IEAK10 Title Bar customisation not displayed

Using IEAK10 to customise install for deployment through SCCM 2012. Not many customisation made since most will be done via GPO. Can see the Corporate Intranet page fine but cannot see the customised title bar i.e. "Internet Explorer Provided by xxxx"
(this is on Windows 7 SP1 Enterprise image)
Can clearly see the HKCU registry key for it Provided by.... but just don't see it displaying in the title bar - which is showing F11 etc. just blank no information in there
Any ideas ?

Resolved - apparently GPO is applying over the IEAK hence no message - thanks

  • Srpy menu bar will not display

Was working away on modifying a spry menu bar when all of a
sudden the menu bar will not display. Tried creating a new page and
inserting the menu bar and still will not display. Won't even
    display in previous pages created.
    Anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks

The following code calls the MenuBar widget into your
document, but the widget will not be found, if the code that I
provided you is not properly formatted.
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var MenuBar1 = new Spry.Widget.MenuBar("MenuBar1",
    {imgDown:"SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarDownHover.gif",
    imgRight:"SpryAssets/SpryMenuBarRightHover.gif"});
    //-->
    </script>
When I insert a SPRY widget into my document the Javascript
and CSS files that construct and determine the appearance of the
widget are automatically placed into a folder called SpryAssets. My
document is housed in a different folder. Thus, I must exit the
folder in which my document is contained before entering the
SpryAssets folder. When I read your href attribute it appears that
your SpryAsset folder and your document are located in the same
directory folder. If this is true, then I do not understand why
    your widget does not appear.
I can offer two additional suggestions, and then my knowledge
of what might be wrong is exhausted:
    1) If possible insert the widget again using a previous
version of your document in which the widget has not already been
    inserted.
    2) Always make sure that your document has been saved at
least once before inserting a SPRY object. This will insure that
everything is properly linked when the widget is inserted.
In the meantime, maybe someone more knowledgeable than I will
    be able to help.

  • Book Title in Navigation Bar Does Not Display Correctly

    Hi,
I tried creating a epub file following Epub Best Practices ebook but after creation and loading of the ebook, I noticed that the book title at the navigation bar is not appearing correctly. The only the upper half of the text is shown so it appears that the text is cut in half. What should I do to correct this?
    Thanks,
    -- Jeff

It seems that ADE is having errors displaying the book title when it has a non-breaking space. The book title in the previous post contains an non-breaking space. And when I replaced it with a regular space, the display was fixed. See link for the screen grab:
    http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/WIRjcDpEJSGOIur7FEBvzg?authkey=U6NN0HOA9dw&feat=direc tlink
Aside from non-breaking spaces, what other characters does ADE does not support (which displays the title incorrectly)?

  • How do I get TITLE BAR ONLY to display for a window (without minimizing the whole window)?

I want ONLY the title bar to show, then resize to normal then shrink when I ask it to.
    JIM

Here is an extension that you can control which toolbars show in '''Full Screen''' mode ("'''F11'''), and in what he calls '''zombie mode''' which I would call '''Full Window''' mode ("'''Shift+F11'''")
    This is with Menus showing.
The title bar will show in zombie mode, not in Full Screen mode ("F11")
The change that I make in the options myself is that the tabs bar always shows
I like to see the title bar normally but in either of those two with the tbs bar displayed, I can hover over the active tab to see what the title actually is.v

  • Question: My spry menu bar is not displaying correctly in Dreamweaver

    Hello,
I am  new to Dreamweaver CS5, so coding isn't my area of expertise. My problem with my spry menu bar is that it does not display the tabs on the menu bar correctly. When I try to apply new changes to the CSS of the horizontal menu bar, half of the tabs will change and the other half will not. Also, I am unable to drag and move the menu bar itself around, a function that I was once able to do before. At times, only one tab of the menu bar will display itself, without any of the other tabs as well.
I have a hunch that my problems stem from some coding errors in the SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css, and possibly in the SpryMenuBar.js. On the CSS Styles panel, my SpryMenuBarHorizontal.CSS list reads as follows:
I also have a hunch that something about this line-up is also incorrect, but I don't exactly know what the problem is.

    SpryMenuBar.js
This file handles the JavaScript for Spry Menu Bar.  You should have no need
to edit this file.  Some highlights of the MenuBar object is that timers are
used to keep submenus from showing up until the user has hovered over the parent
menu item for some time, as well as a timer for when they leave a submenu to keep
showing that submenu until the timer fires.

If anyone could possibly steer me on the right direction with this, I'd be very grateful! I've been struggling with this for about a month now and I feel like I may have only made the situation worse.
I'm not sure if I have to keep making a new spry assets folder in my website or not or if I have to drag and drop the spry assets into the root folder. I have restarted my website over at least a dozen times by now. I have tried changing folders, dragging and dropping various spry assets folders everywhere and I have also uninstalled and reinstalled my copy of Dreamweaver CS5 in the hopes of getting my spry horizontal menu bar to act normal. I am completely new at Dreamweaver and I really, really need some help with this.
    Thanks!

I haven't been able to get my site posted up yet. Here is a link to it anyway:andrearosales.com
I will be working on connecting my files up to my server. At the moment, here are some screen shots of some messages that I am getting when I am saving my file.
I'm not sure what to make of these messages. I tried to put a new spry horizontal menu bar on my main page, and when it appeared, it displayed as a spry vertical menu bar.
Here is a picture of what it looks like:
I"m going to refer to the links that were suggested to me though. I'm not sure if pictures of the code will help to solve my problem. I'm going to try again to connect my files to my server though.

  • HT1199 Menu bar will not display time

    Help!

    Hello Riley,
    Apple Menu Bar Icons Gone...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
You've probably got a couple of corrupt preference files.
Move these files to the Desktop for now...
    /Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist
    /Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences>com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
    /Users/<yourname>/Library/Preferences/ByHost>com.apple.systemuiserver.xxx.plist
where 'xxx' is a 12 digit (hexadecimal) numeric string.
    Reboot.
This will reset your Menu Bar to the default, you'll need to go through System Preferences to reset the ones you need. (If they are already checked, uncheck them first and then recheck them).

  • Using SharePoint 2013 OIP the "Title" column is not displayed

Using the SharePoint 2013 OIP against our SharePoint 2013 environment, I am seeing that the "Title" column is never displayed in any of the activities or published data.  This is the only limitation that is preventing me from using this OIP.
Currently using the scorch OIP and am concerned that it seems is not being actively maintained.  Which by the way shows the Title column in all the same lists I am connecting to with the Microsoft provided OIP.
Thanks for any guidance you can provide,
    Jim

Hi Jim, this is something I've seen before. It may be a bug in the SharePoint 2013 IP, though it does work in some cases and not in others, so difficult to say what the cause is. My recommendation is to change your list to make the default Title column optional
and hidden, and use a new custom field for the name of the item instead. See also:

  • How to display Column List (Search Bar - Do Not Display) in Ascending Order

    Hi,
I am having a Interactive Report..
In the Search Bar we have Select Columns, under that we have Do Not Display.
where all the columns (currently not displayed) are listed.
How can we display these columns in Ascending order
    Thanks,
    Deepak

Do you want to display these columns in the IR?
If yes. Select the column you want to display and click the the '>'.
In the interactive report regions - source, where you have your query to select the columns use order by to sort them in assn order.
Do you want to keep these columns as 'Do not display' and have them in assn order there?
Select all columns to display and move the columns back to the 'Do not display' region one by one making selections in assn order.
Or in the query select the columns in the order desired.
I don't know if I am helping. I fell like I got your question all wrong. Still...

  • Windows 8 Title Bar does not reappear

After the title bar auto disappears, it does not come back when I move my mouse to the top. Also, my mouse pointer does not change to a hand so I can grab and close the app. I have to always hit Alt + Space to get
    the title bar back.

After the title bar auto disappears, it does not come back when I move my mouse to the top.
Sounds like you need to calibrate your pointer device.  FWIW I don't see one for my mouse.  But it does have a diagnostic called mousinfo.exe which could show if I needed something like that.  That is a tool that MS provide in both their IntelliPoint
and Mouse&Keyboard software.  For example, relevant to your example, when the pointer is hovering at the top Y Position: -1 is shown.  I suspect that that would be the only value which you could use to start from for the function that you want
to use.  Heh.  In fact, using Mousekeys while monitoring with mousinfo.exe I found I was able to raise the Title bar at as low as 3.  YMMV.  If you have a real numeric keypad (or a hardware equivalent) you could try using Mousekeys instead
of whatever mouse you are using too.
As for the other point about the pointer icon changing to a hand, I think that is old functionality.  Just drag down as soon as the title bar appears.  E.g. consider the title bar as providing the same usability signal that the appearance of the
    hand had.

  • Option to collapse windows by double-click to title bar only, NOT minimize into dock?

A double-click to a window's title bar did, in former incanations of the Mac system, result in a collapse of the window to title bar only. Currently, it seems that this option is gone? All I find results in "minimize to the dock".
    Is there a hidden option?
Or is there third-party software that adds back this feature?

I was a bit "perplex" about the sensitivity that the term "iOSification" has caused, so I needed a little time to think about that.
From my point of view, the removal of the "collapse a window to the title bar only" function is a feature that fits very well to the wide screen format that we have today. It IS something that was and is (would be) useful on a 27'' screen, and I think it is reasonable to blame the "iOSification" (that is, the attempt to unify the user interface on very small and "real" screens) for the removal of this feature.
I am using Macs since the IIfx (with System 6). It might be that the term "iOSification" fits better to other "back the the Mac" changes to MacOS, but it describes a general attitude that I do start hating.

  • Titles and gifs not displayed when re-opened

I had a project that was edited in 2.0. When I open it up in CS3, all of the title clips and animated gifs are shown on the program monitor as offline (red media offline screen). In the Bin, the titles and gifs are shown online. I went through each clip: Reveal in Project; Replace with Clip from Bin. I was able to correct the 50 or so "Media Offline" clips. When I save the project and then reopen it, the titles and gifs are gone again. If I import the project with the missing clips to another project, the clips are OK. But then, when I close that new project and reopen it, the clips are "offline" again.
This project was originally shot in HD (Sony FX-1) but the finished video is just on a regular DVD. The project settings I selected were DV-NTSC Widescreen 48Hz. The mpeg video clips are always there but not the titles that were created in 2.0 nor the animated gifs.
Then I added an animated gif in CS3. It too goes "Media Offline" when the project is reopened. Again, the titles and gifs are shown online in the Bin and can be reloaded to the Timeline but go away when the project is reopened.
I have another project that was shot in standard definition video and edited in 2.0. I selected DV-NTSC Standard 48Hz. It works fine in CS3. But, as I mentioned, the HD video clips are not missing, it's the titles and gifs that are missing.

One change in Firefox 4 is to by default stop Firefox displaying the warning message, but it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
    # Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter
    # Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    # Locate the preference '''browser.tabs.warnOnClose''', if its value is set to '''false''', double-click on it to change its value to '''true'''
    # Repeat this for these 3 preferences '''browser.warnOnQuit''', '''browser.warnOnRestart''' and '''browser.showQuitWarning'''
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
    # Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
    # Go to the General panel
    # Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

  • The address bar is not displaying the URL of the page

When I open a tab, I cannot see the URL of the opened page in it. If I enter a new address and press enter, I go to the page. The URL displays the entered URL, but doesn't change for the new pages that load.
Also, the back/forward buttons do not work. I'm guessing it's related to the address bar issue.

Found it! The "Redirect Remover" extension was causing the problem! Thanks for your help :)
