will not go to logon screen)
I want to logoff and navigate to customize login page.
I don't know from which server the request is from dev, Qa or some other system.
I can use WDClientUser.forceLogoffClientUser("http://dev"); but it doesn't work with QA.

Question about bluetooth communication between PC and mobile device
I am a newbie of bluetooth communication. This time I need to have connumication between PC and mobile device (mainly mobile phone) by sending strings. PC is acted as server and mobile device act as client.
For using bluetooth in PC, I use bluecove 2.0.1
I have already connected them successfully.
When I want to send strings between them, it is found that it can only do one cycle of communication (client -> server -> client).
For my design, they can communicate multiple times.
I simulate the core class of the system, the performance is fine.
Cound anyone help me to watch the code and give me some advices?

and then reconstruct the image.
the Stream classes in J2ME AND J2SE are all u will require.
also the Image class.

Calling oracle function in OMB script

Can anyone please tell me how can i get the returned value of an oracle function in OMB script. or how can i get the value into OMB variable and use it.
Basically i want to set the properties of OWB mapping via OMB script.
Following OMB code sets the max error limit of a mapping.

Best RegardsHere is my bare-bones OMB SQL Library to allow you to do pure SQL calls from within OMB+. All I have ever used it for is to run queries, so I don't have a library procedure for calling a function, however if your function is SQL-callable (e.g. select my_func() from dual) then it would work. Either that or you'll want to augment this library to build a procedure that will call and return the results from a java preparedStatement. It's something I've been meaning to do, but haven't got around to it yet.
All you should need to do is save this as it's own tcl file and then source it at the top of your own script, or embed it into your script.
EDIT: Here is a page with some sample code on using java.sql.CallableStatement to call a Pl/SQL procedure from Java which should certainly do the trick for you in conjunction with the basic session control in my library.
